  1. This is a pretty good theory. I was about the comment about the fact that a version of you must exist at the destination, but you brought that up. Plus, if this theory is true, it ('it' referring to the story of Unchaind Chi) could bring a good explanation for her return in KH2. Oh, I'm just shaking with excitement for Maleficent to be relevant again. EDIT: Unfortunately, there's just one problem with this theory. We don't know if the 'hologram' of herself created from the Book of Prophecies counts as a version of herself with which she can time travel to. My guess is that it would count, but I just want to bring this up for the fact that this theory wouldn't work if the 'hologram' doesn't count.
  2. Kind of ironic considering the name of our main character. No, the events of Chi do not take place within the Book of Prophecies. If you want to know about the Book of Prophecies, check the spoiler box:
  3. What I mean is that Chirithy makes it sound like that he accepted joining the Dandelions but immediately went into the Unchained Realm after that and not going to the Keyblade War. At least, that's what I'm getting from this scene. It might be Dark Chirithy. He might have disguised himself, since he did it (probably) when he gave us the bangle to collect sins and therefore, darkness. If not, we'll probably see him again since he said that he'll meet the Player in another dream.
  4. Finally saw the English translation. Here are my thoughts: When "Reconnect Kingdom Hearts" popped up, I literally screamed, "Of course it's Reconnect!" So is it Ephemera or Ephemer? Why is it suddenly Ephemer? So... according to Chirithy, the Player accepted going with the Dandelions after talking with Skuld and from my understanding, never took part in the Keyblade War. So, either Chirithy is lying for whatever reason (though I doubt he would) or the rest from that story was a dream. Wierd, but quite interesting. I'll have to take time to think about the situation. When Maleficent said, "Besides just that, where in the world did he go off to again?", I think she might be referring to Pete. "Sora can't meddle in this world." So Maleficent knows Sora at this point, i.e. this isn't some Maleficent from Birth By Sleep or even before that. "Because nothing can get through right?" So Sora can't enter the Unchained Realm? I'm assuming it's the Unchained Realm. Final thoughts: I'm confused, but I'm not complaining. I adore the Kingdom Hearts series for keeping things like this to explain later one. Soon, a discussion/s will start with this and we can possibly theorise or guess things. Considering the Player was unconscious for who-knows-how-long in the Keyblade Graveyard, we simply didn't see it. My guess is that we'll most likely see it in Back Cover, since it will be from the perspectives of the Foretellers.
  5. We may learn about the X-Blade in the upcoming update on the 29th, in the 'Season Two' in Unchained Chi and/or Back Cover. It may have appeared during the Keyblade War and we may not have seen it due to the Player going unconscious for who-knows-how-long after fighting four Foretellers. As for Master Xehanort possibly being wrong: Once again, we have the three possibilities of seeing the X-Blade (with my best guess being Back Cover since we'll have the story from the Foretellers' perspectives). Now it's possible that since this battle took place thousands/hundreds/whatever amount of years before the other games, the tale may have been changed passed down many generations and eventually becoming a fairy tale to some and a legend to others.
  6. I loved the ending. Everything about the Nightmare Chirithy was both surprising an awesome, the Keyblade War was pretty dark; seeing all those hearts flying away and all the Keyblades just quickly landing on the ground of the wasteland; and during the whole thing, I just felt awful for the Player. But in the end, I couldn't help but smile and felt really happy for the Player for reuniting with Ephemera and Skuld. I haven't been really happy from the final events of a Kingdom Hearts game since Kingdom Hearts 2 and Birth By Sleep (kinda with the latter; more like tears of joy thought I certainly wasn't happy with the fates of Aqua, Terra and Ventus ). Did it leave a lot of unanswered questions? Yes, but considering Unchained Chi will continue the story, Chi Back Cover will retell the story from the perspectives of the Foretellers and there's still one more update for Chi releasing on the 29th, I know that there is more to tell and questions will certainly be answered.
