  1. An escavator, eh? =P Well, I guess there is always room for an escalator in the shop or the hallway. Let it be so. By the way, weapons of mass destruction, general armour, and weaponised items are on the 1st floor; clothes will be on the 2nd floor; and other objects like day-to-day living supplies are on the 3rd floor. The shop is for whatever reason between the cafeteria and the gate, if I recall correctly, and if not it is assuredly one room over from the gate for ease of movement and equipment. In addition, if one wants to switch equipment, there is an armoury attached to the shop room and gate room as well. Winona did this with her Greek javelin, swapping it with a Roman gladius (sword), so feel free to switch things out if you so desire.
  2. Good question! I might have given a quick layout previously where there is a long curving hallway bending like an "n" with two main hallway exits leading to the cafeteria and the gateway, with numerous smaller hallways leading to other rooms. The arena is near each of the two ends, making it an easy location to visit, and almost all of the living quarters are tied to the main hallway. Until I make up a map, however, feel free to make stuff up as you deem fit or as necessary.
  3. I accept both characters. This is a neat concept, having a symbiotic fusion of these two characters, and I like the idea of hard light, which seems similar to Shield but likely has different properties. I look forward to seeing it implemented in the roleplay! I will update the first post's roster shortly when I have time.
  4. - Winona, with Ceres following a Spectacled Man - Winnie caught on that Galla was as eager to take this man with glasses on as well, considering he was definitely up to no good, and nodded as a signal to continue what she was doing. Winona did the same, stalking closer to the man and keeping clear of fallen brush from the singed trees. The last thing they needed was for him to catch on. This continued for a short while before the man halted, his back towards them both. Winona could almost feel the man's expression change, a ghost of a feeling similar to dread. He was on to them, she was certain of it. "It is unwise to sneak up on people. Someone might get the wrong idea and do great harm to them," he spoke up sonorously, looking back at them over his shoulder with his off-hue eyes and mischievous smile glittering in the pale light. And there it was, her premonition coming true. What could have triggered his noticing them? Neither Ceres nor herself were very audible. Did something else give him a tip-off, or did the man have eyes in the back of his head? She studied him carefully in the ill-seeming silence allowed by him. He was definitely of narrow build, and she could not tell if he had a weapon at all. Victory seemed simple if their party trapped him like they planned, but something seemed off, very off. She did not know if it was his eyes or his voice. His eyes focused mainly on Winona, and he next said, "Now tell me, girl, what is your name?" "Winona," she blurted without intention, or maybe because she wanted to. Her hand rose to her sword and drew it out skillfully so that it pointed towards his heart. "What you said before about a hermit. Tell us what you intended to do with him." "Simply to place him in an area where he is comfortable and free to conduct business without interfering in my business. I have a heart, you know. Now, stand down and let me be on my way." Her sword arm wavered, then dropped. His honeyed words and gaze were oddly appealing. Could this man even be who she thought he was? ((I wonder what Ceres will do now. The choice is yours, Heart, though as you may know this man is more dangerous than he may appear.)) - Hogarth, with Henry and Lucia - The three-eyed man's expression beamed upon seeing the elementals, especially seeing Sylph flying around and little Gnome as she hid shyly away behind Henry's leg. Perhaps one day he could aspire to gain an elemental companion as well. It would certainly cure his loneliness in the lab and give him someone to talk to, much more so than his robotics and golems. Perhaps his studies can help him acquire one, whether it be through that nature essence he garnered a few weeks back from the Elysian Forest, or through other means like a pact. "Good to see you and yours as well, my elementalist friend," he welcomed chipperly, raising his tiny cup of tea -- which was mainly filled with sugar cubes -- in their direction, even Sylph's. "I'm refreshing myself at the moment, spending some time outside of my laboratory. It gets so dreadfully dull, and my limbs need a bit of action, so I was thinking about heading to the arena to unwind. Would you two care to join me? I think we have a little bit of time left on our hands."
  5. A duo! I would be very much interested in this, especially if they act as one unit/character, like what I have done with the Jun twins minutely. I think they would be fine, so feel free to get started on them or whatever character you wish to implement.
  6. You should!!! I for one would happily welcome you, bud. Please familiarise yourself through the original post a little, and set up a character sheet, and we can move on from there. -- -- -- As an aside to everyone, I am entering the busy season for my line of work in construction where I work long hours on weekdays, so I will likely be a little sluggish in terms of responding to the roleplay. I will try my best with the time I am allotted, but starting tomorrow this is in effect. In addition, I will try to move the main quest (the one with the dragon) onward by the next weekend (May 17, hopefully). Please hang in there until then and have fun with your fellows. That would be a great time to help with Rikunobody's character too. I can help there as well.
