March 2, 1301 A.D. The Dark Ones of Emirkol lay siege to Arlolin. Burning livestock and capturing people, only three Dark Ones march towards the Capital. Titus watched the destruction and chaos that rained down outside as he was dragged away. He would have never figured that the Dark Ones were so strong. To think that only 3 of them could cause this much destruction. Titus' eyes widened as a tear started to flow. This kingdom, his dreams. It was as if they were all swept away in just one swipe. Titus looked back at Rin, who was panicking to make it into the tunnel out of the city and for a second, it was as if all the world was silent. "I... want to go back... and fight," Titus stammered. The three dark ones, Seth, Ken, and Kyo all smiled as they rained terror upon Arlolin. Seth was one of the 7 strongest warriors in Emirkol. He was placed as #4. Kyo and Ken are students of Seth and were exceptionally strong as well. "Master Seth. I believe what we are looking for is not here," Ken shouted killing a local soldier as if it were child's play. "Sir. It seems like the king has gone into hiding. This area is now available for capture," Kyo said. Seth's black long jacket blew in the blistering winds of chaos as he put his hands in his pockets. "No. This area will not prosper under Emirkol until Arlolin's king is dead," Seth said quietly. Ken and Kyo both looked up. There was an academy just ahead. Kyo caught Rin trying to get Suzuki and Titus inside. "You see anything Kyo," Ken asked concerned. Kyo stopped for a minuted then sighed. "No. Just some rats trying to escape death's row," Kyo said. The three continued on to the palace wrecking havoc and destroying things as they went.

(Sorry.. Things have been hectic this week) Titus smiled and undid his spell. "You have pretty good swordsmanship. I can't wait to see what kind of spells you can do!" Titus exclaimed. Titus looked around the gym to see that there were sparring taking place everywhere. It almost looked like a war. War, Titus thought to himself. He couldn't get that out of his mind. The world was still in a huge war with the Dark Ones obviously winning. He heard that fighting a regular Dark One was the equivalent of fighting a mid-class honors mage. He was just a high-class basic mage. His drive was to train to be able to defeat Dark Ones easily. As Titus was swept away in his thoughts, his thought process was broken by a panicking student running to Mr. Nelson. "Sir... It's on fire... Everything's on fire!! Three.. Three Dark Ones set the whole kingdom on fire!! They don the flag of the Emirkol kingdom and they're coming this way!" The student shouted loud enough for everyone to hear. Mr. Nelson's eyes widened. The Chaotic Citadel of Emirkol was a kingdom that was taken over by the Dark Ones a while back. It was said that each of their soldiers were strong enough to fight Wizard Class. What was even worse was that there were 7 powerful Dark Ones at the level of Sage class. "It seems that only 3 came here. Everyone evacuate to the underground tunnels out of this city!" Mr. Nelson shouted to the class. (I will post the Ranks and Statuses on the Sign-up thread either tonight or tomorrow. Also, if you wish to control an NPC, just PM me about it.)

Titus barely managed to dodge Rin's lunge so he ended up rolling onto the floor in recoil of such a fast reflex. "You're not bad yourself!" Titus complimented as he regained composition of himself. "Shirak!" Titus shouted. Three shards of ice surrounded him. Titus launched one at Rin. However, knowing that she would parry or dodge, he charged in as well lunging his staff forward to strike her abdominal area. The two other shards followed him waiting to be launched.

(Alright after sparring class, I'm gonna try and speed things up a little) Titus got in his battle stance. One foot forward with his second back. Staff in front of him and his other hand free. He had taken close quarters combat classes so he was just as good as a regular fighter at the school. So the sword didn't scare him much. Titus took a deep breath. He was prepared. Let the battle begin. Titus launched forward to clash with Rin's sword. He made sure he had enough mana in order to launch a counterattack as a precaution. He was always cautious.

(No bigblk. He's right. I like writing minerals on their walls )

As soon as Ruby stepped foot in the castle, she suddenly was bounced back to Retria entrance. "Fool" Masamune said as he re-drew the magic circles.

Masamune didn't hear what Ruby was trying to say for he had already disappeared in the wind. Masamune appeared on the doors of the castle. He easily opened the doors and walked to the throne room drawing magical symbols everywhere on the walls as he went.

"You should watch your back," Masamune said. Suddenly, from the sky, a black thunderbolt descended from the sky and decimated the force that was with her to defend Retria. Many were injured. "Rank 1: Siva Do Chaose," Masamune whispered. "I think you should tend to your people instead of following your enemy. Don't you agree? Retria's Leader," Masamune mocked as he was whisked in the wind.

"Had I been selfish, you'd all be dead," Masamune said as he walked off to the castle. "As I said earlier. I have no interests in you all. So you can stop defending your pathetic excuse of an army," Masamune said. He then walked away from the army and to Retria's castle.

"Powers, Magic, Spells. All of the same thing," Masamune sighed. "As much as I'd like to play with you, Astral wants you alive for some strange reason. But since he left me in charge, I am able to drag you to the point of death, but not entirely killing you. So I'll say it once more. Get lost. Or one of two things will happen; I either burn this area to the ground or I torture you to death," Masamune threatened. The winds suddenly grew stronger almost like a typhoon by just Masamune's words. He even suppressed his aura to the point where anyone would mistaken him for a regular Retrian soldier. The clouds grew darker than it had been before.

Masamune looked at the Retria Leader. "You're out of your league. Get lost," Masamune says now walking off to Retria's castle. "Stand down little mage," Masamune mocked. Depending on his mood, Masamune might conquer Retria.... or burn it to the ground.

