  1. Agreed! Thank you all! I am still slowly working on what is next. Hopefully I can make something out of those ideas as we continue to move forwards in the history of Overworld.
  2. Oh~ Another project? Sounds like more fun could be on the way! Good-bye Overworld! You gave us almost three years of fun! And for that I am grateful to all who took part in it.
  3. - The Haven: Dormitories - Far deep into the hallway where everyone's rooms were, a door always remained closed, as if it wa empty, no one really questioned it, no one really cared to ask about it. Why should they, when they had their own rooms. Inside was a bedroom devoid of light, pitch black and ominous would be a way to describe it, if only because it was impossible to actually see what was hiding in the darkness. Only faint breathing and slight rustling could be heard around the room, until the tune of a message that was on the floor was heard. From under the sheets of the bed on the far end of the room came a small figure, slowly making it's way towards the envelope. Even walking in total darkness was not a problem, it's eyes worked better in such conditions, so finding the envelope and reading it was an easy task. After reading the short message, the figure walked to the closet and began to dress themselves. The room's internal lights brigthened slightly, revealing the figure of a young girl wearing different pieces of armor around her body and what it seemed like a dark cloak, but said cloak also looked like it was made of mist, it was a strange sight. The girl looked down at her ashen hands and stared at them for a couple of minutes, wondering what the ruckus outside was. She had been working at night time, or what she was told was night time, while everyone in the Haven was asleep. It was better that way, no interruptions, no noise, just calm and quiet. But not today, it seemed. She had finished her previous mission before the three week limit was almost done and so she was going to remain in her room until that time was almost over before going out again, but maybe Fate had other plans for Iseult Mylis today. "May the light of the Spark and the Mistress guide my way." - Iseult Mylis - The Haven: Cafeteria - The last door in the hallway opened and the young woman came out, her steps were silent, nonexistent. She quickly made her way towards the cafeteria, moving like a silent shadow through the different hallways to avoid the different voices coming and going to different places. She reached the cafeteria, but did not saw Uzumeashy, and didn't really payed any attention to whoever had stayed there. Instead, she kept walking towards the kitchen to find the person who wrote the message. It didn't took long before she found who she was looking for after turning around the corner. "Good even-sorry, good morning, Uzumeashy, I couldn't help to notice your message under my door and I-" Iseult stopped as she noticed the blood on Uzumeashy's hand before taking the hood of her cloak off, "By the Pale Mistress. Is everything alright, Uzumeashy? Did you got hurt while I was gone? Or is this part of the reason for the urgency of the Dragon's Quest?"
  4. That you did, sir. That you did, indeed! Glad to be here, finally.
  5. Thanks! I hope I can contribute with the fun in this game. And she IS Rabs, albeit much, much younger, She is Rabs before losing her memories, that is yet to happen in around 30 years in the future. I'm thinking that she was already there, but most of the time she was gone doing missions while the party was in the Haven, if only because she works better at night. Maybe they will find her in the shop after she finished her business there.
  6. Nah, don't worry about it! I am sure we will have lots of fun together, all of us. At least I hope so! I just need to think of a way to introduce her and I will be ready to go.
  7. Alright, ladies and gents, I have been convinced by your GM to join this roleplay game, even though I planned to join since the beginning, before RL happened. I know I'm behind on what is going on in the story, but I'll try my best to keep up. Without further ado, here is my sheet. Name: Iseult Mylis Age: 22 Race: Dra'tul (Dark Elf) Appearance: Personality: Calm and collected, outspoken, observant. Biography: A Dra'tul from Cecidit the Kingdom of Eternal Night located near the center of the Northern Continent of Caligo in the World of Istrora. Daughter of Yantar and Faera Mylis of Den Mylis, and priestess of the Pale Mistress, the Goddess of Death. Born as part of Den Mylis Iseult was raised in the ways of stealth and spellcasting, both using The Spark as a source for her arcane abilities, the Spark allowed to possess the ability to manipulate time and space on the surroundings. She was meant to be raised to be part of the Ashen Guard, the bodyguards of the Royal Family, but instead choose the path of a priestess in the Nameless Peak, the temple to the Pale Mistress. With the passing of years her resemblance to the princess of Cecidit, Usamea Yinris of Den Yindis, allowed her to act as her body double at different points in time, mostly when going out in diplomatic journeys around the land of Caligo. These travels often put her in harm's way for her uncanny resemblace to the princess, which she accepted as a great honor to her and her den. At some point in time, other kingdoms, fearing Cicidit's power over death and rebirth, found themselves attacking the ancient kingdom, starting a war that lasted for days. The Kingdom, unable to protect itself from the attack in multiple fronts, decided to use the power of the Spark to seal the city and all land around in a time loop, forcing everyone to relieve the same days over and over and over again. Before this happened Iseult was ordered to leave, disguised as the princess, she was quickly followed by soldiers of the different armies for many days until she and her bodyguards reached the Frozen Wastelands of the North, a wild land covered in snow and cold air, there she got separated from her group and lost conciousness for quite awhile, only to wake up in a cave along with one of the soldiers of the enemy's armies. She decided to act as if she was just a young elf who was escaping from the horrors of the war so this strange Elf of Light could bring her to the closest city or town, she ended up in the Imperial City of Exire in an audience with the King and Queen themselves. One of the members of the Court harbored hate towards the Dra'tul and instead of giving her a chance to explain herself, he attacked, and was destroyed by the power of the Spark she commanded. The soldier who had found her asked the King and Queen to be her guardian since her previous ones had died in the Frozen Wastelands, and so she was allowed to live under the care of the Lady Ethiriel Ar-feiniel, Judge Magister and Leader of the Knight of the Round of the Northern Continent. Attributes: Teleportation and Self-cloning Abilities: Water/Ice, Lightning, Healing and Shield Weapon: Daggers, Bow and arrows Signature Move: Blessing of the Fate Weaver: Once per fight Iseult is allowed to pray to the Pale Mistress to grant the necessary amount (1 hp) back to her allies (herself and up to two more people) once they fall in combat, allowing them to be brought back to life once without the need of Elixirs or a Phoenix Feather.
