Story "Please leave this meeting", Chairman Donald said, "Everyone except the council". About one hundred people got up and left the room, one by one. Today was the first meeting of the year and as customary for all first year meetings, the Council would meet in private to discuss different things that they would hope to accomplish for the year without having the presence of the people influence their decisions. Chairman Donald stood up. He was now sixty-eight years old and wasn't the soldier he used to be. Instead of carrying a gun he now had a cane that assisted him in walking around. "I hope you all were able to read the classified information of Project Reborn", he said. The council nodded their heads slowly. Chairman Donald was now at the age where even if you agreed with him he was willing to restate his wishes just for clarity. "Project Reborn", Donald said, "Is our last hope for the human race as we know it. It has been almost twenty-four years since we predicted a food shortage will occur and the prediction still holds true. We have to find other locations to where we can send our children to have the ability of raising their own children. Which is why Project Reborn suggest that we send a small party of specialized people to explore the terrain outside of the walls. Everyone agree"? The council was in no place to argue it had already been declared that something like this was happen. Avoiding the inevitable food shortage was impossible while still residing in the walls. Still, how did they get to where they are, right now. *** For the past 500 years, the last known people of Earth have secluded themselves within a city they call The Citadel. The Citadel was created to protect those inside and keep other things out. It is surrounded by a Great Wall that reaches seventy feet high. It was built after a deadly disease called Reiborne almost destroyed humanity. The survivors decided to come together and live peacefully within the walls. The only people who have been recorded to leave the Citadel are criminals who are banished, due to their deeds againist society, never to return again. The Citadel was a major success and the city prospered becoming a small civilization. It was divided into five different sections: the Center, Living Quarters, Agriculture, Industry, and Research. Each area has two representatives on the council for a total of eight on the council. The Citadel then elects a chairperson over them all. By secluding themselves within the wall for so long, the humans have lost contact with others outside the wall. Resources are also limited so the Research section is constantly looking for ways to increase the number of resources that they have such as water, stone, and gunpowder. Technology is relatively advanced but is limited. Due to the resources the Military gets the first pick of all technology while the Upper Class can get theirs through payments. The one resource that have eluded the people is food. During the 450th year, they predicted a food shortage will occur within the next fifty years. You have been chosen to be apart of a special expedition to explore different locations outside the Citadel. Robert Lion Vershire Forest "I'm sorry but I am too weak to focus my magic", the girl replied. Robert looked at the Angel, "Well I guess your right, she has to be an enemy". Robert walked to a nearby tree and rested. He would have to get medical attention swiftly just in case he was bleeding internally. Suddenly the beast started to move and a strange voice said, "Aether levels dropping. Now initiating Solar Aether Anthrax Alpha". Gas covered the entire battlefield. Robert cursed to himself maybe if he wasn't injured he could move faster away from the blast. He breathed him the fumes which was a strange smell to him. He slumped to the ground. Sleeping Gas.

Robert Lion Vershire Forest After stabbing the monster repeatedly, the monster started to fall to the ground. Robert quickly jumped and landed in a tree. Robert climbed down from the tree and put his sword back in its sheath. Robert saw Nero fall on his knees. Why is he on the ground we won the battle. Robert surveyed the battlefield. He saw how the forest was in total desolation. The other warrior who had the power of void also had his head in his hands. That is when Robert remembered that their mission wasn't to kill the beast but to get some type of resource. By the forest being destroyed the resource was probably gone with it. A tree fell causing to break Robert's intake of the field. A small girl emerged from the brush and fell in the warrior's arms. She claimed to be a healer and the Angel was questioning if she really was a healer. Suddenly a pain erupted in his ribs. It must've been from the crash to the tree he sustained. He held his ribs and walked up to the girl. "Excuse me but if you really say your a healer can you mend my ribs", Robert asked, "I think I broke them". Leah Lion Unknown Location Leah started looking around her cell, she had to find a way to get out of the small containment. The front only had six bars for it was that narrow. And at the bottom was the place where food could be slid for her. And she had a small hole where she could sastify nature's needs. Other than that there were no way out except through the gates. She clapped her hands. "Yes Ms. Lion", the servant asked. "Do you know when Damon would return", Leah asked. "He should be back in the morning", the servant replied.

