AXE BODY SPRAY, MY MORTAL ENEMY, YOU HAVE SHOWN YOURSELF!
-
Aladdin also wears pants. And look, while Sora and Kairi are trying to cool off, Riku is just chillin'.
-
Now we know why he is called pikachu...

Come on now, that's ridiculous... obviously Goofy should get a keyshield, and Donald should get a Keystaff.

Magi In Kh3?

"Your key is the key that will unlock the heavens!" I would rather not have Square make deals with anime publishers or studios to bring shows to KH. -
Sora's Last name
Tigerruss replied to TheFrozenNobody's topic in Kingdom Hearts III & Kingdom Hearts III Re Mind
The nice thing about only having one name, is that it is your first AND last name. So until we get a full name for Sora, his last name is Sora. -
Comics One More Day - Possibly The Stupidest Spider-Man Story EVER!
Tigerruss replied to Villi1997's topic in General Discussion
I think there were probably "stupider" stories, but I don't think they had lasting effects.Kind of like how Kaweebo said, can't the just let Peter grow up already? I am not saying "GET MORE DARK AND EDGY!" I am saying, "STOP ACTING LIKE A TEEN AND GROW UP." I am not suggesting he should become super serious or stop doing wisecracks, just that he "mans up" a little bit. That being said... Also Peter and MJ should have asked Mephisto for one thing in trade for the one more day...Aunt May's opinion on what they should do. -
What to Expect in College and/or University?
Tigerruss replied to HikariYami's topic in General Discussion
Something to note with AP classes, some community colleges work with high schools to allow students to take some college courses only open to high school students. (though supposedly they are nearly identical to the same course number that a normal college student could take.) It is an alternative to AP courses, not sure how much it costs the student, and it gives them college experience. Though it might make the student have more strenuous hours. (I am not sure, I haven't looked into the program)If you haven't already, take your English and Speech courses ASAP, why? Lots of other courses ask of students to write papers, and give presentations. So it is good practice to take them. Are you starting at a 2 year college? If so, I would suggest starting out by deciding if you want an Associate's Degree or to just transfer in to the university of your choice. An associate's might negate the need for the general education requirement at the university. But....if you have some incompatible classes, you may have to take classes similar to what you already took, to take the classes you need to take at the University. I personally went to a community college in my state, and took basically only guaranteed to transfer correctly to any university in my state classes. So, I don't have to retake anything at the university I am starting at in the fall. BUT if you are going to a university out of state, the risk of classes not transferring properly increases. (when a class doesn't transfer properly, you still get the credit hours, it just doesn't count for any requirements.) Either way you are going to want to research your university(ies) of choice plans for your major. That will give you insight to what classes you will want to try to take while you are at a 2 year college. If you are going for an associate's, plan out your courses so you will for sure have your general education classes done by your final semester. This may also apply to transferring. (And keep in mind that some universities only accept up to x number of transfer credits, associate's degrees raise how much most universities accept, but you still need to keep that in mind) As for how people are? I can't really compare the students to high school, since I never went to school before college. But overall I found most people at the Community College I went to "okay". Aside from some noisy people that hung out in the student lounge areas. (of all the groups of annoyingly noisy people, they tended to clump up into 1-2 areas, pretty easy to avoid) Everyone else that I talked to seemed pretty 'nice', though not all were intelligent. There was no bullying that I saw going around, BUT the college had cameras everywhere AND basically had a "if you are in a fight we'll expel you " rule. As for the intelligence of students? I think the school I went to had a pretty good bell curve. So that means some students weren't smart or just didn't care at all. (PEOPLE FAILED A CAREER PLANNING CLASS I WAS IN! IT HAD AN OPEN BOOK MIDTERM, AND PROOFREADING RESUMES AS A FINAL!)Okay I just couldn't believe that... Anyways about the instructors? Most of the instructors I had, seemed to actually care about teaching their subject. (and when the instructors had time, they never turned down answering a question any student had.) But as others have said, they don't take kindly to late work. Also some will lock you out of the class, if you don't show up within the first 5 minutes. What else to expect from college? Expect their computers to not always function correctly. Expect most of your early classes to be easy to pass if you put effort into them. The three classes that took the most out of class time from me were Calc I, Calc II, and Calc III. Probably because most of the classes with tests of facts had study guides. Even if they didn't have study guides, if you are good at putting concepts together and remembering classes, you'll do well on the test. And as for essays and presentations? I find the research is the most time consuming part. After you get the research done, you just need to know how to throw together a good essay/presentation. For me that is relatively easy, especially if I can passively think about the essay and presentations. Oh yeah, one thing to note 1 credit classes can have lots of out of class work required to do well in them. (especially if they are a lab, or some sort of music class)Sorry if I didn't write conscicely enough, or had some odd grammar, I just don't care that much when posting on forums. And if you are curious of what I am going into, it is psychology and statistics, with a goal of research psychology. -

