  1. Sorry this is probably late but I can get too tempted to answer these things anyway. *Two are very simple, they are sitting on the ground in areas of the Lotus Forest so just make your way around until you spot them. *One is on top of the fireplace in the Bizzare Room, use the entrance through the tree in the middle of the Lotus Forest to reach it. *The last is also in the Bizzare room on the other side of the fireplace. The entrance to this part is at I want to say the far left end of the Lotus Forest. You'll have to climb up into the tree and make your way across the lily pads to get there. Warning, it will basically just drop you down towards a narrow shelf where the evidence is sitting, with nothing else around to land on. So it will take extremely careful jumping to successfully grab on and climb up to the shelf as not to fall down to main area of the Bizzare Room and have to go all the way back through the Queen's Castle and lotus forest. Hence the Cheshire Cat warning you that the first three are easy and the last is tricky. For the record it's not necessary to collect all four pieces of evidence, just one will progress the story though you benefit more from all four. 1.) You'll receive Blizzard from Cheshire Cat for the fourth piece of evidence otherwise you'll be waiting until about 3/4 of the world later after defeating the final boss, Trickmaster. So you'll be unable to use Blizzard in the Trickmaster battle if you don't obtain all four pieces of evidence. 2.) The Queen of Hearts will present one piece of her own evidence for every one you present (ex. She'll present two if you have two, three if you have one) and when you are asked to pick one it could cost you one or both your party members for the proceeding battle. Thus the more evidence you present the less likely you are to select hers and lose your party members. It's not a difficult battle though. You don't even need to touch the Queen (though it's amusing if you do strike her because she'll fall on her head revealing her undies), all you have to do is take out the tower in the center of the area to stun the attacking cards and end the battle. The Queen gives it away right as it's beginning.
  2. Harsh much folks. Donald has been a short tempered, selfish character since his birth long before a lot of our own let alone before the creation of KH and it's also the core of his humor. So true! My first FM file (now deleted) he took hits and KOed quite easily but as he leveled up he got much better and in both it and my new primary file he is always healing me just as I heal myself!
  3. Truthfully I am not overly fond of CoM period, the card system can really piss me off and I am unable to assemble Sleights. In Re: I've endured quite a few defeats that with the battle style of Kingdom Hearts 1 would not have happened. At the same time however the concept is interesting and speaking as someone who'd originally played it on the GBA(had no idea until by accident yesterday that there was a PS2 version), having it on a larger screen has been more appealing and somewhat easier. Just tonight I actually turned my GBA cartridge on again for the first time in literally years and noticed, most likely because now I have something to compare it to, how difficult it is to judge the perception, where you are on the screen in relation to the foe. I had to turn it back off after a short time but not only for that reason. I want to save the story for FM in which I am slightly behind. Perhaps it's because I have now come to understand the system somewhat better since playing it on FM but there are a few battles I was not stuck on for as long as when I played it on the GBA such as The Parasite Cage and Hades. Though then again I had put my GBA cartridge aside for a long time when I was stuck on the Parasite Cage(and I'll never forget that I was sitting in Astronomy class, 2010 or 2011 when I finally beat the thing ha and for the record I still got an A in the class). Some battles are still a struggle however, such as Hook where I am stuck now and as mentioned earlier I am a sleight dunce even now. Though I am just barely beginning to practice, I've already found them difficult to assemble. I'm in no denial whatsoever that I've gotten through both versions on sheer dumb luck, it's not just sleights, I have zero skill period with the card system which is likely most of the reason it can be frustrating for me but though the gameplay otherwise is interesting I am primarily in FM for the story. EDIT: I need a vent here. The cards have just pissed me off in a whole new way. Here I am having trouble with Vexen, the first round with him. I just beat him on my GBA but there all he did was float around a bunch whereas on FM he's relentless. DestinyIslands.com says he's weak to fire so I figure Mushu would be useful but guess what!? I can't get into the Hallow Bastian's Room of Rewards because I don't have an effing red map card with a value of 7 and apparently it HAS to be a 7 exactly! What exactly am I supposed to do about that? There is no control over obtaining map cards except the roulette room but I only have one roulette room card with a value of 1 so that's out. Ugh!
  4. Nope I've gone through the story myself recently and have just checked, my files are still there.
  5. See it JUST now dawned on me whereas I'd gone most of the week with this having completely left my mind. Just barely on time. Please forgive that I am roughly 24 hours early but if I don't do it now I will forget again. Request Confirmed.
