  1. Henry and his spirits paid attention to Ceres's explanation of where they were, something about being chosen into the 'Haven' and what not, as Ceres explained the situation Henry pondered a bit, staying quiet after she explained he didn't need the map anymore, which caused Henry to turn to look at each of the spirits present, Salamander shrugged, Sylph just ignored him completely and flew away, Undine shrugged as well, Gnome was still hiding inside Henry, always shy that one. Sylph flew right towards Ceres, hopefuly not startling the iron clad woman as Sylph began touching and grabbing her hair gently, playing around with it. "Her hair! Its like silver!" She said excitedly, like a child. Causing Henry, Undine and Salamander to do a simultaenous and facepalm. "Sylph what'd I tell you about messing with people's hairs?" He asked her, to which she then stopped, but looked rather sad at not being able to play with Ceres's hair. But it took all of two seconds for Sylph to regain her excited self and beginning to fly around again. Soon enough, they were approached by a rather unique looking individual, by the name Hoggart Brookloss, to which Henry smiled, "Nice to meet you Hoggart." He greeted him, as Salamander and Undie nodded in respect to the man. "My name is Henry, I am somewhat of a swordsman, you could say. But I guess im more of a spirit wielder, if that's the right word." He introduced himself, and adding a little comment about himself and the spirits. "This is Undine." Henry spoke, gesturing to her by his side. "Greetings" She spoke, "this is Salamander" Doing the same to her. "Hey there.". And this is...uh. He was going to introduce Sylph, but she was right up on Hoggart's head, messing with his hair. "It's so scruffy!" She spoke, excited again, quickly floating to his chest area and looking at his breathing apparatus. "What is this?" She asked. "And...that's Sylph." Henry spoke shrugging. "I would show Gnome, but she's shy and doesn't appear much." he finished. "Now what's this about a Magic Seeker? And are there any others I should meet?" Henry asked him.
  2. Henry, and the spirits beside him, casualy turned around as they heard someone's voice they didn't recognize, a woman, fully clad in armor, the type of armor that could withstand a few blows and still be fine to continue fighting. "Oh Hello" Henry greeted her, before shrugging, map still in his hands as he did. "Hate to admit but, yeah. Im lost." Henry admited. "Not really a surprising sight." Undine taunted him, to which he simply smirked towards her. "Like you're any better with directions." He snarked back before turning towards Ceres again. "I could use some directions, more importantly where we are and what is this place." Henry told Ceres, hoping the armor clad woman had an answer. Sylph was too distracted looking around like a curious child and Salamander was simply silent. "What's your name, by the way?" Henry asked her.
  3. Understandable, i was worried about that actualy, i'l edit the images and post the face shots only, if Im able to later. For the moment I've taken down the images As for room 101, Henry is so used for dimensional shifts his stomach doesn't even feel anything anymore.
  4. "I think I might be lost." Henry exclaimed as he arrived near one of the entrances of the Haven. Wherever it was, Henry simply wandered in, he does now know how he did it, if he was brought there or not, he just got there. All he can really remember was waking up in a strange, but tidy room, numbered 101. He didn't feel anything from the dimensional shift, hell, he didn't even notice it, he had just left his room and tried to find where their location was on the continent map. "You think?" A voice rung inside his head, bemoaning him for losing his way again, as a woman, with the shape of an mermaid, appeared beside him in the shape of water, the spirit of water, Undine. One to judge his decisions a lot, but always somewhat supportive, she simply looked over the map as she floated beside him as he walked past the room with number 142, not noticing Ceres in the room as he passed by. "Any ideas?" Henry asked her, showing her the map more clearly, as she shrugged. "Don't know, I don't think i've ever seen this place." "Oh, I know!" A childish voice spoke as she came out of Henry as well, this time a shorter, fairy girl, flying in front of them. "Its just like one of those ruins we've been to! remember!" Her answer was met with frowns from both Henry and Undine, who looked at each other and back at the wind spirit. "Very...helpful, Sylph!" Henry spoke to her as she did a happy pose in the air as she floated around giggling. As Undine sighed. These antics were common, then again, living with 4 spirits inside of him was always a fun experience. "Should we keep moving and find out?" Another voice spoke to him, appearing beside him, in the shape of a woman, this time the fire spirit, Salamander. "Yeah, that seems like a good idea." Henry spoke to her, still holding his map in his hands as he moved onward, to a random part of Haven, until he met someone, or someone came to him.
