Oh, Etro's the Goddess of Chaos in Final Fantasy 13's universe, one who had her powers removed by the gifts she had given but is the provider of the soul. Peashy, Uzume, and Plutia seem to be way-y-y more chaotic, however. There's hardly anything that they come across which isn't trashed or threatened. Also, good job on keeping up with the RP thus far, Yuffie. It helped me to get up to speed, and I thought I was.

So the Gems are essentially becoming world-breeching parasites like Lavos, digging into planets to spawn more of themselves? Intriguing. Also, I'll incorporate that world thing into my post.

-Girasol- at ~Terraria~ Girasol pounced upon the alabaster in her adobe house on Terraria with boundless ambition, bringing hammer to pick as she chiseled away at her latest work. She supposed it to be her best yet, though she had no idea because she had not had a real customer in what felt like centuries. Who knew, maybe it was indeed centuries, but she was persistent and indomitable, as her lone friend knew. Plink. Plink. Chank. Plink plink plink. Blow. Chink chank plink. The chisel dug into the pink stone with vitality, freshly sharpened. Visualising the work with a keen eye honed by centuries, she lopped off chunk after chunk, hoping that an earthquake would not happen. But it did. The world shuddered around her and tottered the stone sculptures surrounding her masterpiece and soon-to-be iconic centrepiece of her shop. The terrene energy, while powerful, had little influence on her previous works of art, suspended in the air as they were by chains and a thick slab of metal beneath them, but the alabaster before her was on the ground. "Oh no oh no oh no!" she cried out frantically, trying her hardest to hold it upright, but it toppled nonetheless, destroying her wooden floor where it fell. "NO!" she screamed, venting out her frustration. She could always raise the alabaster again, but the intricately decorated floorboards she herself carved were beyond repair. It would take a year to make it match the rest of her home, maybe two. "That's Venta heartwood, almost priceless! How can I get more of that now? I have to live with this until I get more!" She formed a pout and stared at the terrible mess, fists curled on her hips. As if this were not enough, the earth stopped quaking shortly afterward, making her even more sour. "Oh-h-h, what to do, what to do!" she uttered loudly, wracking her brain.

Zee interest level . . . she spiked, honh? Oui, that it did! I shall have to check out these RPs later, considering my almost equal love for Fire Emblem and original plots. As for that artist, he has a lot of good-quality pieces. Maybe this is a sign that I should hop on dA more often than every few years. Additionally, I love your choice of abilities for your vamped Sylar, umbrakinesis especially. The manipulation of shadows has always intrigued me, especially how Heroes Reborn is doing it. I have too many favourite abilities, ranging from electrokinesis to terrakinesis to atmokinesis, but no strictly defined favourite. I could imagine myself being more akin to air or electricity than anything else, however. How about yourselves? Any superpowers you crave? I doubt anyone would want to have the ability to know how things work like a certain supervillain previously mentioned.

It's an interesting concept, though, and Nephalem of Diablo was born as a result of it, so I'm content. Cyler/Sylar continues to interest me beyond Heroes. When did you make him yours, Yuffie?

Like MA, I too am not too antiquated with Steven Universe, but the concept really interests me. While I will join either way (with your permission, of course), what is the RP going to be like besides an open world RP? Is it more along the lines of bonds, powers, and perseverance over forces of destruction and destruction in general, or am I reading too little into this? Thanks in advance. Name: Girasol. Preferred name: Gira. Appearance: Girasol almost has an opalescence to her and flickers with life at every turn, having a reddish flush on her white skin. She stands at less than average height, has auburn hair and blue eyes, and is garbed in a satin sundress that flows as readily as she does. Her gem lies on her left cheek. Weapon: Whip that glistens with water which flows through it at a slow, steady pace. Abilities: Water control, curative abilities, crystallisation of small amounts of materials (like water to ice or sand to glass). Backstory: Born of the merger of Opal and Cinnabar, Gira was naturally lively and fueled with a burning passion to live and love. She is creative, artistic, bright, and cheerful, to name only a few of her traits, and while she had many jobs and passions she favours being a sculptor. Fusions: None yet. Colour: Purple.

(These goddesses put Etro to shame in terms of being chaotic deities. =/ ) -Rufus Contralto- Rufus was entirely clueless as to what was around him until the others pointed it out, the destruction and mayhem caused by the shimmering tears of an angelic child. It must have been the overwhelming sensations of fighting alongside and against dangerously powerful individuals as a novice that caused this oversight, but now that he felt and saw the embers torching the village he felt the inclination to assist. He knew, however, that he would have to let down Fiora and Jadis in their desire to have him join the bolstering Resistance. While they were trustworthy, he did not trust one whom was among the Resistance's elite, and the icy cold he felt towards that one helped him. With a look of disgust at opening up his kerchief, he put his kerchief over his mouth, rushed toward the nearest building he can find, and thrust a narrow strip of snow in front of him towards its door with an open hand. The snow quickly blasted the door inward and diffused to water upon striking the rapid combustion of the backdraft from the new opening. With this much water helping him quench the flames, he searched for survivors in the wreckage piled around him. -Yltriss Hyulli- While she was frustrated with Peashy's quick escape through the laboratory's exit, she maintained a smile as she looked over to Gabriel. "I was meaning to speak to you about those abominations that are running amok and those weaponised electric weaponry that you were going to use against them on the 'off-chance' that they would escape, but everything seems to be in order--" She was cut off by an explosive concussive noise emanating from the holodisc's dome, echoing louder and louder. "Never mind that," she sighed. "Hand me one of those generators, will you? We have a rodent to silence before she becomes a bother to the emperor. Oh, and sorry for the mess I made," she added with a wink, moving the earthen pillars back into the ground from whence they came; such was fixable, but the shattered glass beakers and punctured steel pipes her rocks flew into certainly were not.

