Kingdom Hearts HD 2.8 Windows 95 edition
The Deathdealer replied to Sora96's topic in Kingdom Hearts - General
It's not about overly sensitive we just want a bit of professionalism when it comes to Kingdom Hearts, at least take it somewhat seriously -
Better not gunk up the PC Version, It should have Vulkan/DX12 Support, as well as adhere to basic PC Port standards

Final Fantasy X/X-2 HD Remaster looks headed to PC
The Deathdealer replied to Sora96's topic in General Discussion
But remember they are basing on the PS4 version for the remaster coming to PC, since it's an x86 platform exactly like the PC apart from the use of GDDR5 has the system memory NOT DDR5 options like this should be possible -
I remember reading somewhere that it was a fanfiction not the actual novel http://www.p4rgaming.com/square-enix-accidentally-publishes-fanfiction-for-the-final-fantasy-x-2-5-novel/, I honestly don't think Square Enix is going to use FFX 2.5 or FFX Will in the FFX canon if anything I suspect it will be a new story with the FFX characters taking place after X-2 considering FFX 2.5 was not well received at all, and I don't know if FFX Will faired much better in terms of criticism
-
If it's X-3 then good but I hope FFX-Will doesn't factor into the story, not a big fan of Tidus blowing up. Oh and if it is an FFX-3 announcement make please SE don't just announce console versions please, don't pull a Type-0 HD/ FFXV, just be upfront about the dates I'm fine with the console version dates being before the PC versions, I'm ok with waiting as long as I get a good port you know a port with the basic features.

Final Fantasy XV Director Sends Special New Years Message
The Deathdealer replied to Tails's topic in General Discussion
Good I somewhat hope releases Q2 2016 for the PS4/XBOX ONE, then Q4 2016 announce it for the PC then Q1-Q2 2017 release it. Hopefully the port has the basic features: Unlocked framerate SLI/CrossFire Support 4K/8K Support Texture options Shadow options Anti-aliasing options -
They would have known what the specs were before hand causing them to ditch development, when they got the devkits wouldn't be relevant to this situation, because they would A. know what the specs were before they get the devkits, and B. know when they would get the devkits themselves, also can you please provide a link to your claim.

I'm not talking about when he joined the project,I'm talking about when SE were presented with the PS4/XBOX ONE SPECS in 2011. FFVS13 was going to be a PS4/Xbox One title regardless if Tabata joined or not. "For a time, a PlayStation 3 version continued development, but after a title change announcement could not be made in 2012, the shortening lifespan of the console caused concern for the company and team." after some trial and error, the PlayStation 3 was abandoned as lead platform in favor of a DirectX 11-based development structure