  8. I'm just waiting for everyone else, then I can post the last epilogue to finally close Overworld. Just give me a sign when you guys are done.
  9. - Aura, Rabiyu and Sifrei - Kilkis Seres - "Endless, you say? I suppose you are right. I will live my life to the fullest, to honor my brother and Henry, who gave their lives to make all this possible." This was the first time Aura had been part of such an important ceremony, and more importantly, the object of some attention from others, as fey and humans sometimes turned to look at her. So much had happened in the past few months, some good things, some bad ones too, but change was a part of life and nothing could stop that. Jynn had been named king now, what that meant for the land? she did not know, as she was not part of it, nor she wished to remain in the city. Instead, Rabiyu and Sifrei had offered to take her to the northern lands as their honored guest, or as Rabiyu had said, as part of her family. She was a strange one, Aura always thought. Always quiet and never really showing much of what she was thinking, but deep down she was just as any other person. Aura had grown attached to the elf ever since their first meeting, and she could see her as an older sister of sorts. So, when they offered the chance to leave, she took it immediately. She just hoped that Helios could be at her side, but she wasn't going to force him to leave everything he had just so she could be at his side. "I know it has been crazy ever since we came here, but I am glad that I got to met you, Helios, but there is something important that I need to tell you," She said as she watched Jynn, "I will be leaving once things settle down. Rabiyu and Sifrei offered me to take me to the northern lands, and I accepted. I just...I love you so much, and I would love for us to be together always, or at least until my life is...but I cannot force you to leave the life you have here just so I can have you by my side. I cannot stop you from following your dreams just to be with me, and I won't. I won't be that selfish." Aura rested her head on Helios' shoulder and closed her eyes, just enjoying being close to the person she loved. "But I intend to enjoy having you by my side, even if it is only for the rest of this day." Meanwhile, Rabiyu and Sifrei had been watching the ceremony in silence, watched the people's reactions for their new king. Rabiyu's respect for the new king had improved ever since he admitted his mistakes, that was a sign that he was growing and that he understood the importance of admitting one's own mistakes. Sifrei, while paying attention to the coronation, was also trying to see if Mariel was around, but he never managed to find any clue of her presence among the crowd. "What do you think of the new king?" Rabiyu asked. "Uh? He has a good head over his shoulders, and I am sure he has some good people around him that will help in this new task." Sifrei answered, "What about you? Did you managed to..." "No. I was not allowed to see him, not after what he did. I just hope Yevgeni is doing fine," Rabiyu said quietly, "he did some terrible things, but everyone makes mistakes, each and every one of us, and they will follow us throughout our whole lives. In any case, our usual way of travel will not work thanks to this strange disturbance, so we will have to take the long way round. It will take us a day or two of travel to reach Heimdall, if we manage to get some winged mounts." "I met someone back in Mystras, someone from the north. I am sure she could help us with that. But the day is still young, and I am sure Aura would appreciate more time with the young shapeshifter." Sifrei said as he looked at Aura and Helios," so let's wait until later to leave. Besides, I still hope I can see Mariel, just to see how she is doing. The Sanguis Vindicta can be harsh for an angel to fully control, but she is a capable woman, I am sure everything will be just fine." Rabiyu looked at Aura, the poor girl had lost so much in the past months, and she had promised to take care of her. A promise she was going to try her best to keep, no matter what. But Sifrei was right, she deserved to spend more time with her partner. She was sure that Aurora would be sad if Helios didn't come with her, but he had a life here, and she was sure that Aurora knew that. Rabiyu was sure that everything would work out in the end. Or she hoped, at least.
  10. That was one interesting way to end Mariel's story on Overworld. Really caught me by surprise! Great job rikunobodyxii!
