Seekers of Darkness
Master Eraqus replied to Zekrofire's topic in Kingdom Hearts III & Kingdom Hearts III Re Mind
Young Xehnort is one of the seekers of darkness since we can see him at one point in one of the seats. Also, Marluxia has not literally been confirmed. -

I Have Been Here For Three Years
Master Eraqus replied to Master Eraqus's topic in General Discussion
Thank you. The feeling is mutual. -
Today makes three years since I became a member on this website. I've got to say that I have no regrets for becoming a part of this community. I had discovered this site way before I became a member, but as I did, I managed to talk with others who love/like/would wanna have babies with/adore the series known as Kingdom Hearts. I was able to make new friends and be a part of easily the best community I've ever been with, made up of some of the nicest people I've ever met on the internet who I still, to this day ,call the opposite of internet trolls. Sure there have been a few arguments here and there, but they stayed as just that; arguments. No insults, no assumptions, no disrespect of others' opinions and no claims of having certain 'relationships' with another's mother. Just some of the greatest people I've ever met and had the pleasure communicating with; people who may disagree and argue, which is only natural, but, at the same time, respect each other. This community is just simply amazing. I'm glad to have discovered this website and its awesome community. May the next year keep me happy with you guys. Just... I love every single one of you.

Actually Terra wasn't a Master: -- The Keyblade succession can only be performed by a Keyblade Master, but we see Terra performing this rite with Riku - does this mean we can consider Terra a Keyblade Master? Nomura: No. Terra was not awarded that title by his Master Eraqus, so no matter how Master Xehanort flatters him he is not a Keyblade Master. But that's just a matter of whether or not he's achieved the official title. Even Eraqus recognised that Terra possessed suitable power to be a Master, which is why he was able to perform the rite for Riku.

This is really the answer to the question "What makes someone a Keyblade Master?" A Keyblade Master isn't someone who is extremely strong or powerful. If that were the case, Sora and Riku would have become Masters a hundred times over. A Keyblade Master means that the person has control of the light and darkness in their heart, mainly the darkness cause light doesn't really give any problems... for now at least. To quote Master Eraqus from Birth By Sleep, "... this is neither a competition nor a battle for supremacy. Not a test of wills, but a test of heart" Being a Master doesn't necessarily mean you are strong, as we can see Terra (a non-Master) defeat MASTER Eraqus and MASTER Xehanort. Both Terra and Sora failed their respective exams because they couldn't control the darkness in their heart during the exam. Is it ironic that Aqua and Terra just had to fight Light orbs and each other while Sora and Riku had to awaken seven sleeping worlds? Yes, but this really depends on the Master giving the exam and what they give. It's like in real life with school exams. An exam of one school can be easy compared with the exam of another school. Plus, the intention of the exam in Birth By Sleep was just to become Masters if they pass. The intention of the exam in Dream Drop Distance was for Sora and Riku to become Masters AND gain "a new kind of power." I do agree that it's really ironic, but hey, I don't make the exams so what do I know? Looks at username. Wait... Sure knowing Sora throughout the games, he's shown to have control over the darkness in his heart (except when Anti-Form comes into play) and Riku had finally shown that not only had he found a way to control the darkness but to also use it to his advantage and walk the road to dawn. Here's the thing though, much like in real life with regular exams, you need to prove yourself if you know these things or if you can do them. Sure, some exams may be stupid, but again, one must prove themselves and it's the same here. "Do you have control over the darkness in your heart? You do? Then show me." It's kind of like that, y'know? This is really my explanation and thoughts on this situation. I respect your opinion completely, I just wanted to state mine and what is a Master to be exact.

Could DDD in 2.8 be a FM version of the Game?
Master Eraqus replied to SomeKHFan's topic in Kingdom Hearts - General
Yes I do think there will be some other new content besides the new Catnuki Spirit. First off, I'm expecting to have a different secret message from the last one. The secret message states, "The past will be reawakened as a new number in never-before-seen detail. Prepare yourself for the awakening of the next number." This obviously references the HD ReMixes and Kingdom Hearts 3. But now that we know that they are a thing and that half of the message would be pointless when 2.8 releases, I'm expecting a different message that would foreshadow... something for Kingdom Hearts 3. Dream Eaters: I doubt the Catnuki would be the only new Spirit, so I'm expecting more. Not a lot, but maybe like four more or something along that quantity. New cutscenes: Hmm, maybe one more secret cutscene. New secret bosses: I'm HOPING for this guy to make a return: -
Does The New Trailer Silence Nay-Sayers?

Agreed. They look absolutely beautiful. -
Ven's and Terra's Wayfinder in the new trailer
Master Eraqus replied to khsg's topic in Kingdom Hearts - General
I think that clip was from the intro of 0.2. So, my guess is that it shows a recap of Birth By Sleep (like KH2 did for KH1 and COM), with Aqua losing her two friends and both of them becoming possessed at one point or another. EDIT: With the 'situation' of the thrones in Where Nothing Gathers, I think it symbolises the creation of Organisation XIII while Aqua was in the Realm of Darkness -
My initial reaction for finding out its delay: Oh man. Now I'm a little annoyed. Few minutes later: Meh, I can wait for another month. It's not like this is a huge delay. Not really. Just because 2.8 is releasing in 2017 doesn't automatically mean that 3 won't release next year either. I'm not saying it will for certain, but it's not confirming anything for KH3.

Someone was able to post the trailer. I don't think this is technically a leak so here you go: (If it is a leak or if I should remove it for any reason, please inform me immediately). So apparently, the stream went offline right when this trailer was showing -_-. Luckily, someone posted it. EDIT: KHInsider has posted the trailer as well. It can be viewed here:

Are these "console upgrades" really a good thing?
Master Eraqus replied to Soravids's topic in General Discussion
I don't really care about the frame rate or quality of a game. I already have a PS4, so in my opinion, getting this new one is pointless. The most important aspect of a game is gameplay, not graphics or frame rate. I mean, if people are excited for the PS4 Pro, then good for them, glad they got something to look forward to, but I don't really think it deserves so much praise or attention. A higher frame rate and quality isn't gonna change how much fun I'm gonna have with the game. I'd rather spend my money on something worth it right now. If I DIDN'T have a PS4, then I'd probably buy this, but since I already have one, it's not really that worth it.
