TV Jimmy Neutron Boy Genius petition to reboot series
HeroTheKeeper replied to KingdomHearts3's topic in General Discussion
I just hope the art style is updated quite a bit. I hated the running animations on this show. I understand the kids not being able to run far due to their short legs, but even the adults ran super slow. -
What's your perfect last scene in Kingdom Hearts 3?
HeroTheKeeper replied to Power Jusho's topic in Poll of the Week
Say what you will, I'm a KairixSora shipper. I honestly do hope they'll mention this somewhat in 3. They were building something up in 1 and never went anywhere because the danger of Xehanort put relationships on halt.- 10 replies

Well, looks like I'm sick today. Guess I'm going to play some games after I get some rest. Any recommendations?

Anyone hoping to see David Tennant do the role of Scrooge McDuck in the Kingdom Hearts game if the old codger makes it into the game?

What World Would You LEAST Like to See in Kingdom Hearts 3?
HeroTheKeeper replied to Ventus_'s topic in Poll of the Week
Say what you will about Atlantica (And believe me, it's bad in both games), but I've never had an eye-rolling/sigh inducing experience like I did during Agrabah. The area just feels so bland with the sandy textures and lack of real shading outside of the Cave of Wonders. And, don't get me started on the fire versions of the heavy enemies. They're way to fast to spin around and block your attacks at that level. Plus, they have the homing Fira attack to take your health down quickly and most annoyingly. In all honesty, the level would be much better in my book if they'd just keep those enemies out of the whole dang level.- 13 replies

Imagine a mobile app for the Kingdom Hearts Card Game! Themed around CoM! Also, the cards can be shaped like the ones in the video game, not the ones they had in real life. Though, that would be a nice design for someone to do. Making a fully realized version of the cards from CoM.

Kinda wishing other fan sites were kinder like this one is. Can't seem to start a discussion with anyone on other websites.

Any of you guys know what an OC based on the KH series as a whole would be called? Send me messages with your suggestions if you wanna. Need help with the idea!
-
My KHUX avatar is "Magna". It's my fallback username for stuff when this one doesn't work out (filters, neh?) but when you consider Terra, Aqua, and Ventus all being Latin names (Magna means "great"), it made a surprising amount of sense. When in doubt, just pick "wind" "sea" and "land" from a different language =P.
-
Yeah. Sounds like a good idea. But, do you or anyone knows what kind of secret name I could use? Like, does anyone know what the project name for KH1 was while in production? Something like "Doctor Who" being "Torchwood" while being shipped around or "Star Wars IV: A New Hope" being called "Blue Harvest" while being in production. Something like that is what I'm looking into.

What Was Your Favorite Trailer from San Diego Comic Con?
HeroTheKeeper replied to Ventus_'s topic in Poll of the Week
Thor: Ragnarok has finally given me something I've been begging the MCU for years. Hulk actually talking rather than roaring. -
Second set of Kingdom Hearts Mobs! This time around, I drew the brother and sister duo of Flood and his big sister Spirit! Although the Dream Eaters were featured in 3DS and the Unversed have been around since BBS, I have a theory that the Unversed are actually a mutation upon the Dream Eaters themselves who take physical form through Vantius. This isn't supported by a lot of sound evidence, but I figured it would be a nice theory regardless. Either way, Dream Eaters have been around longer in the Kingdom Hearts world than the Unversed. I believe that the Dream Eaters would be an entity that has always been around a lot like the pure-blood heartless that exist in the world of KH. I believe I have one more final picture to draw featuring the evil versions of all four of the Mobs. Keep an eye out for it in the coming month!
-
Also, what would the mob's name be? I mean, unlike Heartless, Unversed, and Nobodies, Dream Eaters don't have a base form that can be chalked up as the starter version like Shadows, Floods, or Dusks.
-
What would you guys say if I posted a picture of the next two mob redesigns I have in mind? Mind you, one is being created from nothing as we speak. I'm making her brand new.

OH MY GOSH! MY MOB DESIGNS GOT UPLOADED TO THE TWITTER!

I see what you mean. But, Riku's heart belonged to the realm of darkness while he used the corridors. Once it came back to him, it changed his form back to the way it was and took away his ability to summon them. This, I can only assume, comes from Riku's more light-balanced heart, rather than the keyblade like I previously thought. (I take back what I said about the keyblades of light being the sole reason these corridors don't exist.) I think that Xehanort, Vanitas and Y. Xehanort could summon these corridors because their hearts are balanced more towards the dark side than the light side of things. Vanitas is the dark side of Ventus's heart. So, he would literally be a dark keyblade wielder. If anyone has a dark-balanced heart, I'd imagine they could use these corridors as they please. Look at Pete and Maleficent. They're not wielders and can still travel between worlds this way.
-
That might be because Xehanort, in Terra's body, was a prime keyblade wielder of darkness. Terra's body was a perfect, young vessel for Xehanort to take due to it's natural affinity to darkness. So, I'd imagine that his powers would be very powerful since that dark heart had taken control of a vessel who was so young. He, like other darkness wielders, could open these corridors with proper training. As with Riku, who wasn't a heartless in KH 2 but still steeped in darkness, could open the dark corridors as he pleased until he was brought back to the side of light.
-
Actually, I don't think either of them can. Both Riku and Lea are keyblade wielders of light and can't summon those corridors like they used to. Remember, Riku tried to open one of those passages in the later half of Kingdom Hearts 2 when he finally got his normal body back. But, he couldn't open it anymore. Mickey pointed out that his heart didn't belong to the darkness anymore and he lost the ability to travel between realms like that. If anything, it might make more sense for an uneasy alliance with Maleficent and Pete because they still have access to these corridors. They've basically made those two like Team Rocket and will most likely make them fight against Xehanort in the end because who wants to rule a world that's completely destroyed anyways? That'd be a total waste of an effort to plunge them all into darkness.

Anyone out there watch Samurai Jack? I wanna discuss the newest season with anyone who's out there and has already caught up like I did.
-
I'm actually a fan of what's going on. I also like how there is more of an overarching plot now rather than disconnected episodes. Though, it does make a bit of a strange feel about the series now that the episode stories aren't finished at the end of the day.
-
I love the fact that there is an overarching plot too, though I fear I have not seen too much of this to tell if I significantly enjoy it, and I agree that the lack of completion within each episode feels a bit odd. By the end, however, it will most likely be fantastic. Genndy Tartakovsky and the writers are orchestrating things well so far.