  11. - Aura, Rabiyu and Sifrei - Isopolis - Aura was waiting for Alastor's response, whatever he needed the lamp for should have been very important for him to consider using a wish, but they had to leave, and Rabiyu knew that. "Maybe this could wait until later, Alastor?" Rabiyu said calmly while looking at the man, "If it is important enough for you to try and use a wish to, well, wish for something, then it must be important and, perhaps, better told in private." The young human woman looked between Rabiyu and Alastor for a moment, so did Sifrei. Both agreed to the elf's words. This had been a rather exhausting quest, one that they had managed to pull, even if it requiered a few sacrifices. "Let us leave this place. Perhaps we could talk about this once we arrive at, well," Sifrei hesitated for a moment while looking around, "whichever place we go. Kilkis Seres or Mystras." Without waiting for a response Aura looked at the white haired elf once more before running to Helios' side. Rabiyu gave Alastor a nod while Sifrei offered a small bow before following the rest of the group outside. -------------------- - Kilkis Seres - Three weeks later - Today was a beautiful day, it was a momentous day, for it was the day of the prince of Kilkis Seres' ascension, to finally be crowned king. Aura had arrived from Mystras with Rabiyu and Sifrei earlier in the day, She was wearing a black dress with golden trims and complicated beautiful patterns in gold threads, Rabiyu had asked to have it delivered from somewhere back in the north, or so she said. It was beautiful, and far more expensive than she could imagine, if the looks of jealousy coming from some of the fey women was to be believed. "Was it necessary for me to wear this dress, Eli? I mean, I AM grateful that you got it for me, but," Aura hesitated for a moment, "isn't it expensive?" Rabiyu, who was now wearing a gold and silver armor, was walking next to Aura, and by what she could tell, maybe some of the locals thought that young Aurora was part of human aristocracy, as she was currently being followed by two important looking people wearing armor. "This is a momentous occasion, Aurora. It is to commemorate the ascension of the prince, his ascension to be the rightful ruler of Kilkis Seres," Rabiyu answered, "I think you look good on it. And besides, money is of no consequence, it possesses no meaning to me." "Just enjoy the moment," Sifrei said while smiling, "this is the start of a new era." How could she enjoy such moment when she had lost two of her loved ones ever since she came to the Overworld, how could she be expected to deal with the pain of being left behind by those two? A few nights before, she had a dream, a dream in which her brother asked her to live life to its fullest, for both him and Henry. She deserved to be happy, and it would make him happy to see her that way. That dream made her realize that Aurion was right. She was going to live, and she was going to remember those who didn't make it. It was the least she could do. The trio made their way into the palace of Kilkis Seres, people were already gathered there. They had seen some familiar faces among the crowd, both human and fey. Aura had found Helios moments after they arrived, but he was quickly spirited away by his parents. Aura decided to give him some space. She remained still, looking around the palace, it felt like it was the first time she had been there even when the last time was not the best. Helios's voice brought her back to reality. "And thank you for helping me find the strenght to keep moving forwards, Helios," Aura said as she intertwined her fingers with Helios', "I lost so much ever since I came here, but having you by my side gives me the strenght to keep going. I am sure both Henry and Aurion would give me a lecture if I gave up, but with you by my side, I know I can conquer any challenge." Both Rabiyu and Sifrei left Aura with Helios as they felt the deserved some privacy. So they walked back a few meters and waited for the ceremony to start. "Any news back home?" Sifrei asked, "None. It has been a couple of days, but the more I try to use the astral projection, something dispels the spell. It is quite strange." Rabiyu answered. "Well, the Tide Mother and the King of Kings are aware of what happened in Isopolis. Our report was very detailed. Or at least yours was. I was not aware once we arrived at the last part." he said while rubbing his cheek. "Do not worry about it. They were informed of everything I remember, and what little I don't, I do not think it is that important, we were fighting at the time, after all." Rabiyu said calmly, "I do have a question. I learned that you were planning to help Miss Mariel face the Heavenly Host. Do you realize that we have to go back to the North, right?" "I know, I know. And my offer for her still stands. I have no authority with the Heavenly Host, as I am not part of it, but that doesn't mean I cannot help a friend in need," Sifrei said while looking at the elf, "We will go back home, but if she indeed goes to face the Host, then I will return and be at her side. You know, for support." Rabiyu stared at the archangel for a moment, trying to find out what was going through his mind, but she didn't. Besides, she understood the feeling of wanting to help someone. Yevgeni had been abscent ever since they came back from Isopolis, and that was expected, he had conspired to kill the Frostbearer and destroy the world below. Forgiveness was not something that he could expect from Kilis Seres, or most individuals for that matter. But she knew that he needed someone, a friend, to be at his side, and she had decided to be there when he needed her.