They knew what platform Versus was going to be on, and they had to halt because of the lack of well 1 direction, and 2. because new consoles were coming out, KH3 well was a result of the FFXV halting, stopping in their tracks whatever you want to call it to change the game development to different systems. "Due to the growing scale of the project, talks about changing Versus XIII into the next numbered entry in the series were appearing as early as 2007.[19] When Type-0, originally titled Final Fantasy Agito XIII, was renamed, and the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One were presented to Square Enix in 2011, it was decided to shift the game onto those consoles." I should also state that it was FFXV that was the reason Nomura couldn't work on KH3.. "In the Kingdom Hearts Birth by Sleep Ultimania guide book, Nomura announced three upcoming titles, one of which was Kingdom Hearts III. However, Final Fantasy XV was still his primary focus, preventing him from starting production on Kingdom Hearts III." https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Kingdom_Hearts_III https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Development_of_Final_Fantasy_XV It was 2011 not 2012.
-
I should also point out that the former president of SE said that a FF7 Remake will be made if a FF game outsells FF7, FFXV was still being made by Nomura until Habata was given the reigns because , SE wanted Nomura to work on KH3 so that we can get the game in 2017-2018 as opposed to 2022-2023, and they heard about the new consoles in 2011 probably got the devkits in that time period to, so they definitely halted off on bringing both games to the last gen hardware.
-
Yes because that is why FF Versus XIII changed development, when they said it themselves, FF Versus can't be done on the last gen consoles, and it seems like you don't know what I mean by stalled, I mean they didn't decide to make the games on the last gen consoles, regardless of the circumstances it doesn't matter, they are being made on x86 current gen systems.
-
Oh for the love of christ when did I ever say I hated the sequel, for christ's sake your level of assumptions about me are over 9000, I don't hate the sequel, in fact I'm glad they stalled on making KH3, FFXV, and the FF7 Remake for next gen the hardware in the PS3/360 is anemic, weak, and so incredibly old the games would have looked terribad, I actually like FFXIII, and FFXIII-2 while I don't think they are great, they are good regardless, but LR:FFXIII from a story standpoint I hate it, because they litterally make Lightning a Deus Ex Machina, Mary Sue, completely striping characters that were effected by the L'Cie curse of any meaning for them to just mope and wait for Lightning to save them, from a gameplay standpoint it is the best of the FFXIII series. Also when in my argument, tell me where did I say I hate sequels, no where did I say or convey I hate sequels
-
Yet all draw from the same money pool that is Square Enix yes they have several divisions to make games with, but they all draw their budget from Square Enix, a budget which could go to something else like an FFVII Remake, KH3, or FFXV, oh and I should have also said FFVII Remake, I should also add their are a myriad of reasons X-2 sold less than X, it's simple it wasn't as well received by audiences as the first one, while not outright terrible it was a dissapointment to say the least(Metacritic auidence score as an example)
-
FFXIII was the most successful one, they hype train and sales were going down hill from that point on, if FFXIII was actually a gravy train then as a whole it wouldn't make a abysmal sales it did, then the gravy train ran out of steam, so they had to pump out the obligatory last game in the trilogy as fast as they could, so they can work on FFXV, and KH3 which are much better projects that are worth more of their time to do so, then continuously make FFXIII games, because if that was the case then FFXIII-4 would be a thing, but since you obviously know the ending of LR:FFXIII that wouldn't be the case. As I don't actually care about FFXV selling or outselling FFXIII, I just want it to be a great game, because if it's not and it ends up like Duke Nukem Forever(god forbid), then I wouldn't want it on my Future-AM4/Zen based Gaming Rig
-
XIII-2, and XIII were decently received to mix FROM AN AUDIENCE STANDPOINT, Oh so Square didn't market LR: FFXIII well shows how much hype their was for that game then, when you have a high selling product, you ship to meet demands, to gain more cash in the end, so I guess the demand wasn't that high for LR:FFXIII even though the game had a much more mixed to somewhat decent reception with critics AROUND THE WORLD, than the previous installments, so I can understand why SE would want to push that out the gate, so they can focus on FFXV. FFXV reaching FFXIII wouldn't be something that would be impossible to achieve, if FFXIII stayed it's course of being a PS3 exclusive it wouldn't have broke 7 mil, it probably would have just made 5 million, just like how I predict FFXV will make AT LEAST, if the game is critically acclaimed from both an audience, and critical standpoint AROUND THE WORLD, and the marketing is good then it could break FFXIII's 7.1 million console sales, considering it is facing similar circumstance of being on two platforms, even though I wouldn't be suprised if FFXV stated it's course of being a PlayStation exclusive it would beat FFXIII if it continued it's course of being a PlayStation 3 exclusive
-
With the interest that didn't effect the movie from selling like Crap, and Ant-Man a movie with a lack of interest from selling much better, also I brought up E3 as an example for the broad of gaming news as a whole not just for FFXV, also I remember people saying to scrap FFXIII-2 considering the reaction from audiences of the first game were little bit dissapointed with the final product, and receptions were mixed for an example the PS3 score of FFXIII which claims the game is decent, , some siting it to be a bit too linear while a good game none the less, and alot of people wanted FF Versus XIII alot more than any FFXIII sequel, especially when FFXIII-2 came out which came to a decent reception from critics, and a decent to mixed reception from audience members, I should also point out any hype for Lightning Returns was destroyed when FFXV was announced for the PS4 and Xbox One, that is why both versions of LR:FFXIII failed to break 1 mil. As I said earlier and I will say again, google searches, youtube views on a trailer speaks nothing muxh of the hype or sales itself, if a game is marketed well, and has great quality it will sell, while I don't expect FFXV to make FFVII numbers, I do expect it to at least make more than the PS3 sales of FFXIII PS3 sales never said combined sales in total. I should also point out no one was actually hyped for what the Fantastic Four was like, the only thing they wanted to see out of that mess was the rights given back to Marvel, I was literally on anti-hype
-
If anything by that logic based on the amount of google searches Fantastic Four(2015) had more hype than Ant-Man, how the game sells will be based on the quality, and marketing, I'm not going to assume how well something is going to sell based on google searches or else Fantastic Four 2015 reboot should have made more money than Ant-Man, I should also point out that it is term sensitive. Hype for a game is generated from word of mouth, E3, youtubers, and other gaming outlets, you can't use google searches to determine that unless you want to tell me Final Fantasy XIII had more hype in 2015 than the Final Fantasy VII Remake
-
Yes google is the most used site, but it's gamers that are going to hyped for a game you do know this right, what you are talking about is the broad scope, I'm talking about the audience gamers in general.
-
Are you seriously talking about google trends to dicate how much hype their is for a game, a lot of people when it comes to expressing hype go to youtube for that, or IGN, or gamestop?
-
Or maybe you can give me an example
-
I definitely wouldn't call the hype low considering how long this game has been in development.
-
there are negative reviews of everything, regardless http://www.gamefaqs.com/boards/932981-final-fantasy-xv/71418328 http://telkomgaming.co.za/final-fantasy-xv-episode-duscae-demo-review/ he gave it a 75/100 and this is Duscae 1.0 http://finalfantasy.wikia.com/wiki/Final_Fantasy_XV_Episode_Duscae#Reception From the looks of it here the reviews are pretty positive.
-
considering the demo was well received I doubt that, It should at least be as good as FFX.
