A new idea!
mosokisa replied to Crimson Knight's topic in Kingdom Hearts III & Kingdom Hearts III Re Mind
Wow, I would like that! Though like Isamu_Kuno, I've been thinking if we could play the prologue as Kairi, her learning to fight. But we don't know yet and that's be cool as well! -
I think he didn't mean that people would choose their sexuality but that genes aren't the only thing that influences the sexual orientation, that upbringing and the environment you live in influence you as well (and you can't choose them). Well, sexuality is surprisingly different to different people, or that's what I've figured because it does seem there's a lot of people whose sexuality is so different from mine judging from what they're saying. So even if it's super clear to you that you're straight, the sexual orientation isn't that clear to everyone else. And it's not like gender was the only thing that defines who you're attracted to and that can make it harder to understand are you gay or straight or what. Though I don't actually know why everyone should be categorisized to either. Well, it's probably our culture, somehow in it it seems important to categorisize people, and even ourselves, like that. That's what I believe too. Personally I think that some people probably have such strong genes that upbringing or environment does not play much of a a role in defining one's sexuality but then there's people whose genes aren't like that and upbringing and other stuff can have even strong effect. And I anyway think that strong experiences can effect anyone, no matter what the genes are like. But I of course don't know anything, somehow I just always tend to believe that upbringing and your environment have effect as well, no matter the topic.. : P To me it would make sense. Like, I do believe that culture has a role in defining what kind of people we think are attractive, so why couldn't it have an effect over the sex of those people as well? Though personally I don't understand why we should even know is homosexuality caused by genes or upbringing and is it a choice or not. Seems like people feel so passionate about the topic but I don't see what difference it would make - there're people with different kind of sexual orientations anyway and did people choose to be the way they are or not just doesn't seem very important from my point of view. Or is it always about God and has he made homosexual people or not (like, can it be a sin or not)?

TV Storybrook Freezes ( Seasons 3 & 4 spoilers )
mosokisa replied to Philip Ellwell's topic in General Discussion
I'm exited! ^.^ Though I'm not sure how well Elsa's going to fit in the story, mostly because the Frozen story is still so similiar to the story of OUAT (the family and love theme and they're both more modern than some old fairy tales etc), so I'm wondering if it is TOO similiar. I mean, how are they gonna twist it like the other stories in the series, so that is feels new and stuff. Well, I don't know but I hope they'll do it well. I'll be glad to see Anna and Elsa in OUAT. My guess: just for the reason that they could make that cliffhanger.. : D And some of the characters DO look something like the Disney ones, like Belle and Ariel. But yeah, mostly they don't and Elsa looked exactly the same. I don't know either is Zelena alive or not but I hope we'll get some information about her anyway because after the end of the 20th ep I need some D : What exactly happened to her? -
I vote for Xeveemon.. But I would have voted for FurySpark if he'd been there. He so should have!

I saw the movie yesterday and I LOVED it! I, also, had expeted Olaf to be more annoying than he actually was, though I still think the movie wouldn't had been worse without him (though I like the story of how he was made and so). But the annoying scene from the first trailer wasn't in the movie!! Great! The songs were so awesome! And it looked soo goood in 3D! I'm planning to go see it again ^^ This time in English, I watched it in Finnish (my language) yesterday and I bet the English voice acting is way better (not that the Finnish one had been BAD but just not THAT good), at least it seems like that based on the trailers. And well, it usually is. Ohhh, I wanna hear the songs!! Someone said that the original idea of a princess saving a prince would have been better and I really would have liked that idea as well and I hope they'll end up doing something like that someday too (not with the same idea of course). But really, I loved this way more. It's good it's not always all about romance and I think this was something new as well.

