Possible Explanation For Aqua on Destiny Islands
Master Eraqus replied to TheKingdomGamer's topic in Kingdom Hearts - General
Uhm, the sky is blue, both in that screenshot and when you fight Ansem SOD in KH1. So, I don't know where you're getting a red sky. (EDIT: Ok, I see the red sky, but it's only at a certain point against the Devil's Wave boss fight. Other than that, it's always blue.) The End of the World in KH1 was in the Realm of Light, not the Realm of Darkness. As we see at the end of KH1, Sora, Donald, Goofy and Ansem SOD are on the outside of the Door to Darkness, with Riku and Mickey passed it in the Realm of Darkness. We know that Destiny Islands was swallowed by darkness, so it would make sense for Aqua to find it in the Realm of Darkness, just like Castle of Dreams, Dwarf Woodlands and Enchanted Dominion. The thing is, that area where we see Mickey and Aqua (in the cutscene) looks exactly like the place Sora fought Darkside and Ansem SOD at the end of KH1, therefore, the Realm of Light. So, if they are the same place, that means Aqua at one point escaped the Realm of Darkness. But, we know from Blank Points that she was still there after the events of KH2. So, this definitely brings up some confusion and some mystery.- 2 replies

0.2 BBS & x Back Cover comparison
Master Eraqus replied to SnowPint7Fourths's topic in Kingdom Hearts - General
I agree. It's definitely interesting to show us one case to another. There might be some form of connection or parallels between them. -

Then the same points from the last one except for number 2. -

I don't think they're the same briefcase. The one Luxu (I think it's Luxu from the Keyblade) has looks bigger than Riku's. Luxu is dragging the box while Riku is putting it over his shoulder, so unless Riku's giving Lexaeus a run for his munny... Riku's briefcase doesn't have those lock... uhm, things on the side/s. -
I already love the Master of Masters. His laid-back, calm attitude is hilarious and fun to watch. I can simply say that this trailer has got me even more excited than I thought I could. I'm glad they surprised us with this trailer and I enjoyed watching. Here's to just a month left to continue this great story of an amazing series.

Kingdom Hearts game you play the most RIGHT now?

*looks away from tablet attempting to get medals* Me? Oh uhm, VCAST. -
Well, DiZ's explosion helped return Riku back to normal, but before then, he already began to wield Way to the Dawn as we see him use it before 'fighting' Saix and saving Kairi.

I'll explain the whole situation (cause I wanna): Terra commenced the Keyblade Inheritance Ceremony with Riku and because of this, Riku was destined to obtain a Keyblade one day. When Destiny Islands was being consumed by darkness in KH1, Riku succumbed to darkness and Sora happened to be there. Sora reached out to the light within Riku's heart and temporarily obtained Riku's Keyblade. Riku eventually began to wield Soul Eater which is mainly a sword of darkness; not a Keyblade. I don't remember completely, but I think he obtained this sword from Maleficent or gained this power from Maleficent. When Sora arrives at Hollow Bastion, Riku takes back what is his and the Keyblade returns to Riku. Once Sora confronts him once again and says his speech, the Keyblade decides to move back to Sora as its permanent wielder. Riku eventually, at some point during the events of KH2, obtains a new Keyblade "Way to the Dawn," which design is based off of Soul Eater. I'm not entirely sure, but I think he got this Keyblade because he was always destined to obtain one because of Terra. We see in Dream Drop Distance that he can still wield Soul Eater, but again, this is merely a sword and not a Keyblade.

Correct order to play the games for first timers
Master Eraqus replied to David Buchwald's topic in Kingdom Hearts - General
I think you should play them in the order they released. They were released that way and I think that's how one can best enjoy it. Playing them in a different order can have spoilers and there are some things that the story wouldn't explain cause it would expect you to know them. So, I think the best order is: Kingdom Hearts Final Mix (From 1.5) Kingdom Hearts Re: Chain of Memories (From 1.5) Kingdom Hearts 2 Final Mix (From 2.5) Kingdom Hearts 358/2 Days (From 1.5) Kingdom Hearts Birth By Sleep Final Mix (From 2.5) Kingdom Hearts Re: Coded (From 2.5) Kingdom Hearts Dream Drop Distance (From 2.8) Kingdom Hearts 0.2 Birth By Sleep -A Fragmentary Passage (From 2.8) Kingdom Hearts Chi Back Cover (From 2.8) Kingdom Hearts 3 Now there's also the case of Chi/Unchained Chi. I suggest also playing Unchained Chi after Dream Drop Distance. But if you're not really interested in its gameplay and more into the story, then I suggest watching Everglow's translated playthrough of Chi on YouTube and his playthrough of Unchained Chi, which continues from Chi. -
Will Antiform Return in KH3?
Master Eraqus replied to Danenae's topic in Kingdom Hearts III & Kingdom Hearts III Re Mind
Most likely. Anti Form was definitely a great way to prevent the player from abusing the drive forms. So, unless these new drive forms aren't that powerful but still useful in some way, I would welcome back Anti Form. -
I would just like to leave this message as I realised this recently. So we have Christopher Sabat (who voiced Vegeta and Piccolo from the Dragonball Z series) who voices Dr. Watts. I'm not surprised by this since he had recently voiced another character in Red vs. Blue, another show made by RoosterTeeth. Another show that that started and ended this year that RoosterTeeth made is Camp Camp. In it, once of the characters named Snake was voiced by Dante Basco, who may know for his role as Zuko from Avatar The Last Airbender. Now I'm not confirming anything, but this does make me believe that Dante Basco will voice a character in RWBY, maybe this Volume.

