Your least favorite world in the first Kingdom Hearts
Morrisone replied to wolfsinner's topic in Kingdom Hearts - General
Atlantica and Monstro. When I first played KH, I was a kid, and just found those worlds way too annoying. Atlantica because of it's slow combat and Monstro because I got lost all the time. I spent hours trying to find a way to go. When I played the HD 1.5 ReMIX I didn't find Monstro difficult, but it was just uninteresting. And Atlantica is just boring in my opinion. -
Krigor looked around, trying to figure out what changed since he isolated himself in his own world. Everything looked confusing. Those three who attacked them were there again, and Ravio seemed to be against them too. "This guy is strong... that will be a problem.", he thought. And there was another person: a guy who used a monocle. "He wasn't there before, right?", he thought. "Will we have to fight against this odd guy too?", Krigor asked. He was anxious. The tension of doing nothing was worst then the tension of fighting. Plus, he had to distract himself from his own thoughts.

Krigor dried the sweat from his forehead with his sleeves and drew his swords. "Another one? When will it stop? But this guy now is a bigger problem. He's far higher than we are and can attack us freely from where he is. ", he thought, "If I could use the antimatter to explode his head, or at least try to... Whatever. I can't." Krigor knew he couldn't attack someone directly with his Karamor. Even if he was capable of doing so, he wasn't courageous enough. He suddenly heard an imposing voice saying: "You demon! You could have killed those children! You asked me what was wrong with you... I say you shouldn't exist at all". "What?... Calm down! That's all in my head. He's not here!", Krigor murmured. And that was true, no one was talking to him. But he remembered the exact words his mentor said on the day. Krigor felt the soft touch of the cold body he was holding. A body as small as his at the time. "I told you not to do that! I tried to hold it, but I told you to stay away... Why did you do that?", he heard his own childish voice. "It is not happening now! It was years ago... and I should not let that affect me. I just have to keep my focus on the battle.", he thought. But the the tears rolled over his cheeks and he was already distracted. Immersing in thoughts... it was easy for him. When an antiparticle encounter a particle, both are annihilated, and this liberates a lot of energy. When Krigor releases those antiparticles, he creates a barrier of an unknown nature to protect them until they get to the place he wanted. By doing that, he makes sure that he won't cause an explosion before the planned time. Before he was able to do that, he had a lot of accidents when the antimatter touched the air. Things could get even worse, since Krigor's body was made of antimatter. That barrier he used to protect the antiparticles was used to protect his own body, but it was not impossible for him to lose control of it. Being exposed to human touch for a long time was one of the things that could make the barrier fail. He thought it was because the human body was made of the exact particles which were his antiparticles opposite.

"So he wants to hand the boy over without even knowing the exact reason why those soldiers were after him... It doesn't seem like a very good thing at all.", Krigor thought. "That... would be kind of reck... reckless, wouldn't it? We still don't know what they want to do with him.", Krigor said softly, looking at the ground.

I can't believe I'll lose my scholarship because of a zero in Religion... that's not fair!

Yeah, it's begging to be one. They're doing everything they can to make it more difficult to pass, except making the tests more difficult. We students have a lot of school works and tests of "not that important" subjects.
It's not logical at all...
Hey, thanks for your opinion on that

Krigor stopped walking and looked at Aiko. "He is other person's property, just like he's not an human being. And it's even worse than just that. He's property of this creepy... loud guy.", Krigor thought. "So... when will you get your... huh... eman... emancipation, Aiko? Huh... it's Aiko, right?", Krigor asked naively, looking at the floor. The words sounded strange and unnatural coming from him, but he was happy that he had boldness enough to ask.

It's a great goal! I want to be a writer too (and a physicist and a philosopher...) You need to know that it's a long and hard way to reach that goal, but if that's what you truly want, I'm sure you can get it! And I'm happy that you said a "good writer", not a "famous writer". Best sellers nowadays are getting similar one to another (not all of them, but mostly), because they are made for selling. I'm not saying that it's a bad thing when books get famous, and selling them is important to the one who made them, but I think that it should not be the main goal. If someone is writing for wealthiness and glory, then this person is not an artist. Dealing with words may not be easy, but it sounds great. Good luck with that!

"Yeah... that kid must be really important. If all those soldiers are after him... Wait a second! They tried to capture the kid who followed me, and I got in a battle because I wanted to help him.", Krigor thought. He smiled at his own stupidity. The heat of the battle distracted him from the information he was after. He knew who that kid was! "But this boy surely knows it is him who they are looking for. So why doesn't he say anything. Maybe... maybe I shouldn't tell it either. And if I am courageous enough, I can ask him why they were after him and why didn't he tell anything to the others. But... but I'm not courageous enough.", Krigor thought.
-
"Huh... alright, I'm going.", Krigor said. He really wanted to discover what was causing all that mess, and having a new goal sounded great. He wouldn't be wondering about what he should do anymore. And maybe it was a great chance of improving his abilities. "Yeah, that was a good suggestion. And I probably won't discover the reason why those soldiers were after a kid if I don't go.", he thought. Even if the idea of being among people again scared him way more than battles, it was worth trying.

"Great! That's my chance!", Krigor thought. He released the antimatter again, letting the silver dust float around him, waiting for the appropriate moment to use it. He then ran in Devon's direction, and swung one of his swords, trying to hit the soldier's chest. At the same time he prepared himself to make an attempt to strike Devon's abdomen with his other sword if the first attack went wrong.

Krigor felt a shiver throughout his whole body when Aiko put the hand on his shoulder. Fortunately, his distraction prevented a meltdown from happening. He took a deep breath, convincing himself that he was okay and it was necessary to calm down, what caused the antimatter to return to inside his hands. To his own anxiety, he shook his body back and forth. "Hey, I'm not a child. I'm already sixteen.", suddenly Krigor said, still shaking himself. His voice was calm and monotonous, giving the impression that nothing really happened and he was just bored. He then looked to the soldiers, waiting for the answer they would give to Aiko. After all he was curious too.

"Man, that was close!", Krigor thought, reacquiring his swords as quick as possible. He looked at the strangers who had just saved him, but for some reason he wasn't courageous enough to thank them. Krigor just fixed his eyes on the ground. The antimatter concentrated itself around his hands, giving them a silver coloration. The pause in the battle made him notice again how much the injure in his arm hurt. He tried to touch it, but the contact of the antimatter with his injured skin caused the pain to increase. "Know what? Next time I won't be afraid of using my Karamor, so things like that won't happen again. I'm not a helpless kid!", he thought. Krigor remembered his old achievements, like when he stole the twin swords from his teacher's collection. Those swords were now his best friends. Lost in his own thoughts, the boy momentarily forgot of what was happening in the actual reality.