  7. - Uzumeashy, within the kitchen of the cafeteria with Iseult - Uzumeashy's face flushed at the kindness of her companion. She was more than happy of having befriended Iseult when so many others hardly knew that the dark elf existed. Beneath all of her calm demeanour, Iseult truly had a heart of gold, at least in Uzumeashy's eyes. She reiterated what she told the others about the quest -- about the need to acquire a dragon's gallbladder for a cure for her people's blight, and about the posting that was on the job board for some time that luckily and aptly fit her own quest. The job called for the dragon's death, she said, though she personally would like to leave the dragon with its life, humbled but not slain. "That is open and depends greatly on the situation," she affirmed afterward. "As for those who are taking part in it, hmm . . . Pang, Galla, Rhiannon, and Ceres I know joined in, then Hektor and Henry. Kolm? I think that's his name, and perhaps a few more, and then you. It's a big group, which means I have to make some big rations while camping tonight. What to make, I wonder? Behemoth goulash with carrots and parsnips might be good." She zoned out, eyes glossing over as she thought about meals she could prepare, then snapped her fingers and wrote down a blurb in her recipe book, a constant thing on her person. Some people write in diaries. Uzumeashy wrote in recipe books. ((Like a certain Final Fantasy 15 chef I know.)) - Winona, within the forests near Adamant of the world Gravigo with Ceres - The lady tryhard shuddered at the thought of the man's murmuring being an incantation. That was a thought that she did not originally imagine, and if it was then they and others might be in a great deal of danger. Then again, it made sense. If this man controlled Aprameia, he may have been a necromancer, one of the greater users of magical incantations throughout the multiverse. Swallowing hard, she continued onward alongside Ceres. "Whatever he is, let's not lower our guard even once, even as we assess the situation. He may be either a nobody in our book . . . or our greatest lead so far." As they came closer, the white blossoms of the tree were rapidly coming into view, and within the grove of surrounding trees was a blue-cloaked individual, in a full robe of similar make and an unveiled head. Dark hair trickled down over his ears, golden skin shone in the combination of starlight and an inner glow, and his mouth, moving as it was, revealed the whitest of teeth, finely filed and twisting in a very odd manner. Above it all, clouding his oddly shimmering green eyes, were a very thin line that Winona, upon further inspection, noted as spectacles. "That's him! That has to be him," she whispered toward her companion, ducking behind a tree whose trunk was thick enough to hide her. Her heart raced like Ceres' as she peered around its charred bark, though some level of doubt was surmised. "Ceres, let's learn some more before we attempt to take him on and pin him down. I want to make sure of this." She slipped ahead, just enough to overhear most of what he was saying. "--ollow and assassinate then seems too tedious. Why not remove the man immediately and be done with it? He is a hermit. He has no friends or family, and even if the book is hidden--" He stopped, as if he were cut off by another speaker, and covered half his face with a sweeping motion of his hand as a sign of annoyance. Whether he was seen or not was a mystery. "You're the boss," he voiced in an oily manner which can easily be understood as sarcastic. "I will carry on these orders as desired, then, though may I remind you of the fact that you are interfering with my studies. Over and out." His frame relaxed as the smiling facade was reduced to an abhorrent frown. He huffed angrily and moved a few steps further into the grove, tensing one of his hands. Winona felt tempted to continue after him, but checked to see what Ceres was going to do first in an act of caution. - Hogarth, with the others in the cafeteria - Hogarth was quick to be surprised, as was evident with the lift of all three of his eyebrows, at Lucia's seating opposite him. The girl was always training in the sparring rooms, ripping dummies and active combat robots to shreds with her powers. Was she one of those who were invited to join the dragon hunt as well? He did not know and could not know without additional information, so he struck up a conversation. "You seem lost in thought," he voiced across the table, mirroring her with a hand holding up his leaning head. "Is it regarding our favourite chef, B--I mean, Uzumeashy, or something else? Come to think of it, we rarely talk or meet, don't we? It's an uncommon occurrence that I see you outside of the coliseum or the field. The name's Hogie, short for Hogarth."
  8. Hi, all, I apologise, but I am going to have to bow out of this RP for a number of reasons. I apologise for slowing this to a crawl, and wish you all a good rest of the RP without me.
