  1. As Steve and Veemon were working throughout the school day, many things were on both of their minds. Steven was still thinking about what they should do in terms of the two young Digimon. It would be difficult to keep them away from the outside, even with Veemon on guard duty. He figured this would become unavoidable indeed. Veemon, on the otherhand, still had a lot of serious and important thoughts in his head. He also knew that Tsunomon and Koromon would be able to run away if he was to prevent them as much as possible, if they attempted to escape. This chain of events was far too coincidental. Veemon and Steve both looked at each other and said things at the same time. "I'll watch after them." Veemon said, "You watch them while I'm gone." Steven said. And right then and there, Steve and Veemon knew right away that they truly were DigiDestined partners. "Oh, it's almost time to go meet up with Seth. I better get ready then." Steve packed some of his Digimon playing cards, a bottle of water, his phone, and his greyish blackish New Nintendo 3DS XL in a red and black backpack. While he was putting his cards in, though, six of his Digimon cards slipped out of his Deck Box, each being Champion levels of some Digimon. There was Greymon, Garurumon, Growlmon, Gatomon, Kyubimon, and ExVeemon. "Guh, why are they flying out of-?" He quickly picked them all up and put them back in the box. "Alright, I'm gonna go. Take care, guys! And please don't run off, okay?" Steven said as he slipped his backpack on. Veemon nodded and waved to Steve as he was leaving. "Alright, see you later Steve! Have a good time, alright?" He said. Steven walked out the front door, and headed towards the school, where he was gonna meet up with Seth.

  4. As Alvin was walking into the room with Veemon Kyoko, Kyoko was passing a cup of coffee to Veemon. She then looked up and towards Alvin, "Ah, well speak of the devil." She said to Veemon. She then took the papers from Alvin. "Hmhm, thank you, chipmunk." She teased, as she was in on the joke with the secretary. Kyoko then placed the papers on her desk, and sat down once more. "Alvin, meet Veemon. He is going to be your new partner on the job." Veemon turned around to see Alvin. He was the man that he saw rush out of the building earlier. "Partner?" Veemon said, a little concerned, but understands her reasoning. "Hi, I'm Veemon. Nice to meet you, Alvin!" He said towards Alvin, nodding his head.

  9. There was a warm sensation in the air as Veemon opened the front door of his apartment, getting ready to leave for his first day on his new job: a detective. He had just changed out the battery for his Misfit Flash, and so it should be at full charge for the day, hoping it will last for the next week or two. " *inhales deeply* Ahh... Maybe things are gonna look up again, today..." Veemon said to himself, with a small red and black bookbag on his back, feeling super light. In his bag he had a small, professional-looking notebook, his phone, and, of course, his wallet. As a small Digimon with a tail and all sorts, he did not have the body type to wear clothing, let alone ones with pockets, so all he could do to help it was a bookbag that fits his size. Veemon had now left the apartment, closing the door and heading to the stairs. This apartment building was interesting because the hallways were not inside, but interconnected around the outside, so you could see outside and to the streets and other buildings. Veemon's apartment was on the fifth floor, so he had a long way to walk. Luckily, the building was never too crowded, so he could head downstairs uninterrupted. As he was leaving the front doors, he quickly waved to the receptionist lady at the desk. "Hey there! I'm finally heading to my new job! Wish me luck!" Veemon said as he opened the doors. She waved back in a young teen girl fashion. "Okay, see you later, Veemon! And good luck!" She cheered to Veemon as she was waving back. Veemon left the building, and heading down the street, towards the Detective Agency. Surprising enough, it was on the same street and on the same side as his apartment building. As he was walking, he saw a man walking out of a building a few blocks down. He was carrying some kind of envelope. He looked like he was in a hurry. I wonder what he's doing, Veemon thought to himself. He shrugged his shoulders and continued walking. It turned out that the detective agency was the exact same building that the man came out of. "Huh... That's weird..." He said to himself, taking a good look at the building before walking up the stairs. Veemon looked in slowly, making sure it was the place. He saw a few desks, as well as a coffee machine and many stacks of important-looking folders and files. "This must be it..." He opened the door fully, and walked into the office. "Hello? Anyone here? I'm here for the detective job application." He looked around, seeing nobody. There was a pretty decent amount of lighting in the office, even just from the windows. Suddenly, a voice came from behind Veemon. "Oh, you must be the one I discussed with on the phone." As Veemon turned around, he saw a tall figure. It was a woman with blonde hair and hot pink sunglasses. "Kyoko. Kyoko Kuremi. I will be your boss from now on. Pleased to make your acquaintance." Kyoko walked towards Veemon and held out her hand. Veemon was a bit startled and confused, but accepted her handshake. "Uhh... Yes, I am Veemon. Pleased to meet you, too." They both walked towards Kyoko's desk, the largest one in the back, with a computer and a deep black chair. "So... What's my first task?" Veemon asked, before Kyoko then interrupted him. She sat down in her chair, with her hands held together on top of the desk. "I shall get to that. But first we must wait for Alvin to arrive. He needs to know about this as well," she said in a calm, yet serious tone. "He never seemed to be this late before. But I suppose that's like him, of course."
  10. My brother is starting to believe he's losing his touch in a few Video Games. My 7+ wins in Sm4sh on his B-day and my 4-coin margin victory in Mario Party 5 must be getting to him... xD