  12. - Aura, Rabiyu and Sifrei - Isopolis - Aura stood still on the same spot just as Henry finally banished from the world. In on hand she was holding Henry's long sword, a memento for him to her, and the other was reaching out for someone who wasn't there. This moment, this simple moment, felt eternal, as if everything would stay like that forever, until Aura felt a pair of hands on her shoulders. "Do not forget his sacrifice, for it is thanks to him that each one of us recovered that which was most important." Sifrei said calmly. "But what about him? He didn't get the chance to..." Aura replied without looking at Rabiyu or Sifrei. "May the Source and the Gods have mercy and let him have his well-deserved rest. Never forget about him, Aurora. If you keep his memory in your heart, then he will never die." Rabiyu said. Aura simply nodded and remained silent, whatever was happening around her was currently of no importance for her mind, until the voice of Alastor brought her back. Apparently, he was asking about Rufus' lamp, but for what reason? what was he planning to do with it. "Rufus' lamp? Well, yeah...I suppose it does." She answered. "With us travelling to the past, Rufus' freedom at the hands of Ahriman became undone. So yeah, it is highly possible that wishes can be made." Rabiyu said to Alastor. "But why are you asking?" Aura said while looking at Alastor, "What is it that you want to wish for?"
  13. - Aura, Rabiyu and Sifrei - Isopolis - Aura had been busy with preventing Sifrei from attacking Odin, but once he gave up the Archangel relaxed, and Aura took this as a sign to not worry anymore, but that was not meant to be, not when she heard Henry's and the Source's voice just as she recalled the faces of both her mother and brother. This couldn't be, he wouldn't dare, not when they had saved the worlds. Aura quickly turned around just in time to see Elia embracing Henry, she felt glued to the ground but she was also moving towards Henry and the young fairy at a quick pace. "No...No! You can't do this! You can't! We won and we saved the worlds from Ahriman!" Aura yelled as she stopped in front of Henry and began to hit his arm over and over, "Don't you dare to do this now. I have already lost two people who I loved, please, don't become the third." Aura was currently looking to the ground in order to hide the sadness in her face, and to hide the tears that were now coming down her cheeks. Why was it that she had to lose those she loved as her family. It was not fair. It was simply not fair. Sifrei was looking towards Aura at this point, and now, he felt pain in his chest. Not physical pain, but pain nonetheless. Ever since they had arrived to this particular place he had been unable to say anything, as he didn't feel anything, but now that his sacrifice had been returned, he felt sadness for Aura and also Henry. "Sacrifices have been made in order to regain that which was lost, whether it was the world below and the lives lost, or our own personal sacrifices to the Forbidden Shrine," Sifrei said calmly, "What has happened here must not happen again. It must be prevented from happening once more." "You are not alone in this, Yevgeni, remember that. No matter how, no matter when," Rabiyu said as she looked at Yevgeni into his eyes, "whenever you need someone, I will be there. I will not let you suffere alone, you don't deserve that." Something inside her heart told her that Yevgeni would understand what was buried inside her own heart, whether it was pain, loneliness, sadness or despair, there were things that Rabiyu wanted to tell Yevgeni, things from the bottom of her heart, and her lips parted for a moment, clearly ready to come clean, but from one reason or another, she felt that it was something that was better left unsaid. This was not the place nor the time, after all. Yevgeni's focus then changed to Nergal, his companion, and Rabiyu looked towards her own comrades, that's when she saw Sifrei in the distance and Aura punching Henry's arm. Even when she had been speaking with Yevgeni she had listened to what Henry Hansees had done, what he had given in order to regain that which was lost to all of them. Her happy memories were back, but the cost had been great. She began to walk towards Henry, Elia and Aura, and stopped just a few meters away. "You have made such a great sacrifice for the sake of those present here, Henry Hansees, even though it was not something that needed to be done. You have shown us your selflessness, and your interest to help the rest of us at the cost of your own existence," Rabiyu said as she looked at Henry square in the eyes, "may the Pale Mistress bless you and, hopefully, the Source allows you to find your way beyond the Divine Gate. Your sacrifice will be remembered by all of us."
  14. - Aura, Rabiyu and Sifrei - Isopolis - Aura looked towards Odin and those who were holding him, Helios included, but for some reason she felt somewhat guilty, maybe because the man hadn't done anything, yet. "That is enough Sifrei, he said he will not do anything," She said while looking at the Archangel and making him lower his spear, "you don't have to worry about him. For now, at least." The Archangel stared for a few seconds at Odin, the man who had fused with another to form a great danger to reality and, very deep down, he felt some hint of pity for him, or perhaps for the one that was destroyed. Meanwhile, Rabiyu kept looking between the Source and Yevgeni, everyone wanted the same, to restore the world below and the lives that were lost, but she was more interested in if Nergal would stop after what Yevgeni had said to him. She slowly made her way towards Yevgeni and Nergal, managing to listen what they were saying, Nergal's face giving away many different emotions in the span of a few seconds, but most noticeable was the hint of deep regret. She, however, was more surprised to find out tears on Yevgeni's eyes, he had sacrificed everything to reach his goal, only to be shown a future in which his plan had failed. "We all made mistakes when all of this began. People lost their lives in this battle between humans and fey, between Kilkis Seres and Mystras, between those who wanted to keep the barrier and those who wanted to give humans a chance," she said calmly as she as she wiped Yevgeni's tears away, "we will have to live with those mistakes for the rest of our long lives, but that doesn't mean we cannot change. You are proof of that, you changed your mind and you helped make this possible. The world below the Sea of Clouds will be restored along with all the lives that were lost. I am glad that you changed your mind, I am glad that there is no more reason for us to fight." She didn't really knew what to say to Yevgeni to make him feel even a little better, she was bad at getting close with others ever since she could remember, but she could see a lot of her in Yevgeni, especially the loneliness both of them carried inside, and so, if he needed someone to rely on, she would be there for him.
