    Haha, such is the way of Kingdom Hearts is it not? To be fair there were quite a few hints with Ventus making an appearance via Nomura's artworks, interviews, and the fact that we have no idea why Ventus was apprenticed to Xehanort pre-BBS. Doesn't make it any less mind boggling though. Nomura's got a thing for plot twists that come out of left field. Ah, that is true as well. I'm actually leaning towards the RoD route I posted prior, that being said I still think the pods may still potentially play a role. After all this is Kingdom Hearts we're talkin' about. Anything's game.

    ^I fancy this idea because time flows differently in the RoD as well as Aqua mentions in 2.8 that people tend to lose their sense of self in the RoD. Perhaps history will repeat itself and there will be paranoia among the five union cross leaders? That or these may play a role. As far as the χ-blade goes, your guess is as good as mine. Knowing Nomura it'll probably be something out of left field.

    I fancy the idea that the sleeping pods in Twilight Town might have played a role. Or perhaps that there was a betrayal within the five union cross leaders, and Ventus was condemned to the Realm Of Darkness (and doesn't Aqua in 2.8 say that the realm of darkness makes people lose sight of who they really are?). That and RoD is timeless. So hypothetically speaking Old McNort could have been chillin' in the RoD and come across this amnesiac/frazzled kid who has a keyblade. Just another Tuesday for Xehanort. That being said anything is fair game at this point- these are purely just ideas.

    Not gonna lie, I had no idea that this game existed until my friend Kenpachi told me to make this poll. Looks fun though! I'm all about riding the mooses myself!

    Thank you so much! Ah I used to draw with a trackpad until I got a graphic tablet- it's possible but it's a very slow process. Tedious if you will. Good luck with college!

    It's more of a attention grabbing thing really- it catches people interest with the different name so people are more likely to play it because they think it's 'a different game', but it's really just 'season 2' of khuχ. A marketing thing really. Also we get to see Nomura try to write in some other new symbolism with χ → cross. That's gonna be fun lol

    Well Cloud is among the most beloved video game characters of all time. That and getting Sora in smash would be a LEGAL mess. As AlphaBaymax said, getting the legalities of these things done is a lot more trouble than it appears at the surface. So yeah I don't really think there should be KH characters in any Nintendo series because of legalities. But if we're talking purely hypothetical aka for shits and giggles, Fire Emblem or LOZ would probably mesh the best. Or Mario Kart, that would be stellar. Pokemon best series tho