  9. Winona smiled, this piece of news gladdening her. There was a good chance that they can catch and interrogate this man, and, if the situation deserved it, to kill him as well. While not the closest of friends with Pang, she disliked witnessing the hurt on his face on that night. Destroying the man that caused him such harm and directly killing another Haven member in the process would bring about a sense of justice. She liked that. She noticed that Ceres had difficulty with her clattering metal plates, and deigned to assist her with that. "This might aid you with that armour," she coaxed, reaching out a hand over the distance that glowed with some sort of eerie light that seemed grey in appearance. "Relax as I cast a lightening spell on you." Soon afterwards, the spell was cast and, if successful, Ceres' armour would feel lighter. In fact, her step would be lighter as well, gravity losing part of its effect on her. She hoped that this would help with the rustling of the heavy-seeming protective gear. Continuing on a minute later, a noise in the background could be heard, barely audible at first and getting louder as they advanced. Catching this, Winnie froze at first and, upon realising that the voice from afar did not seem to approach nor retreat, signaled Ceres to continue onward. "That's a man's voice coming from where the grove should be . . . and he is staying in place. Would that I could, I would give some of my strengths away for better hearing. He sounds like he is in conversation, but I do not hear anyone else. Do you think he's talking to himself or to someone distant, like . . . telepathically or something similar? Let's close the distance a little in the meantime," she whispered over the distance to Ceres. ~~ ~~ ~~ Pang, in the meantime, was greatly relishing a platter of food with a lovely cup of tea, still in the sanctity of the Haven's cafeteria. The room's occupants greatly dispersed, some going to the arena and others biding time before the showdown with the dragon. One person slipped by him and seemed to enter the kitchen, catching his eye just for a moment, but nothing about him or her was instantly recognisable, so he continued on with his meal. Hogarth, on the other hand, stirred to life, annoyed by the fact that the note still sang a second wake-up call even when cloven in two by a throwing star. With a grunt, he retrieved himself from the mattress on the floor and migrated over to the note. As soon as he picked it up, it stopped chiming. "Of course you do," he mumbled. "Just when I feel fully awakened." Reading on, he found out about the quest and how everyone was requested to be gathered at the cafeteria, so he readied himself and headed off for the cafeteria as well. He found himself in great need of a shower and hoped that nobody would mind his smell of yesterday's clothes, but if he wanted to make it in time he had to be quick about seeing everyone. Of course, he was late, and as he entered the cafeteria he espied a slew of people he knew. Reksis and Hektor were there, and for a moment Rhiannon. Pang seemed to be there too, though there was no sign of the chef. He sat down nearby, ordering something from the in-table menu, and waited for it to come to him. ~~ ~~ ~~ Uzumeashy shrank back against a counter, fearing whoever came into the kitchen and saw the blood she coughed onto her hand. She was quick to recognise who this was, however, and her heart rate dropped considerably upon doing so. "Iseult?" she murmured, partially through disbelief that she actually came but also alleviation. It was good to be around a friend who she thought would not judge. "I . . . yes, I guess this is part of the urgency. I've contracted something native to my world, and I have to get a cure. This is just one of the first symptoms. Sorry if I woke you." She migrated over to the washing station and cleaned the nastiness from her hands and mouth with flowing water, then scrubbed herself down with soap. "Good morning, by the way. Also, I hope you know that this is all new. I don't . . . normally cough into my hands," she voiced in a sheepish manner, worried that people would think less of her as a cook if news of this ever spread.
  10. I for one agree entirely! Overworld has been a marvelous project for all of us, and I am proud to have been an instrument in its success. Thank you all for your hard work, dedication, and boundless fun, everyone. It would not have been the same without you. As an old friend would say, " o7 ".
  11. Excellent choices on purchases, Mystics, and I look forward to seeing their implementation! As for Scrap, I eagerly anticipate your post!