  15. - Aura, Rabiyu and Sifrei - Isopolis - They were back, back before the fight began. Rabiyu' eyes quickly moved towards Odin, but before she could react, the Prince had already made his move against the future threat, quickly followed by Helios as he transformed into a large snake to hold him down. "Mond? Watch over Odin with the others, please," she said calmly, "we do not know if this was the point when he wanted to obtain the Source for himself, but better safe than sorry." The Archangel nodded and walked towards the Prince, Helios and Odin, his spear materializing on his hand before pointing it at Odin just in case he tried to do something. Meanwhile Aura was looking towards the entity that was the Source of All Life, even with her poor sight she could still see it perfectly, as if whatever she was suffering was worthless against such being. "My companions wish the same as me," Aura said, "the restoration of the world below the Sea of Clouds, along with the restoration of the lives that were lost alongside it." Rabiyu felt the same, though she didn't feel the need to express her thoughts to the Source, thoughts that, perhaps, it already knew. Instead, she was looking towards Yevgeni, he had taken a different path, he had changed his way of thinking, and that made her feel glad and relieved, there was no more reason to fight against each other again.
  16. - Aurion - Radiant Garden - Aurion listened closely to Erinys' story, it seemed that she had been through a lot, a lot of suffering, at least. He felt a little guilty for having escaped from his home into the Light, unlike her who had been forced to stay and endure such life. "I'm sorry to hear that. I suppose Dramos is a huge problem, even now," Aurion said as he looked at Erinys, "many had to choose whether to stay and endure the threat that is Dramos, try to stay as far away as possible, or try to find a way to into the Light." The ex-delivery boy thought about his own experiences for a moment. He had arrived in the Realm of Light alone, scared of the possible threat of invasion, and the possible dangers of a denizen of the Dark showing up in the worlds of the Light. While is life had been better than back at home, it had been hard to fit in, those with the power to wield the mystic keyblade often used it to extort the weak, the unprotected, it was them who were supposed to help, not hurt. And so he learned that both Light and Dark weren't so different after all. "I learned that there are people worth saving, both from the Light and the Dark. There are a lot of egomaniacs in the Light, I agree on that, but there are people worth saving too, those who have to suffer at the hands of those who were meant to protect them," he said as he clenched his fist, "Whatever you end up choosing is not a bad choice. You have your own values, and your own way to see life. Whether you end up helping both sides to get rid of their tyrants, or let them fall against any of them, I will not think badly of you. But if you decide to lend a hand, well, I could help you with that." - Aether - Twilight Town - The mission had taken a turn for the worse in a matter of minutes and Aether didn't knew what to make of it. The person in that room was strange, she couldn't deny that, but she had to focus on finding Kira and making sure they got away quickly. Said woman was crumpled on the street, she struggled to her feet only to remove her helmet. "Hey, are you-" Aether said. Whatever remained of her words was lost when she noticed Kira's eyes glowing with a orange-ish light, but this was not the time for questions, they had to get as far away as possible, or else who know what would happen, not if the person upstairs catched up with them. Aether could hear the guards ordering to "Halt" only for them to go silent when a flash of light emanated from the hole, she didn;t waited to find out what that was. Instead, she catched up with Kira and remained at her side just in case she needed further assistance to keep going. "What happened back there?" Aether asked, "who was that person?"