  6. I'll be remembering your advice when I return for the white trinity in The Cave of Wonders.
  7. Wow just wow. Right from the second the video begun I wanted to turn it off due to his obnoxious and vulgar commentary but I had to see the idiocy being discussed here. Seriously I thought I was clueless when I first played it on my PS2. But I wasn't unable to defeat the Ursula Caldron round without RL help from a friend because I tried to strike her directly. I just didn't know about abilities, accessories and re-equipping Donald and Goofy. Triton gives you the answer to that battle, so there was absolutely no excuse for his ignorance. Then there was the deal with the chest on the balcony of the Traverse Town third district! It's an easy jump you dumbf***! Just go down beat the thing and jump back up! Honestly the guy made a decent point here though, it IS quite ridiculous how it considers you in a heartless battle when you are safely out of their range. Deep Jungle and Neverland recently did that to me and I was far more out of the range of the attacking heartless than him. Still I seriously wonder if he did some of this shit on purpose with the notion that it would be entertaining? Or perhaps he enjoys being hated? The stage personalities of some professional wrestlers are intended to be hated.
  8. Awesome thanks. I checked Aladdin's house, I must have missed it. Hell I checked everywhere! hehe.
  9. As I am going around activating yellow trinities after just learning the ability last night beginning with Agrabah and also traveling around opening treasure chests which were previously unobtainable I have come across two closed off passageways. One in the Plaza and one on Main Street. I've looked everywhere for ways to open them, can they not be opened despite that they look like they can?
  10. Hey there, I'd like my name changed to Final Rest or FinalRest whichever. I was unable to sign up for an account directly with the forum because it would not accept either of two answers to the challenge question and had to use my Twitter account. This was not ideal and I've just disconnected Twitter from this account. FinalRest is the name I was trying to register with and it never told me it was taken. With two classes worth of projects that I am struggling to keep up with and getting the ideas together for I can assure you that I am 50/50 likely to forget to report back in a week but that I am entirely serious. That must show in my reasoning, doesn't it?
  11. Alright so I actually tried this (in 1.5) and wanted to report back. I grinded until level 18 in the Destiny Island storm scene, I had intended for 20 but got bored and tired of it as it was beginning to take too long to gain a single level. I am seeing users talking about leveling up with the characters whom had questioned you during The Awakening to determine your level pace but I talked to them throughout DI and nothing happened. I am confused as to this? This (and that I still as I mentioned before grind on every heartless encounter, sometimes more than once on some) made a huge difference but as one user suggested the game also does catch up to you at some points. Clayton (who only took slightly longer but was still just as easy at level 18), the Trickmaster, Opposite Armor and Jafar were all much easier this time around than my first at levels 22, 30 and 34 and only took up to two minutes to take out. Interestingly I had meant to grind until level 25 before taking on Clayton but accidentally fell from the tree house in the process and discovered there's a portion which drops into the cliffs instead of the tunnel. Ursula(the cauldron round) and Hook were also somewhat easier at levels 38 and 39 than at levels 30 and 35 but in the case of Ursula it was more that I knew what I was doing now and it helped to have the Spellbinder (I did not the first time, I hadn't known about it, this is how I ended up clearing the Phil Cup late in the first round). The second round of Ursula was easy enough the first time but I was able to get more strikes in this time while before I mostly Mermaid Kicked around in circles and let my team do the work as suggested by a user at KHinsider. Trickmaster, Opposite Armer and the Cauldron Round of Ursula I also managed on the first go while they took multiple attempts my first time. Oogie Boogie was more frustrating but that had nothing to do with how easy or hard he is, he's quite easy but the first time I had gotten quite lucky with being ascended on the right panel to be able to strike him. This time, not so much. Took way longer than is reasonable just to get started on him. Here is where the catch up comes in though. Notice how I was only a maximum of 3 levels higher this time around when I faced each battle than I was the first time. TrickMaster is an exception because in my attempt to try something I did not realize until too late was impossible I switched the order in which I did Wonderland and Deep Jungle. The first time Wonderland had been my first world after Traverse Town, instead I started with OC (Cerberus was another battle which was easier this time and won with only one attempt, though barely) then went to Deep Jungle and finally Wonderland after finding out that the entire event line of the second Traverse Town visit could not be done without. I was at level 25ish by the time the final battle was accessible and then grinded with all the different variations of the Bizarre Room to level 30. Not too bad though considering in my first round I was level 30 when I took on Ursula! Though I'd only gained another 8 levels between then and Ursula. (I switched the world order one more time later, forgetting which was which I'd accidentally ended up in Neverland before Halloweentown. And while I would have liked to have my Pumpkinhead in Neverland, just cuz it's my favorite hehe, on the bright side with the glide ability the Oogie Manor battle was much easier as it's probably the worst battle field in the game for Sora's horrible