Once Ventus had finished getting ready, he called over to Roxas "hey rox, I'm gonna go chat with the others, hurry up and finish getting ready so that was not late." He walked out into the hall, approaching Pence and Ephemer. "Hey, guys. Roxas seems to be having a stellar morning again. Hopefully, he'll be ready soon enough." He said, looked over his shoulder back at his dorm. "You guys ready for the first day of school?" He asked, expecting a resounding 'no' in much that same way he would answer. As he paused for a response, a thought occurred. "Didn't Xion ask us to call her when it was time to go? We might want to tell her that we're just waiting on my brother."

"Twenty minutes" Ventus repeated, without opening his mouth much. He sleepily began attempting to locate clean clothes as xion walked past, and roxas yelling caused him to inspect what he had been wearing to sleep. He wasnt much better than his brother, but he really didnt care. he gave a two-finger salute as a greeting, just before roxas slammed the door. "Christ dude, relax. You're gonna give me a headache." He returned to his hunt for clothes. Once he had pulled on an outfit, he attempted to make it to the bathroom. "Are you gonna heave in front of the door all morning or can i open it" he asked

Ventus was dreaming a pleasant dream. People cheered as he held the trophy up high, "ven-tus, ven-tus, ven-tus!" And then, thwack. The pillow glanced off his face and jolted him awake. He sat upright for a moment, looked around, and then just flopped back down with his face away from his brother, groaning in response to Roxas. He knew he wasn't getting out of school, so after a few moments he rolled out of bed and began getting ready, still half asleep. "What time do we have to be in class again?" He asked roxas

Honestly, I don't remember exactly what the /hardest/ boss to beat for me was, but larxene from re:CoM is etched into my memory as hugely frustrating and difficult.

Ventus So much for heading out. Vanitas said some more dumb shit and it set Roxas off. He called Akira four eyes, and it was all over. Sure, he was mad, but Ventus wasn't a fighter. Normally he might have tried to stop his brother, but whatever Roxas did, Ventus deserved. Instead, he threw out a half-hearted "Rox, no don't, he's not worth it..." and posted up against the wall. Instead of being able to enjoy Ventus getting what was coming to him, he instead saw Marie appear, which might have even been better. She stopped the fight, and Ventus approached his brother, doing all he could to keep from staring. She offered him and his friends to go hang out, and Ven was immediately on board. "Yeah that would be great. " he said, voice shaking trying to reign in the excitement "my friends and I were going to get some food, i-if you wanted to uh, join us. Unless you had something else in mind." He blurted out that last bit. Ventus then realized he wasn't including anybody else in this. "If that's okay with you guys?" He looked to all his friends, in turn, his eyes pleading, as if to say "Please help me out here guys." Finally, he looked at Roxas, waiting to see what his brother would do. He wasn't certain he would let this Vanitas business go easily.

That was difficult to watch, im not gonna lie.

Ventus Ventus was still staring at his phone dumbfounded when Roxas affirmed his desire to go see Marie. He'd never admit it, but it was safe to say that he had just a /small/ crush on her, and he'd rather not pass up a chance to see her. "Yeah, uh, food sounds good" his eyes hadn't left his phone, until someone threw their arm around him. His eyes rolled as Vanitas went on about some party. As Roxas told Vanitas off, Ven chimed in "He's right. Lemme be honest with you Vanitas, i wouldn't really want to go to a party with you even if i /didn't/ have anything better to do." Ventus wasn't usually this confrontational, but Vantias just had this arrogance about him that ven really didnt like. Not to mention he was getting in the way of seeing Marie. Once Vanitas moved on to bothering someone else about the party, his thoughts drifted to why Vanitas had said "I feel like I'm going to miss you two! Especially you, Ven~". They certainly weren't friends, so the comment made Ven uneasy. As he pushed his phone back into his pocket, Marie popped into his head for justa moment, before he pushed her out becuase if he kept daydreaming about her all day, it would be even more obvious to his friends than he was sure it already was. "Well, do you guys wanna head to the diner? I'm about ready to ignore these textbooks for a couple months."

