Scariest Thing in Kingdom Hearts
IwasBornAsVentus replied to The 13th Kenpachi's topic in Kingdom Hearts - General
I have always found the scene in KH1 After Sora is in the cave looking at he and Kairi's wall drawing and suddenly ATSOD appears in cloak out of nowhere and the happy music slowly dies and the mood just feels rather intimidating and frightening. He's voice is so deep and he speaks in riddles. I find scene very creepy to the fact that Sora is all alone in the cave with a mysterious psycho who in reality could have attacked and maybe even killed you while your stuck in a cave. -
That was really awesome, good job

I have been waiting a long time for them to make The Jungle Book as a world and now is the perfect opportunity with the unreal engine having awesome visuals for making a neat looking Jungle world. If Jungle Book appears in the game I hope that it will feature all the characters from the film and not only Mowgli, Bagheera, Baloo, Kaa, Shere Khan and King Louie, the more the merrier. Toy Story will probably happen which I'm only looking forward to but I kinda of wonder if they will go with the first film or make a original story like Big Hero 6.

That's awesome, thanks for sharing your connection to Pixar. I noticed that Pixar have been with us for every year (except 2005 & 2014) as we grew up they have always been there. Oh this going to be a very awesome year for Pixar Inside Out was awesome and oh The Good Dinosaur I can't wait.- 15 replies

19 YEARS OF A GREAT TIME GROWING UP WITH ANIMATION. THIS IS A POST ABOUT PIXAR'S IMPACT ON AUDIENCE SINCE THEY FIRST RELEASED TOY STORY AND THE HYPE FOR THE GOOD DINOSAUR. I hope you enjoy reading this post Did that trailer made you tear up It surely made me It was 20 years ago Pixar released their first CGI Animated Feature Toy Story 1995. And during this time I have had a great childhood growing up with animated features both from Disney Animation, Pixar Animation and other Animation companies as well. I remember watching Toy Story many times as a kid and grew beautiful nostalgia memories /my core memories/ from Toy Story 2, Monsters Inc, Finding Nemo many from Pixar like Ratatouille, all from Pixar except for Brave. Every time I watch Monsters Inc I cry it's such a nostalagic, original and touching story that I remember me as 5/6 year old child loving and wanted to re watch many times on vhs. Then one year later I was 7 and was obsessed with Finding Nemo and collected Happy Meal toys and received Finding Nemo as my first DVD. as 8 I saw Brad Bird's The Incredibles another great Pixar film that I remember me and my cousins used to play we were Dash and Violet after we had seen the film pretending we had superpowers/huh the old days. When I was 10 me and my dad had an awesome father and son friday night watching Cars in theaters. I loved the first Cars just as much as Incredibles and shared a strong bond with my father who enjoyed the movie just as much we have, and will never care about the critics. When Ratatouille came out I was 11 and once again shared a connection with my father who really liked the film's message and I loved Remy and related to him a lot even though he was a rat . Then Wall.e came when I was 12, Wall.e was a film that I watched a lot with my sister like we used to when we watched The early Toy Story films as very young children. Wall.e was definitely a cute film that I liked but was not my favourite. What I loved about the year 2009 when I became a teen was that Up came out. My parents and some friends of mine thought the character design made the movie look childish and oh boy were they wrong the film made both of my parents tear up at the opening while they first said they wouldn't even give it a try. And the rest of the film was a great adventure with my favourite Up character Dug. Being 14 was finally an age where I somehow started to be less insecure and more open to the stuff I liked and Toy Story 3 was indeed a great way to end the trilogy. The main impact on the story I understood but wasn't taken away by but I was only 14 back then and now that Im older I can more relate to Andy in Toy Story 3. And then yet again Cars 2 came out when I was 15 and I saw it again with my father and we actually enjoyed it which was all that was needed, we actually really liked how they traveled around the world. Although I would have wished they stayed with Mcqueen as the protagonist and more screen time for Sally. 16 was an age that I really enjoyed things were changing people started to treat you more like a grown up but Brave surely did not fall to my taste but luckily WDA's Wreck It Ralph came to the rescue that year. As 17 things were really changing but MU came out just at the right time in my life. The coincidence was that I happened to be the same age as Mike in MU while I was in a new school that I had fought really hard to get into. I saw the film on the premiere and this movie reminded me so much about MI from my childhood and my current situation as a teen. I love The MI franchise with a passion and MU made me cry just like MI had. And since there was no Pixar film in 2014 I was busy with Big Hero 6 and HTTYD2, then later Inside Out came out at the right time. I didn't watch Inside Out while it was brand new I watched it 2 months later when I had felt sad and a little depressed, but watching Inside Out with it's bright animation, moving story and funny gags made me feel better after the film was over And now that I have simply wrapped up my childhood with Pixar we come to a film that have connected with me crazily since I saw a preview at this year D23. It's The Good Dinosaur. This film have really captured my soul and there are 2 reasons to why I have really connected with this film. 1. The film's main protagonist Arlo keeps reminding me about my favourite dinosaur growing up Littlefoot from TLBT both in personality and voice. This have caused me to see Arlo as a nostalgic Littlefoot through my eyes. Spot is also a reason I have connected to this film and that is because of his rare features. When you think of an animated character you can relate to through appearance there is no Disney or Pixar boy character that have turquoise blue colored eyes and straight light brown hair except for Andy from Toy Story 3. Light brown hair also mentioned as caramel is rare in animated boy characters, so therefor Spot is the second animated boy character to have this rare feature. I know it's small details but when you can see the resemblance of an animated character by appearance it's a thing you get excited for, but I look very similar to Andy from TS3. 2. The Realistic Visuals/Cartoonish Design When I first got to see these beautiful realistic visuals on the big screen at D23 I was completely blown away by what I saw Never had I ever seen something so freaking realistic in animation since Tintin 2011 and Epic. Well that's all I wanted to point out, Do you have a strong connection to Pixar's films growing up, let me know your thoughts

