"The last ninja escaped successfully by means unknown to us," Kakashi finished the report Ren's team had given him. The three stood at attention while the Hokage evaluated their mission report. "Well from what I'm seeing here, you all failed your mission to intercept any intel carrier that could potentially destroy our village. But at least we do have some leads, two of them to be exact," Kakashi said. "I had the enemy cornered, I know I did. But he did some kind of unknown..." Ren stopped at the hand Kakashi gave him signaling for him to stop. "Kiba. Hanabi. You are both dismissed," Kakashi ordered. Kiba and Hanabi took their bow and left the room. Kakashi turned his chair towards the window to gaze upon the evening sun. "We have those targets detained. Inoichi Yamanaka investigated them thoroughly," Kakashi paused as he began sifting through the piled up files on his desk until he found two yellow folders. He gave them to Ren to read. "Warren Black and Kite Black. Brothers of a mysterious clan known as Black and genin from the Hidden Shadow Village," Kakashi said. Ren looked at the two files. "We don't have much intel on the discoveries of the Village of Shadows or of Heaven, however, the Village among the Heavens have called to us, and other villages, for help. We also don't know why the Village in the Shadows are gathering intel on our village," Kakashi said. Ren seemed a bit confused about the whole situation. Sure, he had heard about the whole discovery about the villages and their feud, but what did that have to do with him? "Lord Hokage.." Ren began to trail off. "I appreciate you for telling me this, but why sir?" Ren asked. "Ah, I was just getting to that," Kakashi responded. "I know it's a bit sudden, but I'm sending you on an A-Ranked mission with Sai. Considering your abilities, you should be okay. Tomorrow afternoon, you will meet the other representatives from the various villages and travel to the Village Hidden among the Heavens to help their cause," Kakashi said. "Yes sir!" Ren replied, a little nervous. He bowed and took his leave. He had never been in a war before.

Hello! Thank you for showing interest in my roleplay! Just a few things before I can accept your sheet. - So I understand that your character is a Jounin. Meaning that your character's power scaling will be different than mine and Stardust's. But at the same time, I can't allow a character to be seriously powerful from the start. What I will allow though, is your three tomoe sharingan. However, you can only start off with 1 chakra nature. You may have jounin level jutsu within that chakra nature, but don't make it OP. - Can you explain your "Tri-Style" jutsu? Everything else looks about right. "And here are our recent reports on the current situation regarding the Villages of Heaven and Shadows," Shikamaru slapped down the pile of enveloped papers on the 6th Hokage's table. Kakashi picked up and opened the envelopes to read the content inside. "We are just about cornered. The enemy has too many advantages, making us both outnumbered and outclassed. We are requesting help from as many villages as we can to aid us in this battle! -Heaven" Kakashi read aloud. "Well at least there's a huge reward here," Kakashi pointed to the millions of ryo that was included in the documents. Shikamaru sighed. "Yeah, money's nice. What are we gonna do Lord Hokage?" Shikamaru replied. Kakashi sat back in his chair and turned towards the window behind him. The morning sun's rays kissed the village, revealing such a beautiful creation that the first Hokage left behind. "I don't want any of my comrades dying. First, we need to check out this quarrel between these two villages, seeing that we know little about both the village in the shadow and heavens. I'll choose a two-man squad from this village. Also," Kakashi paused. "Send word to the other villages. We will be participating in this mission as well and have agreed to meet them at the Fire Temple tomorrow," He finished. "Got it. Also, who are the three we are sending from the Leaf?" Shikamaru responded. "Renmaru Senju and led by Sai..." Ren ---------------------- "Whelp. That about wraps up the mission don't you think?" Ren asked Kiba as the two looked down on the pair of ninja they had captured. He, Kiba, and Hanabi had been sent on a mission to detain three rogue ninja with sensitive intel on a classified topic. "Not yet. I'm sensing one more trying to escape!" Hanabi shouted using her Byakugan to track him down. "Roger. I'm on it," Ren replied, jumping off in the direction Hanabi was looking. Ren quickly caught up to the escaping ninja and weaved one hand seal for the regular clone jutsu. The clone darted off in another direction to corner the ninja. Ren weaved a couple of handsigns to prepare for his next jutsu. "Water Release: Raging Waves!" Ren shouted. Ren took a deep breath and exhaled to release a stream of high pressured waters towards the escaping ninja. The target, sensing the impending danger, changed his escape path from the trees to the ground - exactly what Ren wanted. Ren jumped down, weaving more handseals, then placed his hands on the ground. "Earth Release: Mud Wall!" Ren shouted. A wall of earth rose from the ground in front of the target ninja. "Stop where you are," Ren shouted. The ninja raised his hands and slowly turned around. "You cannot stop our grand mission!" The ninja retorted. "Grand mission?" Ren questioned. Ren's clone had caught up with the two, dropping himself down on the target ninja with his sword in hand. However, by then, the ninja had disappeared by means that Ren couldn't begin to explain.