  5. - Henry, Alastor, Alicia, Typhon and Mikhail - They're all sick of this - Isolated City of Isopolis - As Yevgeni handed Nergal the source of all life, he'd have to be very quick with his reflexes otherwise his hand or arm would be struck by a very precise, and all the more deadly bolt of lightning, from Alastor's finger, aiming to disarm him. None of them had time to admire the surroundings, Alicia prepared to cast spells, but she needed to prepare before hand, Typhon just sat back for a moment, scratching his head as he saw the chaos unfold. "So much for dialoguing, huh?" Typhon asked his Witcher friend, who was right beside them. "Quick! The Source!" Alastor shouted for Helios as he was already going after it. Alicia, Alastor, Henry and Mikhail did notice some things about their group, Rhea for example, taking over Thane's place, Henry came to find her incredibly cute but he didn't say anything, not did anyone else, they figured questions were for later, Typhon was completely none the wiser, far as he was concerned it was still Thane. Alicia, however, shouted to Jynn. "Jynn stop! if you let your anger take control of you you'l only hurt yourself! Control your anger!" Alicia shouted towards him, trying to get Jynn under control, even if it would just fall on deaf ears. Henry moved as Elia showed him Alex's journal and his body, he simply walked up to him, silent, Kneeling in front of the body and putting a hand on Alex's shoulder. "May you find peace, wherever you are, Alex." Henry spoke, his voice not sounding different considering his body's new gimmicks. Even Everyth came to speak about him, to which he sighed. "I've lost more than you'd think there." He commented dryly, as he then turned to look at what was happening between Yevgeni, Nergal and the others who were attacking. "Yevgeni YOU PATHETIC FOOL!" Henry screamed from the top of his lungs, as he said so his aura flared up, with massive pressure in his surrounding as even small rocks began to levitate around him from the sheer intensity. "You say you wish to keep the peace, to follow along your delusional king's legacy?!" Henry screamed some more, "Yet you sacrifice an entire world FOR YOUR SISTER?!" Henry screamed in disbelief, "Is that what she'd want!?" He asked, and at that moment everything stood still, time itself stopped, Henry looked around for a second before realizing. "Ariana's time powers..." He muttered to himself, he must have activated it without knowing, or just from pure rage. He began to walk foward, everything was still frozen in time, as he walked towards Nergal, behind him, as time began to resume, Everyone would notice Henry's position changing from in the middle of the group to behind Nergal. Henry reered back his hand and thrust it foward, aiming to deliver a punch so powerful, aimed at Nergal's kidney area, if it landed, the impact itself would vibrate Nergal's entire body from the sheer force, but also with an extremely likely chance to obliterate the man's kidney if it landed in full, But that was not all. With his other hand, Henry charged an orb of energy, should Nergal be hit by his kidney punch or dodge to the side or back, Henry would swing it forward, but the orb would absorb itself onto Henry hand, and it would send out a massive foward cone of deadly energy at Nergal, in a shotgun like blast. "I gave you a chance! I gave you both a chance to turn things around!...i've had it with you two!" Henry shouted, He was no longer holding back, Henry was fully ready to kill both of them if it meant claiming the source of all life and saving the world below. "I refuse to let you squander our chance to make things right again I won't let either of you use the source!" Henry spoke, his aura only getting stronger and stronger. "I will, crush both of you if I have to". (Maxis's post comes in a short bit)
  6. Character Sheet: Name: Henry Marksis Age (optional): 23 Race (optional): Human Appearance: Personality: Henry's quite the noble character, he is respectful and charismatic to his allies and those near him, he has his moments of cockyness when he uses his powers but all in due control, he despises injustice and others stepping onto others, angering him is not something you wish to bring upon yourself. Henry is fiercely loyal to those he seems as friends, protecting, standing up to, and assisting them all the way through whatever hardship comes along. He has a distinct taste for a good fight, and always seeks an opportunity for a consequence free match, although he doesn't like to instigate fights. During serious combat is extremely focused and silent, his personality changing completely to fit the situation, he throws away any restraint over his power and goes all out, with absolutely no mercy to his enemies. Biography: Henry was raised and brought up by a common peasant family, in a poort village. He was always a strange kid, with innate dark magic coming off of him like he was a source of it, he was always under close watch and care. During his teenage years he learned fencing, and basic swordsmanship from travelers that visited his village and the guards who lived there, even though with his dark magic he'd never fit in as a guard or find a reliable job, and he knew that. He wanted to be an adventurer for that reason. However his life changed when his village was destroyed by the demon lord's army's campaign of