There won’t be a “2.9” after Kingdom Hearts HD 2.8, and it’ll go straight to Kingdom Hearts III after. As Mickey is telling the flashback from directly after dream drop, but the flashback itself takes place after Birth By Sleep and runs parallel with the ending of KH1. Why on earth would 2.8 cause backlash? It was necessary. DDD NEEDED to be on PS4 because it's a sequel to KH2 and the prequel to KH3? 0.2 is a KH3 demo that fills in the 'plotholes' you dislike so much and Back Cover also does this but leaves some questions for KH3 and UX season 2 to answer. It has been stated in many KH3 synopsis' such as the old one on the website and by Nomura himself that Riku and Mickey were going to the ROD during KH3. So we knew this years ago.

After 6 years in development, KH3 is finally here. You eagerly anticipate the release day, staying up for the midnight release and then you sprint home on a dog because walking is for suckers. You run, you grab your doritos and you throw that disc like a frisbee into the PS4. You play for days, weeks on end, exploring San Fransokyo, Kingdom Of Corona, Mt Olympus, Radiant Garden, Twilight Town and like 12 other worlds. You fight many gigantic heartless and nobodies, have a showdown with the SOD in the second 1000 heartless battle in RG. You rescue Aqua, you invade Castle Oblivion like a fearless b*strd and find Ventus, you rescue Roxas, you rescue Terra Sora becomes a monster by the end, flowmotioning off of cliffs and doing 360 noscopes air dives whilst doing keyblade transformations in the middle of the ozone layer and then casting Firaja and blowing up Olympus Coliseum. You've heard countless tales about the times of old when people used to battle for Lux and clash in the epic keyblade war. You've taken them all on, after 15 years of battling Xehanort, Xehanort's cousin, Xehanort's dad, Xehanort's cat's auntie's nobody's heartless cousin who set up an organization to make people do something he could have done himself- you make it to Yen Sid's tower for a meet up with the Guardians Of Light one last time before the climactic war. Axel and Roxas fight Xemnas, Kairi fights her shadow because she's useless, Riku fights Ansem and gives him a speech about darkness for the 50900505th time, Vanitas fights Ventus again, Aqua fights Terranort to free Terra because of plot, Namine draws in her book, Donald and Goofy fight some Disney villain because they can't do anything else and Sora is just slicing through waves of heartless like a demi God. Lingering Will rises from out the grave and beats the shit out of Xehanort and then the other SOD fight everyone, but Sora starts fighting Xehanort and then fights the Lingering Will and Xehanort is all like 'mwaahahahahahahahahah the x blade is forged now I win'. Xehanort picks up the X-blade, stabs Sora in the chest and Sora explodes into a million pieces, Riku shows up but Braig just shoots him in the back and Kairi just screams 'SORA KUN' and then collapses. Xehanort laughs, he laughs some more and then laughs again, he stabs Braig and then just kills all his associates. He descends into the air and heads towards Kingdom Hearts, but he realises his grave mistake "Fk i forgot my wallet". He takes the elevator back down to get his wallet and then comes back up, he sees the clouds moving out the way and paving a path for his ascension. A holy light shines in his face and he looks down on Donald's dead corpse on a spit fire. On a cloud inside Kingdom Hearts, an unknown figure stands peering over the edge, he picks xehanort up and stabs him with a keyblade. "Wow that was easy"-Ray Chase voice

Remember that Braig is already half Xehanort in DDD and Skuld has Xehanort's eyes. Skuld and Ephemera (due to the silver hair) could very well be distant relatives of Xehanort and hence Braig could time travel backwards. However there are a few things wrong with this theory still, if Braig went back in time he'd have to abandon his body first and then seek a vessel when he gets to the time of Chi/Unchained Chi. Who would this vessel be? Second, this would literally mean that Braig was responsible for Xehanort receiving a keyblade since he set Luxu off down the set path. But I do have something to add Perhaps the Foretellers knew what the MoM looked like originally but Braig used the MoM as a vessel after time travelling. He took the Org 13 coat with him and keeps it up to mask his appearance as his true looks aren't exactly that of the master.

I'd say the day of the 15th anniversary (1.5+2.5's European release on the 31st of March) is when they may drop a screenshot or some info. But just wait until E3, they skipped having their own conference last year so they'll probably have one this year. People keep mentioning MAGIC in February but Nomura stated himself that he was only invited to give a presentation of his career in the industry. I'll link it here in a moment. That's only an opening ceremony for the anniversary. So don't get your hopes too high.

Just a friendly reminder that Square Enix is hosting an event for Final Fantasy's 30th anniversary on the 31st of January. News sites are vague so I'm unsure whether it is Japan's 31st or our 31st. Either way it's at 5pm JST in Roppongi Hills Japan and it's not being live-streamed either sadly. This is also the 20th anniversary of Final Fantasy 7, but keep expectations low as usual.

Why would it relate to Square Enix Japan lol. I expect this to be some Hitman PS4 style crap where you have to wait for episodes and I won't be surprised if the games are crammed with micro-transactions.

How is anyone thirsty for news? That accusation is mediocre. That poll is so horrible I almost think it's a parody.

Obviously I'm not saying anything is 100% confirmed, but they both posted at the exact same time. The only Square Enix game even associated with Marvel is Kingdom Hearts and that is because of Disney. I'd say it's either some medal thing for UX or a KH3 concept art/world reveal. Who knows.

Good! It sounds like it's balanced then if you can't abuse one thing. Lmao Nomura has a habit of this though. When KH2 came out although the reviews were extremely positive people said it was too easy. Then when they made the Final Mix they added critical and pretty much all KH fans consider KH2FM's critical to be the most difficult mode on any KH game. People complained fairly (as did I) about BBS and DDD being way too easy, now he created 0.2's critical which is super difficult! This will be fun!

So BBS and DDD are too easy and now 0.2 is too difficult? I haven't played 0.2 yet though. Is 0.2 cheap difficult like you can just spam one thing (thunder surge for Mysterious Figure for example) or like good difficult.

This is the final chapter prologue, it's meant to leave questions so that they can be answered in KH3. The story was very straightforward and really well written imo. Nomura did great here and this is coming from a so called 'KH hater'. If they answered everything then Unchained Chi season two would be pointless. It did end quite oddly but that's the point.

So, 2.8 is out now everywhere ofc. The only new content that is left is KH3. The final chapter prologue is finished and the stage is set! The 1.5+2.5 HD disc will prepare everyone again in advance but it's not new material or anything. How do you all feel? Are you ready? It'll be a long wait... Remember not to spoil 0.2 and BC without using the tags!!

Where's Sora and Riku or Aqua? Damn Disney.
