I know and I have nothing against that but for some of these threads people have not commented a year maybe more and also some of my threads are the only ones for a certain topic
It's more annoying to post a thread and have people ignore it. It's also a bit depressing, especially if you checked beforehand to make sure there wasn't a thread like it.
Far as I know if a thread is old enough that no one sees it anymore, a new thread is allowed to be posting (instead of necromancing the old one). I asked DC about it when I first became a sec mod cause peopel were asking questions answered in old topics.
