i havent watched naruto in forever so could someone please tell me why itachi slaughtered his entire clan? i get that konoha told him to do it, because they thought he uchiha clan did some shit but WHYYY? and also why the hell did itachi even agree?
It involves the curse of hatred. Don't want to try to explain it while I'm tired. Long story short, they wouldn't have been able to.
Also, while it technically wasn't canon (Despite seeming canon), there was a filler episode when Danzo convinces Itachi to kill them, so it's that jerk's fault.