Robert Lion Vershire Forest Robert was not good at skydiving. He read books about how men with the help of angels were able to complete the feat, however Robert had no intention of becoming one of them. Nero had launched him very fast and it would be hard to stop the impact. Robert could draw his sword and go straight through the beast's membrane but he had no knowledge where that could lead him to. Robert quickly did a flip and cast an Air Spell to cushion his fall as he landed near the beast's membrane. Robert did drew his sword and started stabbing repeatedly on the beast. He dug his boots into the beast's skin and was ready for the ride as he continued chipping away at the membrane.

Robert Lion Vershire Forest Robert watched as the man with void powers continued to distract the beast. The orbs of energy didn't do anything but continued to irritate the beast. The angel was still flying throwing orbs of energy towards the sun blocking it. He said something but Robert couldn't make out what he was saying. Nero soon came towards Robert with arms outstretched. "Need a life", the man asked. Robert nodded and jumped and grabbed Nero's arms. Nero had a plan and Robert didn't know what it was. Hopefully he wasn't going to be Chimera chow. Leah Lion Unknown Location Leah needed to find a way to get out of here. She was currently locked in chains which made it hard for her to move. She clapped her hands. "Yes, Ms. Lion", the servant asked. "I would like to speak with Damon", Leah requested. "I'm sorry Ms. but that is not possible he just left", the servant replied, "Can I get you any books to read or food to eat". "No thank you", Leah said, "Do you know where we are". "I honestly wish I could tell you but even I don't know".

Robert Lion Vershire Forest Robert cursed to himself. He was only human with no special powers or abilities if anything all he could do is throw fireballs or something. The others were using their powers to block out the sun for some strange reason. Robert felt useless but he knew he had to do something others it would be hard to earn their respect on the battlefield. He picked up his sword and started running towards the Chimera again waiting for it to make a move.

Robert Lion Vershire Forest As Robert started running towards the giant beast, it stomped on the ground causing multiple fissures to form. Robert carefully navigated through the pieces of broken earth but as he did so his path was altered he was now on the sidelines. Neko had jumped in the air and the angel started to fly. The man with the void power quickly threw some of his power in a cutting motion. Robert knew that the void would erase anything but could it erase this monster? The cut went deep into the animal and it started to scream louder. Robert knew that his sword would not be deep enough to cut off its legs but multiple cuts with one final cut should do the trick. Robert ran towards the hind legs of the beast. Quickly he started cutting pieces moving almost in the form of a dance. The beast screamed with anger. Robert barely made a scratch on the beast. The beast then swung at Robert with its leg. Robert tried to dodge it but was not fast enough and ended up being sprawled into a tree trunk knocking the air out of his lungs. "Crap", he said. He was sure that he broke a few ribs but he had to push through the pain. Robert slowly stood back on his feet and prepared for the next strike. The beast was still standing tall even after the damage that Robert and the other man did. Perhaps Nero could help them more. Leah Lion Vershire Forest "So your going to...train me", Leah slowly asked. "Yes", Damon replied as he gestured for the tray of food. Leah slid it through the hole. "Train me to do what", Leah asked. "To use the Seeker's Eye and Magic", Damon replied taking the tray of food and giving it to the servants. "Why do you want to train me", Leah asked. "Young lady you have a lot of questions", Damon said getting closer to the cell, "And trust me, all of them will be answered in due time for now your chains will be released and you will learn more about the Seeker's Eye." Damon slid a book through the hole and walked out of the room. Damon was right so many questions were moving through Leah's mind, why is Damon going to train me and who wants to train me. Leah moved towards the book and picked it up. The pages were tattered along the edges which showed a lot of usage for it. She opened it and started reading. The book described a group of people called Seekers, Guardians of Time. They could travel to the past and the future and were responsible for preventing major events that could cause total annihilation from occurring. Soon however, one Seeker wanted more, his name was David. David wanted touse his powers for selfish gain. The Seekers had a pact to only see the future of others and not themselves to prevent them from learning how they would die so that it would not prevent them from doing their job properly. David used this to his advantage by leading a charge and killing almost every single Seeker. Soon the Seeker blood was tainted with other races causing the powers to be a recessive gene, which made it harder for people to actually have it when they were born. Leah closed the book she had almost read half of it. Who were the people that are trying to get her to use her powers for evil.

