Well, this has been a strange day, Cory thought. Why shouldn't I join Lacuna? I mean, I'm not doing anything else. And who can say no to a face like that? Maybe I should consult my wisest advisor: Scales."What do you think, Scales?" Cory asked."I think we should do it. How 'bout you?"

"Hmmm," Cory thought."Intriguing. If I were to agree, would it be just us or do you have more dark and brooding buddies to help as well? I'm not going to just jump right in against this entire 'Darkness' with a higher educated girl and angry lizard. I'm eighteen, not stupid!" She felt that she might be getting carried away, but she couldn't help it. Making clever and sarcastic comments was fun. Cory didn't care how serious this "Lacuna" character seemed, her mouth was a pistol on rapid fire and she'll be joking around until she dies.

"Define: 'Good use'," Cory said. "We might have different view points on 'good', but I wouldn't know seeing that you are a complete stranger!" Cory knew this was most likely going to go poorly,"But hey, what do I have to lose, right?" She thought. "Just a dragon, but would it be a bad thing if Scales was taken away from me? Yes!" She scolded herself in her mind.

Hmmm...I'm a bit behind, aren't I? Anyway, all the ideas listed are cool with me. I think that the amount of OCs should be minimal, they're a bit distracting.(I like the canon characters!) The Justice League disappearing one by one makes me think of Failsafe, and something tells me that'll remind the original team members as well. Miss. Martian might have a breakdown if she feels like she's controlling them again, and that's not a problem! Something tells me you guys like a little drama.(Shock herself awake=Attempt of killing herself) What about the runaways? Should they have a part? Arsenal too? Though at the end of the last episode Static said they were getting out of the game, I feel like they're the type of people that can't sit still long. (Hey Yuffie? The other Superboy has name. It's Match, come on! Keep up!)

"Wait, what?" Cory said. She was the type of person that trusts everyone, because she wasn't taught otherwise, that little old lady opening her doors to random strangers in the winter. "This town is full of nitwits," she muttered. Decision: Follow her, trust her, and if she turns out to be bad, so what? Cory'll show her what a little light can do when it becomes A LOT of light. Cory sprinted down the alley.

"Scales, calm down," Cory said."It was a harmless trick, he probably didn't even notice what I did, probably thinks he's gone batty." She smirked, she wanted the know-it-all to have a moment of insanity.

"And after all that, it look's like they're going to leave, the ingrates." Cory thought. "They're not that important, I can move on from here. I'll go look around some more tomorrow, but who knows what I'll do tonight, I don't exactly have a plan." She watched some light sparks float in front of her eyes, "You'd think they'd be more intrigued by this..." There she went again, acting on impulse. Cory began to leave the train station, acting like she didn't have a dragon on her shoulder and hadn't encountered a team of morons. Cory made a small patch of light appear on the toe of the one who'd been punched earlier, it was unnoticeable. The next time he took a step with his left foot, the patch would grow bigger and brighter before disappearing. It would be like looking directly at the sun for a second, completely harmless, just like all her tricks. She's 18! She's allowed to have fun isn't she!

"What is wrong with you?" Cory yelled as she pulled Scales away. "I thought people who weren't raised in the woods by an old lady would better manners than this, you spoiled troll!"

"Are you okay, Scales?" Cory asked. When Brooklyn once again disappeared she turned to the other boy, "Does he STOP?"

"No, You shall not!" Cory bounced back to over-confident-bozo. "Scales is ONE of the most infuriating beings on the planet," then she glared at the two idiots from the alley,"so you're going to listen to him." Then she removed the light shield. "Don't make me put it back up." They have no idea what she's capable of.

"Wow," Cory stated as the fight raged on."You gotta be kidding." She realized that two of them were the boys from the alley. No one else could freak out at such small situations."All this big talk is driving me crazy." She flashed a wall of light between the boys that are fighting so they couldn't get to each other. But she knew she had stay or take the wall down. And the fight will continue.
