  1. There are other ways to play games on emulators than just simply downloading it off the internet you know. For instance, I own a copy of KH2 FM for the PS2. I burned the disc using a disc burner, mounted the ISO using an ISO mounter, then extracted the ISO. Although I don't know a method for PSP games, I guarantee there is a legal way to do so, otherwise there wouldn't be ISOs floating around, now would there?
  2. Do you have any sort of proof? Like, I don't remember the release date announcement for KH2, 358,BBS,Coded, or DDD. Can you provide the dates for the release announcements?
  3. I really love Nomura, but I really hate him sometimes. "Yeah so, we know when we want to release it, and we understand that the release date is very important to people, but we're just not gonna do it because... we're not ready?" Then again, I could be wrong. A LOT of people are already at near maximum hype with KH3, and he may not want to stir more unnecessary hype. Another reason might be that it's not an exact release date, but a date they plan to. If the development has progressed enough by November, they may be ready by D23. If not, they'll continue to be the biggest trolls in gaming. Just a thought.
  4. As one of 3 people who say I'm not going to follow the series after 3, here's why: I'm tired of waiting for KH III. My guess is they're gonna take a LOOOONG break after 3 and KH IV will go down the same unfortunate road Duke Nukem did. Shit, I'm scared KH 3 is gonna be a disappointment thanks to my high expectations that have been getting higher with each passing second.
  5. Personally, I don't think all of them will be rescued. Aqua will, for a multitude of reasons, Ven will, simply because Aqua will want to. Terra? Nope. I understand that it's Kingdom Hearts, but I want a scar where my feels used to be. In the series ( with the exception of a certain someone), you always get (metaphorically speaking) cut and are immediately treated with a band-aid and a blanket. Not to say that I want Terra to die, but I wouldn't mind if he or anyone else was just unsavable.
  6. One other thing: If they're looking for programmers, then obviously Bill Farmer was wrong. If they're still programming the game, even if they just need extra help, then there's no way they finished recording, let alone even started.
  7. After further searching, they do, in fact, mention it. God damn, its as if they fired their entire programmer team.
  8. See, Sony has this section on the Playstation Store on the ps3 dedicated to older games. They have PSone Classics and PS2 Classics. You can buy whatever they have available, which isn't THAT much, though the PSone classics have some really good ones, like all 3 Crash games, all 3 Spyro games, and a few others. So yeah, Square finally released a game for PS2 classics.
  9. If you're talking about the one outside of the Mysterious Tower, here's a tip: Equip Beserker Charge and Horizontal Slash. Use Cure, perform an aerial combo, and go to town on your square button. I got the gold crown today and I got 2.5 on friday. Wasn't really hard, just took a while (except for Lingering Will, firetruck that noise). Edit: there's an auto-censor? Really? F-U-C-K that noise.
  10. False, Disney does not hate Kingdom Hearts. For Kingdom Hearts 1, they were very skeptical, which is understandable, considering somebody is going to be using very precious material, and could potentially hurt the Disney name, which is why they only allowed Mickey to be in one scene. Then, after the success and the way Nomura handled the characters, they gave him complete control (with some moderation from Disney, obviously). The "blank" stares are there to make it easier to develop the game. Animating every single face to show emotion and such for every scene is quite hard and quite expensive. And plus, Disney doesn't have to give them money. Frankly, Square probably had to give Disney money considering they are using their material. And you're right, the PS4 is possibly 20 times more powerful than the PS2, so those "blank" stares may be easier to animate. The engine is completely up to Square. Disney gives pretty much little to no financial support, as Square is a pretty profitable company anyway. I agree with the OP, Sora, Donald, and Goofy are supposed to be really good friends, but having them just stand there doing nothing is a bit strange. It just doesn't feel natural. So to finish this off, Disney doesn't have to give financial support considering Square is making a game based off of Disney's original characters. Think about Smash Bros. Brawl. Hideo Kojima didn't pay Nintendo because Nintendo was using Solid Snake.
  11. That all makes sense except for one thing: Terra wasn't a master either, yet he performed it on Riku. But you're right, since Jack isn't qualified, he won't get one. Just a thought that popped into my head that I instantly made a comment on
  12. Wait, since Jack held the keyblade, wouldn't that mean Sora performed the Inheritance Ceremony? Considering Kairi accidentally touched Aquas and still performed it, wouldn't holding it still count, so long as Jack's heart is strong enough?
  13. A friend told me that he was just starting KH2 (he had just finished 1 and Re: Com) and I told him to not view the after credits ending until KH3 came out. Seriously, if they had just not added that part, my life would be complete. But, now my life is split in 7 parts (excluding Re:Com and the HD collections) and KH3 is the last piece.
  14. Yeah, no, it scares me to even think about that. I would most likely never buy any KH games anymore. The plan is to not play anymore KH games after KH3 because of the constant waiting I am forced to endure with the series, but an unfinished and buggy KH3 would reduce it from a 1% chance to a 0. Edit: I mean, come on. If there would ever be a KH4, you'd probably have to wait until the Playstation 6.
  15. I dont wanna be dick but...(dickbutt, ha) "My Youtube's channel dying" = My youtube is channel dying.
  16. I really don't think you understand how torrenting works. Someone already bought the game at one point, but they decided to share it with a bunch of people online. You aren't stealing anything, but you are duplicating multiple copies of the game. To get a better understanding, google it. It's why pirating is such a problem. If you don't want to pirate, that's fine, that's good actually. This discussion is going nowhere, please do not reply to this. If you do, don't expect one from me.
  17. I've honestly been sitting at my computer pondering a proper response to this statement and just cannot find one, as it has no relevance to my previous reply. Care to try again?
  18. Fool. Only torrenting the ISO is illegal. You don't need to torrent the game to get the ISO. If you have the disc, you can still use PCSX2 and emulate it, which is what it says is it's intended method of emulating games. Either way, I said that it was possible, not that I personally have done it.
  19. As most HD collections are HD versions of games from the sixth generation of consoles (PS2, Xbox, Gamecube), most games that get an HD collection can be played on emulators or by simply not selling your consoles and/or not breaking your shit. With the exception of Dream Drop Distance (possibly, I am unaware of any 3DS emulators) I could play the entire Kingdom Hearts series, for FREE, on my computer thanks to emulation. Do you think companies realized this and started to make "HD Remasters", which so far has consisted mainly of PS2 games that have been polished a bit, and started marketing them? While I love replaying Ratchet and Clank, Sly Cooper, Jak and Daxter, Kingdom Hearts, all in glorious HD, I still own all of these games for the Playstation 2 and own a working Playstation 2, memory card and all, yet I still cough up $40 dollars for games that I already own just because they look pretty. Honestly, so far the Kingdom Hearts collection has been the only one worth it, as it includes extra content and isn't your average shine and polish HD remaster. As I feel I dragged on, I wanna hear from you. Do you think gaming companies found a way to cheat you by selling the same game twice or do you think the games are better because of their graphical updates? Whatever you feel, post below. Edit: Insomniac released an HD version of Ratchet: Deadlocked on the PSN for $10, making the entire Ratchet and Clank PS2 collection $40. My mistake.
