Favorite character as of now in the series?

Okay so... Personally I think that Kingdom Hearts III is going to need a few... Situations... Just to make it live up to its expectations. First of all-- I want to see Aqua and Sora meet, and I don't want it to be just some quick "oh hey", I want Aqua to actually recognize the fact that Sora is no longer that little defenseless child she saw on the island. Second-- Riku meeting Terra, now do not hate me for this but- I think that i'd rather have Riku be forced to fight Terra. I feel like if Riku figured out Terra is the one who gave him the ability to wield a keyblade, then was forced to have to strike him down, or fight him, would make it extremely emotional, and probably serve as an amazing boss fight, or just a cutscene... Third-- I DO NOT WANT JUST A SIMPLE 1 ON 1 BATTLE FOR THE "SHOWDOWN"! Okay, for years we have been waiting for this, I DO NOT want it to be "Sora goes to a world, defeats a darkness" And then do that the whole game until Xehanort. No, please don't do that. Personally, in my opinion. I want the end of the game, to be a gigantic battle between the lights and darkness's, an ACTUAL showdown, one that is Intense, and memorable. No i'm not saying kill characters. BUT, I do believe that a huge battle at the end, 13 vs 7, would be amazing. ANYWAYS, this is just the things I would want...

SPOILERS BEWAREEE So basically I had this thought... In Kingdom Hearts: Dream Drop Distance - We were introduced to Time Travel. Throughout the Kingdom Hearts series, we learn that Namine can tamper with not only Sora's... But Everybody connected to his memories as well. I don't know how it would actually make sense... But... What if Namine (even though she is a nobody) turns out to be Sora and Kairi's child, from the future? But Namine doesn't know this. I know it sounds crazy, and probably doesn't make sense... But y'know... It was just a random thought.

Well there is a few possible situations... I guarantee she will (again) help Sora in some way... Or try to gain Riku back... I don't know.

Well honestly... I do think (unlike everyone else) That killing a main character could make you hate the villain more, which is what the developers should want. I don't see Xehanort as a threat, nor has he actually made me really hate him yet... If he killed a beloved character, it would make the player want him dead more... And it would also just be awesome to see Sora flip out, and go crazy.

Well, The Card system was odd at first, but i actually eventually took a slight liking to it, the battles were more drawn out, and seemed a bit more intense since it wasn't just hack n' slash. It takes time, but you get used to it. But no I do not believe they would add the card system just for one world

Its still exciting the game as a whole though. -
Chain of Memories: The Best Kingdom Hearts Game?
FluffDictator replied to hatok's topic in Kingdom Hearts - General
Well, Few things... My favorite was definetly Kingdom Hearts 2 as well.... Although Chain of Memories was OUTSTANDING... The gameplay was a bit off... If they fixed that in the Remake the game would be amazing... The reason people seem to like chain of Memories is due to how dark the story is.... But if you notice, Birth By Sleep Gets the most attention as the darkest game in the series... Chain of memories to me, yeah it was okay in the beginning, but i had to play it for a little while to actually get immersed and used to the strategy card battle system, which i do not want from a game... Yeah okay you can make the card system whatever, but i feel like they could have done better at getting us into it.... And i'm not saying i like the cards better, but once you get used to it, i feel like the card system actually made the battles a bit more intense do to the fact that there was strategy involved, and although in regular KH games yeah you need to stay smart ot win, but CoM Did perfect where you actually had to really think.... I will not say KhRe:CoM is my favorite... But it is up there -
That is how it is i believe... BUT, I do not think the writers actually thought that far into it and tried to chronologically tie it in with the "Nightmares Before christmas" film at all.... Although i think that if there is ANY explanation to what you asked... what you said would be it.. So you basically answered your own question.
