KH3: Secret bosses
CrystalRaine replied to xXMikey1stXx's topic in Kingdom Hearts III & Kingdom Hearts III Re Mind
Not saying it'll ever happen, but I don't think we should rule it out completely, since it's been considered in the past. -

Gargoyles was planned to be a world in KH1. There's every possibility that a TV show will be featured in the series at some point. -

According to Takayuki Kawasaki, territory manager for Epic Games Japan, a lot of Japanese-developed games are being ported to Nintendo Switch, including many already-announced titles. Do you think one of those games could be Kingdom Hearts III? Considering Dragon Quest XI is also headed for the Switch, it's looking more and more likely that Kingdom Hearts 3 could have a chance to be ported to the platform as well. http://nintendoeverything.com/many-unreal-engine-built-games-on-the-way-to-switch-rep-says/

KHUX Where SE NA went wrong with KHUχ
CrystalRaine replied to kingofnowhere's topic in Kingdom Hearts - General
For the people telling us to stop complaining, what exactly is wrong with demanding that we get given the same experience as the Japanese version? There is absolutely no excuse for withholding Mickey and Brooms medals, reducing the number of log-in Jewels, making free Coliseum outfits premium Jewel Boards, and removing permanent daily Jewel Challenges. It's pure greed, plain and simple. I only really play the Japanese version now, it's much more fun and the English version just feels like a chore. -

I wouldn't worry, Square Enix isn't having a press conference this year, so they're releasing trailers of some games prior to E3 - they're probably saving their higher profile games (FFXV/VII KH3) for Sony's conference on Monday. I think if 2.8 was the only Kingdom Hearts game they were showing, they would have saved it for the event itself. I have a feeling they're going to surprise us with a full, story based trailer, maybe with a gameplay demonstration and release window at Sony's press conference. The hype is way too big for them to stop the momentum now.

It means that the enemy will take less damage from attacks with that particular attribute - for instance, if there is a red shield, the enemy has higher defense from Power attacks, and the same for Speed and Magic. If it flashes all three, then it means it has a Power, Speed and Magic defense. The only way to override it is to use Black Coat Mickey's special attack (which deals non-elemental damage) or use an Alice medal to get rid of it.

I'm not as optimistic that we're going to get much info at this year's E3; Square Enix is not having a conference this time around, and I think their priority this year will be 2.8, seeing as how that's coming out in a few months time, and features an all new playable title that they'll most definitely want to show off. I'm just holding out on them revealing a long, story-based trailer, and possibly a gameplay demonstration, at Sony's press conference, but FFXV and VII remake will probably take precedence. Either that, or they'll release a trailer online and talk about it at Square Enix Presents, but I think 2016 is 2.8 and Unchained X's year, and 2017 will be when KH3 can finally have its time in the spotlight. I wouldn't put it past Square to release the first full, story based trailer with the Hikari instrumental at one of the Japanese events instead, like TGS or Jump Festa. Either way, I'm cautiously optimistic, seeing as KH3 is one of Square's most anticipated games, but everyone assumed that in 2014, and all we got a small teaser and the year was solely promo for 2.5, so I'm a bit nervous, and after what happened at D23 Japan, I don't want to set myself up for disappointment.

KHUX Adding on to the Rebirth Theory
CrystalRaine replied to Salve-SiS's topic in Kingdom Hearts - General
Dude, the names are literally all based on the seven deadly sins, it's not even up for debate at this point. And btw, I'm an atheist from the UK, so your assessment is quite inaccurate -
KHUX Adding on to the Rebirth Theory
CrystalRaine replied to Salve-SiS's topic in Kingdom Hearts - General
The Foretellers are already undoubtedly based on the Seven Deadly Sins, why would it be a stretch to assume the other characters (assuming the rebirth theory is true) represent the seven virtues? -
A lot of people, myself included, are hoping a world based on The Black Cauldron will be included in Kingdom Hearts III, but many have had reservations that it will ever be included due to it being Disney's biggest financial failure. However, I read today that Disney has recently purchased the rights to 'The Chronicles of Prydain', the book series by Lloyd Alexander which The Black Cauldron is loosely based on.The movie is already a cult favourite, and this reboot they're working on will most certainly garner interest in the original. Do you think this could impact the likelihood of there being a Black Cauldron world?