conquest, he took up arms and tried to defend his village, to partial success with his destructive dark power, but he failed, most of his people killed, and the ones who survived, blamed him and shunned him because of his power. He set off to find the "Demon Realm Alliance", which aimed at stopping the Demon Lord's conquest. His main exploits were claiming the long forgotten sword, the Mercury Blade, and gaining the favor of four elemental spirits, who granted him elemental powers to combine with his dark ones. Henry became a well renowed and respected warrior of the Alliance, quickly going up the ranks and earning several titles. But the most prominent and the one he liked the most was. "Elemental Vanguard" Attributes: Dark flux (Enhanced affinity to dark spells and resistance to said elemental damage) Enhanced Phisiology (Balanced increase in strenght, speed, and reflexes), Elemental Variable (Meaning this passive changes depending on his elemental style, note he can only have one element based passive at a time.) ( Earth: Sentinel's Might: 35% damage reduction from Physical and Magic, as well as a 50% strenght boost, but at a 50% speed and agility loss). (Fire: Spirit Aflame: 30% damage physical and magic damage increase) (Water: Serene Mind: Massive evasion bosst, with the added effect of defense penetration on his attack) (Wind: Wind Dance: Massive increase to agility and speed.) Abilities: Elemental Control: Darkness, Element Shift (Henry can switch between the elements he was gifted with, he can only have one spirit element up at a time, more than that and his body cannot handle it for long). (Fire style AKA Chaos Reaver: Fire elemental mastery and Physical Enhancement: Strenght, Dexterity and Magic Aura) ( Earth Style AKA; Dark Sentinel: Earth elemental mastery. Physical Enhancement: Defense, Strenght and Regeneration). ( Water Style AKA Soul Reaper: Water Elemental mastery, Enhancement: Reflexes and Agility, and spiritual affinity) (Wind Style AKA Raging Storm: Wind Elemental Mastery, Massive agility and speed increase.) Weapon: Mercury: Signature Move: Elemental Spica: Henry focuses for a brief moment, and gathers all the powers from the elements within him, entering the Elemental Storm Style: Granting him all the elemental based buffs. This causes tremendous strain on his body and he can only keep the state up for a few minutes at most. Ending with an Elemental Outburst which unleashes all his imbued elements and darkness into a devastating attack.
  7. "Quite the stockpile" Daniel commented on the area he and his team were now in, everyone sharing a mind link with each other, courtesy of yours truly, to better communicate, his senses more or less numb from the two glasses of the extremely strong spirit drink, which's alcohol rate was of around 86% of pure alcohol. Meaning he'd be able to keep the link up and running for a while, also keeping contact with Solomond considering the comms were still down. "Let's not endanger the civilians, i'd rather not be branded terrorists, we're already outlaws." Daniel commented on Adamina's plan. As he turned to Tibarn, and pulled something out of his suit, a small, circular device, of dark red color, with a button shape in the middle, if one pressed it it'd emit a small beeping sound, which was useful for drawing attention. "Here, its a lure. Safer than an explosive if you want to draw attention." Daniel told Tibarn as he handed the lure. 'Solomond, we're in a cargo bay of sorts, multiple ships here, some bigger and fancier than others, any idea which one we're looking for?' Daniel sent a mental message to Solomond, wherever he is, this message would echo to everyone in the group, meaning they would all hear, and could all talk with Solomond as well. Surely the power of alcohol was miraculous when it came to psychic abilities.
  8. - Talus Vanhir - The Eye of the Void - "So you're just common mercenaries?" Talus retorted back at her as she explained of her and her people's interests, disappointing, really. Mercenaries never quite sat right with him, you either had ideals or you weren't worth the time to him. He simply glared at her, narrowing his eyes as he stared at her, with mild disgust in his tone. "So, you're just common thugs for hire, then forget I said anything, you're just not worth my time." Talus spoke to her in a completely digusted tone. Before she turned around to walk off. Talus barely moved as Omicron's hand shot towards a chair, and her body, either concioussly or unconcioussly swung it at him. He simply raised an eyebrow as. With his eyes he casted a small void orb onto the chair, miliseconds before impact, the orb exploded in a miniature explosion, disintegrating the chair as it turned into void particles, taking the opportunity Talus reached to grab her hand and hold it. "Oh?" Talus questioned, his eyes serious, as the particles from the chair soon moved towards him, his body soon absorbed them, to recover what little void magic was used in the small explosion. He earned the nickname 'Eye of the void' for his use of spells cast from his eyes, he is able to cause void explosions and other effects just by looking at something and concentrating, if the situation's right of course. Talus looked at her eyes, noticing her shocked expression, he simply let go of her hand with a shove foward. "Guess your body isn't exactly yours, huh?" He asked her.
