  1. I know right, I'm wondering this too, its ruined my entire day hahaha was looking forward too it.
  2. Happy birthday buddy! I've got some Jaffa Cakes here with me though instead of cookies
  3. Just realised how amazing this song is <3
  4. I know that every community has people like this but like I say the abuse was directed towards kh13 and mainly a certain member of the kh13 news team. Giving abuse to a site is bad enough, but when it's directed to a certain member of the site, that's when it needs to be stomped out.
  5. Okay, firstly I wish I never went around snooping for information on KH3 in the first place. I looked at the job listings for the first time in over 8 months just to see if anything had been added discretely in the job description that could hint towards some inside information like for example, "work on creating a snowy environment" or, "physics engineer for a galaxy far far away." Then, I came across the job lighting artist and I saw the words "Writing in KINGDOM HEARTS III" and "post-production" so I thought I would let people know to let them speculate and have their own thoughts on the matter. I never approached the news team regarding this and when I woke up the next morning and saw they had turned it into an article I thought, "great, this way it will bring it to more peoples attention, we can speculate, get excited and more fans will know about this hidden piece of info." However people have been saying, as a direct result of my actions, that kh13 and the news team have been reporting false information and literally giving them abuse, which I see as bullying and intimidation. kh13 is here to bring fans together from all over the world, to talk about the Kingdom Hearts franchise, have friendly debates, to bring news no matter how big or small, which then allows fans to speculate and keeps us updated on the franchise. Now from what I have seen transpire across social media towards kh13 and certain individuals, who have literally took time out of their day voluntarily, to research and write news to us, I think these people on social media are an absolute disgrace and it's appalling and disgusting behaviour. At the end of the day: It's a game. A game. Yes, it will always have a special place in our lives but when it comes to the point where a number of people in the community are giving others abuse, just because the game may be entering post-production, then, I'm sorry but please take a look at your priorities in life and maybe these people need to find a better outlet. Instead of getting so focused on a video game to a point where they feel if the slightest bit of information is not to their liking, they then throw their dummy out of the pram and they act as though kh13 has committed a crime. It's a game that will be released eventually so what's the issue if certain parts of the information are speculative? The information will not change the release date or the final quality of the game so there's no point in harassing others over speculative pieces of information that are designed to start a conversation amongst the community. I came back on kh13 after six months. After researching Kingdom Hearts for the first time since then I've tried to bring people interesting little points here and there, that would get fans discussing different aspects of the franchise. But all that's done is cause a massive backlash for kh13 who has done nothing but give, give, give to the community since it was first launched. We wouldn't have know that there was a play-arts KH3 Sora or a KH world tour orchestra happening next year if it wasn't for the kh13 news team. Unfortunately some people seem to forget how much this site has given to the community over the years. If these people weren't so fixated with a video game then maybe they would have a better outlook in life, with a better attitude and more respect for other people who are just trying to help. These issues of behaviour are not directed to anyone on kh13 that I know of.
  6. We will just have to be patient to see if they announce '2017' this winter but I'll admit, it is difficult to not see it releasing in 2017 after these recent revelations. It would seem strange to release a KH3 Sora figurine in January 2017, for KH3 to then come out in 2018. It would hurt me if we had to wait the best part of another 2 years.
  7. I'm just going to completely come out now and say there is no doubt in my mind 100%, that this game will release in 2017 on its 15th year anniversary. I think if the FF7 Remake part 1 gets released next year too that's fine, all they would have to do is leave a 3 month gap between them both with it being FF7 20th anniversary. But I now think KH3 has a better chance of releasing in 2017 just due to the fact its had a year longer in development.
  8. This is just my opinion but I think with FFXV coming out after a 10 year cycle in September and then KH 2.8 coming in December; I think they could do the same with FF7 have that come out in September and KHIII in December since it's the 20th and 15th anniversary of both franchises. You could argue that would be too close but with FF15 and 2.8 having that gap I don't think it would effect the sales of 2.8 and I don't think the 3 month gap would effect KH3 sales either. I think it's just the right amount of time to complete one before the other.
