[SPOILERS] Keyblade Graveyard Confusion
Svard replied to KingdomHearts3's topic in Kingdom Hearts - General
Kind of odd that, if you look at the BBS Secret movie from KH2FM+, you'll see that exact same scene from 0.2 toward the end of the movie. I guess Nomura wanted to parallel the two? -
Haha! Nice! When I was a kid, Squirtle was my first choice.

What's your favorite Disney animated TV show based on a movie?
Svard replied to Joy Liberatore's topic in Poll of the Week
While I haven't watched any of these in a long time, I remember Hercules being my favorite, especially with the comedy. The characters are all Quirky, especially Icarus, and of course, Hades has long been a favorite of mine as a Disney villain. -

Does this mean that you, Bill Cipher, actually watched (and enjoyed) this movie? -

Aw, come on! He certainly wasn't my favorite of that trio, but even he doesn't deserve being compared to Mike Pence!

Relationship Goals ft Pence and Trump
Svard replied to The 13th Kenpachi's topic in Random & Forum Games
And sadly, I don't think Donald Trump even really likes him. I know I don't, just looking at his Wikipedia page. Guy's a genuine d-bag! Theirs is not a healthy relationship if you ask me. -
Speaking from personal experience, when I went through some very hard times with depression, I drank A LOT. I will tell you this: alcohol will only make you sad and sulky when you are already depressed. At least, that was the case with me. Drinking only made me worse, and it was when I drank that I really just wanted to end it all. Depression is never easy to overcome. But I was able to look at the bottle I was drinking from, and said to myself, "NO MORE ALCOHOL! I'm going to go out, get some fresh air, and change myself one thought at a time!" It took a while, and I had a friend that I could talk to to help me get through it. Sadly, she and I don't talk anymore, because I became too attached to her. But I managed to stay off alcohol for a solid three months, and have since, only been drinking once or twice a month. That alone really helped me out with my depression. People will say alcohol is poison, which, it certainly can be, and especially is when drinking alone. If you do drink, only do it with friends or family. Once thing that friend of mine said to me was "Never keep quiet. If not you, then who? If not now, then when?" I don't know if those were the exact words, but it was something like that, and those words have stuck with me. Tell people what you are feeling. Focus on building yourself up, and don't waste time procrastinating on it. Start today! Not tomorrow, not a month from now. If you feel like you need counseling, then find someone good in your area. Depression and anxiety won't be cured overnight, but you can at least get yourself started on fixing yourself.

I know LittleKuriboh himself has gone through some hard times with depression in the last couple years. It seems like this video is probably something to do with that, and his way to give encouragement to everyone facing their losses in life, to help them realize that they, too, are loved. I also know how crappy depression can be. There have been times I've felt like giving up on life, and even ending my own life. Thankfully, I have friends, both online and at work, who have helped me get through the day. It's always good to get a little reassurance every now and then.

Goodbye Caroline.

Meanwhile, in California, legalization of marijuana has passed. Californians will need it at this point to keep their minds numb from the rest of this election.

I only voted for propositions and local office. I decided to opt out of presidential voting. Sad that we're stuck with two bullshit candidates.

Allow me to answer that question with this clip... https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=p1tp4euCE6g And by "NEEEEEEIIIIIGGHHHH" Celestabellebethabelle means "YEEEEEAAAAAAAAAA". Glad to see you've already started though. Gravity Falls is a real gem among TV shows, especially with how crappy television is these days.

As others have stated, it's most likely something to do with Sony contracts, but otherwise, I would think that they would take the opportunity to release them on XB1, since they've released FF13 on the 360, and FF15 is coming to the XB1. It would help in captivating new fans, especially those of younger generations, who have chosen the XB1 over the PS4. The XB1 has sold over 20 million units in total, and is still only 3 years young, so in the least, there is a decent user base, and it's only going to increase in the coming years. While I myself am not agitated, I certainly don't see why they wouldn't at least express interest in releasing it in NA and Europe for the XB1, especially since porting wouldn't be too difficult, being that the PS4 and XB1 are both using x86 architecture with AMD hardware.

Anime | Manga Any anime that you just couldn't get into?
Svard replied to Setrex's topic in General Discussion
Frankly, I find it hard to get into most anime these days, as the market has become over-saturated, and most of them just aren't that good. If I had to choose one that is very popular though, I would say SAO. It's just another anime with the same cliches from any anime, coupled with an extreme .hack scenario. -
Only worse, as it still hasn't sold as many units. It's a shame, too. It had potential to be a great system, but had too much tech and poor marketing from the start. Plus, Sony needs to stop making their own exclusive storage for their systems and stick with SD.

Kairi's new outfit..is babyish?
Svard replied to Ventuslover123's topic in Kingdom Hearts III & Kingdom Hearts III Re Mind
Looks like her KH2 outfit to me. Blouse, necklace, everything. -
I've been thinking about getting the PS4 remaster of the original and the 2nd one. Still not 100% sold on it though. I hope I'm not getting too off-topic by asking, but I would like to get some other opinions before making the investment. Like what are the primary elements of the game? Is it more action or puzzle-solving with the whole gravity manipulation? How would you rate the story and characters? Is the overall experience solid, all in all?
-
True enough. The tragic part is that it seems like Riku and Kairi will be going into the realm of darkness, which means we may still be forced with another "Riku vs the Darkness" episode. So yeah... godamnit, Nomura!
-
To be fair here, how often do people really just get over their past mistakes, especially one as big as Riku's, who let the darkness take him to the point where he pointed his sword against his best friend? Being forgiven is one thing, but forgiving oneself is a whole other thing. Riku still carries that weight on his shoulders, even after so long, and he's always been scared of going back to that to some degree. Plus, he is constantly being haunted by Ansem SOD, who only keeps reminding him of his past mistakes. It's only natural that he would still carry the burden of his past. Still, I do agree that SE likes to bring it up a bit much. In CoM, he accepted the darkness as his power and vowed to use that power for good. Then in KH2 and DDD, he carried the guilt of having accepted the darkness in the first place. I guess he maybe still ties it to the things he did in KH1, but hopefully after DDD, we won't have to have that whole "Riku vs the Darkness" theme over again.

Everyone says it's adorable, but I'm kinda freaked out by those creepy large eyes and giant blocky head. -_-