  9. - Typhon - The Cyph - New Trial - When Xeno fell, Typhon was the most excited person in the room, even as Alderon cut the beast open for the Gem Typhon just approached it eagerly to use it on his evolution. "S'cuse me" Typhon spoke as he used his armblades to cut a hole on the Dragon's corpse's stomach...and crawl into it, activating his evolution process as the others figured out the puzzle for the door. They'd hear the tearing of flesh, rending of bones, blood gushing out, every gory detail would be heard, and seen if they dared to look behind them, regardless. By the time they opened the door, Typhon had already evolved, into a form not much different from the one he held now, but with draconic energy outlines and armored "veins" pulsating with purple dragon energy as he walked confidently into. And before he knew it, which he didn't. He was alone, he couldn't see the environment due to lack of eyes, much less notice the mirror and his body double coming out of it. "You must surrender what you ho-" Before it finished its sentence Typhon stumbled right onto it, he couldn't feel its presence as it was probably magical, but this caused both Typhons to stagger and stumble to the ground, as his body double would also notice...he couldn't see either, they then spent several minutes trying to find the other, hands outstretched trying to touch the other, when they would, the body double repeated its words as Typhon chuckled. "And you think I have precious possessions? buddy, i've lost everything I ever cared about, and now I have to tag along with the people whose's race was the downfall of mine, and others who barely know or care about me, trying to save a worthless world that is at war more than at peace with itself and I HAVE TO LIVE WITH THE FACT I'L NEVER BE ABLE TO BRING MY PEOPLE BACK!" Typhon shouted back at his body double. Who remained silent, simply "looking" at his direction. "You know what?" Typhon spoke, as he held out his hand...and pierced his own torso with it, recoiling and twitching in pain as he pulled his literal, beating heart out, much like a human's heart, but a bit smaller. "There, take it." He held out forward, in the wrong direction to his double, as the double missed grabbing it a few times before finally being able to. "You may pass..." It spoke as it disappeared, as Typhon then began to walk in a random direction, seemingly none the worse for wear... (Typhon has sacrificed his heart...good thing he has three hearts.) - Alicia - The Grimoire Wielder - Sacrifice Trial - Alicia walked into the empty, white space with the mirror, she hesitated, stepping back as her double walked out of the mirror and uttered the ultimate words. stammering her words as she spent several seconds thinking up what she could sacrifice. "I have so many things I care about...why must you take it from me? Haven't we sacrificed enough?" Alicia asked the clone. "You cannot proceed without a sacrifice" Alicia's words fell on deaf ears as the clone simply denied her. Alicia closed her eyes, as he moved her hand to her grimoire, which sat at her waist, a small tear rolling down her eye, the grimoire was all she had to remember her "father", what connected her to her true lineage and blood, he grabbed it within her hands and extended her arms, offering it. Even if her father was now here, and she knew who he was now, she still treasured his childhood gift to her...even if he had abandoned her...she still cared for him somehow. She quietly walked off afterwards, frustrated and sad. But all the more determined to finish this now, and make things up...with her father. (Alicia sacrificed her Grimoire, her sole means of learning more about the ancient dragon history and magic, and her only keepsake of her father.) - Alastor - The Bringer of Storms - Alastor's expression did not change as he walked towards the enchanted mirror, nor did he move as his reflection walked out of it, and grinned. As it asked him to sacrifice what he held most dear. "That is not an easy thing to do..." Alastor spoke, his tone...regretful? "I have sacrificed great many things in my life, my life as a Dragon Hunter...my tribe's honor, my arm..." Alastor monologued before stopping completely, complete silence for a few seconds. A steady stream of tears began rolling down his eyes, "But my worst mistake was leaving my daughter, leaving her to fend for herself because of my foolishness and irresponsability, And yet now, that i've finally met her...I am proud of what she has