Ventus Ven pulled the last of his books out of his locker, tossed them in his pack, and shouldered it. The weight of it pulled him down a bit, but he was used to the weight of all his reading. He approached his brother, clearly ecstatic that he passed all his classes. He sighed. "You know Rox, if you studied with me you wouldn't have to worry about this every semester." He loved to read, so he always had great marks. He worried for his brother if he kept this up throughout his high school career, but he loved him and was happy nonetheless. He patted Roxas on the shoulder. "Nice man. Dad will be thrilled you won't be in summer school this year" he said with a smile. His phone buzzed in his pocket. He took a look at it and saw it was a mass text from Marie, the school news anchor. His face immediately became red as he stared awkwardly at his phone. "Hey, uh, what" *clears throat* "what were your plans for later Roxas? Seems like Marie is planning a huge paintball game." Ignis As Iggy buttoned up his double-breasted chefs' jacket and put on his toque blanche, he thought of the rush that would hit his restaurant since school would be letting out. Not that he didn't love cooking, but a busy day at work is rough on anybody.He walked past his boss on his way to the line. "Oh, hey Ignis. I need you to prepare a plate of the special for the servers to taste. Get your rest in soon, because we're expecting a hell of a rush in an hour or two. "Afternoon to you too mark. Business, as usual, i see" Ignis chided with a grin on his face. His boss, the restaurant owner Mark, was a nice guy. He just worried about his business before anything else. Ignis turned the corner onto the line and saw the other line cooks, who had all become comrades. "Iggy!" Tony called from all the way down the line. "Ready to feed a bunch of stupid kids?!" There was a huge ear-to-ear smile on his face. He clearly didn't mean anything buy that "stupid" comment, Tony was just as rambunctious as they come. Ignis took his place on the line next to roderick. "Hey, ignis. how are you doing bro?" "Not bad rod. How you?" Ignis poured some oil in his pan and swirled it around as he grabbed the ingredients for the special, as posted on the white board on the line. He started cooking, getting lost in the sauce mysticism of it.

When he looked for a job as a civilian, he decided to continue to pursue culinary work, as it had become very comforting, being his escape from all the pressures of a soldier. Braig "What kind of announcement," Braig said loudly. He was laying on his couch, reasonably agitated that his little "Excursion" with Vanitas and not was a big waste of time. After they spent time on a whole lot of nothing, he decided to just call it a night and at least try to get some rest.The notification came up over a youtube video he was watching, but with a defeated sigh, he tapped it. As Braig popped into the lobby, he noticed that Vanitas was getting chewed out Aqua, which was bad news. He was sure to say something snarky back, and he didn't trust Vanitas not to let it slip that he was there too, if Aqua really did get it out of him. As he approached, Ava got there to say something, but he decided to butt in anyway. "Woah, no reason to throw accusations around. We don't know who was where, and we never will. Better to let the hostility fade away, if you ask me." He threw an arm around Vanitas neck playfully, but just tight enough to say keep your mouth shut man. Nort Nort got home and lay in his bed. He looked down at his street clothes, wondering what happened to his robes when he wasn't playing. The notification popped up on his phone that there was to be an announcement in Warriors. He swiped it on his lock screen and the game loaded up. Once in, he posted up against one of the buildings that surrounded the plaza. He noticed braig with his arm around vanitas. That could only mean trouble, but he couldn't be bothered. He sighed an exasperated sigh and waited for this 'announcment'.

Xigbar crossed his arms. He really didn't know of much organized criminal activity in his district. The were of course criminals, those were everywhere, but not anything with a pattern. He didn't really seek them out either, it was way more efficient on lux to grind hos route. As xigbar stood looking quizzical, Nort cleared his throat. "If you're looking for criminals," he began "we should head back near our district. The area around my school has petty criminals and "gang" members at most hours of the night. The university is not exactly in the heartless-active areas of our district, but I'm sure there will be criminals." Xibgar looked up visibly intrigued. Getting a read on the heartless/ lux numbers in their district sounded like a good idea. If he could manage to come out ahead in lux, this night would be quite successful. "Yeah, if you lead out that way I'll come with." he said to Nort. Nort simply shifted his weight off the light pole he had been leaning one and started walking off, keeping his arms cross the whole time "Let's be off then."