  11. "Your partners...? Hmm... I don't know for certain." Veemon responded, laying down on Steve's soft, dark blue bed with his arms laid outwards. "I guess... If you guys both appeared before us, and not just anywhere, maybe it means something like that." Steven slowly opened the door, carrying a few bags of candy. There was a large chocolate bar for each of them, and some of Steven's favorite pieces of candy: Twizzlers. "Okay, you guys, here you are..." He placed the candy bags down on the floor next to each other. Pausing for a moment, he then scootches the two bags a little bit away from each other, for inarguably good reasons. Steve walks over to the bed and sits on the side of it next to Veemon. "Welp, there goes my extra supply of Twizzlers..." he sighed. Veemon sat up and patted him on the back. "You did good, Steve." Veemon nodded. "Hey, how about we do some more work for now? We'll think of something." Steve looked up, and nodded as well. "Yeah..." The two both got up and headed back over to the computer, getting back to their schoolwork.
  12. Both Steve and Veemon sighed. Now they had a whole bunch of problems on their hands: Not only did they still need to work on their American Government work, they had to take care of two more bellies. And not just any bellies, Digimon bellies. Their appetite is always big when they are young and single-minded. And, if left unfed, the Digimon can become very violent and terrifying. Steve and Veemon looked at each other in disgust, then turned back to Tsunomon and Koromon. "Huff... Fine, I'll go get you two something to eat. Veemon, you make sure they don't make a mess." Steve walked out of the room and headed to the kitchen to look for some food. "Okay you guys. You heard Steven; don't make a mess. We still have lots of schoolwork to get done, so you better behave well," Veemon spoke proudly and with authority. He then walked over to the door out of Steven's room, and closed it. This was to make sure the little Digimon didn't run off.
  13. My brother turned 18 a few days ago. He's still the wacky, wonderful older brother I know and love. X)

  14. Okay, I knew about the 13 Royal Knights in Digimon, but wow, I can't believe how I missed these guys! Having those guys around really make stuff interesting! (Totally boss that two of them are Veemon forms, and the RK founder was Imperialdramon Paladin Mode.)

  15. Steven grew interest about the two Digimon. They were the very first Digimon he has seen in real life ever since Veemon appeared three years ago. When they showed their digivices, both Steve and Veemon were curious about them. "Digivices...? Veemon, do you know about these?" Steve asked Veemon, picking up one of their digivices and examining it. "They're... Phone-shaped digivices..." Veemon said nervously. "Steven. There's something I never told you." Veemon sighed, accepting that the time has come to tell him about the digivices. "You already know about the digivices, from the Digimon tv series, right? Well, you see... You are supposed to get one. The reason you never got one before was that it wasn't time for you to learn how to truly use it." Veemon spoke clearly and seriously. "And also, I'm... your Digimon partner!" Steven paused, looking up at Veemon. Then, he started to smile. "Veemon. There's something I haven't told you either." Veemon silenced for a moment to hear what Steven had to say. "... I knew." Steve gave the digivice he held back to Koromon and Tsunomon. "But we'll talk about that later." Veemon gasped, wanting to continue talking it over with Steve. However, he understood what Steve was saying now. "Right. So, Koromon, Tsunomon. If you came from the Digital World, and are looking for your partners, what brought you to us?" Veemon thought it would be easier to communicate with the child Digimon, so he spoke up first. "Oh, I guess we should introduce ourselves. I'm Veemon, and this is Steven." "Oh yeah, that's right. Nice to meet you!" Steve greeted the two Digimon.

