  1. I don't want a conference full of talking but I neither want a conference that just consists of trailers. Then they don't need to bother cwlling it a press conference because it's like those YT videos which are a compilation of what comes out this year and next. Don't get me wrong, there's nothing wrong with those kinds of things, I just don't see why they would need to rent a big room for that and not even take the time to talk a little bit once in awhile.
  2. I really hope SE will have their own Press Conference at E3 this year if Sony plans to repeat last year. That was atrocious to watch because it was only a line-up of trailer after trailer and not even a conference...

I also have to pay customs and 19% tax on it,which will likely put me at 250€. I really hope it's worth it and looks as it should.

Same here, though shipping will take a moment due to holidays for mine. The shipping costs were hella expensive...
  5. I don't think this will be hated. To be honest, if they would want to include Marvel, I'd rather they do it this way as a secret boss than a world. Though I guess if anyone knew Thanos got beaten by a teenager with a giant key, he'd never get to live that shame down.
  6. I really wish for a late 2018 release. Currently, everyone seems to be under the impression the game is as good as done, but I still think the models need some work if D23 information and Young Xehanort and even the darker Xemnas model is anything to go by and we still haven't seen anything of BH6 or the other missing worlds yet. It feels like it's on a really good way to completion but still needs time.
  7. You're welcome (although I didn't do much )!
  8. Uh, it's always a bit hard to give advice without knowing what medals you have, but if you have Kairi or Xion EX and/or one of the new stained glass medals, there should be nothing to worry about. If you don't have them, I'll really try pulling for one of the new medals.
  9. And I'd recommend looking up the test sheets if you want to play as a specific pokemon. It may take a few tries with that since not every question is asked but if you want to be a certainnone it's better than blindly guessing.
  10. Also, Explorers of Sky belongs to the 2nd Generation basically and remedies a few of the issues the first Mystery Dungeon had in terms of gameplay and structure. But since they're not connected, you can start with those without a problem. The entries after that have lost a little of their charm in my opinion and didn't manage to captivate me as much. They're still passable and all but the feeling wasn't there as much as the first two.
  11. I agree. Gen V had especially considered an aspect which neither of its predecessors had:involving the gym leaders. It had always struck me as odd that all thsse trainers would not help out or try and interfere with such malicious plan. Personally, thd first two batches of games are my favorite and the best in my opinion is Explorers of Sky. It adds a little more to Darkness/Time while still keeping the story the same and the story had me engrossed. I really cried too.
  12. I'm still rather emotional when the franchise is concerned and can't just let it go because it's part of my life and has been for a majority of it. That's why I believe it would be nice to develop the plot a little more in a future title for those who'd like that. They don't even have to change the system itself. It should still be Pokemon after all. But Mystery Dungeon managed a capivating plot as well and I'd like the main series to do the same.
  13. It's fine. I apologize as well. My dry responses often cause misunderstandings. It really wasn't meant as an attack on you or the people liking the franchise or even the main games themselves. It's just that my interest shifted more toward plot-based games over the years and Pokemon rather maintained a direction based on connection and competition. Which is totally fine but also disappointing because I feel a lot of potential from the plot going to waste.
  14. Pokemon works with the formula "never change a running system" and if it sells and people are content with that, it's fine. But looking at how much it developed in comparison to other series is despondent, it is not fine with me anymore. Please don't accuse other people of not doing their research just because they're dissatisfied with the progression of the franchise. I'm just not interested in the competitive aspect and the plots failed to reel me in.
  15. in Sun/Moon and that bothers me,quite frankly. It's not even that they don't have the potential, they clearly do,but something stops them from utilizing it and thus making the main games shallow under the pretense of wanting to remain kid-friendly and never going beyond the all audiences tag. It's just my opinion but it has nothing to do with lack of research. I've grown up with this series for nearly 20 years now and I'm just disappointed.
  16. exploration isn't present. If you like the games, that's great for you and it's just my subjective opinion, but almost every spin-off contained a more substantial plot than the main games and that is an issue for me because I hate that a majority of the game is spent going from one gym/trial to the next with a few encounters with the antagonists here and there but that's virtually it. Heavy topics such as child abuse are extremely terribly conveyed
  17. I played every single game ever since the original. This has nothing to do with me not doing research but simply being disappointed with the direction these games are going. The gameplay has barely changed in the past 20 years with just a few changes made here and there but essentially, it's stillt he same. The game is ideal for people who want to play a competitive game against other players, no questions asked. But apart from that

I wouldn't put that much thought into it either. "Soon" is a very ooen term and in comparison to the roughly last five years of development, a few more months, even December, could be considered soon. I mean, we are close to May now.
  19. Admittedly, the games have been the same over and over again and the lack of story don't make them more appealing. However, the true RPG comment is stupid. It has always been an RPG, but the main games now fail to be interesting by recycling the same old formula. I don't know if Nintendo prevents them from incorporating more story since the potential is there but a remake won't solve this.
  20. I agree with Noctis here. If they don't plan on revealing anything for years, they should have saved the announcement for later. Such practice is the reason fans are complaining they are waiting for such a long time, although in KH3's case it wasn't that long at all for a large game. Still, staying silent for such a long time is not really effective marketing. People rather get frustrated this way than hyped. It is worrying, too if they have nothing to show.
  21. FFVIIR however is left extremely in the dark in comparison and is somewhat more comparable to FFXV in terms of development. It is still odd because its nature is episodic and one would suspect thst the first episode had something to show for it at this point. Even FFXV had the occasional trailer. Then again, since expectations are always very high for remakes, they may just have decided to show more when they were absolutely certain it won't disappoint.
  22. Just that KH3 was clear from the get go that we won't get it anytime soon. Large games which cannot resort to copy and paste anymore usually need 3-5 years of development. When it was announced 2013 with a "now in development", it should have been clear that it wasn't going to come out anytime soon, especially with the engine switch in 2014. All things considered, the updates have still been fairly frequent and it's still within the estimated time frame.
  23. A public demo could also appear earlier. Getting to play it first doesn't necessarily mean that much of a difference. I'd suspect a public demo to be made more widely available than just TGS, like with 0.2. That was available at so many conventions/expos that having KH3 appear only on one occasion would kinda be a waste in my opinion. If there is even a demo to begin with.
  24. Yeah and additionally, we haven't seen much of the game these past years, which would be odd if the game is really that far along in some aspects. I mean, it is episodic so it's no surprise thst they would hire more people, but currently it seems more like FFXV. Another thing is that in an interview way back theyonce said it woukd take them over 10 years to do the remake. Maybe that wasn't too far-fetched.
  25. provide a small demo. On the other hand, getting to play it early could also mean that they simply get their copies earlier. Hard to tell what early means in this case. Or was there some new information I missed out on in the meantime? I didn't follow that much further.... Still, I think you definitely have a good point there. At least it makes sense to me.