  12. Winona eyed Ceres mischievously through the dim light, replying, "No, it won't. Our mission may be one of probing and inquiry, but accidents happen all the time, and I'll chalk this up as an 'accident.' If this man is the one Pang is seeking, I've no issues with doing him in then and there with you." Her eyes clouded as she migrated to the next strip of dirt road, still amidst a good expanse of dead or dying trees. The town glittered dimly through the trees from a closer distance, the nearest streetlight maybe a kilometer and a half (about a mile) away. "We are almost there at the ley line, if I remember this place right. I am from the neighboring city of Cama, but I remember a lot of the passages in the Charred Woods. Keep an eye out for a grove of live trees with white blossoms. Being on a ley line has its perks. The trees bloom and produce fruit all year long, and the grass stays green regardless of the weather. I'd hate to ruin the place with a fight, but if I have to I will. "First and foremost, we should come up with a mutual plan. If he runs, I don't have the speed to catch up with him quickly without using gravity magic, and even then, in such a dense forest it would be . . . tricky. You have shield magic, right? Can you project a wall of energy from a distance? If that is possible, we can trap him with both our abilities, you with a shield blocking his escape and me with snapping trees under their own weight."
  13. Convinced indeed! I just hope I didn't pester too much. Welcome aboard, Elrandir, and I hope your adventures in this RP will be at the very least satisfying and at the most extremely fun. If you have questions or need a recap to catch up on some things, do not hesitate to poke me. In addition, I am quite pleased to say that your character sheet is accepted. These are some very interesting abilities to blend together, and I can definitely see her going far. The signature move is especially interesting, and can be a very useful support measure to keep others from dying off as much as herself without needing a restorative item. I look forward to seeing this character develop as time plods on!
  14. Curative magic is a sort of positive energy, so it likely will have an effect on Galla's death magic, which is a negative energy. Injuries are rare to heal immediately, so it might take a few posts for one to get back into fighting shape (especially since Galla triple-dipped into death magic), but advanced blood magic can definitely allow early blood clotting as well as other things, like invigorating hearts after cardiac arrest / heart attacks on willing or prone individuals. Boost that with air magic's deep breathing and you can augment your regen even better by increasing your blood flow and gathering enough air to give your body a surge of oxygen. That is neither here nor there, but blood magic has a great amount of uses. I look forward to seeing what the consensus is. This greatly rouses my interest.
  15. Winona grinned anew from ear to ear and placed her hand on her hip, the shortsword swiveling in its sheathe from the movement. "Is there even a doubt? Then we'll be on our way. Thanks, Ceres. I will tell you more as we go on." With that, the two travelled to the room with the gate, which snapped and groaned with electricity that flitted over its organic body like dancing snakes. A portal yawned wide and revealed a distant glimmer of town streetlamps amidst an ocean of black, dead trees that stretched up to the heavens like hands. This desolate, sooty landscape was plagued with constant fires, but the town of Adamant still stood as an untouched bulwark against the elements. Winona led the way with a certain step and a familiarity few could match, slipping into the portal and weaving her way through the trees, purposely straying from the road. She talked along the way. "The land of Gravigo is a world of constant change. The four elements of old are at a constant struggle for superiority due to plate tectonics, and nature is not as kind as on other worlds. The sun is harsh, water is scarce and bubbles up from time to time from hot springs, the ground is almost universally volcanic. It wasn't always like this, but all things adapted to this lifestyle, including us gravity artisans. "Let's talk about the job instead, as I voiced I would do. Some locals are observing a tall man in otherworldly robes visiting the city, then a grove of trees near a ley line. They suspect them, but cannot prove anything, and have no jails to put him in, so they request the cities for aid. The cities refused, so they came to the Haven for aid, or at least that's what I suspect. It is the nature of things out here in the boondocks. "Anyway, the description of the man caught my ear. He was tall, slender, robed in spidersilk, and wore thin glasses that seemed almost ethereal (his words, not mine). When I asked of his fingers, they told me that they were long. I suspect you know what this means, Ceres?" She paused, earnest to hear what the lady paladin would say in lieu to this new information.
  16. Eh?! What? I am awake! Oh, arena possibilities. It depends on the combatants in and out of the game. If Kolm and Galla are up for a free-for-all, that would be well and good, but if so please post regularly within three days of the last post as per the rules of the roleplay If taking too long, I will attempt a poke, but it is grounds for forfeiting the match. Speaking of pokes, *pokes @Nero Kunivas to awakedness*.
  17. Winnie looked Ceres over with a half-open stare, hiding her surprise and unsure of two things: where Ceres came up with this wisdom or why she was harping it towards her. Nevertheless, there was a certain charm to her worry and her desire to help. Winona nibbled her lip a little, viewing Ceres' assisting hand, and accepted it with a firm handshake. "Who am I to refuse such free assistance?" she inquired needlessly, finally grinning with beaming white teeth. "You have a deal there, Ceres, and austere company such as yours would be welcome on the trip through desolate woods that I was planning. However, didn't you place your mark with our dear chef and the others? What if you are being sought by them? If you think it to be all right, I'll hesitate no longer and take you with me through the portal. This should be a piece of cake with two."
