  1. they cold just summarize both films into one, the only thingt hey can avoid is making Jack go in the other world, or start at world's end.
  2. Agreed for Alpha Baymax, for such a movie, this could've happened if it was in Dream Drop Distance. But unfortunately it didn't. Although a lot of medieval/reinasance worlds were in Bith by Sleep, there wee key areas that made them different. Can you let me know what specific areas would've been unique?
  3. i was also thinking about this. Unless new information reveals that its possible for titles to interchange, then perhaps. especially since the guardians of light and seekers of darkness are interchangeable.
  4. The first world we visit or the first new world we visit? I dont remember, perhaps bringing up the quote would be best. Otherwise there would be no point of showing Sora in his original clothes.
  5. This...but Disney xfinity can have any world and it shows it has. But like for me I differentiate Disney xfinity and kingdom hearts. I think a lot of ppl Don't understand my criteria for kh worlds are even bigger than xfinity. Disney can remake a better version of black cauldron, become a success and then make it into infinity. Keep in mind infinity is for the general Disney audience. Kingdom hearts plays a big role with Disney but it's more of Square Enix using Disney than Disney using square enix (up until recently). Zootopia concept just doesn't look like a world worth bringing in when we have many more that actually have real possibilities. And to answer someone else's speechless reaction, finding memo is an underwater world but takes place in a very real setting and animals just talk and have conscience. It is equivalent to Bolt. I don't use just themes such as friendship and all that because all Disney movies focus on something like that.recently heck most animated Theatrical films will have some form of moral. So why use it s a criteria if it makes it in? I use basics: A) does it fit with the overall style of the worlds? B) is it distinguishable from Disney's developments such as Disney infinity? Epic Mickey? C)will It help with overall story?
  6. Still in favor of the original art style KH has grown with and continued to maintain since dream drop distance/re:codedcoded. But since bh6, that's all in the air. Kh 3 might as well reject everything and just go with the heavily westernizes less magical, less fantasy side and stick with zootopia, finding nemo and bolt.
  7. Again...looking for something realistic to look forward to.
  8. I'm going to assume that he meant they won't be exactly the same. Still room for deviation but for twilight town, I'm sure we'll be seeing more areas rather than changes
  9. Just admit the hype is blind if you can't give me something realistic to look forward to other than flying with baymax, which to be fair is only realistic because of the concept art shown, not because kh ever introduced such capabilities. I'm looking for game play aspects to look forward to. And people only mention things that are unlikely or things that would focus on if BH6 was a game of it's own.
  10. I believe that all worlds should be given a chance, this one? I am giving it the benefit of the doubt that it can be tolerable. But my main question was what's the main hype? I seen the movie. San Fransokyo was barely featured, and as a technical standpoint, yes it would be interesting to see a "city", but from a gameplay standpoint it seems like it will get in the way of Heartless battles. Which i'm trying to say, just because its a city, we wont see it to it's full potential because Kingdom Hearts isn't about that. I think the bigger problem is that, people weren't trying to. People just sort of thought it was a place to say their own and be done with it. I mean you have to admit, some of the answers are really open ended and not that grounded into whats really possible.
  11. Bringing yokai back would be a waste and since it takes place after, it's best to not ruin his character by giving him some weird reason to come back
  12. Exploring a world is great....but what exactly is to explore? The love for the film is a valid reason, but obviously if you are responding to someone who doesn't see the hype regardless if they enjoyed it or not, doesn't that mean you should be looking deeper than what that person already sees? I mean I'm looking for something more.....if you can't see or understand that, perhaps don't come in here expecting me to say "oh thank you. I see now".
  13. Its hypocritical of one to claim one is ignoring other peoples point (which I gave clear response to as much just to prove that I am listening) when you yourself aren't responding in similar matter. Look, the thread was started by me in efforts to seeing if the community can convince me with what is realistic about BH6that deserves the hype. I mean most of it comes from love of the movie itself more than what we will actually be seeing in game.
  14. Honestly, his outfit in kh1 was the most defined. One of the things I miss most is the chain he where'd on his side. Now he looks way too symmetrical even in kh2 that was a problem. I doubt anyone wanted less color. But I would've preferred a little more. He looks like he's trying to make everything match.
  15. Like everyone said. Once Upon a Time was a TV series and not even a popular one at that. If it was popular and every one knew about it, then yes..let's also keep in mind that the series focuses on other Disney stories.
