    Don't worry, mate. Just have fun in the beach. I have a question. If the time comes when Sif and Mariel travel to the place of Shiva's murder, is Henry going to go too? I mean, that's still a few posts away, and maybe you will be back by then, but I just want to be sure if we should be under the impression that Henry will travel with those two, you know, just in case.

    Ammy would be like "Come on! It's just a standar job, Jari. Nothing dangerous at all, I promise! Right, Mama?" Rabs: *staring directly at Jari* "Retrieve such an important item from a dragon's hoard is not exactly an easy task, Young one. Keep an eye on my Seedling, Jari. Or else, unlike her, you won't have the chance to possess more than one tail." Ammy: Stop joking, Mama! Rabs: My apologies. My colleagues say that I have an awful sense of humor.

    It is a good thing that Jari didn't managed to meet with Ammy, Rabs's, well, she is like a daughter of sorts, when she was goofing around Kilkis prior to the battle, goofing meaning spying. The poor boy wouldn't be able to handle Ammy's spirit for adventures and danger

    - Aether and Aurion - Outside the Palace - "Explosions, and that's it. Everything after that was just chaos." Aurion answered the soldier, "I do recall a noble who told me he didn't knew this was supposed to be a party for the Emperor, but I guess his invitation must have been misprinted. I already informed His Lordship, the Crown Prince, of such thing when I was getting paid for my service. How about you, Aether?" Aether, while staying behind Aurion, was looking directly at the soldier. Although her face showed a small amount of fear, this was a facade, she noticed the soldier looked tense, more than normal, like she was waiting to be attacked by her or Aurion. Sure, she could knock her out and be done with her, but what would be the case? That would only cause troubles for her, and Aurion, of course. "Uh? N-no...I didn't. I was serving the honorable guests all night, as I was ordered to do," Aether answered in a quiet tone while gently pulling Aurion's shirt from behind, like she was trying to say something, " I was busy providing food and drinks all night. So, a moment to rest would have been a blessing, but that didn't happen." Aurion once again looked at the soldier and crossed his arms. Whatever the strange girl behind him was trying to say by pulling his shirt had to do with the soldier in front of him. "As you can see, Miss, both of us were busy enough to see anything besides the first explosions."

    - Aura - Near Mystran encampment - With Helios - "Actually, Rabiyu told me that besides Sifrei and a few others, not many angels dwell in the north. Elves? I think the largest concentration is in the City of Water, if what Rabiyu told me is correct," Aura answered as she sat next to Helios, "There is also dragons apparently, but she didn't told me where, only that they weren't very social with other races. The north sounds like an interesting place, that's for sure, but let's not get ahead of ourselves." The young woman listened to everything Helios wanted to do, which was a lot compared to what she wanted to do. She was amazed with everything Helios said, but she reckon that the young fey, at least she thought he was young, would have more than enough time to do all of that and more, which made her feel a little bit jealous, but it was the good kind of jealousy. Sure, she could try to do all of those things too, but in reality Aurion was the one who sometimes thought about being a scholar, not her. "If things go well, and humans can one day come to this world, I am sure your books will help a lot of them. Same with any fey who wish to go to the world below," Aura said while looking around the trees, "I am sure you will fulfill all your goals, Helios. You will far outlive any of us from the world below, but I am sure you will help future generations." Aura never thought about that particular topic. Sure, sometimes Aurion would joke about wanting nephews or nieces, and she would do the same to him, but it was always that, a joke. She was still young, she was still in her mid-twenties, but she knew a few girls who were married at a younger age. Perhaps one day, but not in the near future. "I am, thanks for asking. I think I felt a little oppressed being around such a place," she answered without looking at Helios, "The scent of blood, the cries of pain, the faces full of sadness or anger. I had to get away from all of that for a moment. You have my thanks for that."

