Another Theory
JayReaper replied to JayReaper's topic in Kingdom Hearts III & Kingdom Hearts III Re Mind
You could be right, but you also have to take into consideration that every secret boss from the main titles (main titles being KH1, KHII, BBS, and 3D) have been a prominent enemy for the next installment of in the series. While I don't think Julis will be in the game directly, i doubt his presence in 3D meant nothing, unless he is just the most random boss fight of alltime lol -
Have any of you ever gotten your tonsils taken out? If so do you remember at any point after the surgery if your throat was bleeding firetruckING CONSISTENTLY FOR 3 DAYS?

So I've been coming up with a lot of theories lately for the next installment of our favorite series. Tell me what you guys think about this one. I'm sure you all know about the Runaway Brain theory by now, the one that assumes Mickey will become Xehanort's last vessel due to the secret boss in 3D, Julius, being part of a short cartoon that shares the same theme of being possessed by dark forces. In the cartoon Mickey swaps bodies with a a savage monster that shares a striking resemblance to Pete if he had a steroid addiction and a life-time supply of Red Bull. Anyway, I'm beginning to think this theory may prove true, mainly because Mickey is probably the last character anyone would expect to succumb to darkness, and so this would greatly contribute to the darker tone KHIII promises to deliver. Now this would mean Mickey is no longer in the running to be one of the 7 Guardians of Light. My theory is that in his place Yen Sid will emerge from the sidelines and come out of retirement, taking up his keyblade one more time to save his favorite student from the clutches of his former companion and friend, Master Xehanort. I can just see him saying "Now it's personal." I don't actually expect this to happen, but I just think it would be totally badass and provide an unexpected plot twist for the story. Imagine seeing Yen Sid in action for the first time, fighting against a corrupt King Mickey. It would definitely be straying from the series comfort zone but I would love to see this happen.

Co-op mission mode.
JayReaper replied to JayReaper's topic in Kingdom Hearts III & Kingdom Hearts III Re Mind
That's more or less what I had in mind, I probably wasn't clear enough in my explanation. The separate storyline could be played solo as well as cooperatively. Where the main storyline would be considered "Sora's story", the other one would be considered "Eveyone else". You would follow a linear plot that runs parallel to Sora's story while also intertwining with it at points, just like BBS did. For example, if Mickey and Riku are sent on a mission from Yen Sid you could choose to either play as Mickey or Riku, as well as by yourself or with a friend. Regardless of how you choose to play the story does not change, it is still a "Riku/Mickey" part of the story. The next mission might be a training mission for Lea and Kairi and you could choose who you want to play as for this too. There might be Riku/Kairi missions, Lea/Roxas missions, or even some missions with 3 or more playable characters, but regardless they all follow a linear plot that is important to the overall story. -
I think you can still be considered a fan even if you have only played the numbered titles. A lot of people just aren't willing to spend a few hundred dollars on a new handheld console just so they can play the spin-off games. Although if you're a true fan you'll at least do the research on the games you missed because you know that they are important to the overall story. If someone thinks they can jump straight from KH2 to KH3 without playing BBS or 3D they are in for a surprise.I personally have never played 358/2 Days because I was still pretty young when it came out and there was no way in hell my parents were going to buy me a DS just so I could play one game. I still know just about all there is to know with the story though.

The abrupt and incredibly obscure change in weather instilled great fear in the young keyblade wielders. This could only mean one thing.... the prophecies were true, the long winter of sorrow had begun and a massive army of Nazi cats was making its way towards the realm of light.

I bet they are just trying to get a rise out of you. No one "Goes around with their gang and beats people up" without a reason unless they are just truly sadistic pieces of shit. I think you are over-thinking the situation, though I've only heard your side of the story so I can't say for sure. If you stopped commenting I guarantee they will forget you even said anything in a matter of days. I highly doubt they are going to deliberately seek you out with the intent to hurt you because of a facebook comment, that just sounds ridiculous when you really think about it. Best advice I can give? Forget about it.

I honestly don't remember this picture being taken, or the girl in it for that matter haha.

And struck him violently over the head saying "Especially you Lar... but that doesn't mean you are without your flaws, I caught you lastnight...

After the final battle against Xehanort when they are all standing under the beautiful luminescent light of Kingdom Hearts, Sora says to Kairi, "I've been saving this for the right moment. I can't think of a better time than now, here with you, under the light of all worlds." Then, as Sora pulls out the Paopu fruit and Kairi's face lights up with the most beautiful, happiest smile you've ever seen, a hand comes from off screen grabbing the paopu fruit and we hear "Gee thanks Sora, I was starvin! A-hyuck!" Roll Credits.

Well ironically Facebook is the only social network I don't use, and apparently the only one people of this forum do use lol.

Anything by A Perfect Circle could probably qualify as my favorite song. I don't know why but their music just like... gets inside me. I have no idea what that means, but I know that I mean it.

Why do you wear that stupid bunny suit?

Is there? Sorry I did a quick search on the forum and couldn't find anything. I must have missed it my bad.