  7. I'm not saying that Ava isn't the traitor (though I personally doubt it for now). I'm saying that the quote mentioned has nothing to do with the traitor and does not confirm that Ava is the traitor.
  8. That doesn't mean she's the traitor. "And, with that one swing, the bell that tells the end of the battle will sound... and the battle will finally begin, at the destined time" This quote means that at that point, the battle will begin. It has nothing to do with the traitor.
  9. Darn it. I can't view the article for some reason. >_< I wanna see so bad! I keep getting an error message. EDIT: Never mind. It works now.
  10. If I recall correctly, I believe it was stated in an interview that when someone is recompleted after their Heartless and Nobody are destroyed, they were the clothes that they were wearing before the separation, which would explain the outfits of Dilan, Even, Aeleus and Ienzo. As for the hair, that does peek my interest since his hair is not grown like Xigbar's since Lea's and Ienzo's hairs grew like their respective Nobodies.
  11. I think in DDD he's still known as Xigbar because he has kept the name with the Recusant's Sigil as to be marked as a Xehanort vessel.
  12. I would say that is a recompleted Braig after his Heartless and Xigbar were destroyed as we don't see Braig's body on the floor where Apprentice Xehanort released his heart. However, the weird things about this is that his hair looks just like that of Braig in Birth By Sleep and not like Xigbar's in Kingdom Hearts 2. It's weird because Lea's and Ienzo's hairs grew just like their respective Nobodies.
  13. "Complete without having to continue" If you run out of HP, you can spend 100 jewels to refill your HP and special gauge. This objective means to not do that.
  14. If I have to patience to wait for Kingdom Hearts 3, then I have the patience to wait for anything.
  15. Meh, it's just eight days. I can wait a little longer.
  16. Yes, you need to leave your body behind in order to time travel, which is what Terra-Xehanort did by leaving his body (Xemnas) and his heart (Ansem SOD) travelled back in time. BUT, while he discarded his body, Young Xehanort did not. Young Xehanort borrowed the power to time travel from Ansem SOD. Now, as a side note, I would like to state that Ventus may not necessarily time travel. There are two other possibilities that I can think of: 1. Realm of Darkness: Time flows much more slowly in the Realm of Darkness. With all those years, Ventus may have aged slightly. 2. Realm of Sleep: There are many Chirithy's in Chi and we know that they're Dream Eaters. There must be some connection and explanation on how they end up in a separate realm unaffected by time.
  17. Considering Chi/Unchained Chi takes place who-knows-how-many years before the other games, he's probably not born yet.
  18. I'm not really sure if a Brother Bear world would work, but I think a summon would be alright. It was Sora's clothes that turned him into a lion in Pride Lands.
  19. According to the Dream Drop Distance Ultimania:
  20. It's definitely complicated at first, but when one breaks it down, it's not as complicated as before. To time travel: You must first leave your body behind to do it. Then there must be a version of you waiting at the destination. Upon arrival, you can only move forward in time. (Meaning that once you arrive at a certain point in time, you can only go forward in time, until I guess you return to your own time) And you cannot rewrite the events that are destined to happen. (Meaning you can't change the future, which also means you can't change the past)
  21. Here's who I think the other seven are/might be: Vanitas: He seems like an obvious candidate and we can see his keychain on the chess board. Plus, it's obvious that he was already a Xehanort vessel during Birth By Sleep due to the colour of his eyes. Luxord/Luxord's somebody (I heard there's a casino called "Dulor" or something like that): We can see a pair of dice on the chess board, which is most likely an obvious reference to Luxord. Plus, something to note, his element was/is time and he was number 10 of Organisation XIII, which is the roman numeral 'X'. Riku Replica: Personally, I think the Riku we see in Prankster's Paradise in Dream Drop Distance is the Riku Replica who was either saved from his death (maybe the pool of darkness at his death was Young Xehanort saving him) or was time travelled from a point in time before his death. Either way, I