  1. Maybe I'm alone in this but I'm really hoping for a new Crash Bandicoot game to be announced at E3 this year. This year marks the 20th anniversary of the franchise and with all the recent talk about the franchise and references to it in other games (Uncharted 4) it would be the perfect time for a reveal such as that.
  2. The 19th century is a personal favorite of mine, mostly because of the first industrial age. From Napoleon to Queen Victoria, I love it all.
  3. I'm curious about it and I'll no doubt try it out one day but I don't have any interest in buying it.
  4. The only real easter activities that people do in my country is eat large chocolate eggs filled with multiple types of candy inside. There are no egg hunts or egg painting sessions and special easter dinners are rare. The older generation might go to church but I don't know any people that do.
  5. That's probably the case most of the time but not always. I've experienced people at my school that considered themselves real gamers despite only really playing 1-2 games. Once when I was in middle-school I signed myself up for a sort of "course" that was geared towards gamers. In the course gamers would come together to do all sorts of activities and have geeky conversations and such. Unfortunately when I got there I discovered that about 95% of the guys that signed up for it were casual gamers, that is, people who in most cases only played CoD or Counterstrike and yet considered themselves dedicated gamers. Needless to say this irritated me immensely and I got bored of the course after about 2 meetings. So I can completely understand if Zeldablade has experienced any irritation in regards to an overabundance of casual CoD gamers.
  6. I'd love to see Lea and Aqua in new outfits. Riku and Kairi too although that's pretty much guaranteed to happen. I'd also like it if the new Organization would use different outfits. I mean the series has been using these same black cloaks for their characters for 13 years now.
  7. I personally loved it but I will admit that I'm a sucker for any game that's more built around story than gameplay. I've heard some people say that they don't like it due to the lack of said gameplay and I can completely understand that. For me the game was an emotional experience that I could completely immerse myself in rather than a game with goals or obstacles. It's about exploring the world and getting to know the characters, not about, say, going from point A to point B, killing enemies, leveling up or collecting points. I was a teensy bit disappointed by the ending at first but with time I've come to appreciate it for what it is. The intro really affected me as well as I have 2 family members that are suffering from the same problem.
  8. As a game I thought it was ok. As a story I think it's the very best in the series. So as a whole I love it but I won't be replaying it anytime soon. I don't think I've played it for about 4 years now.
  9. Sundays to thursdays I usually go to sleep somewhere between 11:00-12:00PM. During weekends?...maybe...2-3AM.
  10. Yeah, it looks awesome. Like Kingdom Hearts minus the Disney elements, just pure FF. I think it's pretty fascinating.
  11. Xehanort, always and forever Why? Well mostly because of his elaborate schemes that have caused nearly every negative event in the series' history. He's also either manipulated the other villains of the series or he IS the other villains. That and he's voiced by Leonard Nimoy. Can't go wrong with that.
  12. Sounds interesting but truthfully I'd never even heard of the show before I saw these news about it
  13. I always buy physical copies of games unless they're only available in a digital format. I think it's much more satisfying to be able to hold the game in my hands and if I buy a game digitally I won't truly feel like I own a copy of it.
  14. It's a tough call but I think I'll go with 2.8's logo. Black and purple are my favorite colors and I think they blend together very nicely in that logo.
  15. I agree, the development of KH3 has been developing slowly and the HD collections could be a major reason for that. Then again we have no evidence of that to my knowledge and there could be other major reasons for it. The HD collections will without a doubt be released on the PS4 one day. Nomura has said that KH3 is the next title in the series so my guess is that he'll release a complete series collection in, say, 2018 or something along those lines. Maybe they were being idiots when deciding to just release 1.5 on the PS3 that's possible. However, I don't have much knowledge of their development plans for the collections so there could just as well be a very good reason for it. Who knows? As some have pointed out already, Xbox has very little presence in Japan and is probably at the very back of Square's mind. Is it stupid to not release it on those consoles? Yes, in a way. But you have to keep in mind that Xbox sales are very bad in Japan and it probably has more to do with Square Enix's business decisions than it has to do with the KH3 team and Nomura. I doubt that it even occurred to Square and Nomura to release the collections on Xbox. I never looked at the Days and Coded segments of the collections as movies, just a collection of cutscenes, similar to the other games' 'theatre mode'. It's sole purpose was to keep people up to speed with the story and I think it did a fairly good job in that respect and I highly enjoyed them personally. It did bother me that Days cut out many action scenes but I was happy to see that they fixed that problem in Coded. Overall I have nothing against these "movies" as some of you call them and I like having them around so that new fans can easily get into the whole story. Well, when you say it like that it sounds dumb but the idea itself in its essence is fine IMO, in fact I'm very excited about it. One of the things I love the most about the series recently is their focus on the lore of the KH world and this "movie" is nothing but an expansion of that lore, showing us events from a thousand years before the series, before the worlds all got separated. Also, it'll be in KH3 graphics, what's not to love? I respect your opinions on this matter and I agree with you on some points but like other people have said, this article is very opinionated. So I'm sorry you feel this way, I guess Also, I wouldn't use this timeline image to show that the story has become complex. Every single remake is also on it so of course it seems unbelievable convoluted. Remove them and it's not so bad.
  16. Considering that the other HD collections were released in the autumn/winter I wouldn't be surprised if 2.8 HD will follow the same route. I can imagine it being released in July at the very earliest but I'm not getting my hopes up for that. It'll probably be around September.
  17. Nah, I'll most likely buy it sometime after it's released. I'm still saving up for a PS4 (at a very slow pace mind you) so I don't count on being in the position to play the game until late 2016 at the very least
  18. If they have both returned to being their former selves I'd wager that Xehanort will try to do something to prolong his life. He desired a younger body because he wanted to see what awaited "beyond the Keyblade War" which could last for many, many years. So just using his old body would be risky since there's no guarantee that he won't die of old age before that time.
  19. Personally I'm hoping that Terranort is the one who was revived instead of MX and that he'll be the final villain of Kh3. I'd rather fight Xehanort as a younger, faster and more powerful beast rather than Xehanort in an old body that he disposed of in BBS. It kinda ruins the primary point of that body transfer if he just reverts back to his older self.
  20. I expect I'll keep with my traditional style of a KH remaster playthrough and play them in the pre-arranged order.
  21. Hmm...let's see. Here are a few ideas. Shere Khan - The Jungle Book King John - Robin Hood Ratigan - The Great Mouse Detective John Ratcliffe - Pocahontas Yzma - The Emperor's New Groove Long John Silver - Treasure Planet Dr. Facilier - Princess and the Frog Emperor Zurg - Toy Story Lots-o-Huggin' Bear - Toy Story Hopper - A Bug's Life Randall - Monsters Inc. Syndrome - The Incredibles Davy Jones - Pirates of the Caribbean Loki - Marvel Cinematic Universe Darth Vader - Star Wars Emperor Palpatine - Star Wars So...yeah. There are quite a few to choose from
  22. Oooh, that's a really neat idea and it's such a simple one. I'm actually quite surprised with myself for not having thought of this before
