Rankings and rewards for the Coliseum have been updated/reset for the month of June. Chip and Dale seem to be the theme of this month's Coliseum, so the rewards are all about Chip and Dale! The new Coliseum boards contain avatar costumes based off Chip (not Dale) and other rewards include Chip and Dale medals, Cid medals, and 3 Scrooge McDuck medals (Poison, Sleep, and Defense Boost I for the male board, Poison, Paralysis, and Attack Boost I for the female board). There is also a bonus board available with a large amount of Huey, Dewey, and Louie medals! In the new ranking rewards are Chip Ears for your avatar, which will be awarded to those in the top 100,000 places in the Coliseum Ranking, so be sure to give the Coliseum a try this month! There are other rewards available (Chip and Dale medals, Cid medals, and Scrooge McDuck medals), but the Chip Ears stand out. Best of luck to you!

As some of you have found out, a new raid boss has been introduced in KHUX. It appears after completing either of the Adamantite Quests. A "farming" strategy for this raid boss would be to complete mission 57, mission 57 again, mission 10, and then either of the Adamantite Quests. If you have any questions about farming this raid boss, feel free to ask them here!

The Weekly Union rankings are in, and Vulpes takes the top spot yet again! This should be the final suspended ranking, so the rewards for the next rankings will be back to normal. Make sure your party is set to earn a lot of Lux this week!

Right now, the only way to get jewels is to buy them with actual, real world money or by logging in to the game every day.

Reverse Medals are now available in KHUX. Reverse Medals are simply medals with characters generally associated with the Darkness or who are considered villains in the Kingdom Hearts lore. Here is a full list of all the new medals available with today's update: Sephiroth Illustrated Sora & Pals Cerberus Pain & Panic Hades Alice KH CoM Namine Pinocchio Hag The Queen Timeless River Pete These medals, and the epic medals introduced in the last Epic Medal Carnival can be pulled in this pack, which is available from 5/27 - 6/2. Note: Sephrioth and Illustrated Sora & Pals can ONLY be acquired in this medal pack.

Update: As of 5/30, the adamantite quest for Three Wishes is now available until 6/5. As of 5/27, Keyblades can now be upgraded to +21 (excluding Olympia). To do so, you'll need Adamantite Ores which can only be obtained through the new Adamantite Ore challenge quests. The first available Adamantite Ore challenge is available from 5/27 through 6/5, and the second will be available starting 5/30 and go through 6/5 as well. After that, two new challenges will be available every week. Even if you miss one of the challenges, you can wait for the challenges to cycle through, much like the daily Special Quests. In the same breath, the reason these Adamantite Ores were introduced is because of the addition of Reverse Medals. Once you reach +21 on a Keyblade, in addition to the attribute type (Power/Speed/Magic), medal type (Upright/Reverse) will also be a factor in equipping medals to medal slots. Matching both the attribute AND the medal types will result in huge multipliers! In the picture below, the yellow slot is an Upright slot, and the purple slot is a Reverse slot. If the medal in the Upright slot is both Magic and Upright, then the multiplier will be x1.6 as opposed to just x1.4. If the medals in the Reverse slot is both Power and Reverse, the multiplier will be x1.75 as opposed to x1.4.

According to a new notice that popped up today (5/26), it seems as though Solo and Party rankings will go back to normal starting on 5/30, and Coliseum rankings will follow on 6/1. This comes after a large influx of hackers made the rankings completely unfair to those actually taking the time to gather Lux and spending real-world money to make their characters stronger. For a time, rankings were suspended and everyone received the same rewards, but it looks like rankings will be competitive again starting on 5/30.

It looks like the hacking issue is being resolved! These numbers are a lot closer and a lot more realistic than they have been in the past. That said, the rankings are still suspended until further notice, and Vulpes has taken the top spot yet again.

A new event is available in Kingdom Hearts Unchained χ NA centering around Snow White and the Seven Dwarves. These event quests allow you to earn Snow White medals and Seven Dwarves medals. The catch is that these medals can only evolve by using the same medals (similar to strengthening special attacks) - for example, if you want to level up a 1★ Snow White to a 2★ Snow White medal, you must combine two 1★ Snow White medals, and so on. This event goes from 5/20 to 6/5.

I'm kind of curious to know what you all would ask series director Tetsuya Nomura or co-director Tai Yasue if you ever got the chance. Let's keep away from questions about Kingdom Hearts III since they'll most likely never answer a question about it anyway lol

Starting today, for KHUX NA players who purchase the discounted 3,000 jewel pack, a new daily quest will be available. This daily quest lets you earn up to 3 Cid medals a day, which is great for lowering the cost of your 6-star medals! The daily quest will expire the Sunday after you purchase the jewel pack. Again, the catch is that you must purchase the $15 jewel pack to unlock this daily quest.

To clear things up: It is likely, but not confirmed, that SE will NOT have their own conference this year. The above point does not mean KH will not be presented. KH3 was announced during a Sony conference, so there's no reason to count it out of being at a Sony conference again. SE does have a booth space available. Does not mean a conference. We have absolutely NO confirmation about KH3 or KH2.8 being at E3. As Leamax said, it was taken VERY MUCH out of context. I talked to the man who held the interview himself and he clarified for me. They announced their conference in April last year. But, you're right, seems like they won't be having one of their own this year.

Without any new Story missions, the only other way to get jewels without buying them is logging in every day to get the daily login bonus.

There is a new medal draw in KHUX NA the week of 5/13 - 5/19. This draw includes Epic Medals which are extra powerful and rare, and they all start at 5-star level. They can also be strengthened to have a Level 3 Special Attack Bonus. The new medals include: Black Coat King Mickey Zack Aladdin KH2 Kairi KH CoM Black Coat Riku Final Form Sora The draw guarantees a 5-star Epic Medal and gives the other 9 medals in the draw a higher chance of also being an Epic Medal. Black Coat King Mickey also comes with the Attack Boost II skill, so you'll be lucky to get him! The draw costs 3000 jewels. Good luck!

Now, that said, I still think KH3 won't be coming until WAY after March 2017 lol

Well, we discussed this as a news team when we made our article about this. Just because KH3 and FF7R aren't in that document doesn't really mean anything. They probably didn't want to include this in their fiscal report because they do not want to spoil the release date/window. They were probably left out to avoid any sort of drama.

From May 6th to May 12th, a new medal pack is available for purchase in Kingdom Hearts Unchained χ NA. The "Big Deal" gives you 10 medals at a discounted price (2,250 jewels as opposed to 3,000) and gives you a Huey, Dewey, and Louie medal, which gives a HUGE EXP boost to a medal of any attribute (Power, Speed or Magic). Take advantage of this deal while it is available!

I'm not saying I don't expect it to be there, but we don't have a confirmation on it. From a news standpoint, I can't report on anything.