Funny, I have a best of the bounciest ad on top, and a large pizza ad on the bottom.

Hmm, after watching some of SAO II, it appears Kirito is either a Jedi or a Sith. And based on his choice of colors, I think he is a Sith! (edit: though his blade isn't red. D:)

Now that you mention it, Sora's face does look like a girl/woman's face. And unlike those who think those in the picture look hot, I think they look cute.

^This kind of. But at the time I was 5 or younger.

A few moments later Silver says "IT'S NO USE!"

I was wondering if someone was going to call me out on not putting the "." in .Hack. (my mind was jumbled and I didn't remember if it was a . or a /, and I didn't bother doing a google search) I actually liked SAO, I am just saying it didn't really give me the feel of a MMO world.*moving on* I just want to comment.1. I can see how one could have that opinion of Attack on Titan.3. I did not see that connection. Good job for seeing it.4.I mostly agree with this opinion. Though if it isn't from Japan, I feel it has to look like what you expect from anime. Otherwise it just is a cartoon or animation.5. I agree with what you said, even though I haven't read the manga, I have only seen some of the early Sailor moon episodes. That being said even something that feels aimed at a young audience like Shugo Chara (a different magical girl show) can be kind of dark. (though it is leagues bellow that of Sailor moon) In that show the antagonists literally stole dreams from people leaving them a deep depression where they don't have a will. While that might not sound as bad as killing someone, maiming them, or various other horrible things, it can potentially be worse. Living without a will to do anything and feeling like you can do nothing. That is almost like a living torture, without even needing anyone or anything to torture you.6. I actually like Asuna as a character as well, but sadly the story isn't letting her do much of anything anymore.-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------Just stating some thoughts about subs and dubs. There is no "the dub is always the best", or "the sub is always the best". It actually depends on the show to which was done better. Though sometimes the voices chose for the dub don't make sense or are just plain annoying. (sometimes that happens in the original cast too) Honestly one of the more annoying things about dubs is when the dubber is overzealous on censorship, but even some dubs that are heavy on censorship can still be good. For me it is easy to imagine the voice being heard say the words that are being read, so I don't mind subs. Also subs can help if you actually decide you want to learn Japanese. And while Japanese might not be the most useful language to know in everyday life, it doesn't hurt to learn a second language. (Note: I WOULD ONLY RECOMMEND ANIME AS A SUPPLEMENT TO LEARNING JAPANESE NOT AS THE ONLY THING USED)Though dubs are easier to watch with groups of people or while having conversations while watching. Unless if you are good enough at japanese to not even need the raws. But unless if you are with friends that can do the same, the dub is still superior.

I like most of the voices presented in that trailer, seems like it probably will be a good dub. That's great news. And Kill La Kill, did feel like some of the older animes (older as in within the last 20 years) at least in writing style. And in a way its coloring also felt like some older animes. And overall I think it was a good show.

Video what days sould had have done (spoilers )
Tigerruss replied to blackhammer's topic in Random & Forum Games
Actually, since the organization had no plans to capture Kairi (until Axel kidnapped her), Sora might have beating Siax in the 1000 heartless battle if Axel wasn't there. And after that, who knows, maybe things would have went smoother. -
So this whole time, THEY JUST HAD TO KILL KIRITO! IT ALL MAKES SENSE NOW!