Some say he was like a less-tragic Itachi in his youth. Bio: One of the many lost Senju decendants, Ren was born in a small village within the Konoha jurisdiction. He was noted to have an exceptional chakra reservoir upon his birth and control of it at the age of 6. Ren was also blessed with a Kekkai Touta, making him one of the few "prides" of the lost Senju clan. Ren entered the academy at the age of 7 and graduated a year later. Since then, Ren was assigned to a squad, who eventually were promoted. Ren, however, has been a genin by choice for all these years. Awesome! I really appreciate your interest! Tenseigan is too OP for a starting character, yes. However, as the story progresses with harder villans etc. the use of things like Tenseigan and Mangekyo Sharingan etc. will be allowed.

"Dunno," Lars replied. Even he had no idea of where they were going. Drips of water dropped from the ceiling of the path they traversed. "Water?" Lars was confused. Where was the water coming from? After a few minutes of walking, the group had come to a stopping point. They approached a door which led to some unknown area. "Looks like we hit the end of the path," Lars said. "Freeze," a voice behind the group shouted. It was Captain Reeves himself! "Don't move another step or I'll blast all five of you into kingdom come!" Captain Reeves outstretched his hand, ready to cast a spell. "Now, if all of you come quietly, I can drop SOME of your charges," Captain Reeves chuckled.

Lars and Eagle followed not far after Miji-Chan and Taria. "Wooden stairs..." Lars trailed off. The guard's voices had gotten louder from the entrance. "Where'd they go?" One of the guards asked another. "Ahh. Looks like our unidentified "hero" attracted more guards to this area with his shouting," Eagle sighed. "Let's keep looking," Lars said to the rest of the group as they continued walking. Though, it seemed like someone was bound to find Miji-Chan's hiding spot sooner or later.

(My bad guys, the past few weeks have been busy) Lars looked at the random individual who told him "Go here". "Go where?" He then looked around to see a crevice or pathway they could possible escape through. No luck. Well, at least they were not too far from whence they came. Lars looked up. "Guys, we can travel from the rooftops," Lars told the group. There followed, was a shot pause. "Well, that could work. However, the government's troops aren't stupid. They'd have the place locked down in minutes. Plus, the captain of the Anonymous 6 is here. I don't think we'll make it out without a few broken arms and legs," Eagle replied. "It's our only option," Lars said. The ground forces flooded into town and were soon to cover every inch within minutes.

"Something like that..." Lars trailed off. Eagle hopped down and rested his arms behind his head. The sounds of military boots shook the ground near the group. The government officials were closing in fast. "Anyway. We need to get out of here." Lars replied pointing to a near-by alley.

Lars clashed swords with an officer, kicking him down into the hole he created from the bar. "First an ambush, next a weird fox-girl clings to me, now I'm an enemy of the government. What a day," Lars said and sighed. "You've been through it," Eagle laughed as he finished off his opponent. "Yeah." Lars looked behind him seeing more government officials making their way towards the bar. "And it looks like I can't stay here either." Lars finished. He jumped down the roof, only to meet Taria and Miji-Chan at the bottom. "Looks like I've got into a bit of trouble.. heh, heh," Lars attempted to lighten the situation a little.

