this is one of those games where i'm pretty sure once part 2 comes out, i will never touch part 1 again im really interested to see what they do with the time they have to refine everything further

the puzzles in this game are bad, and there is no real concept of dungeon design there are also minor gripes like how prompts for holding triangle not only take about 3x longer than any other game, but also wait until after it has been fully completed to even start the animation There are a lot of really big "we spent a shitload of money on the graphics and production" moments, but then it's kinda littered with small issues that will aggravate people who have played a lot of games before which is a shame because the combat really is very good

Im genuinely shocked how much forced walking they jammed into this game I don't care how good the combat is, I don't think I'd actually replay this from the start for a long time, and only would use mission select even then it is just so prevalent in the first part of the game that it makes me want to never select any of those missions

You can play it like a shooter if you want, but that's up to the player You can basically pick the genre of game you want And you can pivot from one to an other