Keyblade transformations
mosokisa replied to Kittenz's topic in Kingdom Hearts III & Kingdom Hearts III Re Mind
I've just been wondering that where and when was it told that keyblades can transform into something else..? I feel that I've missed something big and I'm not sure how that's possible.. Or have I just fogot..? I'm confused. When did Terra's keyblade turn into a cannon? -
kingdom hearts paradox sora
mosokisa replied to liamaru's topic in Kingdom Hearts III & Kingdom Hearts III Re Mind
I also would rather like to see Sora grow up, actually to me it would be kinda disappointing if he just was a kid forever. It's okay if we won't see the adult Sora in the games (like, if Sora wasn't the main character in the future games anymore or would only be that while he was still young or the games wouldn't cover so log time period tha he'd have time to grow much older or something). But I don't want Sora to stop growing or anything D : -
I like Passion more because of the lyrics (I don't understand japanese but I've read a translation). I think Passion's lyric fit KH better and I also generally like them more. Though I like the bakwards lyrics in Sanctuary.

Anyone else care for Namine?
mosokisa replied to Tyren Namikaze's topic in Kingdom Hearts III & Kingdom Hearts III Re Mind
Amelia Luscombe (quoting still not working - . - ): I understand that feeling not wanting Namine to be like Kairi, I don't want her to be like her either. Though to me her turning into Kairi in com was mostly more like showing that she has taken Kairi's place in Sora's memeories rather than showing that they are the same. And still I don't think Namine is anywhere near taking Kairi's place, especially now that Sora remembers Kairi. Their bond is so strong. So actually I consider all that caring Sora did for Namine rather as a proof of how much he cares for Kairi than other way around. (Though Sora and Namine's relationship was also different from he's and Kairi's and I like that.) But about Kairi being insecure, sure she has moments when she feels a bit insecure too. Like maybe when the organization held her as a prison, but even then she still seemed pretty determined and brave to me. And atleast I think she's less insecure than Namine and in general. But, I haven't read the manga so sure she may be more insecure there. -
Which Kingdom Hearts title did you dislike the most
mosokisa replied to NexusOmega's topic in Kingdom Hearts - General
I kinda would like to say re:Coded because it as interested me the least of the games and that's why I haven't played it yet, but exactly beause I haven't played it, I think I can't really say it.. So maybe i'd say 3D. Even though I really liked it. But there were a lot of things in the story which annoyed me the first time I played it (even though I'm fine with them now) and I still don't completely enjoy the gameplay. It's so fast that you don't even get to realize what you're actually doing and I often get frustrated when playing it. -
Anyone else care for Namine?
mosokisa replied to Tyren Namikaze's topic in Kingdom Hearts III & Kingdom Hearts III Re Mind
Namine is one of my favorities too and like many have said here she DOES have something important to do with the story too (Sora's memories, helping people etc). Sure, she isn't as necessary for the plot as Sora or Riku or Aqua or some others but I don't think that's a bad thing at all. Not everyone can be one of the main characters, we need some others too! And ofcourse, there wouldn't really be COM without her. Also, I think Namine brings some depth into the story. Like, there's Sora, Riku and Kairi, Axel, Roxas and Xion, Ven, Terra and Aqua, and some other really thick friendships in the games but Namine doesn't have one sigle friend and I think that's really sad. I tried to quote Amelia Luscombe's post but for some reason I wasn't able to... Anyway, I just wanted to say that I don't think Kairi and Namine are the same person. Firstly, Namine wasn't just Kairi's nobody but also Sora's, and secondly, she has a a whole different life from Kairi's and I think she's really different as a person. In fact, I think they're even almost opposites of each others in some things and actually I find that quite interesting. Like, I think Kairi is really brave and strong and she's ready to act in order to get what she wants and I haven't often seen her insecure or afraid. Namine on the other hand is insecure and weak. It takes everything she has to act against the organization in COM and I don't think she wuold have done anything in the end if Axel hadn't especially stated that she has an oppoturnity to escape. Also, Kairi's and Namine's situations are completely different: Kairi has Sora and Riku, she had her grandmother when she was little and it seems like the Destiny Islands were a nice place to grow up. And then Namine his first with the organization, then with Diz and the only one who really ever cared for her and that was all just because of the fake memories, and then he forgot too. -
I get what you're saying... I've thought of that but I don't think I'm going to stop because it might as well as be a good new KH series too. And I'd like to see what the new games are going to be like anyway. But I've read book series which were supposed to end earlier but were decided to continue and the new books were just... not half as good as the originals. So I'm still afraid that could happen to KH as well and that it'd ruin the series somehow, even though maybe I shouldn't think of it as ruining the whole series if the new games were bad : P And ofcourse KH is a bit different because it's a game + they didn't plan the whole series before making any of them so continuing it like this maybe won't make so big difference. But really, I always appreciate it when people quit their series when they're still good.