Robert Lion Vershire Forest The man stared at Robert. "You know, I have a gift of figuring out if someone is being truthful, and that sounds like a lie to me." The man said. "You're Robert Lion! You're the man who has been causing trouble these past days. But let me guess, something you love was taken away from you, wasn't it?" How did this angel know about him, Robert wondered. He made an effort to cover his tracks. Still if the rumors are true then the army of Samaria is still looking for him as well. He did not see any wanted posters bearing his name or picture which is also weird. "Quick, put on that armor, join our ranks, and we can talk later. Just don't kill anymore of our troops! We may be able to help you find what you have lost. And even if they won't, I will." The man said with a smile. He then took to the skies and left Robert to be by himself. Robert was dumbfounded he was ready to fight this guy but he offered to help him. Robert still could not trust him and chose to not hold the angel to that promise. Robert thought and knew that he would have to change his name to cover his identity because if anyone realize who he is , it could not only place Robert in danger but also Leah. Robert looked down at the uniform he was wearing, Julius Thomas. The name was weird but it would have to do under these circumstances. Suddenly, a mighty roar was heard throughout the encampment and soldiers from either sides were running away in fear. All that was left were Nero, the angel, and two strange men. Suddenly, a chimera appeared almost 25 feet tall. The chimera was an atrocious monster so it was hard to tell what animals were apart of its origins. The monster had fur and feathers. Truly it was a major work of science but it almost looked like a failed experiment. Robert calmly walked over to the group of commanders. With sword drawn he said, "I think we should go for its legs to bring it down to our level". With that he charged towards the monster going straight for the legs. If he could prove himself in front of them he would be that much closer to saving his sister. Leah Lion Unknown Location "How do you know I posess the Seeker's Eye", Leah asked worried. The Seeker's Eye, the ability to see certain aspects of the future. They are normally no more than ten people that have it and most are killed as soon as their secret is out. The Lion family made it their mission to hide the fact that one of their own had the ability. Being killed was really mercy because they had certain people who wanted to use their power for evil causing a lifetime of pain and torture. "There are a lot of things you do not know, but you don't need to know it", Damon replied as he took off his hood revealing his face. Damon was relatively young with long hair tied in a ponytail. His face was beautiful for a man and one could almost confuse him for a woman in the proper light. As he moved closer, Leah spotted a long scar running along the right side of his cheek, obviously he was a veteran of war and battles. "Where am I", Leah asked, obviously this man had the answers and she intended to get as much understanding as possible. "That is one of the things you don't need to know", Damon replied with a smile, "What I can tell you is that you have been in a semi-coma for the past three days and you have finally awaken so you must be thirsty and hungry". Damon snapped his fingers and a servant came and brought water and bread with a side of butter. Damon took the tray, thanked the servant and pushed it through a hole in the cell that had the function of transferring food. "You are our guest here so from now on I will not be calling the servants to feed you or give you drink", Damon said, "Just clap your hands and a servant will come to give what you ask for". Leah looked shocked, where was she? Was she really a prisoner? Or a guest? "So who are you Damon", Leah asked taking the butter and spreading it on the bread. "Well my name is Damon Guf", Damon replied almost bowing out of courtesy, "My past is irrelevant, what does matter is I'm responsible for overseeing you and training you in different magics but the main purpose is to teach you how to control the Seeker's Eye".