become...but I am still ashamed she grew up without someone to look up to...not that I am the best role model." Alastor spoke looking straight at his clone's eyes. "Take any connections I have with her...those are what I hold most dear." Alastor proposed. As the clone simply walked towards him and brought a hand to his forehead...moments afterwards Alastor would feel as if a piece of his brain was burned, and as his memories began to disappear, he struggled and recovered from the pain as the procedure finished, and the clone and the mirror disappeared. Clutching his head with one of his hands, he walked off to finish this once and for all. (Alastor sacrifices all of his memories and connection to Alicia, leaving any sort of reconciliating impossible). - Mikhail - The Witcher - Sacrifice - "Oh great" Mikhail snarkily replied as his reflection, now turned clone asked him for a sacrifice. "Why do I always have to bargain with supernatural beings? I never even wanted to be here...but fine." Mikhail spoke as he pulled out his pendant, and handed it to the clone. Which soon disappeared. "I hate you Thane." Mikhail spoke, as he walked off. (Mikhail sacrifices his pendant in this rather short section...sorry) - Henry - The Ultimate Sacrifice - Henry soon found himself alone, yet again, this time in a white void, with a mirror, and his reflection walking out of it. Great. But then it asked him to give up something precious. "What?" Henry stammered as his clone walked out of the mirror, seemingly in shock at the sudden request, hasn't enough been taken from him? hasn't Isopolis tortured him enough? Maybe it was payback for him using it in the mind trial?. Henry's hands turned into fists, as he launched one towards the clone, which easily blocked it. Frustrated Henry stepped back, in anger and disbelief. "All my life I have been a peon, I have been a tool for war and murder...and when I finally decide to change that, and try to save the world...all that I find is immeasurable pain, sadness, regret, anger and sacrifices." Henry began to speak, frustrated and confused. "My actions led to the death of my family and friends, those I cared about, I have no more posessions to give away. Not even my minds is reliable as It plays tricks with itself" Henry spoke to his clone, who simply remained silent while staring at him. Causing Henry to slowly, but steadily recompose himself. "I've made a promise...both to myself and those I care about, that I would sthrive to protect the others and the worlds, to the best of my ability, as long as I lived." Henry began to speak, with full resolve and conviction in his tone. His hands shaking. "So take my life then..." Henry spoke, proposing complete suicide to his clone. "Are you sure this is what you wish to give away?" It spoke back, its tone neutral and merciless. "Yes." Henry spoke, as he'd feel his life force being sucked out of him, his very soul being drained of life as well, the process was the worst pain he had ever felt, his body twitched and recoiled from the pain as it was all drained, right into his clone's hands, the moment it stopped draining him, Henry quickly let out a sigh...and fell foward onto the ground, staying motionless and lifeless... As the clone and mirror disappeared, Henry remained on the floor, for what seemed like minutes his corpse stood there...But then it moved. His heart began to beat again, his organ returned to work, his brian shot up, sending signals to all parts of his body that he was not dead yet, as he slowly began to get himself up, weakly, weary and woobly, as his aura began to emanate around him, it was what was keeping him alive...the extension of his willpower was what kept him alive now, he used his very energy, his very willpower to power up his body and maintain it functioning. "I can't...just die like this...I've come too far to let it end now." Henry spoke, with a flash of crimsom light, a green, pulsating aura appeared around his chest's heart region, signifying it was now what fueled him, his eyes glowing with power as he began to walk foward. "I will only die...after I finish this." Henry spoke, with conviction in his voice. To face the Source. (Henry, having not had enough sacrifices apparently, sacrifices his OWN LIFE, his very life force. Now being driven and maitained alived by PURE WILLPOWER.) (This also means his appearance now will permanently be with glowing eyes, and if sensed, one will notice he has no life energy anymore...only Aura keeping him alive).