  18. Winona jolted and slowly turned around at Ceres' inquiry, her dominant hand slipping to her newly garnered sword before relaxing, remembering where she was. To those who were observant, it would seem that she was deep in thought at the time, which was quite unlike her usual flippant, jovial self. "You forget who I am, Ceres," she replied with a casual yet forced smile, holding a flyer loosely in her hands. "I am Winona Kissinger, best in the business, or I aspire to, anyway. I can take care of myself quite fine, and the quest I picked up is of a low grade even for a Bronze listing. Thank you for thinking of me, however! Your hair looks lovely, by the way," she ended, trying to change the topic. ((Here's a small half-post. I would vouch happily for the Galla/Kolm arena fight, and wish the best for both combatants if it is decided that there will be a fight. As for Winona, the flyer can be easily torn away from her and would reveal that she is lying about the ranking of the job. It is a Silver rank intelligence mission involving spying on a shady individual who comes every fourth day to a grove of trees.))
  19. Apologies for the delayed response. I have been busy and struggled for words with my post, and even now am uncertain of the post, but at the very least it is out there. I hope everyone had a great Easter and weekend!
  20. Ravia felt the blush of excitement burn at her cheeks upon the interest garnered for her ideas. It was a silly thing, but her Keyblade teacher, Master Ivido, had never had a fondness for tactics and the gaining of intel, instead running into the battle with a mindlessness fit for berserkers. Coupling that with the fact that she was still young and seeking out friends in her life of solitude, she was rife with joy and ceased talking for a time with a smile on her face. She listened in as the others debated over tactics, all of them seeming quite sound from all the books that she had read regarding mixed strategy, causing her to nod her head. They also supported Mirei from the harsh cold, proving the care they had towards their own, which earned a greater smile from her. It was not until Malak asked his question toward her that she raised her head and interacted once more. "A few," she replied. "There are the rebelling Returners who seem like a crowd favourite of the town, and the local wolves and mammoths to consider. There's even talk of moogles with crude weapons living nearby, but that seems silly. Our biggest worry is those metal monsters, then probably the Returners. If those guards for the mines are rebels, we can pit the one against the other and either help the more correct group or take advantage of the moment." She paused a bit with her steps, a chill crawling up her own spine from the callousness of her analysis. She did not correct herself, however, and stooped her head into her scarf and collar to hide her shame. She again trekked onward.
  21. - Uzumeashy, Pang, Winona, and Hogarth during the gathering in the cafeteria - "The dragon does not have to be alive, but I don't like killing much, so I would like to avoid it. If it is unavoidable, however . . . well, take no chances. The green giant with a mustache halted his twirling as he looked about with an air of surprise and interest. There was an abundance of candidates in a short bout of time, and while he was tempted to test his mettle against a dragon as well he had next to no friendly relation to any of them, and had no real desire to spark a friendly relation anytime soon. He was a lone wolf, going on quests by himself and gaining an enormous bout of self-sufficiency, so he bowed out. Uzumeashy gave him an ugly look as he left the room, wondering how he got this way without any semblance of manners, but the bumbling oaf Pepolino, whose name sounds oddly like a restaurant, accomplished enough to be considered respectable all the same. Uzumeashy instead focused on what she did have: a large group of individuals both new and old, many of which took place in that battle pertaining to Aprameia, one which she had been meaning to get more information about. With a big grin on her face, unbecoming of her nature of being sick, she bowed and swayed back and forth in joy. "Thank you. Thank you all, to those who would help me! The quicker we leave, the better, so I would like to head out soon. So, um . . . pack up and reconvene here at nine o'clock. That is all." With that last note of hyperconscientiousness and a sudden flutter of wooziness, she fled stumbling into the kitchen. Numerous automatons took this as a perfect opportunity to flood out from the kitchen tiles with everyone's ordered food, deeming it a high probability that any other time would have been bordering on inappropriateness, but to Uzumeashy it came at a perfect time. A fit of coughing shook her as soon as she turned the corner, and when she pulled her balled fist away from her mouth she found blood and tissue. The consumption was starting. She could not wait for this quest to be over so that she could get better. The possibility of death had never seemed so scary to her until now when she was stripped of her immortality by the plague of her people. Pang watched Uzumeashy as she wandered back to her favourite area of the