Lars opened the door to Boar's Cafe and Bar only to find what looked like a bunch of thugs and pirates gathered there. Lars ignored their blatant stares and sat on a stool at the bar area. In little to no time at all, a server came to take his order. "Hello, Eagle Ferrigate at your service," the boy said with a smile. He looked no older than Lars. Lars wasted no time in what he wanted. However, his haste became his downfall. "The godsword," He accidentally said out loud. The bustling and neutral atmosphere suddenly turned silent and aggressive as the thugs and pirates stood up and surrounded both Eagle and Lars. "I'm taking you two into custody," one of the "thugs" stepped forward. "Michael Reeves, Captain of the Anonymous 6. I am placing the both of you under arrest under the suspicion of treason against the government." "Treason??" Lars asked. Suddenly, he remembered what Jeoff told him about attempting to find the secrets behind the village. So that keyword must've been a huge secret, Lars thought. The thugs armed themselves with swords, knives, staves, and the like. Eagle put a glass he was cleaning down. "Ah... Mr.. I mean Captian Reeves. This seems to be one big misunderstanding.. haha," Lars began to explain. Just then, Eagle flipped over the bar, igniting his left leg on fire. "Holy Sword: Flamberge," Eagle said on landing. "A Chevalier!?" Captain Reeves questioned in surprise. "Firewall!" Eagle shouted and stomped the ground. The ground around both Lars and Eagle lit up and gave way to a wall of fire that surrounded the two like a ring. "We're already under arrest. They're not going to listen to you," Eagle said to Lars. "Seize them!" Captain Reeves shouted. The soldiers disguised as thugs charged at the firewall with magic-resistant weapons and shields. Lars unsheathed his two swords and jumped towards the ceiling, slicing it, and landing on the roof. "Come on Eagle!" Lars shouted. Eagle jumped onto the roof through the falling debris. "We need to get out of here," Lars said. Lars spotted Taria and Miji-Chan walking together in the distance eating. Wish I could eat right now, Lars thought.

"Mmm.. Information brokers you say?" Jeoff repeated Lars' request. While the two were talking to each other about the magic items in the store, Lars managed to sneak the topic in somewhere. "Yes. There's something I need to know," Lars continued. Jeoff contemplated it and stroked his beard for a short while. "Well, you know, conversations about the secrets of this village and stuff are illegal. But you seem like a nice guy Lars," Jeoff cleared his throat and got closer to Lars. "There's a bartender who works in a bar not too far away from here around this time. Go to Boar's Cafe and ask for Eagle Ferrigatte. When you see him tell him "The godsword." He knows what that means," Jeoff said. "The godsword...?" Lars looked a little bit confused but nodded anyway. "Thanks for your help!" Lars said and dashed out of the store. Boar's cafe and Bar was in view already. "Huh, so that old guy knows his stuff!" Lars shouted.

(Sorry guys. Summer Break started for me so I had to move things out of my dorm. I was busy but now I'm back to continue!) Lars paced himself around town. Though he knew this place might have all the answers he was looking for and aspired to travel here, he had no idea on how to get the information he needed. Lars sighed. "Should've thought this through," he said. He passed by dozens of food and weapon venues. "You'd think they'd have some magic stores around here," Lars said to himself. By chance, just as he said that, he passed by a magic weapons shop. Lars walked inside. "Woa! There's so much stuff here!" Lars said as he walked inside. From magic arrows to magic swords, it was the largest assortment of magic items Lars had ever seen in one place. "Hey! Come in here for some items?" The shopkeeper called to Lars. Lars walked up to him. "Call me Jeoff." The shopkeeper, Jeoff said.

Lars sighed. Who did he really run into on that path? Well, seeing that Taria didn't plan on getting up, he retracted his hand. "About a bookstore.." Lars trailed off. "I don't know of any. Actually, it's my first time here," Lars finished. He looked around. The village was huge, almost like a town. It was not only easy to get lost, but hard to find things you're looking for. "Miji-Chan might know of some things, so she can show you around town," Lars said as he attempted to take his leave.

"Huh. So she randomly tackles random people. And here I thought she was just crazy," Lars mumbled to himself. He stepped outside to see Miji-Chan mounted onto the young female mage. "Hey, need a hand?" Lars asked the girl. "You'll have to excuse her. She's a bit... childlike," Lars said assuming he knew everything about Miji-Chan.

"See.. I don't wanna stay," Lars began to say indicating that he had something to do. From the corner of his eyes, he saw a couple of people staring both him and Miji-Chan down. They wore black bandanas decorated with crossbones and were dressed as if they were thieves. He opened the door. He was warned not to start any trouble here, so he wouldn't. "Hello, I'm coming in. Anybody here?" Lars announced.