    - Aura - Near Mystran encampment - With Helios - "There was no other way, ever since I was a child we had to adapt. With our Mother gone Aurion and I had to adapt to survive." she answered calmly, "We always had each other's backs, and I hope we can do the same too." Aura looked as the Jackalope and the few babies as they began to eat the fruit Helios gave them. "Me? I don't really know. To tell the truth, Helios, me and my brother never had a plan in mind," Aura answered, "We wanted to find a peaceful place to call home, but after that? I have no idea." The young woman looked at the bouque she had on her arms, then back at the small creatures. This world was a strange, beautiful one, maybe, just maybe, she could find her place here. "Perhaps I will stay up here, If I am allowed after all of this is over. Rabiyu, the white haired elf woman, said that we could travel to the north with her and Sifrei, the archangel, that we would be welcomed there." Aura answered, "Maybe I will take on her offer. She told me that I would fit right in in the Divine City of Water, wherever that may be. Or I could ask for a plot of land, I could always go back to my roots." Aura could see herself tending to the crops, just like Melian, her mother, did before. Sure, things worked different in the Overworld it seemed, but Aura guessed that farms were still necessary, at least she hoped. "Maybe a little journey around the Overworld, to get to know it better? To see what it has to offer. Or...or..." Aura said, not finding words to express what she wanted to say, "Anyways. We will see, Helios, we will see. Fate is a strange thing, it tends to change whenever we least expect it. How about you? What are your plans for the future?

    Same here. My plan, if it doesn't change, would take Aura to the north, where she would explore for a couple of years, that and she would try to accept the changes she would be experiencing from now on. But who knows what the future will bring! Aura's fate could change.

    Hang in there! I'm sure thing will get better if you rest well and give your all. I will be honest and will say that I'll like to see where this is heading Helios you have one chance, either you get the girl, or someone else will do in the fuuuture. We'll see. Aura: Why are we talking about this!? Sifrei: Well, here in the Overwo- *gets punched in the stomach* Rabiyu: No comment. Mielinare: Dragons can procreate with any species, if they possess the right spell. Or so I've been told. Which is not- Rabiyu: Men...Mielinare, this is not the place nor the time. Mielinare: Oh? My apologies, I think I may have misspoken.

    Holy cow, Aura! You're hurting my heart. But I guess those times you put on the tough act was because Aurion always had your back. All those times when you did reckless things was because you had someone behind you. Now it is time to walk for yourself, learn to live, and to share your true feelings with those who, in time, you will call family. Aura was always the strongest of the two siblings physically, but she was always hiding what she truly felt, she was reckless and always ran towards danger, but now? Now she understand that being reckless has consequences. She grew stronger thanks to her brother's sacrifice and she will remember him always. The shipping is appreciated. If she doesn't end with Helios, then she will end with a very familiar creature back on the north, if all goes according to her planned ending. I almost had to do a spit-take when I saw that part

    - Aura - Mystran encampment - "Thank you. You are wise, Helios, wiser than I will ever will be. Yesterday I lost half of me. I know that I will see my brother again one day, but not too soon, I hope. There is still much to do, so much to see, and perhaps, when all of this is over, I will do just that. I will explore and see this world of yours first." Aura said as she looked at the boy in front of her. The headache was now long gone, and the only scents she could smell were the scent of flowers, trees, the scents of nature. "I know. I'm not alone, not anymore. The memories I shared with my brother will keep me going through this difficult times. I will be strong, I will endure the trials we will face. I will keep living and enjoy the world for both me and my brother." Helios offered his pinky for a a promise, and Aura did the same, a promise between friends. "It is a promise then, Helios." Aura said with her brightest smile.

    - Aura - Mystran encampment - Aura followed and watched Helios from behind, maybe other people would look at the strange pair, but she didn't cared, she was glad that the noise and scents of the encampment were left behind, well, at least most of it. Although Aura did enjoy the change, the air was cleaner, the noise was minimal, just like back home. "I understand. I know I am not like you, but even I can feel that the world is different somehow," Aura said to Helios as they kept walking, "And I suppose even the creatures are mourning the death of the queen. She was the ruler after all." It took Aura by surprise when Helios ran to the tree, only for him to transform and get lost among the branches. Aura took a moment to look at the trees around, this was such a beautiful place, even more than the forest of her childhood. How many year their world had before last night? how much time did the humans had before the world perished? It didn't mattered anymore, the barrier was gone and the world would thrive once more. She crouched down to pick one of the fruits that had fallen from the tree, she didn't waited a long time before she took a bite and, the her surprise, the fruit was sweet, delicious. She then raised only to be surprised once again when Helios swung upside down. "O-oh, um...t-thanks, Helios," Aura answered as she took the bouque and stared at it, "These are lovely, and I have to say that this forest is just, just beautiful. It's like nothing I've ever seen before, not even in my childhood, or my travels with Aurion guided us to a place as beautiful as this one." The pain of remembering her childhood was great, just like it was remembering her mother, her brother, and all the time they had spent together. She had no family anymore, but she wasn't alone, there was Helios, and maybe Henry, even the crazy elf girl and the archangel, maybe she could consider them her new family when all of this was over. The young woman then looked at Helios once more, a gentle smile was now on her face, just like a few fresh tears running down her cheeks. Only a few people had seen her like this, at her most vulnerable, being her true self, now Helios had seen her too. "Thank you for trying to cheer me up, Helios. I really appreciate it."

