  1. "No please, I don't know anything, I swear!" The green haired Mage glared down at the Dark Mage. "Pathetic." She voiced her thoughts. Only minutes before the man was over confidently claiming that he was going to kill her and offer her death as a sacrifice for one of his Spells, and now he was begging for his own life. Still, even if he had worked with them, he wasn't one of the scum who had killed her uncle. Ah well, she would turn him in then. With enough evidence that even if the court was rigged, he wouldn't be getting out of prison any time soon. "You are going to give me all the details on any victims or witnesses of yours that might still be alive. You will then write a complete written confession in front of three people and give a spoken one to the judge. Lastly, you will give me the names of any other Mages who have worked under these employers that you know of." He wouldn't bother trying to escape if they found out he was a rat, prison would be safer. And if he didn't comply, well... Taria Adair's hands tightened around her staff. A few hours later, the Mage was halfway to her next destination. Spellstone Village. She couldn't help but bounce a bit as she walked. This was the last one. Then it was on to Doliene. 'Uncle,' she thought, with a smile to the heavens, 'I'm ready. Those monsters will never take anyone again.'
  2. Ready! And I will fix the genetic trait thing, I think I have an idea.
  3. Aello nodded as she listened to Saki's latest plan, an almost devious grin forming as she remembered the chocolate cookies she had brought off the ship. "If we're running diversions, I can help with that!" It was a good plan, minimizing casualties and letting the Lama Emperor get through more easily, and Aello was fast enough to keep up with the 'street rat'. "And Joel, do you still have the napkin package I gave you yesterday?" She almost didn't want to do this, the poor guards... Ah, who was she kidding? She totally wanted to do this! Not even a thousand guards could handle a sugar high Saki.
  4. Orali blinked once, unsure of what to do. They had a new member. That was great! The new member had hurt one of her family. That was not great. She supposed she couldn't judge this 'Nine' before meeting him, and decided to do just that. And she didn't care what Happy said, if he was a threat to the people she had come to care for, then she would be keeping a watchful eye on him. Who would know where he was? Glancing around, her eyes landed on Mr. Z. He would probably know. With carefully schooled excited enthusiasm, Orali bounced up to the demon, giving him a hug. "Hey Z," she whispered conspiratorially, "do you know where mister Nine is? I want to meet him!" The spirit stayed, hanging from her arms around his neck and feet dangling, smiling as she waited for an answer.
  5. "Thank you, your highness." Nora bowed deeply. "It has been an honor." And she meant it. They were truly blessed to have such allies, and she looked forward to maybe working alongside them in the future, if she survived this mess. Still, they were on a tight schedule. There was no need to wait around. Straightening up, the knight gave the princess a small smile and then turned, walking across the stone bridge and entering the magnificent building.
  6. Name: Taria Adair Age:18 Gender:Female Appearance: Personality: Friendly, patient, determined, creative, intelligent, and calm at best. Ruthless, cold, manipulative, and unforgiving at worst. Bio: Taria was raised by her uncle Mekore Adair, a traveling scholar and powerful Mage. She started learning Magic from him at the age of two, and loved traveling and learning new things. The two were very close, and he was her father in all but blood. Unfortunately, Mekore was not without enemies, and was murdered when Taria was fifteen. Angry and torn apart at the death of her mentor, the young Mage took to her uncle's books as she traveled, vowing to return to the city when she had gained the power to destroy the ones who had taken him from her. Genetic Trait: Soul Shield- A shield of glowing blue spiritual energy that can be used by the Caster to protect objects or persons not including themselves from harm. Although the shield absorbs all damage, it is extremely difficult to maintain and saps the users spiritual energy. The only Mages recorded to have been able to use this spell are Mekore Adaire and his grandfather, so it is assumed to be hereditary. Magic/Abilities: As a trained Mage, Taria can use the basic forms of most Magic, but specializes in Wind and Ice. Weapon(s): Her Staff, which is used mainly as a focus point for more difficult, detailed Spells that she has yet to master, such as Healing and Effect Spells (Speed, Guard, and Strength). Extra: When Taria is working on something, she focuses in on it and tends to get a bit scatterbrained about everything else. She avoids using her last name when possible, as her uncle was fairly well known and she is trying to avoid attention. Infinite Limits
  7. Orali's head snapped up in the backstage as a bell rang through the air. "Announcement time!" She grinned as she jumped to her feet. "Come on Flaire, something exciting is going on!" The spirit was out the exit in less than half a second, quickly sprinting towards the bulletin board, flipping once halfway there just for fun, before reaching her destination and plopping down cross legged on the floor. She bounced back and forth slightly, but other than that remained quiet. Did this have something to do with what had happened to Vincent earlier? It was likely, that seemed to be the most important thing that had happened today, but if something had gone wrong with the assassination mission, that could be bad enough to warrant an announcement. She kept a perfectly practiced innocent smile in place as she observed the ring master and the twins, looking for any hints as to what was going on.
  8. Nora kept her sword out as the water began to glow, knees bent slightly to stay balanced as the ground shook. She nodded at Maxwell's statement. "This does seem preferable, although," she noted "we might end up swimming anyways." The temple was in the lake, after all, and she doubted that the princess had given them the Zora scales for nothing. Despite her anticipation to find the temple and move on with their mission as quickly as possible, Nora couldn't help but be a little bit excited. Only a little bit. She had never been to the Water Temple before.
  9. well, nice try! If no one else gets it I will tell.
