  1. Like I said....people seeing a kh esque sequel is nothing new to KH and I think there should be more. Even though we can clearly tell what the plot will be just by the story. I'm sorry if it's not exactly a great answer for me, especially since my main concern is big hero 6 as a world. although i did buy the answer for people seeing it as refreshing. Although in my eyes its alien to the series. But other responces were lacking. In which they gave an answer but simply stating the question. Why are we hyped for big hero 6? Because it's big hero 6. If I receive my goal for getting treasure planet, and someone asked me why I was so hyped about it, I would give more than the obvious. First, I've been waiting for it to be in kh for years. The sci-fi steam punk art style fits perfectly into kh and also other more important themes such as opening doors and going into the "heart" of the world. The story was serious and epic and soda joining in could be great. Other possible mini games is riding on the jet and having either Ben or Jim or maybe even morph. Treasure Planet themed keyblade would be something to look forward to. But considering treasure planet feels more safe than big hero 6, I was hoping a better answer
  2. it felt like a pixar movie and that's the main point. their not redoing it. Their going to continue where the film left off.
  3. I feel like a lot of people ignore the bigger bulk of the issue because, like i said, i'm in the same boat. But that doesn't make me "jump" into it right away. as i believe world-coice is "sacred" in the KH series. I always saw there was a lot of reason behind not seeing Pixar in KH.
  4. I suppose i can understand this one some-what....but i mean, i would like someone to tell me what their hype is based on. Really, this was more of an excuse for everyone to really tell me what they expect out of BH8, and it looks like not many people expect much at all....it sounds more like just because its in there, it's a free pass. I remember back when Birth by Sleep was around, there was some worry that the worlds would be too similar. Granted they made each world significantly different. Here i'm more worried about what San Fransokyo itself has to offer as a "world" more than just another story with Disney. (ALSO KEEP IN MIND: i personally believe that PIxar should be nowhere near Kingdom Hearts series. I love all Pixar movies, but they never felt Disney like in my eyes as it relies more heavily on the western culture. While Disney had always focused more on other cultures. So to me, San Fransokyo is the middle ground for japanese and americans to have their own, lack luster of magic world.
  5. When you play kingdom hearts you instantly see who owns what. Yes, Disney owns the series. As in the name. Although there are multiple aspects to it. SE actually does own rights to the characters they designed. Which is why you see less of Disney character figures and more kh original coming I of SE at least in terms of merchandise. Any promotional work based on films isn't directly from them and are concept work.
  6. Now I'm not saying I don't enjoy Big Hero 6 (although the movie should've just been called baymax) But I was amongst the few who didn't want it in kh series. One of my biggest reasons for that is the lack of defining features. The world is really just a regular urban city resembling some of Tokyo and some of San Francisco (although you can clearly tell Tokyo isn't dominating). I would've preferred Baymax as a summon simply because he's best suited at it. He's a fighter and a healer. He can heal sora or sora can ride him as a form of attack. But I personally think it's a waste of a world in y honest opinion. There is probably only one particular area that stood out in the film. But other than that I don't play kh to go to a modern urban city with barely advance tech. I just want to understand the "hype". Enemy wise, that masked man most likely won't return since it was confirmed that this will take place after. And since all he did was to save his daughter, bringing him back would be pointless. So really the more you look at big hero 6 world, the less there is. Anything that I can see doesn't seem to fit KH and more of a Big Hero 6 game on it's own.
  7. the cornerstone of light is used to protect the light of the world. It doesn't necessarily mean that there is only one
  8. I just want it to end for good. Short and sweet while having a good impression is more than enough. Its already near the long and bitter
  9. It really does look like just background considering absolutely no focus was given. Lets not forget that there is also a calendar and other design. The room lso looks significantly larger.
  10. If that's the case.. why is there still concepts with how the nature of it all works? Thats a problem with the series....it tries to mix technicalities to excuse one time exceptions all while pretending it's an ethereal design by the universe.
  11. I personally wouldn't mind Halloween town again. In kh1 it had special design to give it that stop motion appearance, in kh3 that design can be further emphasized. I would like Milan to have a second chance but considering the art direction the series had...I doubt it
  12. One of the very fundamental flaws some fans choose to ignore. The very problem is that they are designed to be incomplete. Being able to function through body, soul, and memories (which I will debate about it if one tries to say memories = heart) and gaining new hearts. I can easily say this: i believe marluxia and larxene didnt want to gain their hearts back idk if it was in the novel. So we could see them with completely different personas.
  13. I will say in kh2 at least final mix version, keyblades mattered regardless of stats. Of course not all we're super strong and some we're pointless and even ugly in design but when u fight org. 13 in data, you need the right keyblade. I'm happy that leveling up keyblades is coming back. Kh coded had a good idea there but hopefully in kh3 it is refined
  14. The simple answer for alternate dimension is more on what happens when they don't have the same origin because they are in a completely different setting. Yes, it's a cameo. But not one that is Canon to ff7
  15. The plan was to bring them back some way...but whether they'll be lights, who knows. Considering their just an extension of soda, maybe not.
  16. Personally it's not exactly a film I would like...but I'm in the very tip of the minority. Some may even say I'm not a fan but to me this film felt like a pixar movie and for the longest time, Kingdom Hearts (to me) was the ultimate division of what made Disney "Disney" and what made Pixar "not Disney". The sky scene looks fun, but San fransokyo to me just doesn't have that "magic" and neither does the incredibles. in fact, those films tend to favor for the dc/marvel comic book enthusiasts more than those directed toward Disney fans. Each world has felt like a sense of "wonder" and beauty. San fransokyo looks epic, but doesn't feel like a world to me. To me this is equivalent to soda meeting spider man and his world. When I saw that screen shot, I immediately said "the old kingdom hearts is dead"
  17. I was disappointed in what is actually there. The whole "big hero 6" world was a big disapointment. It really shows me, this KH game is going to be the "fandom" kh game. But i was also disapointed in that we couldn't get more information on KHUX.
  18. Am i the only one who saw and said "this looks nothing like kingdom hearts"? I personally dont mind that the series is getting more serious, but it definitely losing its magic touch, i suppose the attraction flow and keyblade transformations is there to make up for it. but i have yet to see a Disney world that looks like its original counterpart other than the latest worlds. But olympus coleseum so far isn't making me feel at ease.
  19. If you want to know more. i'll gladly respond in PM. but i assure you, i have no contradictions. its just a simple misunderstanding in what i'm actually saying.
  20. and suddenly, i find the very audience that knows whats going on. although
  21. Never officially confirmed hearts were merged, in fact there is no confirmed answer for Ael. only theories. Merging of hearts is a theory that is widely accepted, but NOT confirmed. But if you have something against the theory of body/soul also can be made up of memories, then i'm happy to hear your counter argument. But if you have one. if you don't. Then please make it clear you don't.
  22. I"m being polite. i request you do the same. Otherwise, there is a secondary option.....You have your opinion i have mine. I am in no way trying to belittle yours, so i "respectfully" request that you don't belittle mine. Now its only a theory.....so its not that its ignoring what was ssaid but new information being done. Just like "Merging hearts" of original and nobody is a theory one is willing to accept despite never seeing it. The explanation of how Namine exist is based on "Memories". If you think about it, it sort of makes sense since Namine was born in "Castle Oblivion"
