  1. This is great..and i like the idea of a third currently unrevealed character, but i really hope it isnt a Xehanort love thing..this character should just be evil as he's the main antagonist for the 253 games we've had so far..it'd be nice, but I would prefer if Xehanort didn't have any redeemable qualities/moments..we should hate him through and through...i dont want to feel sorry for him when he perishes..If anything, i'd like for him to do something so terrible that it makes us all hate him more..to further justify his demise..(please don't kill sorarikukairiventusroxasleaoraqua)
  2. This would be great! I'd like to play it from Riku's perspective..
  3. everyone is entitled to their own opinions..but...but...*sigh*..nevermind
  4. -Sidequests would be great..somebody mentioned the trinity marks and dalmatians from KH1..I couldn't agree more..I think it'd be great to include more collectibles like this throughout the game..this increases the replay value in a game..i think it'd be cool if they made the trinity marks come back..obviously some of them wouldn't be able to be reached until later in the game, or access to them will be limited by color like in KH1, but to add to it..It'd be cool if there were some for certain party variations..like if at a certain point in the game..they made other characters accessible (lea, roxas, riku, kairi) and the trinity can only be achieved with certain party members in the group..like if it's a paopu fruit symbol your party must be Sora, Riku, and Kairi.. if the symbol is seasalt icecream, then Roxas and Lea will be required..things like that.. -World Specific mini games -NPC's, as mentioned several times before. -non disney summons..i don't mean they should scrap disney summons completely.. but if they added some FF summons, i'd be very pleased
  5. Woah, never really thought about this..Ansem is too big a character not to include in this next game..and if the chessboard theory about Luxord is right, and they didn't expand on his story a bit, i'd be very disappointed. We dont know a single thing about Luxord, it'd be a waste of a SoD if they didnt expand. The ansem theory seems very plausible..it would do a lot to make both characters relevant..
  6. Speaking of the council of villains in KH1, i really enjoyed their meetings..it was kind of a heads up for Disney fans..They were all silhouetted out and it gave us an idea of what worlds we might see later on in the game..I hope the reintroduce this with the newer villains for KH3
  7. Good question..We had the shark in Atlantica, Sabor in deep jungle, the cards in wonderland, pirates in port royal etc..I think we need to wait for more confirmed worlds but i like the idea..The heartless/nobodies play a large role, but i'd definitely like to see the Disney worlds speak for themselves a bit more..enemies that represent their own worlds is a must..I think they'll continue with this to the best of their ability..
  8. Thanks!! One more question..If having a strong heart whether it be good or bad is a requirement to obtain the keyblade, then why was Riku skipped over? He just accepted the darkness is all..I mean, obviously a lot of the lore came after..I'm sure they weren't planning of having hundreds of keyblade wielders right from the beginning, but I'm just curious. Riku didn't show weakness of heart in my opinion..He simply stated that he wasn't afraid of the darkness..It's clear from the other scenes in KH1 intro, that he's strong willed, determined and all that other good stuff..he clearly cares for Sora and Kairi..idk..just wondering
  9. Cool, thanks guys. I was pretty much right about all of it..Had a discussion with a co-worker that kind of had me second guessing myself.. Is there anywhere i can brush up on my keyblade lore at? i was unaware of the Axel-Yen Sid thing though..
  10. That sounds pretty cool..But I'd still want a second visit that is important to the story..so maybe a third visit with sidequests? Possible sidequests: Toy Story: Mr. Potato Head lost all of his parts throughout the world, finding them all and returning them to him in Andy's room will earn Sora some sort of upgrade. Extra rescue mission into Sid's house to save Rex or Little Bo' Peep from one of his torture devices. (idk, theres a reason I'm not part of the development team) Frozen: Outrunning an avalanche on Sven's back feeding him carrots, dodging trees, and jumping over fallen logs. They can do three of these avalanche mini games..Also something where Olaf is melting and you're fighting a swarm of 'sunlike' heartless..destroy them all before he melts? (yeah, these are only gonna get worse) Jungle Book: King Louie has a special item of interest, the player must impress him with various, and probably pointless, entertainment to win it. Maybe keep a coconut in the air with keyblade strokes, similar to KH2 twilight town mission, timing buttons for an "I wanna be like you" dance-off, or even a bossfight. They could also make another vine swinging thing like from Deep Jungle..but make it ten times as long, twice as frustrating and nearly impossible to figure out..labyrinth style and have it lead wherever it is that Kaa spends his time..Then another hypnotism based mini-game ensues, giving the player a serpentine keyblade upon victory.. anddd...im done
  11. I've got a few questions about the keyblade and overall keyblade lore that I'm hoping you guys and help me out with.. 1- Sora never went through the inheritance ceremony..Terra passed it down to Riku..When Destiny Islands fell to the darkness, Riku should have gotten the keyblade, but he accepted the darkness which allowed Sora to wield instead..Assuming that I have that right, is this the only case we know of something like this occurring? In Axel's case, I'm assuming all he did was show he had a strong heart in his desperation to find his friends..Also, does Ventus' heart have anything to do with Sora getting the keyblade or is just really the Riku thing? 2-What is the significance of the kingdom key? I wouldn't even ask if it weren't for the Kingdom Key D, or the fact that the X Blade is forged from two separate kingdom keys..but it just seems like there is something special about that particular keyblade, other than the fact that it's the default blade we start every game with.. 3-I'm almost embarrassed to ask this, because it seems like a silly question, but when Sora gets a new keyblade, is he just given a keychain that he attaches to the kingdom key and transforms it, or are the characters in the various worlds he visits actually handing him a brand new keyblade that already existed?
  12. -What is Kingdom Hearts? -Who trained Yen Sid? -How do Squall, Leon, Yuffie, and Aerith know so much about the keyblade? -How did Xehanort get off Destiny Islands to begin with? -What happend to Tidus and Wakka? -When peace is restored, does that mean the worlds will come back together as one? -Is the theory of the Old Mansion in Twilight town accurate? And if not, than what is it's significance? -Less of a question, and more just curiosity. Who is Marluxia? If exploring Castle Oblivion was so important to Xemnas, than he must have been important enough to be in charge over Vexen, Zexion, Larxene, Lexaeus, and Axel. (unless this was already explained and that Marluxia and the rest were sent there because Xemnas wanted them out of the way because he knew they were traitors) Either way, it doesnt make sense to send somebody on an important mission if you don't trust them.
  13. I agree with this. Sora is the central character, and his part of the story should be the main focus. But Riku's story (among others) is important too. I sometimes wish they'd do a version of KH1 where we can play the entire game through Riku's POV. Maybe if they did an intro sequence like they did in KH2 where we played as Roxas. That'd be fine by me. Honestly, i can't stand the COM gameplay, but when RE:COM came out, i busted through it only so i could play that reverse:rebirth section. Riku's goes though darker stuff. I feel like his storyline is a little more mature than sora's. And growing up with the series, I'd prefer a darker story. Plus...Riku's a keyblade master now! I'd like to see him take the lead a bit.