  10. - Henry, Alastor, Alicia and Typhon - JOINT ATTACK, GO! - Henry gritted his teeth as he saw the chaos that emerged as the beasts powered up again, this wasn't good, but he needed to do something. First, he saw Helios lunging at the beast, holding it still in its basilisk form, it was then Henry thought something up on the fly, if his new power was energy projection and storing...could he change the energy projected for multiple needs? "Helios! A boost!" Henry spoke as he used energy to dash towards him, jumping into the air and placing his hand, the crimson energy aura turned blue as he transferred some energy right into Helios's basilisk's body, which aimed to empower him, hoping pure energy, converted into empowering energy would help him push the dragon back. If it did work, Helios would be enveloped by a dark blue aura of energy, empowering him greatly both magicaly and in strenght, as well as give him little resistance to damage. Henry soon afterwards spotted Raiden and Eclaire on top of the dragon, doing a joint attack of their own. "Let me in on that..." Henry muttered as he changed his vision to the dragon's stomach, taking the opportunity as the dragon was possibly stunned by everyone's attacks, or at least distracted, he unsheathed his sword, which was currently broken in half...from a longsword it made more of an arming sword at best, a short sword at worst, either way, the blade was still sharp, as it crackled with energy as he dashed right below Xeno, right opposite of the spot Eclaire and Raiden were attacking. Sliding during his dash as he stabbed the dragon's stomach with full force on the spot, channeling massive ammounts of energy onto his sword and onto the dragon as well. It aimed to meet the ice and lightning, and empower them with pure magic energy, increasing their powers massively, which would result in a massive internal explosion of ice and lightning, both empowered, from within it. Raide and Eclaire would also feel Henry's empowering energy reaching them, as it traced the current of magic right back to them, the casters of said spells. "You. Grimoire girl." Meanwhile Alastor spoke to Alicia, who simply stared at him. "Empower me with your elements, I will assist them in dealing the final blow." He ordered her, which she gritted her teeth, almost retorting back angrily, but recomposing herself before doing so, in such she began to concentrate and gather energy, as well as Alastor, whose aura was fully cloaked in draconic energy and lightning. "The fury of fire, The Endurance of Earth, The Sharpness of wind, and the Tide of Water, come to me!" Alicia chanted as four orbs, of their respective elements formed around her hand, floating around it with runic-like glyphs binding them, as she swung her hand towards Alastor, the orbs flew towards his back, all of them hitting it square on, Suddenly Alastor's energy was enhanced with the four elements, lightning and draconic energy. Alastor didn't mince words, he simply vanished in a bolt of lightning. And reapearing right at the ceiling of the arena, right on top of Xeno, as he launched downards in a spiral of energy, his twin swords aimed at Xeno's neck. "Northern Stinger!" Alastor shouted as he boosted forward, aiming to impale the dragon's neck with all elements he had been enhanced with. All the while Typhon just sat in a corner and just watched the scene unfold. "Im not getting anywhere near that mayhem of magic and destructive energy...Even with my exoskeleton i'l be evaporated.". He said, shrugging.
  11. - Talus - Destiny Island - Warehouse - Talus raised an eyebrow but didn't change his expression fully as Omicron soon spoke about who she worked for...or at least spoke about them, not exactly tell him who they were, still...he'd take what he could get. "Rather not cross anyone I wouldn't want to see dead or ruined. Your employers? I don't have anything to do with them." Talus retorted back to her with blank tone, raising another eyebrow as she told him to let het go. "Well? You're not in any chains, you were free to go the moment you woke up," Talus pointed out with a shrug and a neutral look. "Do tell those you work for this, though." Talus spoke, pushing himself off the wall he was leaned against. "If they want to strike against the empire, they need to go after those holding the strings, not the puppet whose's strings they hold." Talus spoke, before adding. Before staying mostly silent as he waited for her to leave first. "You know how to find me now that you know we share the same power" Talus finished.
  12. When they're back on the scene he can be found out, passed out, dead drunk on his bed.
  13. I just went along with Jake, I can edit my part to make more sense if needed.
  14. - Daniel - The Psyker - Rose's Grace - "I want a glass of your most potent drink" Daniel relayed to the guard, who had come to them asking if they had any drinks in mind. Strong drinks helped psychic abilities more than one would think, they helped relax the body, which was very helpful under stressful psychic situations, albeit it made things more unstable, but Daniel was very strong with drinks, so he knew he could take it. As he waited, everyone else relayed their plans mentaly 'If you say so Adamin' Daniel spoke back mentaly to her as she relied the situation, cutting her off from the mind link momentarily. A long range mental communication was hard, but he'd have to do for now. Concentrating for a few seconds. After a few seconds of concentrations, wherever Solomond would be, he'd hear a small whisper in his ear, from the back of his head. 'Solomond, do you copy? we've not been able to reach you through comms, so minds will have to do, we are currently at a private room on the Rose's Grace, anything you want to fill in?' Daniel asked Solomond, who'd simply have to reply mentaly back to him. After sending his message to Solomond, Daniel witheld the link momentarily to look at Jake. 'Give me a second Jake.' Daniel broke eye contact with Jake to stare at the Guard, the moment the guard turned his vision to him, he'd be hit with a psychic wave of control, wrasping around his mind, the feeling would be of relaxation, any hostilities he had towards the group would be gone, and he'd let Jake in. This effect would last a varying ammount of time, depending on how mentaly strong said guard was, as much as Daniel wanted a complete domination of the guard's mind, he couldn't do so without breaking the entire mental network between him and his comrades, and in the meantime talking to Solomond. 'Try talking to the guard again, see if it works.' Daniel told Jake mentaly. A visible drop of sweat began rolling down Daniel's head, from the stress of doing so many psychic things at once.