  16. OK here's the thing.....in this thread....the only thing they've stated was the super obvious. Honestly the one and only thing that was mentioned was riding baymax or fighting with him. But no one really bothered to mention what we will be playing in San fransokyo. They really haven't.....all they've stated was that it was going to be refreshing. And due to more capabilities of the platform they will be able to do more. But what exactly is "more" what are you imagining? Keep in mind, BH6 is one of Amy worlds we should be seeing. Lets not assume this particular world will have more attention than any other world. So realistically, what are you all expecting out of a BH6 world "SPECIFICALLY" outside of just visuals. We have baymax riding/party member...I refuse to think that BH6 will have more attention than any other world. I would like something a lot more realistic. I would like to think we would fight the other characters in big hero 6, but history on kh games tell me other wise. I would like to thinkthink we will have Key landmarks just like many Disney worlds before, but seems like most fans have considered San fransokyo city only, and that to me makes me limited to what I expect OK it of Se to put into KH.
  17. He'd be the only one from a ff spin off. I think it would be odd since there is already a card based character. I wouldn't mind just having all ff character returning.
  18. I'm not ashamed of having an opinion and looking at it from a different perspective than you. I see beyond. To me not all Disney films or anything labeled with Disney should make it in.What are you expecting exactly out of San Fransokyo? You all say you expect things but no one really says it to justify the hype. I get itI, we will be going to a Tokyo/San fransisco-eque world with a hint of cartoon style. Which in my eyes is nothing more than that. In fact, when I watched BH6, the world itself didn't have much focus on San fransokyo itself. It was mostly background. There was only 2 scenes that really gave it some attention, the car-chase and flying scene. Most of BH6 was in rural areas or abandoned warehouse and then in another dimension. Overall....it will be visually amusing (breathe taking will depend on what time of the day which I assume it will be daylight since most of the film took place in the day). but I was asking what aspects of game play do you expect? The fact that it won't take from the original plot is no big news..it was more of a light confirmation, not a grand announcement...and honestly taking place after the movie or during, it's no big difference in my eyes. Its not like we needed it to be confirmed anyways. Look at the screenshot, it already deviates so much for OK me the original plot wise to be considered different. And it's not like KH ever followed a plot word for word anyways. Their majestic in their own right but theres a clear difference between pixar and disney animation. And the KH series so far has highlighted it perfectly. Although I know majestic is pushing it for all of them. I wouldn't necessarily call the incredible "majestic" or Inside Out. I like to think regardless of what I enjoyed the films or not, if their a good fit for the series isn't. I encourage people to show all of Disney animation (not collaborated with other producers such as toaster"the brave little toaster") on one side and show all of Pixar animation and see the culture clash between. I think most people accepted it as Disney, but visuals don't liem
  19. Some answers didn't really try to justify it. Some we're flat out honest and said they didn't know. But most felt bought out. For example: San fransokyo being bigger than other films combined. How was that a great point? There were just some that just didn't really see the main point of the topic. Treasure Planet is one I hope/expect and I personally would prefer it in KH regardless if it was a movie I enjoyed just because it fits perfectly. But it was my personal example of how much.... To me BH6 being added in and announced first rather than last considering how recent the film is just tells me it was a cash out, business move more than a "this is what's best for the series" move. And considering you want pixar in KH to me shows you could want anything in KH (yet somehow not treasure planet)
  20. Played it.....one of the first kh games I regret owning. Best tojust see it in youtube
  21. The answer you're giving me isinteresting and at least more effort. But I just don't believe in that world enough. Especially since most Disney worlds don't come with too many mini games. Usually either Disney classic like Mickey and friends or kh original worlds get the most mini games. So data battles realistically isn't something there. As for themes of friendship, I can see that but since the series is already a sequel, I doubt it will have the same effect as it did in the film when he struggled to rely on friends. Not to mention that friendship is the foundation of all KH. Any world will have some form of friendship involved as a theme. So regardless, I can't see that as a main selling point unless the potential for it being most unique is there. So you're right, I'm still not hyped for it. My biggest hype for treasure planet however is the fact that it's been available for Disney. Its not like pixar where it's foreign in KH. The wait has been much much longer than for BH6 because it wasn't that long ago that it was released. (and I know BH6 isn't pixar, but the concept of pixar films and BH6 are practically synced). Its a world we "should've" seen....and if we do finally get to see it. Whether abridged story or sequel or original, it still worthy of the series.