jumping.) One of the last things I did last night before turning in was the Hurc Cup at OC right when Chip and Dale announce that it's available. This is around the same time I'd done it the first time and around the same level (41). This is also going to put me in the Hallow Bastian climax battles at pretty much the same level as well. In my first file I am in World Terminus in End of the World at level 51. So that is what I've been aspiring to beat. Ideally I'd like to be at level 65-70 at the Hallow Bastian Climax. So while I am going around activating yellow trinities I plan to grind, grind, grind. So basically that initial Destiny Island grind helped out greatly but I am now right back where I was in the first file. There are a couple of factors, one avoidable that could have contributed however: *I purposely answered the beginning questions so that I'd level at an average pace (and regret it for this mission). I chose the answers I personally liked knowing that they would result in "midday" and it seemed at the time like "dawn" would be going too easy on myself. *I had wanted to grind in Traverse Town before leaving it the first time(though after part 1 of it's story was over) but for that moment it had been completely cleared of heartless. So I had to leave. Incidentally I am pleased with this second go around, more so than the first for the following reasons: *I cleared the Phil and Pegasus Cups right away as I did the Hurc cup, whereas in the first game I did the Phil cup late to obtain Gravity and never the Pegasus. Leon and Yuffie took me three tries though, Leon specifically. Remember in the beginning, Traverse Town pt. 1 when he challenges you to that little test duel and if you defeat him he tells Yuffie in the proceeding cut scene that he'd went easy? This is when you see just how easy, and the answer is MAJORLY! It was well worth it though to obtain the Strike Raid ability. *I found 54 Dalmatians(for the final torn page) without even trying! *^ this is one result of the fact that I missed far fewer treasure chests than the first time and have and am continuing to go back to worlds I've already been to activate the trinities. (Though I seem to be missing at least one torn page not counting the Dalmatian one, which is something that did NOT happen last time hehe, oh well). I'd found some nooks and crannies I did not know about before in various worlds. *I just made myself a new Gummi last night that ...well I think is kickass. Though I have not gotten to use it yet because that's when I turned in. Wish I had more areas to use it in but oh well. Maybe that will be a new goal for the third round. I've already got the possible set up thought up: - Fast paced leveling - Beginning with the sword possibly (just because I've never done it before). - Kickass gummi earlier Though it's been literally years since I've played the second game (mostly being because I've never owned it, I borrowed it from a friend and understandably he took it back after I'd cleared it but it's my favorite so I am quite anxious for 2.5) but this does sound as though it makes sense considering that technically they are merely separate parts of the same being. Higher up in the thread I read about how some guys tried to grind Roxas to level 99, managed 95 and than lost it all to a file corruption. Now THAT is some crazy ass shit!

FYI I tried once again to register a KH13 name (as opposed to my twitter account) and Sora is not a valid answer either.
  13. Quite a bit despite the valid point Rush made but not for the announcement of the release date, the arrival of it! Honestly I am a slightly torn though. A fall release would be helpful as I can request it as a birthday gift instead of spending money I barely have on it myself. It would be less frustrating than a summer release that I might not be able to afford which is something of a large possibility. So as anxious as I am for it, part of me can wait all year if necessary and as Rush said I'd also rather have long wait for a quality game than a short wait for one which contains a lot of bugs.
  14. This person has it better than some and should be grateful. There are those out there who won't be able to play the newest installment KH3 because of owning neither a PS4 or an Xbox. Just last Christmas I received the PS3 so PS4 is not happening anytime soon nor do I own an Xbox or have an interest in one(and how it would fit in with my PS3 and Wii both already hooked up to the same TV is beyond me). I'd love for them to also allow KH3 on the PS3 but we can't always get what we want in life, in fact we rarely do. Since this petition does not apply to nor will benefit me in any way I will not support it. Sorry.
  15. I'm getting a September/October/November feeling about it from the fact that a release date has yet to be set. This is NOT my preference as I am anxious to get it like now but if 1.5 was only released last September and depending on when they begun developing 2.5 a summer release may not be possible. The one silver lining if it is a fall release however is that I might not have to spend money I don't have on it but rather can request it as a birthday gift.

Hey there everyone, thanks a bunch for all the kind welcomes. Just started a new file in my remix in which I am trying out some new tactics. The first of which is grinding until level 18 in Destiny Islands during the storm sequence when Sora first receives the keyblade. My goal was level 20 but I got bored and I'll be going to bed soon. So I wanted to move on haha. Still though that's about where I was in Deep Jungle when I took on Clayton(and even at level 18 he was hella easy) in my first file which is now in 'End of the World' nearly at the point of taking on the very long series of final bosses. But the question was 'What video game series is the site based on?" Sora is not the video game series he's the character. O_o If that truly was the answer though then my subtle suspicion was right about it being a simple problem. Darn.
