  1. Continuing from this. http://kh13.com/forum/topic/97157-possibilities-for-a-tales-of-the-abyss-reboot/ Mohs receiving these trope categories. Broken Pedestal, Ain't to Proud to Beg, and Death by Irony (possibly). Anise having an older brother that developed a deep hatred towards their parents, Mohs, and the score. I'm not sure if it was ever mentioned that she's an only child. Shortly before the original reveal is supposed to take place, Arietta and/or Largo reveals to the rest of the party that Anise has been leaking information to Mohs. Which leads to Anise being tied up, or locked in a room to prevent Ion's death from happening. If Largo was there for Mohs' death/defeat, he mention his mother-in-law, and call her worthless for betraying him and Sylvia. Worthless as Mohs is. If Tear was there, Mohs would beg her, asking if she wouldn't leave her superior to die. Her response, "Superior, no. But you, AN EXCEPTION". After Tear sends vague visions to another version of herself, the reboot would cut to a grass plains. With post-haircut Luke and the party getting captured by a suited stranger. Most of them were arguing with each other. And they begin telling the stranger what they've been through that led to this point. So it'll be one of those "how we got here" moments. Herzog explaining his reasons for massacring Guy's family. I actually don't remember if he did in the original game. Guy, Jade and Natalia getting called out for withholding vital pieces of information. Ingobert losing the respect of his people for ordering the execution of Luke and Natalia. The ghost of Yulia appearing as a wandering spirit. Seeing how the people have become over-reliant on the score. And that she's to blame for the deaths and disasters it caused. If you have any ideas, feel free to reply.
  2. With the announcement of HD remasters of the first three Crash Bandicoot games, 3rd party appearance in Skylanders: Imaginators, and a special mini-game in Uncharted: A Thieves End. I thought that there would be an alternate retelling of the first game in movie form. And don't bring up the critics' reaction to the Ratchet & Clank movie. Not everybody has the same opinion. BTW, this is what I think a Crash Bandicoot movie would include. A combination of the original and CotT-CMMM designs. For example, Coco with the ponytail, and T-shirt. Speaking of Coco, she would be one of the main characters. To make her sudden appearance in Cortex Strikes Back more sense. The Tasmanian Islands being inhabited by anthropomorphic animals WAY long before Cortex's Evolve-O Ray plan. The movie starting at the start of summer vacation. With Crash and Tawna as High School students, and Coco as a Elementary school student. The Ninja Penguins (from Tag Team Racing) appearing as minions of Dr. Cortex. Maybe some becoming "Sumo Penguins" as a result of being blasted by the Evolve-O Ray. Ripper Roo, Koala Kong, Pinestripe being volunteers for the Evolve-O Ray. What they originally were, I mostly didn't have time to think about. But I think Ripper Roo would start out as a British gentleman that spends his spare time reading books. Nina Cortex appearing as one of the secondary antagonists. Assisting her uncle in his evil scheme. Start out with organic hands, and wearing fingerless gloves. Until midway through the film, her hands will be crushed by at least one boulder during Crash's battle with Koala Kong. Von Clutch being pictured on posters, newspaper articles, or on a news report. The two chicken men from Tag Team Racing appearing as secondary characters. That's All I got.
  3. I think Nomura was talking about worlds that originated from Final Fantasy games (like Lost TIme).
  4. The worldwide release revelation is a surprise. Anyone recognize the voices for the Back Cover part?
  5. I see him as a doormat that rarely tries to understands things for himself. And like Terra, he doesn't know how to handle strangers. If KHIII includes the world of Frozen, I bet Anna's relationship with Hans (someone she just met) will remind Sora of himself.
  6. I like to see a new magic element that will force enemies (except bosses) to dance. Kinda like the Groovitron from the Ratchet & Clank series.
  7. If Tales of the Abyss DOES get rebooted, how do you think Anise will react if someone says "I know who you are" to her?

Then which characters do you think would say "I know who you are" to her?

What a coincidence. I too think that Asch would be one of the few characters that already know about Anise's secret. The others are most likely to know are Tear, and Arietta. Jade would probably become suspicious that there's a mole in the party, and figure out who it is by himself. The point in time where he becomes suspicious, around the time where he runs into Guy, Tear, and post-haircut Luke.