Dang, that's a long history for your collective characters, putting mine to great shame. It is awesome to see the characters develop so much over time from simple fighters to abstract apollyons, and I love seeing the origins to their legacies. I'll stretch out Rufus' to a greater length, if that is the case. Regarding Yuffie, I do not apologise for my actions, *grin grin*. But seriously now, sorry for the trouble.

It's all good, mate, and I'm sorry too for my wording, if you haven't seen my apology beforehand. I should give people the benefit of the doubt more often, especially folks who I hope to get to know better like yourselves. Speaking of getting to know each other better, what inspired all of you into roleplaying the characters that you have in this RP, or how long have you had said characters? Rufie, my golden star of foolishness, has seen about two years of use and was more of a joke character than anything else, sort of like my hare-brained crossbowman in the Glitz Pit of old. Yltriss is quite new and rather refreshing for me, however. The above is just idle curiosity, as you all have history with each other, apparently.

It is all good in my book. There's enough drama in the world without a resident Vaude stirring things up.

That sounds . . . seriously overpowered when it comes to shielding right there, a defensive shield that instantly attaches to the skin upon conflict and absorbs millions of watts of electricity, and twenty minutes of wrestling with a speedster pugilist with such shieldability makes me cringe. Then again, I guess everybody has something that makes them more than dangerous, so I'll just shut my yap. Yltriss apologises to Scrapmaster for the destruction of multimillion-korben (or whatever the heck the currency is) equipment and gives him a complementary ham sandwich. Lastly, no worries, MA; good luck with your studies!

(These "goddesses" are slippery minxes, aren't they? Also, that poor Sahala mech. It just doesn't get a break except in the leg department.) -Yltriss Hyulli- Yltriss was surprised, as was evident of her raised brow, but her grin did not waver. Instead, she put her foot down to channel the potential energy of the three raised earth pillars previously around Gabriel to a different location: four stubs on the floor where Peashy ran. These stubs were raised just enough to trip Peashy from her brisk jog (or stub her toes very badly) and yet be borderline unnoticeable. With her speed, it would be difficult to tell what Yltriss had done. The elf next raised a hand and pulled out five fist-sized rocks from around her, tearing away the metal surface of the floor, and shattered them into smaller pieces. Half of the rock shards shot forth into the tornado, prepared to deal damage to Peashy if she continued running, and the other half gathered (with difficulty because of the tornado's massive energy) into Yltriss' hand. These would be sent in Peashy's direction if she halted by either pain or caution, or kept in reserve if nothing had changed.

No worries; she'll be fine for the moment, though if the attack fails she will need some bailing out. Also, geez, such displays of power. I think 'tis time to activate mine.

-Rufus Contralto- The girl Neena tossed back the phial, and Rufus, with a dread that the glowing red contents would spill out from the fragile and loose cork top, panicked and lurched forward. To his relief, not a drop oozed out. Breathing more freely, he analysed the situation. The girl Neena left the mixed party behind with only a word of advice that he knew well. Henry stood there, undiscernable. Fiora looked puzzled. However, Jadis took precedence in his eyes, the young elf most probably ecstatic that his caretaker would get the cure she needed. "Well, elven youth," he uttered with more cheer than he was feeling, still grumbling that his expensive potion was given away, "you have serendipity aplenty, for your caretaker can and will be restored unless it is the most grievous of illnesses or addictions. I can concoct another, more potent philter if need be. Here's my card should you need it." With a whirl of his hands, a card spun into existence, summoned from the great beyond, and with an equally quick motion he snatched it from the air and held it out to Jadis. A smile touched his features. "Rufus Contralto, philterer and mystic. It was a pleasure meeting you, Jadis Sorein, though if you don't mind I would like my kerchief back in exchange." -Yltriss Hyulli- Yltriss stepped into the Imperial laboratory, watching the fight rage on between Gabriel and Peashy. It was amusing to watch, and with the ensuing craziness she was invisible to the two as they duked it out with each other, especially when the shield disc went up and encased them. That is when she decided to step in. She knew that Gabriel stood a good chance against this youth, but in her desire to speak with him she decided to help support him, quickly, powerfully, and painlessly. Taking a pill case out of her flowing robes and cracking it open with an audible pop, she downed two pills, one an Animal Instinct tanzynite pill and the other a Rocky Road. It took little effort for the two powers to take effect, and upon catching sight of the two through the barrier she slammed her slippered feet against the ground, seeing through Peashy's tricky move. Three columns of earth rose out from in front of the child's copies, taking with them perfect cutouts of the metal sheets that served as the laboratory's floor. They rose to strike the three copies in the gut as all four, Peashy included, lurched forward, but nothing was done for the original. Instead, she trusted Gabriel to take care of that situation and concentrated solely on the imitations.

It's better that you don't know, MA. =P As for these mages, surely you don't mean Yennefer and Triss, right? Right? Regarding sites to check out, RPoL is a hit-or-miss. Even if you have a good idea, you have to shamelessly nudge your RP into the front page to get hits and active interests. They have a IRC chat thread too, where MA and I have frequented when discussing a Final Fantasy 6 RP with a friend whom we bounced ideas off, but I do not know how active it is because my computer strangely enough cannot open IRC anymore. NS2 is my safest suggestion to you, the RPs based on Nintendo franchises or originality, but it is a mite stricter than the freeform style of this site, as you may have identified through my style. Nevertheless, they have -really- good people there, even if I have to cull them from the woodwork.