@Scrapmaster Oh Heavens no far from it, Robert will definitely not take Johnathan on the dude is throwing out freaking void balls everywhere. I don't know if you read my character sheet but Robert is very smart so we (Robert & I) have absolutely no plans of coming after any of you all until he has a clear advantage.

Robert Lion Vershire Forest Just as Robert was about to put on the helmet, a man fell from the sky but landed perfectly behind him. "Careful there, you don't know what you are doing. You can't just come attack our troops and then expect to join. It doesn't work that way." The man said as he then pulled out his dagger. "Now, don't get any more funny ideas. You are not one of us, if you try to kill us. Now tell me your reason behind the killing?" The man said with a strict voice. Robert turned around slowly and took a good look at his new enemy. The man was no ordinary human like Robert, instead the man had white hair and a black wing on his right and a white wing on his left. He was an angel. Robert was strong but how can one kill something that is neither dead or alive. Robert knew that with those wings even if he ran he could still be caught. By what the man said he had to be on Samaria's side which made this even more dangerous. History only made Angels even more mysterious so Robert could not find a way appease him with certain phrases. Robert also did not know how much the man saw which could mean that he could say anything or not say anything. Robert dropped his sword that was the first step of earning this person's trust. "Don't worry friend I am on your side", Robert said, "These men are traitors to her majesty. I was employed to deal with them before we join the fight and then to continue under Nero's command. I don't want any trouble we are on the same side and I would like to keep that way". Hopefully this man would believe Robert and if not Robert would be ready to fight, after all he had a sister to save. Leah Lion Unknown Location Leah was trapped, stuck, utterly left hopeless. She allowed the weight of her body to bring her to the ground. She quickly tried to recollect over what happened and what could possible happen. *Flashback* It started like a regular day with her parents there. Robert was away since he did own his own cottage in the countryside ever since he moved out but he still constantly visited them. Right after breakfast men clothed in Samaria garb ran inside and demanded to see Leah Lion. Her father, Richard, quickly jumped and grabbed his sword in an effort to protect them. Normally Richard was known to be able to deal with twenty to thirty men. This day something was different, Richard just came off a job and was recovering from a near fatal wound and he was slow. The men quickly dispatched him and left him on the ground barely breathing. Leah tried to cast a spell but a man ran behind her and held a sword to her throat. The men asked again for Leah Lion. "I am her", Leah said in an effort thinking it would make her parents safe but as soon as she said that, the men killed both of her parents before her. "There are suppose to be four people in here", a man said, "Where is your brother". "I don't know, I swear", Leah said. "No matter", the man said, "leave a note on these corpses. Damon let's get Leah ready for her journey". *Flashback Ended* "That's it! Damon," Leah shouted. Out of no where a man appeared in front of her cell. He had a long robe resembling a high level Mage. "You woke up", the man said, "Leah, Wielder of the Seeker's Eye". (C'mon WakingDawn96, I had the perfect plan and you had to ruin it lol. Looking forward to seeing how this scene plays out.)