    - Aura - Mystran encampment - Aura smiled a bit while listening at Helios, she wondered how he could be that excited after everything he went through while he was locked in their world. Somehow it made her feel like she was listening at her older brother when they were young, when their mom took them to the market, like playing pretend with Aurion in the forest near the farm, like every day was a new adventure, even when she was being grumpy with Aurion only to make him angry, which never really happened. "One of the healers said I was good to go when I woke up. Said that my injuries where mostly physical and the few open wounds I got were healed thanks to their magic, but thanks for caring, Helios." Aura said calmly while looking at the sky. Since the time they escaped and arrived at Mystras, Aura didn't had much time to go explore the surounding. Maybe Helios's idea was a good one. "Collect wild flowers sounds like a good idea, Helios," she said softly, "I think some fresh air might be what I need."

    - Aura - Mystran encampment - "I know that, Helios. I just hope that all the people have the some faith in Lord Raiden." Aura answered as she watched Henry walk away, "This event will cause distrust among everyone in here, morale will fall among the people. And yes, anger can make people do stupid things. Aura rubbed the bridge of her nose, her headache was passing, and yet the voices were still loud, the different scents still lingered. What was happening with her? it was like she wasn't the same, like something was different. "F-flying lessons? U-um...I-I do not think that's a good idea, Helios," Aura squeaked, "I-I'm not feeling that good at the moment, b-but maybe another time? I feel that if we go up into the sky, well...we may have an accident and you will need a bath." Aura smiled and laughed nervously, half of what she said was meant as a joke, the other, not so much. "Maybe when I'm feeling a little better, yes?" Aura rubbed Helios's chin with her finger, "I promise you that...that I will try to get over my fear, okay?"

    - Aether and Aurion - Outside the Palace - Aether was walking next to Aurion very closely, her arms wrapped around the young man's arm. She was thinking about Omicron until she heard the voice of someone asking the people to go back inside. Perhaps it was a sign that she had to return? That was until another voice made her focus once again, a voice that belonged to a female soldier, she quickly moved behind Aurion while peeking at the soldier from behind. "D-Don't shoot." Aether said shyly, "I-Is there a problem, Miss?" Aurion was slightly confused by the sudden change in the young woman's personality, it looked like she was a completely different person. He quickly focused on the woman in front of him and slowly raised his hands. "Like my friend here said. Is there a problem, Soldier?" Aurion asked. He had seen that device before, a few of the guards possessed such thing, but he wasn't sure as to what it could do. He had to be careful unless he, and Aether, wanted to get in more troubles with the royal guard.

    The game is not for everyone thanks to the card system. I enjoyed the game when it came out on the gba and I enjoyed the remake too. Like I said, the combat system is not for everyone. It is not ky favorite combat system, but I enjoyed it when the games came out.

    Well, Jynn said he was going to announce the meeting to his men and told Raiden to do the same. Sure the people of Kilkis might not be happy about it, but Jynn will be the new king. Also I think this meeting would be very important, maybe Jynn wouldn't want the royal court involved yet, as he wants to talk about finding Shiva's killer, so Maxis and Eclaire would make sense to me as they would be Jynn's new retainers after Shiva died, same with Yev if he learned about that meeting.

    Maxis might make Rabiyu show her other side, just like Reginald caught a glimpse in the middle of their fight

    I'm thinking that Yevgeni will try (and would be?) part of that meeting. That scenario makes sense to me, he being the self imposed temporary regent of Kilkis. He will need to keep tabs on Jynn AND Raiden. And I suppose Eclaire will be there too, maybe. If Rabs finds out that the dagger that was stolen was the weapon used to kill Shiva her mind will make that connection rather quickly.
