  1. This is actually a lazy town cover.
  2. Doesn't do anything for me. I guess I just prefer more natural flesh tones.
  3. Wow, thats the exact opposite of how I feel about it. I usually find really red lipstick kind of unnatural and unnerving.
  4. Clearly it's not useless if you'll be playing these games on it.
  5. It's free and it's not a huge download. I don't see what the problem is.
  6. You've only extended on the point I was making but I think you're confused on what near death and death are. Not having a heartbeat does not make someone immediaely dead. Yes there is a small window in which a person can be revived after a pulse has stopped, but they are not "dead". I do know a bit about medical procedures in fact since I've worked in a hospital. Just to clear this up, there is a document called the uniform determination of death act (UDDA) that was made in cooperation with the american medical association. The criteria for determining death are "An individual who had sustained either irreversible cessation of circulatory and respiratory function, or irreversible cessation of all functions of the entire brain including the brain stem."Irreversible being the key word here. If someone was revived through cpr, or "woke up" in a morgue, clearly they still had bodily functions and were therefore not dead, just near dead.
  7. If they were saved, then they weren't actually dead. A dead body cannot be reanimated; it has never happened.
  8. I thought I'd resurrect this thread seeing as I recently purchased WH40K Dawn of War: Dark Crusade. I'm having a lot of fun with it, but the Necrons seem to be a bit overpowered, though I suppose that's lore appropriate. Are servers still active?
  9. "I do not fear death. I had been dead for billions and billions of years before I was born, and had not suffered the slightest inconvenience from it." -Mark Twain
  10. I was talking about the credit card companies and screwing people over financially. I wasn'timplying he did.His wording could have been worse than it was, but opposing homosexuality on religious grounds is bigoted. Whether he knew it or not, he said something he shouldn't have if he didn't want backlash. He's free to say whatever he likes, but when he said something like this, he shouldn't be suprised by the response it gets.
  11. Exactly, it gets as political as people want it to be. I hardly think he's being screwed over by this. He already has millions. Stealing money from people, and professing a religious viewpoint that Is well known to be bigoted, is not a fair comparison.
  12. This could get way more political than it needs to be, but I wasn't going to take it there. This is about a tv channel and one of it's employees. They have every right to fire him for being offensive, especially when they are considering viewership.
  13. Neither of these are appropriate. How did you turn this into a political thing?
  14. His" intentions" aren't a good excuse for what he said.
  15. Yup. Just because it's written in an ancient text doesn't make him any less of an asshole.