  15. - Talus - The Void Eye - Disney island - Warehouse - Talus watched silently, his expression unmoved by Omicron's reaction to her void magic being exposed by his and she not being able to answer his question, how did one not know how they came upon the power? did she forget? Or was she forced to forget? The mention of a person named Grek interested Talus greatly, but the man, cold as ice as always kept his expression neutral and serious. 'Come to think of it, there are rumors of assassins who apparently forget everything they've done after a succesful mission.' Talus thought to himself. Before hearing Omicron's question, it was her turn to ask after all. "I guess you've earned as much." Talus spoke. closing his eyes for a few seconds before opening them again with a sigh. "From the first time I died..." Talus spoke, his voice truthful and clear. "Killed by a fake keyblade, my heart didn't separate from my body, instead it broke apart, erasing itself and me. But I didn't stay that way for long, I came back." Talus spoke, his voice filled with ire and some rage as he spoke of the origins of his power. Before his eyes fixated on Omicron again. After waiting for Omicron to capture the information Talus had given her about himself, he fixated his eyes on her again. "My turn again. A simple assassin would never have gotten as close to the king as you, meaning you've got connections and had help...who do you work for?" Talus asked her.
  16. Henry's trial: - Henry, Alicia, Typhon, Mikhail and Alastor - The Second Phase of Xeno Jiiva - Everyone paused their assault and recovered their breaths for the few seconds Xeno laid there immobile, however Alicia's hair was still up, she was still uneasy, and her uneasyness proved correct as the dragon quickly jumped to life. "Oh firetruck me!" Typhon exclamed as he was hitby the beasts's explosion as it blew itself up to revived itself. Typhon sprawled onto the ground, and stood there for a second as he felt a strange effect on his body...which didn't do anything at all, unlike the others Typhon had absolutely NO magic whatsoever. So he got out scott free, aside from a bit charred exoskeleton. Mikhail was knocked back, but safely protected by the quen shield, still affected by dragonblight, however. He grunted in frustration as he stepped back and waited the effect out. Alastor immediately flared his tatoos back up to energize himself and his blades again, but without a real opening, and the creature's beam posing too much of a constant threat. Alastor couldn't do much, aside from steering clear from the laser. Same for Alicia, whom Jynn had just released, having saved her from crystals falling on top of her. "Thanks, Jynn." She spoke warmly, as she overlooked the scene. "Don't listen to it Helios, it's taunting you to throw you off" Helios would hear a familiar voice speaking to him before the following actions would happen. A figure would appear in a flash of a faint crimsom light, after images from the speed of his dashes as he appeared right at the ceiling of the arena, and slamming down on Xeno's head with a crushing downward slam, if landing it would deal extreme stun damage in order to stagger Xeno, but also open it for subsequent attack from the others. And possible interrupting the beam of energy "Sorry to keep everyone waiting. " Henry shouted at everyone as he quickly dashed off Xeno's head, directing himself beneath it as he charged a powerful punch to its torso, or at least the area right below the neck in order, a massive shockwave of energy shooting from behind Henry from the sheer power of the punch, to knock it back and stun it further, but at the same time leaving a small energy mark on the area of impact, which would explode in a large blast of energy a few seconds after. "Now's your chance to attack!" Henry shouted at everyone else to do the same. A faint crimsom aura surrounding Henry all the while. His power feeling different than before, it wasn't elemental now...it was pure energy. Typhon wasted no time as the chaos ensued. quickly running towards Jynn. And grabbing the man by the shoulder. "I believe I have a plan, say, you wouldn't be willing to stab me in the gut?" Typhon asked him, in a complete deadpan and blank sone.
