lol thank you. It was also in BBS and Re:Coded as well. Don't get me wrong, I was so excited and delighted to actually see it said so directly in that last trailer, but yeah, so many people acted like it was a new thing.

Been a while since I posted here! And now I (briefly) return with a side project I just finished, a scoodie (scarf + hoodie) based on Kairi's KH3 outfit! Or, you know. I like to believe that artwork was indeed her KH3 outfit. EITHER WAY, I thought it was adorable and I wanted to own it, so yeeee I will now be cozy all winter! (And if KH3 drops during the cold season, one day, you can bet I'll be wearing this as I wait outside the store at the crack of dawn, lol.) I'm also selling them in my shop here if anyone's interested!

we can only see the left side of his jacket here, which is black, as it is in canon. The sleeve and bottom have white trim, as they do in canon, and you can see his vest at the bottom and what looks like his black undershirt on his chest. it's most definitely Ven, lol.

this. And his clothes are very obviously Ven's, not Roxas', and contrary to the post's claim it is NOT a new outfit. he's missing his chest strap, master symbol, and spaulder, but that's definitely his jacket.

Yeah, my party usually splits into teams of 3 or 4 now to cover multiple bosses. It just takes a lot longer for every person you lack, of course. -

...See, THIS is a real raid boss. Difficult in general and impossible without a team. CHALLENGE ACCEPTED. Six people can take it down in about 15 minutes. Beating one boss lets you clear about 80% of one avatar board, so it's not that bad. I get about 60k lux per boss, assuming I take out his weakspots only twice, so the lux payout during double hour will be insane. -
I can't even pick a favorite because these are all so perfect. "Even though we've gotten a new game nearly every year, I'm STILL going to complain that we don't have KH3!" was gold, though. Sky knows where it's at.

1) Already own a PS4 so there's no way I'm buying another 2) I am very salty about Microsoft, so no 3) the NX has yet to appeal to me but it's the only other system on this list I've heard of so NX it is! 8D -
It's not a word, strictly speaking. But it's more masculine sounding, so maybe that's what they were going for? Don't care either way, personally, but now I'm wondering if it's "ih-FEM-er" or "IH-fem-er." Screw it, he's just gonna be Little E to me until Back Cover drops and confirms the pronunciation.

I might throw my betting money towards Cam Clarke as Unicornis' VA. I know KH normally avoids popular VAs, but he was already in the series as Simba, so... Other than that I have no idea who it could be, lol

I can agree with that wholeheartedly. It's not the fandom as a whole, but I've been raged at plenty of times for simple opinions. it's a sad thing.

If it's any consolation, I didn't make the post to "calm people down" or reassure anybody (although even if I did, I don't see why this should bug anyone). I made it because I thought it was an interesting twist that may very well happen and I was curious if anyone had any points to add, or even any legitimate rebuttals. Even if it's NOT canon in the end, I still enjoy discussing these possibilities because it's fun, and I'm now really fond of this possibility. Also, let's break this retcon business down, as defined by Google: retcon: a piece of new information that imposes a different interpretation on previously described events, typically used to facilitate a dramatic plot shift or account for an inconsistency. Just because nothing has pointed to the characters having relations to the Foretellers doesn't mean it's a retcon. A retcon would be if something previously said that they are NOT related to the Foretellers in any way, or if some piece of information existed against which this theory could be contrasted to say "oh, look! this is a contradiction!" The theory isn't a contradiction, it's a plot development. The word "retcon" is used much too loosely these days and rarely in the right context. The Ansem thing can't be a retcon, either, IMO, because there's nothing in earlier canon to contradict it; it was a development.

We don't know the entire X story, so it's a bit of a stretch to say anything's "grasping" at this point. We don't know all the details or how it'll turn out, so it's equally unfair to assume Square does or doesn't care, especially when this whole plot is very much Nomura's baby and he's spent 12 games and 15 years leading up to this conclusion. Every plot element he introduces has had a point, or presumably will in KH3, and I doubt the undeniable similarities between the Foretellers and modern characters are a coincidence. There ARE no coincidences in this series, although of course that doesn't automatically point to reincarnation, as I said above. And I'm honestly curious, how is this theory retconning anything? I see a lot of complaints about Nomura's past "retcons," but I don't know of any (except the time he said that Nobodies don't age and then took that back later, but to be fair he said that in an interview, so it was technically never canonly stated).

Thanks! Haha, I've built up this idea so much now that I'm really fond of it, so if they do look just like them, I may be a little disappointed. (Although I've been a fan of this theory since I first heard of it, so more facetwins won't be a deal-breaker for me.) And agreed! After Roxas and Ven, especially, (and Kairi/Xion/Namine) I would think it's obvious that Nomura doesn't just "duplicate" characters out of laziness or easy fanservice (whether they're literal physical copies or just something close). It's always plot relevant, so I'm not sure where all the misunderstanding and negativity about this theory come from.
