1) I'm pretty certain that Xehanort is trying to create another fake, as far as I know no one knows what's up with the original 13 darknesses (My bet is that they will be the villains of he inevitable continuation of KH) 2) Good point, no idea how this works but it worked for Vanitas so it'll probably just end with the x-blade in his hands. 3) Ok this one I can answer with some level of certainty, thanks to the Xehanort reports. See Xehanorts goal isn't actually the keyblade war itself it's what lies beyond it, Kingdom Hearts. What then? Well according to the Xehanort reports: "And when Kingdom Hearts is complete, it is said the one who opens its door will bring about the creation of the Next World. Such a feat is above any human. Or, to put it a different way: whoever opens that door will be reborn as something far greater than human." "If I become the first to open Kingdom Hearts' door, I can create the Next World in which light and darkness exist in perfect equilibrium."

Am I the only one who hasn't spent a penny and still had fun with this game?

KHUX Xehanort and Eraqus's master was a Dandelion
Mysterious Figure replied to Kittenz's topic in Kingdom Hearts - General
I think it's Luxu, would explain how Xehanort ends up with his keyblade -
I don't think the timeline really has much impact on X considering we just end up visiting the future anyway, heck since the keyblade war hasn't started yet the X-blade hasn't shattered into the 7 princesses at this point so they technically don't exist at all during X's time. So really we could see Kairi at any point of the timeline, they might even decide to do some foreshadowing and show KH3 Kairi.

Probably going to be more Dandelions

This seems like a fair opinion, after all this HD ReMix is less content than the other 2 (even if most content is brand new) so I can see why they would say that; what's the problem here?

Yeah I wasn't really happy about the secret episode either, everything else was fine but I liked the idea of KHX being a separate stand-alone storyline from the actual plot only adding more lore to the series and the Keyblade War. Now I'm going back to figuring out what the heck is going on with the main plot line and how it all connects to KH3. Should've just ended it with the reunion with Ephemer; would've been the perfect ending for me even if there were some questions left unanswered (mostly because I assume Back Cover will answer them)

Chirithy would be a good character to have for exposition on the Keyblade war It would be pretty neat to have Nightmare Chirithy as a boss too.

KHUX Did you like the ending of Chi?
Mysterious Figure replied to The 13th Kenpachi's topic in Kingdom Hearts - General
It was pretty epic, as someone in the Ursus union in unchained, I'm super interested to see how this plays out for me. Still don't know who the traitor is but I'm pretty certain it isn't Aced, this has all the signs of misdirection. -
Death Is Meaningless In Kingdom Hearts
Mysterious Figure replied to Elfdemon_'s topic in Kingdom Hearts - General
Personally, I'm hoping this can be overcome by giving their revival a bigger purpose, I'd be kinda dissappointed if they brought a character back then they didn't do anything. Someone mentioned that all Xion did was add a new layer to Roxas, this is pretty much true, but bringing her back gives her the chance to have a bigger purpose and a bigger impact on the overall plot. Same with everyone else. Like Roxas didn't really impact the story much outside of Axel's character arc in KH2. Naminé messed with Sora's memory but undid by the time KH2 started - again not much impact on the overall plot. (I say this one with caution since I could be forgetting some thing here; it's been a while since I played) By bringing them back, Naminé is suddenly seems like a key player in bringing everyone else back (going by that Lingering Will scene) with knowledge no one else seems to have. I dunno what Roxas is gonna do but I hope it's awesome and meaningful. Hopefully the same with Xion. Basically I don't think of it as their purpose being ruined but more like, now they have a second chance to have an even bigger purpose- 82 replies

Death Is Meaningless In Kingdom Hearts
Mysterious Figure replied to Elfdemon_'s topic in Kingdom Hearts - General
To be honest it doesn't really bother me too much. What I will say however is if you're gonna bring all these chracters back for fanservice you might as well dial it up to 100. As long as I can see the epic grand battle between all these characters at the climax of KH3 I don't care how they bring characters back, just make it awesome. Besides I think some of these characters kinda deserve a happy ending.- 82 replies
