[SPOILERS] About Terra and Ven and the Chamber of Waking
Master Eraqus replied to shonen's topic in Kingdom Hearts - General
Time flows much more slowly in the Realm of Darkness then it does in the Realm of Light. That's why Aqua didn't look like she aged in 10 years. As to how much has passed in the Realm of Darkness while ten years passed in the Realm of Light, I don't know. -
[SPOILERS] About Terra and Ven and the Chamber of Waking
Master Eraqus replied to shonen's topic in Kingdom Hearts - General
But Xemnas was searching for the Chamber specifically to find Ventus. So he knew he was there, he just didn't know where to find it. -

[SPOILERS] About Terra and Ven and the Chamber of Waking
Master Eraqus replied to shonen's topic in Kingdom Hearts - General
Aqua replied "yes," because Terra-Xehanort had asked if "this place" (the place where Aqua had hidden Ventus) was the Chamber of Waking. It's because of this scene that Xemnas knew that Ventus was somewhere in Castle Oblivion in the Chamber of Waking. Also, about Ventus' body being kidnapped. We see in DDD after Sora reunites with the Dream Eaters that Ven's body is still in Castle Oblivion. Only Aqua can solve the mystery of the castle and find Ventus. -
Ok, let's say that the Master of Masters and Braig are the same person. Why have different voice actors? It's too obvious? Then why have different voices to begin with? The eye is his actual eye. He specifically says, "My eye to be exact." Braig clearly lost an eye since Terra shot him in the eye as well as having scars. We don't know what happened to the box. If Braig time travelled to the events of Chi, at least a version of him should have existed at that point, which didn't. Also, we have no idea what's in the box. Given what's written on it, it most likely has something to do with the X-Blade.

After playing 0.2, how do you think Kingdom Hearts 3 will be?
Master Eraqus replied to Wan_Pisu's topic in Poll of the Week
KH3 is gonna be amazing, awesome, incredible... just, incredibly amazing. I just finished the game on Prod Mode. The gameplay was exciting, challenging and I never felt like I was overpowered or breaking the game. I could really see how much the Osaka Team improved in gameplay mechanics; Shotlocks weren't as overpowered as in BBS and it actually took a while to refill the gauge, the Situation Commands were an amazing new feature and the combat felt like I was playing KH2, but surprisingly better, and that's mostly because of the magic. The environments were large and beautiful and the characters looked amazing. Dodging didn't make me 100% invincible and I'm proud of that. The bosses were really fun and challenging, especially the final boss. I didn't just went and attacked; I blocked, waited for the right opportunity to strike and it felt rewarding. A.I. was really impressive. Mickey always healed me when I was low on health (if he had MP) and I actually used a few items. Finally, music... C'mon, do I even need to say it? The music is amazing as always. All in all, this game is incredible and I'm extremely excited for KH3 cause if it's gonna be better than this with gameplay, cause I know it will, then what the future holds will have me waiting in excitement.- 19 replies

Creepiest scene in the KH series
Master Eraqus replied to KingdomHearts3's topic in Kingdom Hearts - General
For me, it comes down to two things: Going through End of the World in KH1 creeps me out a little with its eerie music and its unsettling environments. The 6th Day in KH2 when not attacking enemies because there's no music and having all the NPC's gone makes it feel like I'm going through a ghost town. -
Well, they could always just change certain events from the movie. A Disney world doesn't necessarily have to follow everything exactly from their respective movies. Many Disney worlds have had alternate scenarios from their movie counterparts, such as Wonderland, Olympus Coliseum, Deep Jungle, Agrabah, Neverland, etc. If a Meet the Robinsons world would appear, they could always alter the story. They could, for example, have Doris taking over be an event that actually happens instead of an alternate future that changed the original. But that's really my opinion on the matter. I'm indifferent for a Meet the Robinsons world.

There's One Thing I Can Never Understand
Master Eraqus replied to Tails's topic in General Discussion
It's literally just bragging rights. They try and leave a comment saying "First" as quickly as they can as soon as the video is uploaded to show that they were "first." Personally, I think it's a dumb trend that was never funny and is pure annoyance. -
You do know you don't have to go to Prankster's Paradise first right?

Me dodging KH2.8 spoilers like...