These are the rules 1. Must continue where the previous post left off 2. Maximum of 3 sentences per post 3. No run-on sentences 4. Be creative! Try to make up original characters and worlds. It's okay to be ridiculous too, make it funny. Three new keyblade warriors were lined up in front of their master to receive the quest that would begin their Mark of Mastery exam. This was the moment they had been training their whole lives for, the fateful day that would change them forever. Their names were...

Maybe you should just apologize. To me it sounds like your comments towards him were probably uncalled for in the first place. Don't worry about being called a pussy either, he's the one threatening a kid who is 2 years younger than him over the internet. All you have to say is "Hey look man, I was out of line earlier. I don't know why I said that about your mom I was just being impulsive because I was mad, I apologize. There's no reason to fight over this." That's a better option than snitching and probably a better option than fighting because it doesn't sound like you have much experience with that lol. And don't bring a knife to fight this kid, I know too many people that have gone to jail for involving weapons where they didn't need to be involved, some of them close friends. If the kid can't accept your apology then don't even waste your time with him.

I can't imagine having just one favorite song. It would be a little difficult to choose considering my iPod has close to 2,000 of them lol.

What did you write that sparked so much conflict? My advice would be to forget about it and see what happens. I know these days cyber-bullying has become this major issue and kids are told to report these types of threats their teachers but the kids that do that never remain anonymous as much as teachers would like you to believe. I can tell you one thing, being labeled as a snitch is a lot worse than dealing with the problem on your own. I know a kid who snitched on someone who made fun of them on facebook. Let's just say he ended up having to move to another city.It all depends too. How old are you? What did you say to the kid? Chances are he's bluffing, as are 90% of the people who make threats over the internet.I suggest deleting your Facebook honestly, I did. Nothing but immature drama, pictures of people you barely know, and kids posting preachy ass quotes they found on tumblr that they think are "deep" and somehow relevant to their lives.

Co-op mission mode.
JayReaper replied to JayReaper's topic in Kingdom Hearts III & Kingdom Hearts III Re Mind
Wow I wasn't expecting many people to like my idea. It's a shame that probably no one from Square Enix will ever see this thread haha. Although I'm sure Nomura and his team have come up with something much better. I still like throwing my ideas out there just to see what people think. Thanks guys! It's funny, Days is the only game in the series that I've never played. I was completely unaware that a co-op multiplayer mode even existed before making this thread haha. I didn't mean for it to be the only option for multiplayer. In fact it would be more like just another part of the story where multiplayer is an option. -
How would you guys feel if the multiplayer in KH3 was in the form of a co-op mission mode that runs parallel to the main story. In this mode we could play as the other keyblade wielders that aren't Sora on missions given to us by Yen-Sid. Each mission would have specific characters so that it doesn't interfere with the continuity of the main story (Meaning you can't play as TAV if they haven't been saved yet, or Lea if he is accompanying Sora at that time during the main plot). You could of course play these missions solo as well.I Think this would be a great way to make every character playable and give them a prominent role in the story, while still allowing the core plot to focus on Sora.Tell me what you guys think.
-
Yeah I know it wasn't really a prediction. I just thought it would make for an interesting set up for the next saga, unfortunately I know that it will never happen haha. Besides, I'm sure Nomura will come up with something way more epic than my idea.
-
You've got a point. You've also just given me an awesome idea. What if they made a prequel where you play as Xehanort and Eraqus during their Mark of Mastery exam. Their master has just discovered that an Ancient Darkness, as old as Kingdom Hearts itself, has awoken to destroy Kingdom Hearts and blanket the worlds in eternal darkness. Xehanort and Eraqus' mission is to stop this ancient evil before it gains enough power to complete it's goal. In the final battle they learn that the only way to stop the dark being is to trap it within one of their hearts. Xehanort, being very in tune with his own darkness as it is, makes the sacrifice to contain the creature within him. This, over time, is what causes Xehanort's own obsession with darkness to keep growing. Then, when you defeat him in KHIII, the creature is finally able to escape. BOOM Main antagonist for next saga. I should totally write for Square Enix...
-
I'm not sure if there is already a thread on this topic, I did a search and couldn't't find anything. Anyway, do you guys think that there are still untold stories in the timeline of the Xehanort saga that should be made into spinoff or handheld titles after the release of KHIII? I for one can't wait to see what the next saga has in store for us but I would still love to see what else Square Enix can milk out of the first saga, just nothing so important that we need to buy it in order for us to understand what's going on in future titles.. Maybe a game where you play as Mickey during his quest in KH1 to find the Kingdom Key D, or a game played from The perspective of one of the villains. Thoughts? EDIT: I also think a game where you play as a young Xehanort during his training as a keyblade wielder would be interesting. It could cover his training with a young Eraqus all the way up to their Mark of Mastery exam together.

what are the chances that
JayReaper replied to adngo714's topic in Kingdom Hearts III & Kingdom Hearts III Re Mind
A Goofy Movie has always been one of my favorite Disney movies but I just don't think Max has a place in KH. Not so much that Max wouldn't fit in, but after 7 games it would be a little strange if he showed up and Goofy was like "Oh yeah this is my son I haven't seen in over 2 years, I guess I forgot to mention that I'm a Dad. Yuhuck!"