  17. This was quite annoying with all the times during my PS2 playthrough I had to redo boss battles, but I am pretty sure they had added it in KH2. I remember how nice it was because it took me several tries to beat a Hallow Bastian boss, I can't remember the name. Axel? One thing I am not understanding here, what is the term 'Vanilla' referring to?
  18. True, Donald has a very harsh temper and can be pretty selfish. In my first play through via the PS2 version he had some lines that displeased me as well but that's the trademark of his character for as long as he has existed which far predates the existence of KH. Ironically I too always swap Donald for the party member native to a given world but not because I dislike him. Goofy had just proven to be the better fighter. In Agrabah I noticed for the first time how badass he is with that tornado spin! My Donald took hits and KOed quite easily. Though near the climax of my game he did become stronger. Though in my first playthrough it was actually Donald I always kept for his healing ability though. In Atlantica especially this is somewhat stupid logic since Ariel can also heal. Donald's healing did come in great handy this time around as well however as I'd developed a tactic this time around of basically using the cure/cura spell as much as possible and Donald had on several occasions beaten me to it! It's kind of cheap but it's been working awesomely. Interesting turning point though which begs what would have happened had Donald been willing to welcome Riku? Would we have had to battle him the twice in Hallow Bastian?
  19. Personally this second time around (my first time was years ago on the PS2 and I was extremely nieve to the point of not being aware of new keyblades, abilities or being able to change Donald and Goofy's stuff) I grinded simply by taking on every heartless encounter in the game. I was easily level 18-20 in Deep Jungle when taking on Clayton and he was hella easier than the first time when I actually had to get a friend of mine to beat him (and several other more major bosses) for me. Destiny Islands was one area I had not considered however and ironically since I am now in 'The End of the World' nearly at the point of facing the long series of final bosses (at a little over level 50) I have been thinking about starting a new file to test out some other methods that have come to mind. Including upgrading Donald and Goofy's weapons sooner, I've learned a lot since my first play through but am still learning. This is a tactic I will keep in mind. And interestingly I was just thinking how I wish I could skip Destiny Islands in the second play through. Some of the little tasks are annoying.

It's been years since I completed both the PS2 versions of the Kingdom Hearts games and with quite a bit of help with the major climax battles from an expert friend. Now last Christmas my mother's boyfriend got me the PS3 with the remix edition and have just finished Hallow Bastian all on my own. I'm quite pleased with myself that I took out the Malificent Dragon on the first go though it was difficult. My new tactic of using the cura spell whenever possible was the key to a lot of those climactic battles, especially that extremely insane Riku battle that comes right before my personal favorite part of the game, Sora as a Heartless. I can't wait for the 2.5 remix to release, it's my personal favorite in the series. Anyway I'm a Graphic Design student currently taking on two classes worth of projects and that's not easy for me to keep up with but I'm getting through it. It's been a skill building experience. I also like to write and hope to publish novels sometime. Um...yeah. There you have it. Also you should know there seems to be a glitch with the registration form. I had to use my Twitter account, something I would have preferred not to do because I kept being told "Your answer to the challenge question is not valid".
  21. As a matter of fact I recently finished Neverland at level 39-41ish myself. It was not significantly difficult. My tactic is basically spamming the cure/cura spell. It's kind of cheap and desperate but it works. Then when you get a few strikes in on the target or surrounding heartless your MP is replenished. But it's also helpful to have elixirs and potions on you. With Hook just stay air born as much as you can, you'll receive the flying ability from Peter Pan beforehand. Hook hardly ascends himself but when he does that's when he's most vulnerable but he's also fast as hell. I assume you gotta get a good hold of your own flying to be able to strike at him that way. I failed and had to rely heavily on my cura tactic. Also I read, though too late to try it regrettably that fire (at this point it should be fira or you're right, you're are definitely there too soon) has a pretty powerful effect on him. It will send him running around in a panic with his pants on fire which does him gradual lingering damage for a short time. It's possible that you are poorly equipped to be having trouble with AntiSora at level 35. What abilities do you have equipped and what keyblade are you using? Have all your elemental spells been upgraded at last once (Fire to fira, Blizzard to Blizzara, Thunder to Thundra)? They should be at this point. You'll also receive the cure upgrade from cure to cura right before the Hook battle. Also have you given any weapon/ability upgrades to Donald and Goofy? Since I beat Neverland only a few levels above you I can't help but want to assume that something in these areas might be your problem.