How are you avoiding spoilers for 2.8?
Master Eraqus replied to The 13th Kenpachi's topic in Poll of the Week
Avoiding going on any topic with "Spoiler" in the title, but still visiting the site as I trust me people here. I've been here for years and I know that no one here is that harsh/disrespectful/etc. Refusing to check my YouTube home page cause I KNOW that something with heavy spoilers in title and thumbnail would pop up. YouTube community overall is unfortunately not as respectful as the people on this site. Not looking in comments on any YouTube video, even if it has nothing to do with Kingdom Hearts. -
Easily the best interpretation of those fans I have ever seen.

Placement in KH Timeline for BBS 0.2
Master Eraqus replied to Neoshadow99's topic in Kingdom Hearts - General
The Secret Episode of BBS takes place right after the cutscene of the Final Episode, i.e. when Aqua is saved from Ven's and Terra's Keyblades. Given that Aqua will travel through ruins of Castle of Dreams, Enchanted Dominion and Dwarf Woodlands, it shows that 0.2 will start at some point before KH1, since Heartless had taken over these worlds and Maleficent captured their respective princesses. Seeing as Aqua will arrive at the Destiny Islands from the end of KH1 implies that these events will continue on during the events of KH1. Finally, seeing as Mickey will separate from Aqua at some point, these events will most likely take place during the events of COM, since Mickey escapes the Realm of Darkness and reunites with Riku in Castle Oblivion after finding the Twilight Town card. It's possible that the game will end with Aqua meeting Ansem the Wise, therefore after the events of KH2. It might also be possible that it will end afterwards, with maybe her being saved or something along those lines. -
Dream Drop Distance Time Travel
Master Eraqus replied to KeybladeMasterDeadpoolio's topic in Kingdom Hearts - General
My best guess would be that it would help indicate when the Mark of Mastery Exam would be over, i.e. they would know it would be over when they returned to normal. And they would turn back to their original selves after returning to the Mysterious Tower: Since Young Xehanort had gained to power to travel through time thanks to Ansem SOD, he may have led Sora, and thus Riku since he was in Sora's dreams, to that point in time and leaving the Realm of Sleep. As for why, it was the point in time when Xehanort was recompleted after Ansem SOD and Xemnas had been felled by Sora. Master Xehanort in DDD is referred to as the "most future self" and was part of the Seekers of Darkness. So, it was that point in time where they wished to gather the 13 Seekers of Darkness, with Sora as the 13th. You got me there on the memory loss for Sora and Riku, but for the time limit, they didn't fade away since they did return to their original time. -
A Brand New Keyblade! Restore Memories (My Creation)
Master Eraqus replied to Movies798's topic in Creative Media
I absolutely love this drawing! The Keyblade seems reminiscent of Two Become One and Oblivion and I just love how the 'teeth' of the Keyblade looks like flames. The keychain was the perfect choice for this Keyblade. This is an amazing design. I love it!- 4 replies

Dream Drop Distance Time Travel
Master Eraqus replied to KeybladeMasterDeadpoolio's topic in Kingdom Hearts - General
I appreciate the confidence, but unfortunately... no. I am not entirely certain about the whole body thing as I remember being told that by someone here on KH13 quite a while ago and I'm not sure who. (Hoping it was Harlea Quinn...) However, I might help with this quote from the Post Game Famitsu Interview: So the reason they look younger is because of Yen Sid's magic. Whether they possessed their past selves' bodies or not, I'm not sure, but I am certain someone told me on this site, but unfortunately forgot who. So, my apologies if I got that one wrong. They ended up to the present day because when Sora entered The World That Never Was, he was no longer in the Realm of Sleep and thus, in the real world. According to Xigbar, they led Sora there. Dream Drop Distance Time Travel
Master Eraqus replied to KeybladeMasterDeadpoolio's topic in Kingdom Hearts - General
The reason they ended up in Destiny Islands was because Yen Sid had sent them back in time before Destiny Islands was swallowed by the darkness, as stated in this cutscene: The reason they're younger is because, as Young Xehanort stated, you must leave your body behind in order to move through time. That's what Sora and Riku did and went into their younger bodies. It's like X-Men Days of Future Past if you watched that movie. -
Dream Drop Distance Time Travel
Master Eraqus replied to KeybladeMasterDeadpoolio's topic in Kingdom Hearts - General
No, I'm saying that I think when somebody time travels, they just fade away like the Seekers of Darkness did at the end of DDD. For example, when Young Xehanort time travels and leaves Destiny Islands to the future, he would just fade away. Either way, does it really matter on knowing how time travelling works, outside of curiosity?
