I honestly have a feeling that the creators have more up their sleeve for us than just starting us out at Twilight town or the mysterious tower. I think it will start in a new town, (maybe Daybreak, or some variation of it) and MAYBE even as a new character, similar to the KH2 opening..

The mail room in traverse town on KHDDD is super awesome. To me, Kingdom Hearts 3 only has to add a few NPC's, and give me big worlds like on DDD. (Which has already been promised.) I understand people's logic in wanting NPC's, but I don't think it's a huge deal. Kingdom Hearts offers loads of other luxuries like swift combat, excellent character costumes, and exploration as a whole. Think about Twilight town on KH2. That world has a lot of people you can talk to, but we forget to give square credit for when they DID add the NPCs.

I would like a super bundle that came with 1.5, 2.5, and 3. So it featured every title. Then the steel case, and above all a figurine, of sora on kh3.

Square Enix Origin (website) posted it on their Facebook page (with a link to the article on their site) that Square finally confirmed there will be no trailer. Trust me, I HOPE they're lying. I want a trailer!

Yeah I just now read that square Enix confirmed there will be no trailer releasing anytime soon. And that they announced this due to a "false rumor that swept social media." Haha that false rumor swept days ago, confirming there was no trailer would've been nice days ago as well.

I do a lot of online shopping for Kingdom Hearts (for things like Trinity Masterpieces, final mix titles) which requires that I look for Japanese sellers. Even with the import fees and shipping time, I don't have as much trouble as this guy is giving you. It's unnecessary for the seller to make shopping this difficult.

I know! I'm just joking, I understand your initial point, when it comes to getting new KH3 information - especially trailers - it's impossible to not be a little skeptical about it.

That's a really good answer! It leaves me wondering if Sora will possibly lose everything in Kh3, I can't get over feeling like there's more to that statement from Xemnas.

Alright, do you guys remember on kh3D DDD at The Grid, prior to the Rinzler battle, you had a conversation with Xemnas and young Xehanort. The screen went black and there were copies of sora all slowly disappearing as Xemnas said "the bits and bytes that have made up your life so far, can you say for sure that they are not just copies of someone else's? [memories]" what did that mean exactly? Might that be something bigger for kingdom Hearts 3? Or did I miss something?

I'm excited for Ventus to finally wake up, and for Sora to talk to him, and plus for Aqua, Terra and Ven to finally face Xehanort and the 13 darkness members.

I would love to see Roxas, he's always been my favorite. I know Roxas returned to Sora but I would go nuts for Roxas, the original no.13

Xion's definitely a good choice, and a popular one too!! I've seen a lot of people say that Roxas kinda ruined the moment with the ice cream comment, I personally liked it, I just see it as symbolism of all he's come to know in his nobody non-existence, like ice cream = friendship. But I understand what you mean. Xion for me is a little further down the list for my sympathetic feelings. But I could see where she would be someone's number one. You're not kidding! I wouldn't personally put it as my no. 1 emotional character/ character experience but Pooh bear is sad, especially KH2. When at the end of Pooh's chapter, sora sits next to Winnie, and Pooh says "I'm trying to think of a way. To make Sora stay." Or something like that. Then Sora explains that he'll always be in his heart. So sad!!

Kingdom Hearts has somewhat of a complex story, and Nomura manages to make us love it by emotionally attaching us to the characters, and then pretty much whatever happens, we'll go with it! For example: in my kingdom hearts experience, roxas has left the biggest impact on me, because of how desperately he fights for his life that he's slowly being told isn't even his. He throws the keyblade in anger, yells at DiZ, and most importantly, the sora roxas fight at TWTNW. This is IMO, the most emotional battle in the series. You can tell how hard roxas fights for his life. And in the end of battle cutscene, he forgets all strategy and just relentlessly slams his keyblade into sora's until sora falls to his knees. So well done.

Dream Drop Distance Pros: The worlds were refreshingly new and the experience felt really different because of the flow motion ability. Some would say the story is way too complex but it's really great because it shows that Sora is not just a perfect invulnerable character, and that even he needs to be rescued sometimes. This title also allows for character development on Lea's side and Riku's. Cons: Attacks rarely stagger enemies, primarily bosses, and I believe this has already been said but spirits are the only living things you can react with in gameplay, as Disney characters are really just in cutscenes. Birth By Sleep Pros: Aqua, Ventus, and Terra are diverse in all the right ways, Terra's attacks feel like hard hitters and I know that's what the developers were going for. While Ven is more agile, and Aqua focuses on defense and magic. Disney town is way more fun than Disney castle imo. The gameplay is solid, for the better part, and the command melding system isn't way too complicated (like Level 5 games are) and the story is one of the best in the series I think. Additionally, BBS has a LOT to do after story completion which means a lot in my book. Cons: the worlds do get repetitive, the third time through. Battles such as the Mysterious figure and lingering sentiment and No heart are great battles! But the requirements to beating them weigh more on thunder surge, dodge roll, and good timing. The loading screens are really long (but this only applies to the psp version) Conclusion: Both are great games, but I think Birth by Sleep is the superior title.

Pretty unanimous that we don't want much of an introductory sequence, especially since we're gladly accepting waiting for 0.2.

Actually that's pretty brilliant. In my opinion! Especially depending on how the opening scene is the conversation between the two.

Of course there will be an introductory world, or stage where combat is scarce and we're learning the controls, do you think they'll pull a KH2 and start us off as a new character or anyone other than Sora? And in which world will we start? I'm thinking probably Destiny Islands, playing as Sora.

Hello Kh13, I've kept up with this website's news for almost 4 years, but never actually started an account. I love the KH series and have spent many nights grinding to lv 99 just because anything lower isn't good enough!! Anyway, I'm a big pianist, songwriter, and musician, (also a huuuge Queen fan) and part of why I fell in love with making melodies is because of the influence Yoko Shimomura's music had on my early piano days. Kingdom Hearts has a special way of attaching itself to some of our deepest emotional memories, and seeing so much as Sora holding the "keyblade of people's hearts" up to his own chest, willing to forget what will become of himself and smile knowing that his sacrifice will return Kairi's heart almost forces tears of compassion! I'm sure it would be, I think they've got something big regarding a new world planned. Just not sure if it's Star Wars or something else. But I agree it probably shouldn't be counted on.

Ever since the announcement of 2.8, I figured KH3 would be set for late 2016. I don't think 2.8 is going to stall it reaaaally long, I guess I saw 2.8 as a stepping stone to 3.

Of the few returning worlds: Twilight Town Destiny Islands, and I think it'll be playable. Mysterious Tower Olympus Coliseum TWTNW Castle Oblivion New Worlds: Kingdom of Corona Big Hero 6 Frozen Brave Wreck it Ralph A new World for Disney (town, castle, etc) Star Wars. (I think it's very possible) Shibuya (I personally would love this) A New Area of the badlands. Keyblade Gr. And finally Kingdom Hearts itself. I think it'll be a world.