think Riku Replica can serve as a symbol to how Riku could have ended up if he had given up to the darkness. Gula A.K.A. Leopardus Foreteller: One of the chess pieces looks similar to Gula's keychain. The keychain I'm referring to is number 3 in this picture: http://s794.photobucket.com/user/ShardofTruth/media/Other%20KH%20stuff/Chess%20Pieces%20KHIII.png.html As for Gula himself, there's not much to say since at this point, we don't know that much about him... yet. Terra-Xehanort or Apprentice Xehanort: I think he's an obvious candidate as well. There's not much difference between the two physically. There main differences are that Apprentice Xehanort has both Terra's and Xehanort's hearts joined as one, hence the brown eyes, and that he lost his memories...uhm, supposedly. Either way, I think one of these, and I would pick Terra-Xehanort, would be a Seeker of Darkness and two chess pieces are the Guardian's head. These two pieces might symbolise Ansem SOD and his guardian or Ansem SOD and Terra-Xehanort since these are the only two who have summoned the guardian. I don't really have any other members that I am certain or really sure of but I will give one more that could be a possibility: Demyx: This may seem surprising and I would be surprised too (heck, I doubt he'd be one of them), but I would just like to say that the number 7 chess piece in the image I mentioned earlier is really similar to Demyx's regular sitar but even more similar to the sitar "Sanctuary" in 358/2 days .Also, can we just note that number 9 of the image looks just like Xehanort's keychain? Anyway, now to mention on your choices. This is all an opinion and please do not take any offence as I mean none. Ansem the Wise: I really doubt he'd be one of them. He was always known to be wise (it's in the title ). Plus, he's not really a fighter. As for the coat, while we don't know how he got one, he already had two coats ready for Riku and Mickey in Chain of Memories. Maybe he made them? (Not made them as in inventing them, cause we've seen Master Xehanort wearing one four years before the events of Birth By Sleep. Roxas: Young Xehanort already stated in Dream Drop Distance that Roxas was a worthy candidate, but he grew too self aware and returned to Sora. So he's definitely not one of the 12 but it's possible he becomes the 13th (since they don't have one yet), but I personally doubt it. Xaldin: We see Dilan along with Even, Aeleus, Ienzo and Lea in Radiant Garden in Dream Drop Distance and as we see in the secret ending of Re:Coded, Isa (or now maybe still known as Saix, just like Braig is still known as Xigbar), Braig only took Saix/Isa. Marluxia: Xemnas may have hinted him not being a Seeker of Darkness in Dream Drop Distance. "However, through weakness of body, weakness of will or weakness of trust, most of the original members we had chosen for the Organisation were inadequate. Thus naturally, they never had a chance to attain their goal." "Weakness of trust" may refer to Marluxia's and Larxene's betrayal and intentions to take over the Organisation. (But chess piece number 10 in the image really looks like Larxene's knives)
  22. While I do find this to be very interesting, I do think it's stupid to keep this thing exclusive to the event and not be a part of the game, considering this seems very important. Now with that out of the way, I shall now give my thoughts on the scenario. *plays horns and drums* According to Nomura, this takes place shortly before 0.2. That means that this takes place before Mickey catches up to Riku in Castle Oblivion and possibly before Sora defeats Marluxia, though I think it takes place while Sora is asleep. Namine' was arranging the memories of Sora and according to Data-Namine' in Re:Coded, Namine' had found memories within Sora that don't belong to him. These memories most likely belonged to Ventus, since his heart was/is still inside of Sora. Now with this in mind, this may have somehow affected Terra, or in this case the Lingering Will due to him being Ventus' friend. This may be a situation similar to, but maybe not exactly, when everyone who was connected to Sora forgot about him. Maybe because of this similar situation, the Lingering Will remembered Aqua and Ventus. But this does make me question why the Lingering Will forgot about Aqua and Ventus. Was the action of Namine' affecting Sora's memories and those connected to him in Chain of Memories repeated to Ventus as well, even though his heart is asleep?