Did anyone even ask for Cars 3 or Toy Story 4, Pixar was heading into the right direction with Inside Out, The Good Dinosaur and Coco they should find more original ideas than sequels.
-
Amen to that. The only explanation is that the Car's sequel is solely for profit. They apparently make loads off the toys, so why not?
As for Toy Story 4, well...That's just excessive. 3's ending was beautiful, why continue? If anything needs a sequel asap, it's the Incredibles.
Also, I swear The Good Dinosaur is gonna make me cry. I can already tell!

Why is there so many people that mispronunces Donald Duck's name as Dolan

It's a lame joke that everyone seems to like making. Same with the misspelling of Goofy, which is Gooby. (Careful when you type Gooby, it might "autocorrect" it to something weird.

Youtube more like Cashtube  . What happened to the old days when YT had a better rating system and were not so keen about copyright and when Google + didn't exist those were the days when YT was truly YT. A lot of users have received emails from YT about this new information but I have not received any information by email, could it be because Im not in US, is this going to affect other parts of the world too.

I know Nomura's been trolling us before but this time I hope he keep his word, Im ok with a 2017 release for KH3 as long as it's a worldwide release, we have waited just as long as Japan for KH3, but if I see a new announcement for a collection of 1.5 and 2.5 to PS4 before KH3 I will be really pissed off. Waiting 3 more years for KH3 would be way more worse than 2 years.

Sora in his KH2 outfit. Keyblade Wielder -
You know he could be from Destiny Islands, we don't really know where he came from cause it's never revealed but my guess is that maybe he came from Destiny Islands since Xehanort would let him die there. Plus Terra send him there after saving him from Eraqus.

Birth by Sleep A Fragment Passage
IwasBornAsVentus replied to Master Keeper's topic in Kingdom Hearts - General
I am really excited for this game but Im not gonna judge the length of the upcoming game to like 4 hours or so cause Nomura said that it's quite a story to tell from Aqua's journey in the realm of darkness which means that the game doesn't haft be so short. Now Im hoping that King Mickey will be playable at some point in the game and I would also like to know more about what happened to him after BBS and how he found the Kingdom Key. There is so much that I want to see and know about this title. And the engine looks beautiful. -
How do people even know if BBS 0.2 is going to be a demo to Kingdom Hearts 3 they just announced that the title would only be featured to the 2.8 pack they never said anything about it only be a cutscene movie or demo. Im really hoping that it will be a full brand new game that's not just a demo for Kingdom Hearts 3. I also wonder when new information with more detail will be up for 2.8.

Well after all he's a dinosaur so he's weight would matter. Maybe he creates earth shakes while running and that goes of course for the scared Arlo. The confident Arlo should be able to after what I saw at D23 be able to use his strength for carrying stuff and use his tail to fend of enemies. I guess we just haft to find out more about Arlo as Pixar release new footage.
-
We'll I really want to see Toy Story first. I love FN so if they decide to add it Im all for it. MI or MU Im all for it I grew up with the monsters and aged with them so seeing them again would not disappoint me. Last I haft to go with Up I think they could really pull it off somehow that or Inside Out. But I also would really like to see Arlo from TGD as a summon cause I have really connected with that film since D23.

Who is your favourite Kingdom Hearts character?
IwasBornAsVentus replied to Gwynbleidd's topic in Kingdom Hearts - General
Ive said this many times before and Im saying it again Ventus However I also like Sora and Roxas but Ventus for life -
In my personal opinion when it comes to worlds I love when there is npc's walking around to me it makes the world much more real and connecting to the film it's portraying. So I actually really missed the unicorns, pegasus, centaurs and the other characters that was in the movie cause they were not featured in DDD. Here Im hoping this won't be the case for Fantasia 2000 since it's even bigger and have a better chance with unreal engine 4. Then if Fantasia 2000 would happen they haft to include also these I remember really loving that Flamingo and the whale sequence was thrilling when watching it for the first time. How about a little mini game with the Flamingo.

I made this in Photoshop Of course if not Merlin I would switch with Baloo Bolt (Bolt 2008) Morph (Treasure Planet 2002) Baymax (Big Hero 6 2014) Ralph & Vanellope (Wreck It Ralph 2012) There's no Ralph without Vanellope Merlin (The Sword In The Stone 1963) Wouldn't it be cool if this happened Arlo (The Good Dinosaur 2015) I have really started to like this character cause he reminds me so much of Littlefoot and I loved dinosaurs as a kid so having dinos would be awesome, plus I was at the D23 and saw 10 min of the film and it looks beautiful. I have many more but most of all I want to see Bolt as a summon. As someone mentioned the emotions from Inside Out would actually be really cool.