  17. - Aura, Rabiyu and Sifrei - Isopolis: The City of Isolation - It was finally over, the would-be god was no more, erased from the face of the world, never to return, or, at least, that's what Rabiyu wanted to think. Ahriman's wish to Rufus worried her, but at this point she was exausted, ready to just collapse and rest, but reality itself still was deteriorating around the whole group, what little was left of Isopolis was fading away, like breath on a mirror. "I guess this is it then?" Aura said behind Rabiyu, "We won, yet we still lost." Rabiyu turned around and touched Aura's cheek, her face was calm, yet had signs of worry, worry at the realization that they couldn't do anything to prevent it, not even when they had the help of a goddess. Sure they were healed, but what was the point when they were going to disappear in a matter of minutes. "It's alright, Aurora, everything will be alright." Rabiyu said. The voice of Elia made both girls look in her direction. Apparently, she had an idea of how to fix their current situation. She wanted to use Time Magic, something that Rabiyu knew was both complicated AND dangerous, but they had no choice, not anymore, not when everything was ready to disappear, they were going to have to take the risk. Rabiyu and Aura walked towards those who were now holding each other's hands, Rabiyu stood next to Yev and slowly, perhaps hesitantly, or maybe timidly, she grasped his hand and intertwined her fingers with his. Aura on the other hand walked next to Elia and grasped her other hand, ready to face whatever the future had in store, she knew that her brother was watching over her, just as that beautiful pale lady was. "This is it, we will make this work, all of us," Aura said," no matter if we are friends or foes, together we will fix this." Sifrei was watching everyone holding hands from the spot he was standing, and although he couldn't say or feel anything at the moment, a spark inside his very being made him realize that this was important, that he had to help everyone if they wanted to fix whatever problem they had been trying to fix. He walked next to Rabiyu and put his hand on her shoulder, he could feel that the elf was tense, nervous, something that, deep down, he knew was uncommon. He then grasped her hand and looked towards Elia, ready to perform whatever was needed to help her use her Time Magic.
  18. - Aura, Rabiyu and Sifrei - Isopolis: The City of Isolation - They were falling, that was quite obvious for Rabiyu, Aura and Sifrei. Trying to fly was pointless as they were still falling into the endless abyss. Ahriman had done the impossible, shatter reality itself, and challenged everyone to one last fight. Rabiyu's eyes followed the injured human princes, but she had to use her remaining power to defeat the god. "Mond! Princess Athena needs help. Reach her and use your healing magic." Sifrei stared at the white haired elf for a moment before slowly making his way towards the unconsious princess. He held her in one of his arms as the other began to glow with a faint light. It was not yet time for the princess to die, or at least that's what the elf had thought. Rabiyu was slightly surprised when she felt that someone held her hand, that someone was Yevgeni, but more surprising was that he was smiling. That smile gave Rabiyu the impression that he was hiding something, but what that was, she didn't knew. If Yevgeni had waited just a little more he would have seen the lips of the white haired elf move, but no words coming out, it was something that had remained hidden inside her heart for quite some time now, but, perhaps, it was better if it remained that way. "Aurora, focus on the power of the sword, unleash it and I will use it to boost my spell." "Alright," Aura answered, "This is it. This is the end." "Do not be scared, Aurora, everything will be fine. The Pale Mistress is watching over you." Rabiyu said. The young human girl nodded, still feeling quite scared, as she held the sword in front of her. "I am indeed here, child. I stand forever at the side of you mortals, I am your constant companion," a gentle voice said, "I will not forsaken you, none of you, ever. I will be here when the destined time arrives for you to start a new journey, but for now, you have to believe in your strength." "Believe in yourself, Aurora," a familiar voice said, "You are my sister, and I believe in you." Aura's eyes widened as she felt a hand on her shoulder, and for a split second, she could see the smiling face of her brother, Aurion, and the beautiful pale face of a strange, yet familiar woman. The sword began to glow just as Rabiyu began to quickly mutter arcane words under her breath and six different colored glyphs appeared in front of her, each one representing an element, but instead of each one firing a beam of energy, all of them merged into a single, bigger glyph thanks to the boost in power that Rabiyu had absorbed from Aura's magical sword. "This will be the end of you, Ahriman. This world does not need you. Begone from the face of this world!" The glyph glowed brighter and brighter with each passing second until, suddenly, a powerful multi-elemental beam of arcane energy was fired towards Ahriman, hopefully vanishing him forever from the face of the Overworld.
  19. - Aura, Rabiyu and Sifrei - Isopolis: The City of Isolation - Aura remained quiet for a moment, reading what Helios had written on the ground with his blood. He loved her, and she loved him as well. She nodded in understandment to what Helios said. "I understand, we still need to take down that pretentious wannabe of a god." She said quietly, "just...just be careful." "It is just as he said, Yevgeni. It doesn't matter what brought us here. We have to focus on finishing it," Rabiyu answered Yevgeni as she still focused on healing Helios, "You made mistakes, and so did I, so did many, if not all, who conform this group. We failed to see the consequences of our actions, either good or bad, and for that, we must atone. But let us finish this so-called god first before we can try to make up for those mistakes." Rabiyu's magic was slowly reaching her limit after her blackout, in which she didn't remember what she did, and summoning the elemental spirits, she had to save some of her arcane power just in case it was needed. She once again pointed her bow at Ahriman, looking for an opening. "Mond, Aurora, allow me the use of your arcane energy once more. My own is almost at its limit and I rather save it, just in case," She said calmly, "I will try to do the same attack as before. It will be weaker, obviously, but still strong enough to cause some damage if it hits its mark." Sifrei's healing magic stopped as he stood up and walked towards the white haired elf. He put his hand on her shoulder and focused on transferring some of his own power to her bow. Aura remained with Helios a little longer, taking deep breaths to calm herself. After a few seconds she also walked next to Rabiyu and held her sword closer to the bow. Rabiyu's bow produced another arrow made of light ready to be fired at Ahriman, it was just a matter of time for an opening to appear. Rabiyu could hear Rufus' voice in the distance. Apparently he had managed to suppress some of his power, which was a good thing, as Elia's own arrow had found its mark, making the god angry at her, if his multiple attacks were any indication. This gave Rabiyu the perfect opening to also shoot her arrow towards Ahriman in an attempt to hit between his ribs with her arrow of light. "Now!" Rabiyu said as Ahriman launched his attack towards Elia.