  8. Probably because the popularity of Kid Icarus increased due to Super Smash Bros. Brawl. BTW, some (if not most) of the differences I listed are inspired by The Walking Dead (topic of Lee's past), Mortal Kombat 9, and maybe Tales from the Borderlands. And I like to see this exchange in a private conversation between Asch and Anise. Asch: I know who you are, Anise. And I know you're spying for Mohs. So if anything happens to Guy, or Natalia, you watch your back. Otherwise I might tell everyone along the way, the truth about you. Maybe the group your spying on, included. Anise: You wouldn't. Asch: I would. Anise: (laughs uncomfortably) Of course I'll make sure nothing happens to these two. And I won't tell Mohs that you know my secret. Partially inspired by Shark Tale.
  9. Its been years. I don't think Tales of the Abyss will get a sequel.
  10. If the classic game, Tales of the Abyss gets a reboot, I like to say a few things it might include. My memory is "a little hazy", so I'm basing information from its TV tropes page. For any reason, Tear from the original game sending vague visions to herself in a parallel timeline. She might receive the visions at the point where she breaks into the fon Fabre manor. Because of the visions, Tear will share the role of main protagonist with Luke. Not to mention that she'll interpret them as technically predictions of the future. Make pre-haircut Luke SLIGHTLY less jerkish than he was in the original game. Tear's vision induced actions will cause the people to abandon the score much earlier. Upon arrival at Akzeriuth, Tear will suggest evacuating the people, because of a vision of its destruction. Because of this, nobody was killed or injured. And Van and/or Asch will question how most of the party knew when to evacuate the inhabitants. The party will hold Tear partially responsible for Akzeriuth's destruction. Because she wouldn't tell them why she was trying to assassinate Van. Jade would have a bit more personality than in the original game. And that means less sarcasm. Anise's status as a spy for Mohs would be revealed much earlier. What happens to her family spreads like gossip. So a few (if not some) characters will privately tell her "I know who you are". Namely, Tear, Asch, Arietta, and possibly Jade, before the entire party learn that. That would be one of the differences between the original and reboot. A private conversation between Tear and Anise would cause a vision of Ion dying shortly after the entire party learning the latter's secret. Asch would be a little hostile towards Anise, since he knows her secret. Threatens to tell everyone he comes across the truth about her, if anything happens to Guy or Natalia. Tear at some point would completely lose faith in Mohs. Saying either "I don't know why I keep justifying your actions... you're nuts". "I don't know why I thought it would be a good idea to work for you. But that's a mistake I won't make again". And if he's defeated by either getting imprisoned, left for dead, or killed, she might respond to him begging for his life with this. "Bringer of prosperity, no. You, YES". Continuing from above, Mohs might lose his good publicity once EVERYBODY see's him for what he is. To the point where he loses the respect of his soldiers. Guy may confront Herzog about his family's death. And maybe ask if it's because the score said so, or if it was personal. That's all I got. Feel free to post your ideas on what differences the reboot might include.
  11. I sincerely doubt the third one. If you remember the events of KHII, that would only cause distrust. BTW, I would like to see Kairi scold Sora and Riku for trusting Lea.
  12. A thought occurred to me recently. Remember when Uncharted: Drake's Fortune got shifted to "survival horror" for a couple chapters? What if Kairi's possible appearance shifts KHIII's genre to a mix of stealth and puzzle solving? Considering that she's pretty much a weaker fighter. ... And the only enemies we saw her take our were Shadows. How I picture it, Kairi would use her surroundings to hide from the larger (albeit more powerful) enemies. Magic can be used to distract enemies, take out enemies that are the opposite element (which makes noise), or use it on surroundings for takeouts (ex. using thunder on a puddle of water). While puzzle solving, magic can be used on certain situations. Thunder to power things up, fire to thaw out objects encased in ice, blizzard to cool down hot objects. Namine (if she appears as a spiritual guide), can give Kairi tips on how she might sole certain puzzles. If puzzles are in the Old Mansion, Namine would be a big help.
  13. I think his role would be similar to Handsome Jack's role in Tales from the Borderlands.
  14. I was wondering if Emmy should have her own game. One that may, or may not be set during the first trilogy. The game may begin with Emmy in an interrogation room, with handcuffs on her writs. The interviewer asks Emmy about the events that lead to the predicament she's in right now. So the first half is a "how we got here" scenario. Maybe even a flashback within a flashback detailing her earlier years. And the second half may begin with Emmy cutting her hair short. On the subject of flashback within a flashback. Emmy might describe it with nearby prisoners (and maybe the interviewer too). And who knows? Said prisoners would have some interest in her story. For example, one of them asking what happened. For the main somewhat villain. He/she (most likely she) would be a mix of three fictional masked Batman characters. Arkham Knight, and Red Hood. As said "villain" will have vast knowledge about certain Targent members (more importantly Emmy.) All that aside, Emmy probably blames herself for Aurora's death. Its a trope category called "I let Gwen Stacy Die". I also like her to befriend an orphan little girl, running away from some keeper putting orphans through child labor. What's ironic is that said keeper doesn't like working his/her orphans to death. A piece of dialogue that few characters would say to Emmy will be "I know who you are Emmy". Meaning that the person who said it to her, KNOWS that she's a Targent member. What do you users think?
  15. Sounds like season 3 will start at either Wellington, Howe's Hardware, or somewhere else. Depending on our choices.
  16. While is this categorized under 1.5 HD ReMIX? It should be categorized under 2.5 HD ReMIX.
  17. I too think its better than TTG. One of my only complaints is it's lack of Tara Strong. By the way, young Twilight Sparkle sounds like Bubbles now. Don't believe me, then watch Amending Fences. Also, The Stayover reminds me of an episode of Sonic Boom.
  18. Well I think it's Sora's way of saying goodbye to his own naïveity.
  19. I Think Roxas and Namine would show up as Arkham Knight styled hallucinations. While Xion shows up a few times. Speaking of which, how do you think Kairi would react if she starts seeing hallucinations of Namine?
  20. If that does happen, I like to see more of Mr. Freeze, Jade, Batman, and Joker (you might chew me our for mentioning him). The reason I want to see more of Mr. Freeze is because I want to see if he has the same tragic backstory as in BTAS, Batman & Robin, and the Arkham series. As for Joker, if they decided to include Jason Todd/Red Hood, they're gonna have to include the clown.
  21. You know what's more complicated? Riku's side of The Grid is more true to Tron Legacy than Sora's side.
  22. You just wanted to see Kairi have a bad reaction to scythes and/or rose petals. Although if an ghostly illusion of Namine were to appear, she might warn Kairi not to trust him. And maybe avoid telling him that she's got Namine inside of her.
  23. I have a theory or two. Depending on if Sora's the only playable character, or not. Sora: Each room he enters represents a world that appears in KH3. Kind of like that terminal section of "End of the World". But without any figments of anyone he met up until that point. Seeing that he RARELY understands anything. Kairi: Her section would involve a white room crumbling around her. Then turning into a mixture of Radiant Garden, Destiny Islands, Castle Oblivion itself, and Twilight Town. This would be due to her childhood memories getting mexed up with Namine's memories.
