I'm going to agree. I find myself just traveling around blowing stuff up and liberating towns as opposed to doing story missions. But it is a lot of fun!

Classic FM is holding their annual Hall of Fame poll where people from all over the world can vote for their favorite classical composers and musical pieces. Among these composers and musical pieces is Yoko Shimomura and her work from the Kingdom Hearts series. You can cast your vote here. If you wish to vote for Shimomura, simply type "Yoko Shimomura" in the search bar, and click on "Kingdom Hearts". A dialog box will appear confirming your vote has been cast. You have three votes total, so feel free to vote for other favorites as well! Last year, Kingdom Hearts finished at an impressive 30th place in the top 300 classical works collected that year. Let's help Kingdom Hearts rank even better this year! Click here to view the article

Hey guys! Here is my video response to the recent news about Jim Cummings (voice actor - Winnie the Pooh, Tigger, Pete, etc.) being finished recording for Kingdom Hearts III! What are your thoughts on this? Let me know in the comments!

I had someone tell me that they don't understand how people can play video games all the time, and that they just get fat and lazy and don't do anything with their lives. I can't stand when people do that. I'm not going to speak for everyone here, but video games are an escape for me. The real world sucks sometimes, so after working all day, I go home and play video games. So what? Yeah, I'm not skinny and I can be pretty lazy sometimes, but during my work day, I feel like I work hard, and I work nonstop (I'm a teacher btw). It's one thing to not be interested in video games and have no desire to play them, but don't talk down about others in a passive-aggressive way because they happen to enjoy them. What are your thoughts on this? Have you met people like this? What is your reaction? There's a lot more I have to say about this, but I have neither the time nor the energy.

Are you currently binge watching a TV show on Netflix?

Are you currently binge watching a TV show on Netflix? I wouldn't call it "binge watching" but I am trying to catch up on Arrow, The League, and Orange is the New Black. -
This may be a long shot, but is anyone on the forums going to E3 this year? It turns out that the people who would normally go to E3 to represent KH13 cannot make it this year/have other plans, so I may in fact be going as the KH13 rep! This isn't official yet, but it's pretty likely! So, have you gone? Will you go? Do you WANT to go?

I feel like Marty is a bit of a prude lmao but I'll take his word for it, and there's no excuse for it being abhorrent to women (though... it IS porn, so what did he expect?)

I find Tomb Raider: Anniversary outdated and boring

It was fantastic. If you liked the first one, you'll love this. Keeps everything great from it, and improves on it in every way. -
lol if only that was the real Kojima...

100 Acre Woods Confirmed?
Toominator replied to Swish's topic in Kingdom Hearts III & Kingdom Hearts III Re Mind
Hey guys, just wanted to let you know that the News Team is aware of this rumor, but we are hesitant to share it for a few reasons. The first of those reasons is because the official panel with Jim Cummings is happening this morning (January 9th, 11am Mountain Time). Not sure just how likely it is that a) a celebrity guest is there for the day they are not scheduled to be there and b) this random user had a chance to run into him and talk to him. No pictures or anything. Also, Voice Actors really don't know much until the final stages of the development process (i.e. Bill Farmer saying KH3 was coming in 2015). Unless a person is under contract (Haley Joel Osment, Jesse McCartney, etc.) they probably don't know until much later in the process that their character is involved. He may or may not be under contract because he voices Pete, but I doubt it. We will see if there is an official video or write-up after Jim Cummings' panel this morning. Thanks all! -

I'm not saying there are too many Icarus games... I just don't like them and would rather see his talents used elsewhere lol -
Would you like to have a free demo of KH3?
Toominator replied to SnowPint7Fourths's topic in Poll of the Week
I feel like it would be a Rocket League situation for me. I got the game for free via PS Plus, but I feel dirty just taking such a great game for free. So, I've vowed to purchase every bit of DLC that comes out for Rocket League. I'd feel the need to pay Square SOMEHOW for KH lol -

Hey guys! Check out my review of Rise of the Tomb Raider! http://kh13.com/forum/topic/93847-toominators-rise-of-the-tomb-raider-review/

Hey everyone! Today I would like to share with you my thoughts on Rise of the Tomb Raider, published by Square Enix and developed by Crystal Dynamics. I would like to preface this review by saying I will not spoil any of the story, and if you did not like the 2013 reboot, Tomb Raider, then you will not like Rise of the Tomb Raider. Now, if you did like the 2013 reboot, then you are in for a treat. Rise of the Tomb Raider keeps common elements from the previous game: gorgeous environments, upgradeable skills and weapons, and a thrilling, action-packed story. It has been debated as to whether the story becomes too predictable, but I'll say that I did not see the large twist coming, so the story kept me on-edge and wanting more! Aside from bringing back the enjoyable elements that made the previous game great, Rise of the Tomb Raider introduces just a bit more. The most notable of these additions is the inclusion of side quests, or extra missions. There weren't that many, so it did not get repetitive, and the missions were different pretty much every time. It was an interesting addition. Aside from that, combat was much more fluid and crafting weapons/ammo was simple and made gameplay that much better. Lastly, the greatest improvement is the much more tame action. Let me explain: In the first game, it seemed that every jump you make would lead to some disaster in which Lara goes through a near-death experience. It seemed really over-the-top. That doesn't happen nearly as much in this title. Really, the only gripes I have with the game are the occasionally wonky movements (it took a few tries to get the jump placed perfectly to climb the wall, etc.) and the fact that ammo/crafting materials are WAY too plentiful. I never felt the urgency or desperation to collect materials because I was always in full stock. Also, the fact that I could craft ammo means that there really didn't need to be ammo lying around every corner. Other than that, the game was very enjoyable. In conclusion, if you enjoyed the first, you'll love Rise of the Tomb Raider. They didn't fix much, which is fine, and the things they did improve on were for the better. Verdict: 9.4/10