  20. - Aurion - Radiant Garden - Raising Falls - "Fear of Dramos is a reason, I suppose," Aurion answered quietly, "some also said that the Light would be a good place to live. I guess they were wrong." Living in the Realm of Light had been hard thanks to the rule of those who used the Keyblade as a sign of superiority from others. Those who were meant to protect people were often the ones hurting them the most, nothing like he once imagined the Light would be. "I wanted to escape into the Light to take my parents away from the danger that was Dramos, but..." Aurion looked to the cloudy sky anf sighed, "I guess they had other plans. When we found a passage to the Light I was told to escape alone, that they were going to stay behind while I traveled to the Light. It has been hard, I just hope that they managed to stay away from Dramos. What about you? What is your story? " - Aether - Twilight Town - Aether was surprised that the figure had managed to caught her dagger, but more surprised by what was inside the hood, or at least what she could see, three pair of eyes were looking at her. "My path is my own, you do not get to choose it for me," Aether replied, "Now leave my friend or you will suffer the-" The blast from Kira made Aether stumble back, but she quickly regained her composure and was ready to continue with the fight. That was until Kira told her to abort and return to the LZ. The ex-raven saw how Kira was blasted through the wall, while the sound of approaching footsteps could be heard. Without waiting for the guards, or for the mysterious figure, Aether jumped through the hole on the wall to try and reach Kira and return to the LZ.
  21. Yup. I feel we went a little overboard with the super abilities and what not, obviously a bit of lack of communication on our part. I think that now that we have realized that, we can do better to avoid making the same mistake again. The moral of this is: We need to speak up once things start to get out of control, so everyone can continue to enjoy this.
  22. - Aura, Rabiyu and Sifrei - Isopolis: The City of Isolation - The attack against the last clone of Ahriman was a success as it was erased from the world. But the fight was not over yet. Eclaire had given them another boost for a final attack against the so called god. "This will be our strongest shot," Rabiyu said as she pointed her bow towards Ahriman, "focus on the bow, allow yourself to give it you power," Sifrei put his hand on the elf's shoulder, Aura did the same. An arrow made of light appeared in the bow, getting brighter and brighter as the white haired elf waited for the perfect moment to attack. And there it was! The moment she was waiting for when the God gave a small window of opportunity to get shot. "Begone, False God!" Rabiyu yelled, "You do not belong in this world!" The arrow was released, like a streak made of light flying towards Ahriman. Powerful, capable of piercing his heart if Lady Luck permitted it, but alas it was not to be. Ahriman had managed to steal Rufus's lamp and make a wish, only to discard the lamp moments later, and cast a suppression field around the battlefield. The trio's arrow of light quickly diminished until it faded away before reaching Ahriman. The suppression field was not the only reason for that, though. "The Spriggan is dying! He is giving himself up so we may strike!" Those words made Aura's confidence and resolve shatter, for it was her spriggan, her love, her Helios, that was offering his life to hold Ahriman down so the others could attack, and so, in the last second, her concentration faltered. Sifrei was looking at the god in the distance while Rabiyu was looking at her. "Why did you hesitated, Aurora?" She asked, "This is not the time for-" "You were going to hurt Helios!" Aura answered, "I was not going to let you do that." "He did what he had to do to give us-" "I don't care! I have lost a person close to me already, I wasn't going to lose another one." Rabiyu didn't answered, she didn't have anything to say, she was trying to get rid of Ahriman, even if it meant hurting Helios in the process. At that moment the Levithian approached, leaving a wounded Helios before going back into the fight. While Aura couldn't really see that well, she did recognized Helios' scent, so she quickly ran to his side, only for Yevgeni to arrive and apply healing magic on him. She could see the Spriggan covered in blood, she could smell it all around him, and it hurt her heart. "You have to heal him!" Aura said to Yevgeni as she kneeled next to Helios, "Do not let him die, please" Sifrei and Rabiyu followed Aura. Rabiyu noticed the many wounds on the Spriggan's body, he was such a brave soul, and she had been ready, and willing, to extinguish that life in order to save the world below. Rabiyu motioned to Sifrei to follow her and help Yevgeni with the healing process, so both she and the Archangel walked next to blond elf and the spriggan and began to focus on helping Helios with his wounds with some healing magic. When Aura noticed that Helios was trying to sit up she helped him, trying to avoid causing him pain. "I thought that I was going to lose you too," Aura said as she hugged Helios, no matter if she ended up covered in blood, "I don't want to lose another person dear to me. Not again."