  9. haha I just said KH3 jobs because that's the only game they are advertising jobs for at the moment in business division 3. Haha I'm like a spy.
  10. Thanks pal I'm hoping for a December 2017 - March 2018 release, I couldn't wait 2 years without a KH game after 2.8.
  11. Square Enix recently updated their job opportunities in the career section of their website, and some of these new listings are for positions on the Osaka team of Square Enix Business Division 3, which is the team currently working on Kingdom Hearts III. We previously reported on the majority of the listings found on the site, but four new positions on the Kingdom Hearts team have opened up. The titles of the positions and brief descriptions of the jobs are listed below, thanks to R Kane. Interesting to note is the role of the Lighting Artist, which hints at a role in post-production. For those who don't know, post-production usually implies the final stages of the development process, which are used to polish and tweak minor things before development ends. Major thanks goes to KH13 user SnowPint7Fourths for the tip! Based on these new job openings, how far along do you think Kingdom Hearts III is? Let us know in the comments below! 12. Ah right yeah, thanks for that! I was wondering if they had dealt with it in some way so that probably sums it up. Maybe Riku will talk more about their past with Mickey in KH3 too since they will be teaming up with each other to clarify a few things.
  13. It's good to see Nomura staying true to his word and telling us these four stories. I think this interview was conducted in 2006/7 so it's unreal to think he finally get's to tell Mickey's story a staggering 10 years later! That's crazy.. edited dude, thanks
  14. I found this on the official KH Wiki page: The Director's Secret Report XIII is a thirteen-part expose featuring Tetsuya Nomura's secrets about the worlds, characters, and overall story of the Kingdom Hearts series. This report is included in the book "Another Report" that comes with the Limited Edition version of Kingdom Hearts II Final Mix+. Halfway through the interview the interviewer asks this question: III - About the World of Darkness and such, you haven't gone into detail. Could you possibly talk about some of these things? Does the beach at the beginning and end of KH [iI] have some connection to the World of Darkness? Presently there are 4 main untold stories to consider: "the period of the King's absence", "the period of Riku's absence", "Roxas's time in Organization XIII" and "Xehanort's past". In this case, the story of "the period of the King's absence" is set in the realm of darkness. I am examining a way to tell these 4 stories so I might be able to find a way to tell them soon. As we know so far: Roxas's time in Organization XIII: 358/2 Days The period of the King's absence: 0.2 BBS -A Fragmentary Passage- Xehanort's past: BBS and maybe KH3? But interestingly, "the period of Riku's absence" I believe, has not been told yet? Do you feel this will be told in 0.2 BBS along with the King's absence, since a flashback of Riku was shown in the BBS Volume Two secret ending, or even in KH3? I guess only time will tell. By the way, I think it's crazy with this interview being conducted in 2006/7 that it's taken around 10 years to tell Mickey's story! Can't believe how much time has passed since then.
  15. If people think we're better outside the European Union which looks out for and protects each other, then that's the UK's decision unfortunately. The millions of pounds we are now supposedly saving isn't even going to the NHS like Nigel promised. I voted to stay in.
  16. Yeah that's likely the explanation but I would just like some confirmation from the game itself, like the other games have done. It probably is the case like you say but I just feel it needs to be mentioned or seen in the final update to make the subtitle... erm, substantial!
  17. I just think it would just seem strange though if the χ-Blade isn't mentioned or seen in the entire game before it terminates in September; with it being the main subtitle to a KH game I thought it would have had a bigger impact to the story than what it has. But I guess not... No.
  18. That's very interesting to think that the χ could have an entirely different meaning this time rather than the χ-Blade, thanks for that!
  19. I know, I mentioned the χ-Blade in my post? Yeah that's what I assumed and yeah you're right, I guess it doesn't have to come into play just yet since Nomura says Unchained χ will branch from the story of χ and will begin a 'Season 2' to the story. It will just seem strange to me if the PC game χ ends in September and we don't see or mention the χ-Blade.
  20. It gets way harder and longer to level up after LV 200 because the EXP increases way more and by levelling up you get more AP, HP and Chip, Dale and Cid medals.