  17. Did somebody say... V-RAIN??? *watches as DDR arrows fall from the sky, destroying stuff*

  18. As Steve was sending the text, Veemon heard something moving. It was coming from under the bed. "Hey, Steve... You hear that?" Veemon whispered. "Huh?" Steve turned around and saw two little balls hop out from under his bed, one pink and one orange. When they came out, he was surprised, and when they spoke, he was startled. "Huh?! A Koromon? And a Tsunomon?! From the Digimon card game?!" Veemon was just as surprised as he was. "What?! They're here? Now?!" Veemon was thinking of something far greater than just these Digimon appearing. Oh no... Is it closer than I thought? Veemon thought to himself in fear. "I-I mean, where did you guys come from?!" He asked the two Digimon.
  19. An hour passed since Steve and Veemon started working on their first assignment. For some reason, the connection to the internet and sending texts has been a little rough lately, as the immense amount of digital traffic has been jammed due to the number of people in the city with their phones and laptops. "Man, I know that they're probably in class and all, but I hope Seth got the message." Steven sighed. Suddenly, his phone went off, and the sound played, specifically the one that plays whenever he gets any notifications. "Yay a new friend!" This was said in Veemon's voice from one of the Digimon movies. "Huh, might that be him?" Veemon sparked a small amount of curiosity. Steven heard Veemon, but he was also smiling from the notification sound, again. "Hmm, let's see." Steve tapped the side of his phone, pressing the power/wake-up button. He check to see what notification it was. There were two that appeared: one was from Seth's cell, and from another number... It wasn't one he recognized, nor was it one that anybody could've expected to see. 343-666-4444 Steven was a little confused, but was curious about this message. Oh man! What on earth? Steve thought to himself, realizing what the number meant. The triple six was the devil's number that is widely known, while the quadruple fours was the unlucky or unholy number in Japan. And Steve pondered for a moment, but figured out that the 343 meant DIE, since those are the letters that are found on the 3 and 4 keys on the phone. "Veemon? I got two messages. I got one from Seth, and one from this really messed up number." Steve told Veemon in a nervous tone. "What? A messed up nu-" Veemon paused, remembering something very important. "Steven," Veemon spoke, "Whatever you do, do not read, don't delete, and don't reply to that message." Steve was scared now, but trusted Veemon's words. "Okay... I... I won't mess with it." Steve said. "I'll at least read Seth's okay?" Steve quickly opened up Seth's text, and read out loud: "We'll See." Suddenly, another one popped up. "Oh? It's also from Seth. He said: 'Sorry about that, man. Something came up in class...bullies.'" Steve felt less tense now. He sent a quick reply to his friend: "Cool, and be careful. Don't worry, you'll see me. I'll be in a dark blue T-shirt."

  22. Happy Valentine's Day, everyone! I don't want any of you to worry, but I'm gonna sign out for a little while. There is something I must take care of before I say anything else. See you all later! ;)

  23. As Steve and Veemon were opening up their first assignment for the day, Veemon was still thinking about Steve's friend. He wondered what he looked like, and what secrets he might be hiding, if he was hiding anything besides his name. "So what's your friend like again?" He asked Steve. "Well, his name is Seth, and we met online in a forum for the card games we play." Steve responded, making simple hand gestures. "Yeah, he actually goes by the username TABRIS online, and while I haven't talked to him much, it sounds like he is willing to trust me with his true identity, or at least his name." Veemon nodded in understanding. "Ohhh, so that's the connection..." Steven nodded back. "Oh, I almost forgot. Veemon, could you go get my phone? I need to text him to remind him that we're gonna meet up." Steve points over at the top of the clothes drawer, where a smartphone with a blue, glowy edge resides. "Oh, sure thing." Veemon hops up from his spinny chair and quickly snags the phone, rushing back to Steve. "Here you go." Veemon smiled cheerfully. Steve then took his phone from Veemon, and pats him on the head. "Thank you!" Steve smiled back, and after a little bit, he quickly turned on his phone and began typing a text to Seth. The reason he texted instead of calling is because, well, Seth was probably already in class. Steve made the text quick and short: "Hey Seth. We're still meeting up after school? Let me know soon." Steve then hit send. "Alright, let's just hope he gets it in time." Steve put his phone in his pocket, and looked back up at the computer. Veemon was already zoned out from being patted on the head by Steven. Despite his capability to focus on most things pretty well, he has a soft spot for being petted and being shown love and affection, especially from his closest friend Steve. He doesn't really know what to say or do when he feels that happy. But after a little bit, he came back to his senses, and looked over at Steve. "Oh, uh, right. We'll see what your friend says." He agreed. "Let's get to work now, shall we?" "Yeah, let's." Steve agreed in return, and the both began reading the lesson pages.
  24. Well, I wouldn't say I don't get anything on Valentine's Day, but the things I get aren't exactly my favorite things to get on V-Day. I'm grateful for the stuff I get from my grandma and my mom, but it's always this neutral feeling... If I did have that special someone in my life, though, the best gift would be to spend the day with them. It wouldn't matter if they got me something or not, as long as I could spend Valentine's Day with them, it would make me happy. Rock on!