Haven, shaking his head with a chuckle and none the wiser of her current condition. She always was an energetic one, with a strange and unique blend of shyness and the lack thereof, but the food distracted him in the end when he was greeted by a robotic server. He later dared to move to Ceres' table in a gesture of familiarity, invited Reksis and his Ghost to join him, and chuckled at the elemental Sylph's antics regarding Hektor and Rhiannon. Winona, on the other hand, remained where she was where she swiftly downed her ordered food, and within five minutes left for the gate. She had something to check in on, a lead to follow, and she felt compelled to venture on this lead alone. Hogarth stirred to awakening finally, was annoyed by the sounds of what he thought was an alarm clock of cruel design, and fired off a series of shuriken from his palm that devotedly clove the paper into fine pieces and stopped the sound. Pleased with the results, he fluffed his pillow and continued sleeping in, oblivious to everything but his desire to pass beyond the walls of consciousness. [[So, there is a number of options available for everyone: 1.) you can spend time with everyone in the cafeteria and just enjoy each other's company, 2.) combat in the arena within the two hours alotted, 3.) sneak in to visit Uzumeashy if you so wish, 4.) follow Winona on her little quest, or 5.) do whatever else tickles your fancy (within limitation of this RP's rules). I hope everyone will have fun in this intermissive period and what will happen later. Also, here is Uzumeashy's battle skills if one so wishes to check it out: Weapons: Mincing Knife, Frying Pan (with Adamant Weave) Items: Elixir of Life, Grease x2, Hourglass Active Powers: Regeneration+++ (four stacks) Passive Powers: Strength Up, Heightened Smell Signature Move: Profound Passive Regeneration -- while not invulnerable, Uzumeashy has tremendous regenerative powers since a young age which can provide her healing beyond normal means. This has a limit rarely tested in the arena, and never yet tested in other fields of battle.]]
  22. Uzumeashy scratched her cheek and glanced away towards her cafeteria board in an effort to stave off the unease of both Ceres' good-hearted question and Kolm's interrogation. "It's 'Uzumeashy,' " she replied to Rhiannon softly, wrestling with her dislike towards her name and being thankful for the lancer's concern before moving on entirely. "And . . . I don't really know. It's hereditary to my kind, but I've been blessed to live as long as I have. My ability to heal is unheard of for my world, but even still death is coming for me. The physician I talked to gave me a week, maybe two weeks' time, when it normally claims my people within an hour of showing symptoms. It has been a night since then. "However," she continued, perking right up even through the pallidness, "he did give me hope with this tincture. He has all of the ingredients but this one, and I have the medical training and handy skills with a knife to perform a cholecystectomy, so I'll be coming, no matter what. I can handle myself even if I lag behind. Dragon fire will hurt me, but I have been through worse trials and came out unscathed." Pang looked around the room, hoping to get a word in, and finding a chance he hopped into the conversation. "I'll join you in humbling this dragon. I read this request before about two weeks ago or so. I'm surprised nobody has picked up the job yet, though on the other hand we have been busy as of late." Winona held back on her response and raising her hand. While she did worry about the only human chef of the bunch, there were other fish to fry, and she trusted that the takedown of this dragon could be left up to these four -- or three, if Kolm decided to pull out.
  23. Ravia accepted everyone's hands in a warm handshake, marvelling in the fact that their hands were as cold as they were before recalling her spell for radiant heat. Everyone proved resourceful in their own way, though there was something that had not yet been mentioned. "New indeed. It is a pleasure to meet you all," she replied over a gust of snowy wind, matching pace with everyone and bounding to the middle of the group, "but there is something you should know, a tidbit I gleaned from the adventurer's guild and tavern. Magic is almost unheard of here, and is quite feared. There's talk of a sorceress in an Empire down south of here who can use it, and she is quite powerful according to hearsay. Your magic is how I gauged you all to be otherworlders like myself at the start, so be careful and do not unveil it needlessly. The last thing we need to do is generate a panic."
  24. Excellent; this will be very useful for later. Thanks, guys! I will try to have Ravia be in the know but not fully knowledgable about Mirai, Malacai, or Eli for that matter, though knowing of them through some means. Also, from now on, I am changing Rabia's name minorly so that it will be Ravia from now on. This was her original name changed to a more modern one, but it is just too similar to another character on this site, so I will change it.
  25. I was previously half-squid and half-human, and now I am half-Quid too! What a joyous occasion it is to be here, with my sibling quidlings!