*stops commenting about posts*Time to state all my potentially unpopular opinions about anime in one post.Attack on Titan is basically just a rehash of the Gurren Lagann idea with changes to make it more "dark and realistic". (that doesn't mean I don't like Attack on Titan, that's just what I think) click the spoiler for more details with spoilers. Yeah, while they aren't identical, and can be seen as quite different. I am constantly seeing parallels in between them. (even if there aren't really any) When a not ecchi anime starts to go towards it part of the way in, it really feels degrading to the show. (an odd beech episode, or spa/bathhouse episode doesn't count) I just want what I am watching to either be ecchi or not ecchi, none of this wishy-washy flipping about. I just want consistency.I can't think of shows or episodes of shows off the top of my head, but I do remember occasionally seeing things that could have been written off as fan service done well. Where they actually made sense in the logic and physics of the show, they didn't obstruct the plot, and they didn't change the feel. Other times they do the compete opposite... D; This following opinion might be popular....Dear Japan, please stop making 13 (or 12) episode animes that are basically promos for your manga, thank you. (That being said sometimes I enjoyed them anyways, and they worked well as a promo too) I would like less lollies, or if there is a "loli" have her be there for a good reason. Or at least have an equal ratio of little boys and little girls. D: The smart, caring, beautiful, big breasted, airhead (honestly that describes them better than "naive" most of the time) should go away. Especially if they also have the cooking of death that everyone eats anyways. Though in a few cases I actually like that type of character, but in most other cases... WHY OH WHY DO THEY EXIST!?!? The protagonist's harem, these are painful to watch most of the time. (as I just said MOST of the time) I know this is unpopular here. Guilty crown was an average anime at best that had plot holes that make the story should have last only 5 or 6 episodes. Also Shu is a slime human that represents basically all that is holding humanity back, and in the end the victory that made everyone happy potentially held everyone back. I honestly would have rather had Light win in Death Note than Near. Shonen anime has too much talking in a lot of their battle scenes. And sometimes in shows like one piece, 2 minutes of their reality equals like 5-10 minutes of ours. (there was actually a time keeping piece in a scene) Sword Art Online for the most part doesn't feel like an anime about an mmo. It feels like an action "I WILL WIN BECAUSE I AM JUST THAT GOOD AND I HAVE THE WILL TO WIN!" show in a "mmo" setting. I haven't seen hack or accelworld, so I can't comment on those. But in my opinion Log Horizon had a better idea of what an anime about being stuck in a mmo should be like. (it even had some scenes of characters trying to figure out how to use their classes and skills to synergize) THOUGH while logical in the shows logic, I kind of didn't like the arc about restoring order to all the people that have been trapped in the MMO.Also that Log Horizon is one of those shows where people do clever things only to have it explained later. I feel that Maoyu is overlooked. Though I can't say it is underrated, because most people who I know that saw the whole thing enjoyed it. (though it ends at an odd spot and has no plans for a second season) Note: People commonly compare it to Spice and Wolf. So if you know what type of anime that is, this is probably a similar one.The first Fullmetal Alchemist was better than Brotherhood, at least until it had to make up its own ending because the Manga was still far from finished. I probably wouldn't have enjoyed Brotherhood if I didn't watch Fullmetal Alchemist first. But since I watched Fullmetal Alchemist first, not only did I enjoy Brotherhood, I possibly enjoyed the overall series more than the first series. Showing some events and then jumping back in time to show us how the series got there can be annoying. Especially if the series failed to make us care about the event, or when they have 6+ episodes before they get back to where they left off. AND THE SHOW IS ONLY 13 EPISODES LONG! >.>That being said, when done correctly it can foster intrigue and promote longer wading through more "boring" stuff to get to what you want to see.Edit: I didn't finish, but oh well, I guess the rest of my opinions will have to wait.

Anime | Manga Whats The Longest Anime You've Watched?
Tigerruss replied to Sorual's topic in General Discussion
The first 200 (or so) episodes of One piece. Though the longest anime I finished was Hayate the Combat Buttler. (if you include all runs of the show) -
Part of the problem is that even if they were vibrating, the games are capped at 60FPS. (edit and also sometimes they are capped at only 30 FPS)Edit: okay I made this post before finishing the video, and it appears that they were still able to extract some data from 60 FPS, but no where near as good as their high speed camera.

Welcome back. It is hard to tell the chronological time with how you stated things in your post. Hopefully your Crohns didn't get so bad you needed to be hospitalized DURING the wedding. Anyways, were you at least able to get some rest? Or was it a restless few weeks?