Xigbar looked over to Xehanort hoping for him to chime in. Nort just stared him back in the face. Christ, i really hate that guy. He sighed and pulled out his phone and opened his notes. Flicking through them, he said with a sigh "Well, I guess, around this time there is usually a pretty large group up on the rooftops like three blocks south of here. There's a stairwell in that building there. If you wanted to start some stuff in another district, i think either Earthbound or DawnPath's district are probably your best bets." He shoved his phone back in his pocket.

Braig(Freeshooter02) Braig climbed the stairwell of an abandoned building in his district. He liked this particular building because it provided a great vantage point for the streets and rooftops in the area, and he had mapped out a good free running route for Lux grinding. He looked out over the city, or his slice of it, anyway, and noticed a somewhat large pack of heartless on a nearby highrise. He flipped the eyepatch down over his left eye as he approached the edge of the building. His vision really was limited by it, but it just looked so cool. He could just take it off if he really needed to anyway. He approached the edge of the building and took survey. The highrise with the enemies was not a part of his normal route, but it looked like he could get there by just taking a small detour. The roofs along that particular street happened to be fine enough heights and in the right order that he could make the jumps. As he leaped off, the End of Pain became material in his hand instantaneously. He landed and rolled onto the next rooftop, and the next and the next until he came across the pack of heartless. He was still getting warmed up, so he called out to no one in particular “What’re you, scared?” The heartless just sorta twitched and skittered around, paying him no mind. Braig sighed. In the blink of an eye, he dashed up to the enemies and slashed wildly. The heartless took notice now, but it was far too late. They all burst into clouds of black smoke until fading off, offering Braig his first lux of the night. “That’s what I thought,” he said, stroking his own ego. His phone buzzed in his pocket. He flipped the eyepatch up so he could read and pulled it out. “TheMaskedBoy27? Oh, that's right, that guy.” He opened the message. “Darkness13? THAT SON OF A” he exclaimed quite loudly. After he calmed down, he mulled over the thought of letting the masked boy come hunt in his district. He didn’t want the EITHER of them getting any lux if he could help it, especially not Darkness. But, it would increase his Lux, and he could get a read on some of the others. It seemed to him that as long as he was getting lux too, it would come out in the wash on the boards, and meeting the other wielders might make his life easier in the future. “Yeah okay. As long as we’re splitting ALL the Lux. Darkness, you can come too if you want.” Nort(Darkness13) Nort pulled his keyblade back after popping a heartless. He had defeated a reasonable heartless that evening, he considered going home for the night. He decided he could use some sleep, so he let his avatar clothes fade back into his street clothes and his keyblade disapparated. He walked along at a decent place back to his apartment, going through the list of things he’d have to do the next day. As he thought, his phone buzzed. He checked his messages. He decided to accept the offer and head to Freeshooter02s district and find out what these ‘unversed’ were. His attire came back, but he left the keyblade wherever the keyblades stayed when not in use. He replied with a simple “I'll be there and then made his way to Braigs district. When he arrived, he could hear Braig fighting heartless on the rooftops. He posted up against a pole and waited to either come across the masked boy, or for Braig to notice him, whichever came first. Dialogue Braig noticed a young gray-haired boy standing on the street below with the same robe with him as he dispatched another heartless. He called out to him “Hey, who are you?” No response. He went down to the street through a fire escape and confronted him. “Who are you?” “I’m Darkness13.” This caught Braig’s attention, but he tried not to show it. “Oh okay. TheLegend27 the masked boy not with you?” “No, he is not.” “Alright, well then, I'm gonna go back to grinding. Find me when he gets here.” “Fine.”
