Once again on the flip side, if there is anything wrong with this game, Nomura is gonna feel the full wrath of the fanbase so he sure as hell won't make the same mistakes again. I'm kind of glad i've indulged myself in gameplay and map spoilers, has helped to temper my mood. If some of the disappointments are true i'm much more glad I've faced them now rather than the majority of people who have gone in blind. The KH-sphere on the internet might be pretty darn volatile in the few weeks after the release, i'm half expecting bedlam lol.

I don’t believe rushed is the right word, I just think there is a chasm between what Nomura thinks that fans want and what the fans actually want. I also get the impression that the Disney worlds took up a lot more time, money and resources this time around. Honestly I also believe they’re gearing up to try and bring new fans into the series, when they don’t really realise a strong core of their fan base are cult diehards who risk being alienated, I mean look at the story, not accessible to newbies at all is it?

Yeah it looks very small which certainly gripes me but it depends how integral it is to the story, disappointing though. On the flip side I’m starting to think the leaker’s idea of no postgame content was horseshit these battle gates are looking dope!

I mean all we can really do is wait but I know the more this leaker says the more restless and anxious the fanbase will get so I do feel sorry for Square and Nomura they can't win here.

Perhaps, it's annoying cause the game is gold yet clearly from reports there's going to be a fairly hefty Day 1 patch so it's unfair to judge a technically unfinished product, yet I guess people are so desperate that they are doing anyway. It is what it is I suppose.

I think there needs to be a lot of balancing and a toggle for the wall indicator, some of the things didn't make sense when the guy was playing. He was on Proud mode and from gameplay looked like garbage yet he only died 4 times. Furthermore, he was only level 40 when he beat the game yet his health bar is literally the largest i've ever seen in any KH game.

The lack of side playability such as tournaments etc does seem a little disappointing but i'd wager a secret boss comes through day 1 patch because I think it counts as future game spoilers so i'm not completely befuddled.

So my two cents on this guys review; There is some truth to what he is saying, but there seems to be an incredible amount of frustration because of the ending of the game. Nomura did say it would be hard to swallow and perhaps leave a sour taste, probably what it has done. So I think that has skewered his review massively. 1) He states that there is a lack of endgame content but this is highly likely that it will be plugged in the Day-One Patch because he said Nomura said post-game content would be withheld and I believe this includes Secret Bosses which could be considered spoilers for future games. Plus it's highly likely there will be FM content in the form of DLC which i'm fine with. 2) His U-Turn from 'GOTY' to 'Meh' is intrinsically linked to the ending of the game if you look at the timeline of what he says, this is not the first time the leaker has made bizarre sweeping statements for instance he was incredibly frustrated by the fact you couldn't change reaction commands and fully panned the game for it before it was revealed his controller was faulty and you could. 3) He states nothing about the quality of the Disney worlds and the World Design, which from what i've seen via the leaked footage it looks fantastic, I find it bizarre this doesn't factor into his review 4) Now when showed footage of the completed game in the menu screen he was Level 40 and had put in 35 hours. Level-wise on Proud mode this doesn't look the best and I do address this as a genuine area for concern, especially since you can't play Critical first play-through. 5) Obviously i'm disappointed by the lack of a Radiant Garden but a) it isn't the last entry in the series so there's definite evidence we see it again b) if it didn't make sense for it to be there in the story there's no point in shoe-horning it in. So factoring all this in, obviously I can't make this judgement in complete good faith that it's correct but it sounds like the game is around a 7.5/8 out of 10 with the ending perhaps alienating and angering a lot of fans, what that is we will have to see. I'm not blindly defending this game because i'm on a fan forum because I do acknowledge it has a lot of faults, but I do think we do need to examine what this guy has said properly because he does not seem like he has the most substantiated opinions. I don't really listen to what his brother says either really because he hasn't actually played it and has admitted he's significantly less investigated in the game and the lore than the leaker.

Doesn’t really bother me, I preferred Traverse Town in KH1 to Radiant Garden in KH2 anyways

Fair but it's kinda disappointing, especially since I know a lot of streamers who would want to play it blind on critical mode.

From the same @KH3isLife guy on twitter sounds like you have to complete the game once to unlock critical mode, you don't get it from the start. I got a screenshot of a DM of a guy who talked to another guy who has claimed to have completed the game @KH3Sam and i got this incredible tidbit: NB: Do remember to take what this guy says with a pinch of salt but it's rather intriguing.

Sorry, I meant more along the lines of would Terranort's Heartless and Nobody be the same as MX's as they are the same person or has the fact that Terra is the vessel for MX changed that?

Question, since Xemnas and Ansem are both nobodies of Terranort, it indicates that there is a part of Terra inside of them, right? Would that mean that MX’s other selves would be completely different, and would we ever see them?
