Why Do People Hate Google Translate?

I for myself don't like google Translate because if i translate something i always have to correct more than the half...sometimes even the grammar does not fit and the words are somewhat off -.-For example i tried to translate something from French to German because we had to read a book and i didn't understand one sentence so i tried google and look what they made of it"und ich werde shut up in der Holzkiste."in English this means: i will shut up in the wooden crate but the sentence meant: i will put something IN a crate and i will shut up ABOUT it. -