Which appearance of Sora would you most want to cosplay as?
Master Eraqus replied to Wan_Pisu's topic in Poll of the Week
Definitely the Anti Form. I'm a sucker for dark characters and I'd think cosplaying as that would be pretty awesome. -
Venitas has blue eyes.
Master Eraqus replied to WayfindersDestiny's topic in Kingdom Hearts - General
There must be a reason for that. No way that's an error/mistake in a pre-rendered animation. My best guess would be that it symbolises Ventus (one with blue eyes) fighting Vanitas from the inside, thus meaning that he Vanitas isn't completely in control. -

I've already made a topic about this, but screw it. I wanna do it again. *clears throat* I think that so many people nowadays, when it comes to movies, shows and the stories of video games, are just so spoiled; like they're all critics and nitpick the crap out of everything. To me, it almost feels like they hate just for the sake of hating. Now I'm not saying that it's wrong to dislike/hate a story; it's perfectly fine. Y'know, opinions are opinions; nothing more. But it just feels like to me that a lot of people try to find the bad things of a movie/show/video game and claim that it's bad because of those things. Like as if the first 15 minutes of a movie was bad and the rest of the movie was incredible and yet people just talk about the bad constantly and claim that the entire movie is bad just because of those first 15 minutes. In my mind, I just think, "Oh shut up and just enjoy the damn movie." I constantly question why so many people have to act like spoiled critics instead of just enjoying the movie/show/video game and be done with it. The reason I feel this way is because of the way I watch movies/shows/video games, and thankfully, I finally found a perfect comparison to explain it. When I watch a movie, I simply watch and enjoy. I don't care about character development, I don't care about pacing, I don't care if a character was one-dimensional and I don't care if someone's motivations weren't clear or weren't there at all. I'm not saying I hate these concepts; I'm saying that I'm simply indifferent towards them. Here's the comparison I mentioned earlier: When I watch a movie, it's the same as when I eat food. Stay with me here. When I eat food, I don't care about its texture, I don't care how it was presented to me, I don't care who made it and I don't care how it looks. I just grab it, eat it, taste it and then I like it or not (or love it or hate it but you get the idea). The only time I ever 'criticise' food is when there is something I simply can't ignore, like if it's too hot or cold or if it just tastes awful. The equivalent of this with movies is if I think a movie is too long or I got bored or maybe I just simply didn't like it; I don't need to explain why I didn't like it; I just didn't, end of story. I used to be subscribed to CinemaSins cause I used to find their videos funny, but then it just felt like they were so spoiled and just nitpick everything. I get that it's not meant to be taken completely seriously, but it still feels spoiled to me. Thus I move to CinemaWins. I'll probably edit this later cause I gotta go somewhere now, but I think you all get my point.

Which Nobody would you want to return in Kingdom Hearts III?

I think they can. Mainly because we can still fight certain Nobodies even after their respective member perished, such as Dancers and Dragoons in the World That Never Was.- 14 replies

KHUX Book of Prophecy Ilusions
Master Eraqus replied to itsroxas's topic in Kingdom Hearts - General
Saving them wouldn't really do anything. Defeating the 'hologram' Heartless helps the Players to collect Lux. Although, fake or real, I think it would just be weird or 'selfish' in a way to not help those who need help, even if though they are fake and that the Player finds that out, eventually. If I was in that world and saw a hologram person in danger, I'd probably feel the urge to save them and totally not run away from fear, even if I do know that they're fake. So, with the collection of Lux I mentioned, it's a win-win, y'know? I mean, there's no harm in saving them. -
The yellow eyes precisely mean that they are a Xehanort vessel. Yes, the Heartless have yellow eyes, but they're not regular eyes like those of our human characters. They're just menacing, glowing, yellow eyes. Notice in DDD, when Xigbar/Braig states that he's already half-Xehanort and the camera specifically zooms into his yellow eye, which was originally brown in BBS. If yellow eyes is the result of becoming a being of darkness, then how come the eyes of Maleficent, Riku in KH1, Riku Replica, Disney characters such as Frollo, Terra, Sephiroth (who is Cloud's darkness) etc. not turn yellow when they used the darkness? Notice how Terra's eyes turn yellow the moment Xehanort's heart takes Terra's body as a vessel. The only reason the traits of pointy ears and grey hair aren't shown in other member of the Seekers of Darkness is because they only have a piece of Xehanort's heart within them while Terra had his whole heart. In the Kingdom Hearts universe, hearts can change the shape/form of the body. We've seen this multiple times: Ansem SOD changed Riku's body in KH1 to that of Xehanort in his thirties/forties. Roxas (Sora's body) was transformed to look like Ventus, since Ventus' heart was inside him. Master Xehanort's heart changed the appearance of Terra. There's also this quote from the Birth By Sleep Ultimania "Plot Mysteries": -- Comparing the Organisation members when they were human to when they were in the Organisation, apart from Xehanort, only Isa and Braig have differently-shaped ears and differently-coloured eyes - why is this? Nomura: It's a question of whether or not they're deeply connected to Xehanort. In Braig's case, comparing the scene where he's injured in his battle with Terra and flares up at Xehanort, his appearance afterwards changes, which hints that something happened with Xehanort in between.