Which ending from the KH games released so far did you like the most?
mosokisa replied to Lu Xun's topic in Poll of the Week
I like Days' ending so much. It's not just my favorite KH ending but also a very good ending in general. I love it how the final scene ("Maybe today we'll finally hit the beach") would seem happy if you hadn't played the game, how Roxas is happy and everything, but because you've played the game, all that "happiness" just makes it more painful and sad. -

mosokisa replied to Philip Ellwell's topic in Random & Forum Games
Aww, awww, AWW, that's just super cute!! -
Could it be that KH1 felt so eerie and all to you because you played it so young? I played it at 18 and I actually didn't get that strong feeling from it myself. It has a bit different feeling to it for me too and it's more mysterious than the others, but I don't see it as eerie or dark almost at all. And even though KH isn't a dark series in general either, to me some other games are darker than the first one (BBS at least). But at least to me it has happened that I've felt a game very strongly when I've played it as a little kid and still feel a bit the same when playing the game or thinking of it even though it's something that I'd definitely not feel so stongly about if I played it now the first time. Though like I said, I think it does have more mysterious feeling in it then the other games and I did like that atmosphere. But I don't really see it coming back, because I think part of the mystery is that we don't know so much and there's not so many characters around and the plot hasn't developed so much.

What Are Your Christmas Traditions? :)
mosokisa replied to The Transcendent Key's topic in General Discussion
My Christmas traditions are pretty simple really. I live in Finland so we celebrate it on Chritmas Eve. Often I go to sauna about at noon or something and later I eat Christmas dinner with my family and after that we open the presents. When I was little I always watched some kids' shows on TV in the morning. Many of them were actually quite boring but it was a tradition so I watched them every time : D -
No idea really : O I played my first games when I was like 3 years old and there's many games I had played at that time too, so I seriously don't know which was my first... I quess it might have been a Hugo game (I quess not many people here know Hugo, so: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hugo_(video_game ) or at least it was the first one I really really liked and got exited about... Oh, I've got so many good memories, I'd just want to play a Hugo game right now! Even though they really are for little kids and they're quite boring to play as older but still!

Disney characters done better in KH?
mosokisa replied to Captain Arrowguns's topic in Kingdom Hearts - General
I actually prefer the characters in the movies and not other way around. It's not like I didn't like them in KH, they're okay, but they're way better in the original movies. In the movies we get to see the whole, original stories and the characters become more deeper, to me at least. But I do agree that the characters are a bit different in the movies and KH. -
I never realized, but yeah that's really weird D :

How long have you been playing KH?
mosokisa replied to Yami Tsuki's topic in Kingdom Hearts - General
A bit more than two years now, we celebrated the first day we played it with my sister last summer ^^ I'm so thankful to my friend who borrowed me the first game! -
Language acquisition through KH and forums
mosokisa replied to Wittgenstein's topic in General Discussion
I've learned a couple of japanese words by watching the japanese KH cutscenes, mostly from the new Days cutscenes. There's not very many of them but maybe if I had studied japanese longer, watching the cutscenes would have been more useful in learning the language. But in case you're not only interested in how people have learned japanese, I can say that I've learned a lot of English by playing the games and especially by reading posts here and writing myself. And by doing other KH related stuff on the internet. And I'm not a native English speaker so that's kind of the same thing isn't it?