(Sorry.. something came up and my post had to come late) Titus stared at Rin for a second. He was surprised that she would come to him to spar. Usually, he'd spar newbies or train outside. "Awesome. Lets go sparring!" Titus exclaimed. He was really excited and enthusiastic to test his abilities on an opponent either at the same strength or stronger than he was. Titus picked a spot on the large gym floor and waved for Rin to come up to him so they could begin. Titus then looks at his wooden staff. It was a regular staff he got from a friend on his birthday... before a Dark One killed her... Titus shook his head of these thoughts. He awaited Rin to face him. Mr. Nelson looked at Rei. "As usual. Late as always," Mr. Nelson says marking Rei as late. "Choose a partner to spar. Or you can go train yourself," Mr. Nelson sighs and says to Rei.

(Okay I was trying to wait for Neko, but she'll have to catch up) Titus made his way to the gym where sparring classes were to be held. The gym was painted with magic circles and the air was thick with mana. Other than that, it was just like any large average gym. Titus got changed into his sparring equipment and took out his wooden staff. He had to be the best if he was going to go to Carmaerd's Honors Magic School. "I need to work harder today," Titus said as he took a spot on the gym floor. "Alright welcome to another day of Sparring Class. You all know the drill. Everyone choose a partner and wait your turn to spar. Either that or you may go outside to practice magic. BUT NOT SPAR," The sparring teacher, Mr. Nelson announced. There was little confusion going around about who wanted to be who's partner. Titus sat down. He thought about going outside to practice by himself. Instead, Titus decided to lay back and see if anyone would choose him.

(Sorry.. I cannot. My characters were meant to be strong and were made to challenge your thinking process. I will not give things to you easily. Training and power usage is key when fighting my characters. Like using the heat fire possesses to melt things to a boiling point for example. Things like that. Plus he's #2.. he can't be easy to kill. Do you watch the anime Saint Seiya Omega? The best warrior could fight Athena. What I'm saying is, you have to be smarter and wiser in order to defeat my characters. It isn't godmodding (like some people we know lol) but It's a learning experience for another RP that uses magic.. all the while having fun lol.. But on the topic of "Unbreakable Spells". It's been proven on many levels that there is no thing that cannot be destroyed unless it is energy, which in this case, Mana. Illusions is a spell created by Mana to delude ones mind. All creations have an end/destruction. Therefore, every spell can be countered with another. This is called a Paradox because every spell can be countered with another. More like Earth>Water>Fire>Wind>Water kind of thing. But one must know how to counter a spell.) (What I can do is retreat Masamune from Retria to give you some time to train/think about things if that's what you want :-) )

(It still doesn't make sense. From the beginning of the storyline, Retria and Callis has both been identified as in their respective locations. You can't alter that because the owner herself made it. It is two opposing sides. Plus Musashi has already infiltrated it in the beginning. Also. There is no spell that cannot be defeated. Especially for a over 200 year master wizard. I'm challenging you to find a better solution than trying to alter the story's origins.)

The illusions shattered like mirrors as Masamune yawned. "There's a reason I am a High Guard #2. Your petty tricks are no where near to touching my mind," Masamune said as he walked through the mass of soldiers. "Now if you're done, I am too busy to kill you," Masamune said as he walked past Ruby like she was not even worth fighting. "You cannot defeat a master wizard with over 200 years of training. Give it up young one," Masamune concluded.

Masamune looked at the Retria Leader's wolf form and shook his head. "Why is someone like you the leader of this place? No wonder it hasn't prospered," Masamune says taking more steps towards the massive army. He was not afraid so he walked.

Let hell begin. Retria's gates blew away with the push of Masamune's hand. With little to no effort, Masamune slowly walked in. "This place is still destroyed from Musashi's last raid? The Retria leader really doesn't care for her people," Masamune sighed now looking at the massive army in front of him. The Retria's leader was in the midst. "You're in the way. I'm not here to kill you all," Masamune paused. It didn't look like they were willing to talk. "Well then. Come at me," Masamune declared.

"Oh Shiro. You can't come at me like that. You know I'm always on my guard," Masamune said as he looked in the direction of the mansion. It looked somewhat ravaged. "Looks like HE was here," Masamune said. He then walked past the mansion. "I'm not interested in a weakling like Retria's leader. I'm here to conquer Retria as a whole," Masamune said as he moved forward putting up his hand waving back at Shiro. "Keep being a spy. Callis needs you to make peace with the world," Masamune said as Retria's gates were now in view.

"The mysteries of the Light and Dark element is a paradox for even the most skilled wizard professors in all of Ariena. This is because there are always new discoveries found within the Cosmos above our world. Some theories say that the battle that occurred in the heavens was nothing more than a big bang where scattered pieces of the blast were scattered about our world. No one really knows for sure what happened back then," Mr. Nixon lectured. Titus sighed. He was clearly talking nonsense. The pieces were to form a blade. Though no one has ever seen a piece yet. People traverse Bradun for the piece because they were led by an omen. Titus shook his head. He'll know for sure when he finds it himself. It wasn't long before the bell rang for the next class. "Alright for homework I want you all to review today's notes for a quiz tomorrow," Mr. Nixon announced in the chaos of bookbags moving around and people moving to get to class. "Alright next class is Sparring," Titus nodded. He took another glance at Rin. Then he packed his stuff.

(I think it's time to bring out the rest of Astral's High Guard ;P) Masamune sensed the mana of someone near and blew it away with a small gravitational force field. "Who are you?" Masamune asked in the direction of the mana he sensed. "I don't have time for this," Masamune muttered.