  17. - Alastor, Typhon, Mikhail and Alicia - Xeno Battle - Alicia was more or less surprised and confused as the beast withstood her attack and everyone else's deflecting the blows and nullifying all of their attacks, it not only did that but it began to taunt everyone in the arena, especially Alicia, whose eyes widened as it began to taunt her. As she stepped back in surprise. "I have no family!" Alicia retorted as the dragon soon revealed to her, that it was Alastor, who was her father. The latter was silent after he dodged the beast's attack on him. She looked at Alastor with a hateful expression, before gritting her teeth and looking back at the beast. On the corner of her vision she saw Raiden, who was most likely waiting for the others to attack so he could take the opportunity to do the same, she was happy to oblige. As she held her hand up, raising it into the air slowly as it crackled with energy, soon enough five orbs of mixed elements, between fire, lightning, water, ice and wind, before swinging her hand towards the beast, as they shot towards it's head, each would explode on impact of their respective element, leaving a lingering elemental effect afterwards, the catch was that immediately after being launched the orbs would reform behind her and shoot again at it, this would repeat five times before stopping as Alicia focused arcane energy onto her sword and thrusted it towards Xeno, shooting a constant magical laser beam at it, to damage it and distract it further. "Now!" Alicia shouted, to everyone, to signal it was their chance to attack as one. Mikhail had survived his bomb's explosions with a protective shield of his Quen sign, as he gritted his teeth ,not much he had that could take down dragons. So he'd do something crazy, but hopefuly effective now that it was being pummeled by Alicia, he unsheathed his silver sword, casted a protective barrier around himself, strong enough to sustain one blow, heavy or small from Xeno as he rushed towards one of its legs, attempting to stab it with his silver sword, which would no doubt work well considering Silver was any monter's weakness, at least tempered silver anyway. Alastor stood somewhat silent as his tatoos began glowing again, as he summoned his sword back into his hands, and summoned his other sword and charged them with draconic energy (dragon element, you could say). Entering a battle stance he began slashing away from the beast's side with a flurry of slices, each sending out a massive, explosive dragon energy wave after the last, culminating in around 10 or so waves, each with enough intensity to crash a small mountain before finishing in a cross slash sending out two joint ones, effectively doubling the potency. It was well known to Dragon hunters that dragons were somewhat weak to their own powers, as none, not even them, were immune to their power. And amidst all the chaos and mayhem that would ensue, Typhon had been cloaked, running towards the beast from behind, and sliding below it before uncloaking, extending his armblades, coated in debilitating and highly deadly nerve poison, which had paralityc and poisonous effects and attempting to stab the beast's belly with it and injecting the poisons, AND shooting the armblades inside the beast's belly to further amp up the poison intake. If it succeeded, Xeno would suffer a nasty debilitating poison. That would no doubt weaken or even kill it.
  18. Daniel stood quiet and let his teamamtes do the talking...he wasn't the best at concentrating while at a brothel, at all. Psychic energy needed concentration, and well...allure and lust would definitely mess with it, regardless. THey soon went into their private room, whom Adamina paid 10k for, which was unecessary, but who knew what the bird woman was thinking? She looked out for them when they needed, thats all he could ask, and for that he wasn't going to question her much. Once they had gotten in there, and were just the three of them. Daniel approached Tibarn from behind and grabbed the back of his head with his hand. "Head's up." Daniel spoke sarcasticaly as he connected both their minds, quickly grabbing Adamina's hand, gently. And establishing a three way mental link between them. 'Suggest we sit on the couches, you never know.' Daniel spoke telepathicaly to them as he moved onto one of the leather couches. Making himself as comfortable as possible while still alert. 'So...whats the plan?' he asked them, the three of them could communicate freely with each other telepathicaly, within a range of roughly 35 meters between each other, it normaly 50 for a two way connection, but there's extra strain for more connections. 'Can't get Solomond on the line'.
  19. - Talus Vanhir - Destiny Island Warehouse - "Oh please." Talus remarked at Omicron's lie, seeing right through it. "I can feel the same energy coming from you, and you can feel the same energy coming from me a mile away. I felt it at the party, I feel it now." Talus spoke, crushing the orb within his hands as it vanished into a bunch of faint void particles. "Lets play game, I ask a question, then you do." He spoke, serious. as he pushed himself off the wall. "We've got the time, no one knows we're here, and the prince, if he is just like the idiot I remember him being in the past, he's scrambling, unsure of what to do. So no search parties as of yet." Talus explained. "My turn first, back to the question at hand." Talus spoke, raising a finger upwards as he walked closer to Omicron, letting his void energy spike so it would do the same to her, both their energies would spike in contact with one another's vicinity. Most notable by void particles appearing around him, and her, if she didn't suppress it. "Answer me, truthfuly, how did you come to posess this power?" Talus asked her.