  23. - Aura, Rabiyu and Sifrei - Isopolis: The City of Isolation - Sifrei reached his hand out just as Ahriman plucked the spear from his chest and attempted to snap it in half. The spear, in a combination of light and darkness, faded from Ahriman's hand only to reappear on Sifrei's. "And OUR will won't be shattered by the likes of you," Aura yelled, "We will win this fight and you will fall to us!" As Aura spoke, Rabiyu noticed that Ahriman's wounds were knitting themselves together, slowly, but surely. The only exception was the large one, which, she supposed, would take even more time to heal. The Elemental Spirits hovered for a few seconds before retracting back into the glyphs just as they faded away. The white haired elf nocked an arrow and enfused it with fire magic, making it's tip glow with a red light. At that moment three clones of Ahriman darted towards the trio, ready to continue the fight. As one of the clones was getting closer, Rabiyu back-flipped into a small cloud of black mist behind her and, somehow, disappeared into the ground just as the cloud faded away. As another one moved closer to the Archangel, he crouched before taking a huge leap into the sky, probably taking the clone by surprise, but just as the clone was about to look up, an arrow went flying towards its head, an arrow that came from a small point of black mist in front of him, an attack it managed to easily dodge by moving its head to the side, this was the perfect distraction as the clone would soon find a spear coming out of its chest, a spear held by the Archangel. Sifrei waited for it to fall to the ground, instead, he was greeted with an explosion to the face, one that he could barely escape thanks to his speed, but not without suffereing some damage from it just as he moved away from it. Aura, while not completely fine, managed to notice the clone heading her way, and was ready to engage with the clone. Instead, Rabiyu suddenly appeared in front of her. "Be careful, do not let it get close to you," Rabiyu said as she looked towards Sifrei after the explosion and the cloud left behind by the clone, "We do not know what that cloud that is left behind will do." Two clones were now heading their way. Rabiyu ran towards one, dismissing the bow and taking out her daggers, jumping towards the clone and slashing down towards it, making it jump back a bit, only for it to be welcomed by a swing of Aura's sword in an attempt to take its head, making it crouch to avoid the attack. At this point Rabiyu was almost neart the clone, muttering arcane words under her breath to enfuse her daggers with lightning as she stabbed the clone on its back. This made the clone shake for a moment and, as if in slow motion, it began to grow and grow until it exploded. "Mond!" Was the only thing Rabiyu managed to say. The sight, and pain, of the imminent explosion made Aura close her eyes to brace for the coming pain, but that pain never came, instead, she was now at some distance away from the newly released cloud from the clone. "What happen?" She asked, before noticing Sifrei behind her and Rabiyu, "Oh, right. You can do that." At this point only a single clone remained, Rabiyu raised her hand as flames gathered in her palm, Sifrei did the same with his light magic, and Aura, looking at the other two, pointed her sword at the clone as it began to glow. "BEGONE!" Aura and Rabiyu said at the same time. With that single word the three beams of magical energy were released towards the last clone that was running towards the trio, hitting it and engulfing it into beams of light and fire until it disappeared from the face of the world, leaving only a cloud of radiation behind as the proof of its short and meager excistance.
  24. All of that is good, but I still feel bad for the people, no matter how many there are, who do not have internet connections because they will miss stuff.
  25. - Aurion - Radiant Garden - Raising Falls - "Not every wielder in the Light are as capable as the legend makes them out to be, " Aurion answered quietly, "Some just love to show off." It took both of them a few minutes to reach the castle in the distance. The sound of fighting slowly fading as the got farther away from the spot. Aurion kept taking a look behind him to make sure that Erinys was still following him, she didn't looked quite alright, but Aurion understood that was to much to ask at the moment. After arriving at the castle Aurion quickly searched for a spot where they could hide for the time being. "It's alright...I think we lost them," Aurion replied, "At least for now." - Aether - Twilight Town - "Touchy. You might hurt my feelings, Kira," Aether said as she walked closer to the door, "But sure, I will let you work while I wait over here." The ex raven leaned against the door as she watched Kira do whatever she had to do to find out what she was looking for. The look on her face made Aether think that she had found something, but maybe it was not related to this particular job. As Aether prepared a witty comeback for Kira, her words got stuck on her throat as a new figure appeared out of nowhere and grabbed Kira by her neck. The first thing she did after hearing the shot was to run in a circle towards Kira and the mysterious figure while taking her daggers out. "I'm not going to leave you here!" Aether said as she threw one of her daggers towards the figure in an attempt to make it let go of kira.