Robert Lion Vershire Forest As Robert started moving through the forest dodging a lot of different animals he came across a small party of Smaria Soldiers, he knew that they were planning an attack as he killed a few earlier and found out their plans maybe it had something to do with Leah, he thought. He pulled his sword out and let out a long sigh. There were only six of them and he knew he would have no problem killing all of them without having them raise an alert. He spotted out the leader and planned to interrogate him on any infomation he knew. The leader wasn't the overall leader of the attack but any infomation would be useful. Quickly, Robert jumped from the trees and had his sword land on one of the soldiers head as he pulled it out he let out a small fireball and bured the other's eyes. Before the soldier could scream Robert sliced his throat. He moved to another two and swung his sword down knocking one of them off their feet. He brought his sword down stabbing the soldier in his stomach. One soldier charged at Robert he quickly jumped and kicked the soldier in the head twice before letting his steel taste the soldier's flesh. Four down two to go. The soldier beside the captain started to draw his sword, Robert quickly ran over and with all of his might choped the soldier's arm off and brought his sword to the soldier's head. The captain was moving away now. Robert pounced on the man and brought his sword to his flesh. "Where is Leah Lion", he asked. "Who", the captain replied. "No use", Robert whispered as he sliced the guys throat. Robert put his sword back in its sheath and looked at the mess he made, he has allowed his rage to take over these past days and by doing that he is leaving an expectation that others could use to try and find him. Robert looked in the sky as a flare went up perhaps Nero, the main man in charge, decided to attack. Robert hoped that he could go through the back maybe he could kill more of those stupid Samaria Soldiers. As he started moving, however he saw a man with void powers being charged. The man jumped in the air and threw the orb of power to the ground causing an explosion. Robert knew about those powers as he was the son of an excellent Historian. Robert took a step back to recollect. Robert could probably take down the guy since every person has a weakness however he could not take him down as well as the soldiers at the same time. Robert looked at the dead soldiers thinking. Maybe he could join them and rise through the ranks surely he could find his sister easier even reducing the casualties. He has been looking for her for the past three days maybe he was time for a different course of action. He moved to the soldiers and took off their armor very carefully and put them on. "Hang in there Leah", Robert said, "I'm coming for you sis". Leah Lion Unknown Leah woke up in chains. Where was she? Last thing she could remember was her parents being killed and her being dragged away. Then there was a strange man who made her drink something causing her to sleep. She looked around no one was there she had a window and the sun was just rising. She tried casting a spell but was unable to do something. She looked at the walls and realized that they must've had some special mineral causing her magic powers to be negated. She was stuck. (Sorry for Robert's post being so long and Leah's so short. I don't know how fast you all post so I don't want Robert to constantly be catching up with the rest of you guys)

Name: Robert Lion Age: 21 Appearance: http://www.deviantart.com/art/The-Black-Swordsman-290141208 Personality: Robert is a calm person who only talks to those that he has let in. Due to the nature of his past life, the only person who have been in his personal space are his mother and sister. His sense of right and wrong is clouded and it will constantly be shown in the RP. Due to the promise to his mother, he is willing to do anything to protect his sister whom he watches over constantly. Robert would be willing to let five people die as long as it makes his sister safe. This makes Robert a dangerous man because if anything steps in between the two Robert is willing to pay any price. Robert is also extremely intelligent and have a fine understanding of history due to his mother being a historian. Race: Human Bio: Robert was born to Richard and Linda Lion. One day while living in Samaria a group of soldiers came to their home under the condition that Robert's sister Leah was having visions of future events. The soldiers killed both of Robert's parents and kidnapped Leah, Robert was away on an errand and found out through a note that said that they would be looking for him. Because of his background of always looking out for his sister, he promised that he would find her and kill the people the that took her. Race: Human Bio: Leah was born to Richard and Linda Lion, a mercenary and historian respectively. She mainly was around her mother learning a lot about history and philosophy. Due to this she has a strong sense of values that usually leaves her with no choice but to help those around her. She soon learned that she was blessed with a unique gift called the Seeker's Eye which allows her to see certain things that are going to happen in the future. She had already predicted the war and both her parents knew that her power could be used for evil so they banned her from using it. Due to this she does not know how to control it and often times it comes out of nowhere or in her dreams. Only on one occasion did she have it during the day by predicting that her brother would catch a fish but also named what type of fish, how big it would be in height and weight, and even named the place where the birthmark would be. Robert saw this and encouraged her to practice more but Leah was afraid of what their parents might say.
