  1. I'd argue the Mass Effect trilogy are very cinematic RPGs.
  2. The overall plan is solid, but I'm talking about that specific scene and the time travel. No, he shouldn't be able to collect them again. Not unless he gives up his body again and gets young Xehanort all over again which isn't what happens. At face value, he collected twelve versions of himself to form Organization XIII, with Sora being the thirteenth vessel; he explains all of this to Mickey and Riku to convince them to fight him, then when he doesn't get Sora because Lea interferes, he still isn't bothered by it for some reason, then says that they're all returning to their 'own time' with the same fading animation even though he's supposed to be the 'real' Xehanort and everybody else is supposed to make up his Organization...which they can't since they're all returning to the past. And again, as far as we know now, there is no way for him to reclaim those individuals unless he did something dumb like create them digitally. It simply doesn't make sense if we're taking what he says as literal. It can only make sense if it's a ruse and his Organization isn't actually complete yet, or else it wasn't present in that particular scene.
  3. Look, I basically don't believe anything Xehanort says because his entire plan makes absolutely no sense if we're taking him at face value. My point is the entire scene is one giant ruse to convince Mickey and Riku to gather seven lights by giving the impression that he has thirteen darknesses when he barely has three. Of course he's going to say stuff like 'this was all foreseen' because he wants them to believe his threat. The Master Xehanort we see in DDD is a distraction who only looks like what Yen Sid and Mickey expect to see while the real reformed Xehanort is out there actually collecting thirteen darknesses. Every single person in that room does the same 'fade' animation, including Master Xehanort. I can't believe that's an oversight.
  4. Yen Sid says that Master Xehanort will return since it's his heart that gets reformed, but the form he would take wouldn't be old MX, it would be Terranort. The only time they even call him Master in DDD is that exact part where Mickey exclaims that they 'were right about' him, which can easily be justified as Mickey just reacting to seeing the old Master return in the first place. As for Xehanort, of course he'd say he's the 'real thing', he's trying to convince the seven lights to join up, it's why he led Mickey to counting up their warriors He wanted Mickey to come to that conclusion and he presented his 'thirteen darknesses' in such a state as a show of force to convince them...but he leaves exactly the same way everyone else does. They all return to their respective times, including YX, Xigbar and Saix. None of them were really 'there'. Whether Xehanort presents himself as Master in KHIII remains to be seen, but it doesn't make sense for him to have left the same way everybody else did if he was fully in the present. They would have used the normal dark corridor animation they've been using everywhere else in the series, even in the same game.
  5. Yeah he does. He fades in the exact same manner, it just happens a little quicker for dramatic effect. Personally, I think that whole thing was just for show and Xehanort doesn't even have 13 darknesses yet. I don't even think MX is 'really' there. I think Young Xehanort brought Master Xehanort back through time travel to scare the good guys into forming 7 lights so that they're all taken care of and the REAL reformed Xehanort - Terranort - can begin gathering his true 13 darknesses, of which includes Braig, Isa and possibly even Marluxia. But the whole time-displaced versions of himself thing was just for show and it'll be completely different in KHIII. The only other option is Nomura pulls something out of his butt to make the logistics make sense, like 'Oh, they all returned from whence they came but I also created digital versions of all my former selves and pulled them from the dataspace to help me in the real worlds! I'm so smart!' *finger movements* 'KEYBLADE!!!'
  6. tbf, it was pretty likely Treasure Planet would be included just based on the fact that Roy Conli is involved in getting the films he worked on into the game. Given the fact that he also worked on Hunchback, it's possible the plan was always to introduce the films he worked on in the games, with the first 'part' of that plan being Hunchback and Treasure Planet in DDD and then Tangled and Big Hero 6 in KHIII, but probably due to hardware limitations or budgetary concerns, they weren't able to put Treasure Planet in DDD.
  7. Well he's the least popular and least well-known, but he's definitely the most grounded and relatable character, being a guy who has to take care of his disabled brother and all. I imagine if they went with a Netflix show it'd star the original GR though, Johnny Blaze.
  8. I doubt a plushie, though I'd accept that. Personally though, PS4 theme would probably be best for me. I like the 2.5 pin but it's pretty useless, unless you work at like T.G.I. Fridays or something.
  9. If they're using Robbie Reyes for AoS, Marvel TV might be prepping the audience for an eventual Ghost Rider Netflix show, like it's been rumored for months.
  10. Please be good please be good please be good
  11. 'From the team that brought you... the only good modern Sonic games.' Off to a good start already...
  12. Yes, but ONLY if they actually touch up on the original games. If they can make the graphics look even better (as FFX/X-2 did on PS4) and fix bugs like the Drive Form loading issue, then sure, absolutely. Otherwise, why even bother? I love these games to death but I really don't want to do everything all over again for no reason.
  13. Of course TGJ makes a video commenting on the new art, with THE SAME type of exaggerated question as he pulled for the 'IS KHIII ALMOST COMPLETE???' video.

    1. PrinceNoctis

      PrinceNoctis

I don't think the title is exaggerated though...The question is legit. Are these the new outfits for Riku and Kairi? No exaggeration there.

    2. Kingdomhe

      Kingdomhe

He hasn't done anything like that since.

    3. PrinceNoctis

      PrinceNoctis

His credibility isn't low to me...I mean he stayed true to his word that's all. He said it as a joke anyway

  14. As usual, Soraalam knows what's up. Although I still think 2017 is within the realm of possibility.
  15. The only problem I experienced was the Drive Form loading thing, which is prevalent in every copy and sucks. Other than that, I have to assume you just got a buggier copy than most. I'm not saying there aren't flaws, but I think there's more positives than negatives.
  16. Is it not possible that the Master disappears at that point in the story and Luxu is effectively in charge at that point? He disappears 'not long' after the Master, so it's not impossible. Besides, the chain that's worn in the trailer definitely marks him as Luxu. It doesn't make sense for them to make two different coat models for the same guy when there's only one minimal difference.
  17. Well, I mean we've had basically zero news all of last year AND this year. Of course people are losing interest.

  19. Honestly, for Toy Story, they should just have Sora look like his PlayArts Kai figure.
  20. If they're following the same pattern as 2.5, we should get the box art for 2.8 within the next few weeks. Hopefully.

  21. With a passion. I'm fine with you growing stronger as you play the game, but I shouldn't have to run around in the same spot forever killing the same enemies just to continue the story without getting my balls rocked. Really though, my beef with grinding is mainly with turn-based games. I actually enjoy grinding in KH because the gameplay is incredibly fun for me. Turn-based makes me want to snap my own neck most of the time.
  22. What a terrible way to announce such a major twist.
