Biography: Since he was just 7, Kenji was already considered a Chess prodigy having participated in numerous chess tournaments and is now one of the top Chess players in the world. To this day, he had never lost a single tournament and he dreams to become the greatest Chess master in world. Because of his experience as a competitive Chess player, He is able to remain calm and rational even in the most difficult circumstances and is also very clever, intelligent and decisive. He also views life as a game and thinks of himself as above everyone else and is able to manipulate people for his own purposes thus he considers them as "Pawns". In order to achieve his dream of becoming the world's greatest Chess master, Kenji accepted an invitation to the prestigious Hope's Peak Academy however, he'll soon find himself in the game of his life as he is about to engage in a deadly game of wits and murder that will put all his skills and abilities he had gained from his experience in Chess to the ultimate test.
